11 Best BBQ Places in Houston

"Set in a strip mall, The Brisket House doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, the restaurant is similarly modest, with a brick counter and wooden tables and chairs. It's light on frills but big on barbecue flavors, including pull-apart brisket that’s been smoked for more than 16 hours. But while it is the best, it's not the only thing on the menu. It also features standout beef short ribs, spicy jalapeño sausage, and peppery pork rib, alongside traditional mustard potato salad, pinto beans, mac ‘n’ cheese, and more. Go big with the Brisket House Special: your choice of meats with a slab of cheddar, a Kosher pickle, onions, and bread, all served on butcher paper." - Charu Suri

I have lived in Texas ALL my life and I have never had brisket served with a block of cheese. What and why? Just curious. Overall the bbq was not warm and had no flavor. Whole pickle..okay I guess but chunks of onions, not cool.

The TBH (The Brisket House) platter was very good, brisket, sausage and ribs with three sides...we chose pinto beans, cole slaw and corn bread, all 5 stars. My wife had a craving for a baked tater which was barely warm and not fully cooked, minus a star, she should have taken it back and asked for a do over.

Got This Food To Go And I Can Confidently Say That I Coulda Just Went To Dickies Or Spring Creek BBQ. I Watched Many TikTok Reviews Of This Place And While The Food LOOKS Amazing The FLAVOR Is Not There At All. It Tasted So Bland To Me. Everything From The Brisket To The Macaroni. I Was Highly Disappointed Because I’ve Seen So Many Videos And Read Reviews Just For It To Taste Like Paper. The Only Thing I Can Say I Liked Was The Cornbread. It Was Cakey But Not All The Way And There Was A Beautiful Balance Between Sweetness And Buttery It Was Great. But It’s Not Called The Cornbread House. So For That Matter I Would Definitely Not Order From Here Again.

Lots of people don’t tip for counter service these days. Most businesses don’t give customers ugly looks for that as long as the transaction is pleasant and hassle free. That wasn’t my experience this evening. I ordered the loaded baked potato with chopped brisket based on a couple recommendations. Should’ve known better.. the meat was dry and flavorless, the potato was barely room temp, and the fixings were standard Sysco fare. Hate to say it but I’ve had corporate cafeteria food better than this. Not sure how this place is still open when Goode Co and Feges are 2-3 miles away at the same price point and far superior quality. Nice atmosphere for a no fuss easy meal though!

The place was clean. A bit on the dimmer side. Has a restroom for use. Order pick up is available. The cream of corn split not sure if it was because it was in the same box as the hot food for take out.

If you need a lunch to fill you up all day, a delicious lunch won't break the bank like most of today's items. I recommend the baked potato with pulled pork and 1x extra sauce. A tall bottle of coke with extra bread will cost $14 and you'll be coming back again and again just as i have.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire—and the food here proves it. Stack that brisket like you #StackSats! The brisket is smoked low and slow over oak wood for up to 14 hours, and you can taste the love in every slice. The service was fast, friendly, and knew their way around the heat. The ambiance had a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe—perfect for kicking back and digging in. Don’t sleep on the jalapeño sausage, and if you’re using a cash back app, that’s just extra flavor on the side. Google
Went for the first time with my husband, and let me tell you, the some of the low reviews i was reading had me scared to try it but boy are they wrong. Yancy was amazing, she gave us a run down of the menu and she even let us try a piece of the brisket before we bought some. Her customer service along with the rest of the staff is top tier. The creamed corn and mac and cheese were also delish! We got two plates 18 each, with half pound of flavorful brisket and 2 sides! Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy brisket with a good environment.

Yelp
Delicious food served up by very friendly staff members. I stopped in today on the way following a visit to the dog park. I decided to get takeout than sitting out front with the dog. So so I chose the TBH special. That includes some sausage, a couple of pork ribs, and some brisket, along with a three sides. After the trip home, I warmed it up enjoyed a wonderful meal. I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

Yelp
My first time ordering and I was fairly impressed overall! Easy to order over the phone which was nice. My fav part was the banana pudding but the sandwich was by far the star. The green beans and mac & cheese we're just ok. The mac & cheese was a little bland in my opinion. But overall a really good meal, I would come back for sure and maybe order some different sides.

Yelp
I was in town on business and this location came highly recommended to enjoy some good BBQ. When I walked into the restaurant, I noticed its industrial-style design, with a brick-layer counter and an open kitchen where you could watch the food being prepared. It's a casual place where you order at the counter, pay, and then find a seat at one of the ten or so tables inside. Both the preparation and dining areas appeared clean. To be honest, I expected to be hit with the delicious smell of BBQ smoke as soon as I walked in, but that wasn't the case. Still, I went up to the counter to place my order. Unfortunately, the young woman at the counter didn't seem too interested in helping me. There was no greeting, just a cold shrug when I said hello. Asking her questions about the menu felt like a chore, and I almost considered leaving. But since I had taken an Uber to get there, I decided to stay and ordered the three-meat plate combo with brisket, ribs, and sausage, along with baked beans and loaded mashed potatoes. A polite gentleman brought the food to my table within minutes, as everything was already prepared. As I started eating, I realized I was missing cornbread--a must-have with BBQ in my opinion. I hadn't seen it listed under the main menu, but after a closer look, I found it under desserts. Reluctantly, I approached the same grumpy server to ask about it and ended up ordering a slice. Thankfully, the other men behind the counter were much friendlier. The portions were generous for the price, especially with the sides included. The meats were fantastic--well-smoked, seasoned, and tender. The baked beans had a nice smoky flavor, and the mashed potatoes were creamy with the skin still on, though they could have used a bit more topping. The cornbread was a highlight--light and fluffy with a golden brown, slightly crispy crust. It had a good balance of sweet and savory, and the honey drizzled on top made it even better. They also have a variety of drinks, including beer, soda, Dr. Pepper fountain drinks, and iced tea. Although I didn't try the desserts, they offered options like banana pudding, pecan pie, and chocolate chip brownies. Now, I'm someone who values good customer service, and I believe it can make or break the dining experience. Unfortunately, my interaction with the staff left a bad taste in my mouth. While I was there, I noticed that the young lady at the counter treated other customers differently, based on their skin color, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. Despite the good food, I won't be returning. There have to be better, more welcoming places to enjoy BBQ. Order Cornbread - $1.50 Three meat plates with 2 sides - $24.90 Food - 4 Service - 2

Yelp
Geez! Whoever cooks these ribs is awesome! So I tried the 3 meat plate: Ribs, brisket, chicken. Was great and tasty. Staff were nice and on-point. This place is a gem. If you haven't tried it, you should. I do wish they had more sides like okra. I also would like to see a 2nd option bbq sauce a little spicier. Love the country music and decor.

Yelp
A hidden gem of bbq in Tanglewood. Staff is super friendly and quick. The food is top level - like this BBQ Turkey Stuffed Baked Potato - enough for 2 meals.

Yelp
Very good BBQ they did not disappoint . Visiting from Tampa FL a couple locals told me to try it out . The brisket was bussin probably top 3 Brisket i've had all time. i was very surprised how good the cornbread was . The rest of the sides were gold too, and usually that's not the case . Customer Service was on point too, would definitely recommend this pace again. Only red check i would give it is its sweet tea, maybe it was a bad batch but it wasn't it. Other then that A+

Yelp
I hate to say this but this was the BEST barbecue I've had since I've been in Houston! We were blown away by the tenderness and the seasoning ! I'm going to come back and do a video review for them! I thoughts Papas bbq was great but their food was lacking on some items especially brisket. No complaints here I can't wait to get back! Oh and that banana pudding?!!! Righteous!!! Tastes homemade too

Yelp
Love this BBQ joint! The meat is so tender and flavorful. The portions are great, mac and cheese so creamy and delicious! The staff is also very friendly and sweet. I wish I would have gotten the banana pudding but next time for sure!

Yelp
This was our first time coming here to Texas. We came for my son's baseball tournament. This place was worth 30 minutes drive from our hotel. * We were greeted by all the staff right when we walked through the door. * The staff were very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. * We got ribs, brisket, and pulled pork - we also got their sides which were green beans, cream corn, baked beans, mac & cheese, and cornbreads they were ALL DELICIOUS and their meats were so tender that they just melted in your mouth. * We also got their Handmade Banana Pudding which was VERY DELICIOUS!!! We are going to be craving for their food. Wish they would have one in L.A.

Yelp
The bar b Que at the Brisket House is some of the best if not the best. Seasoned just right and a good tasting sauce. The price for there brisket is reasonable priced compared to the raw brisket , which is expensive.

Yelp
On the hunt for a chop beef sandwich, I came across this cute barbecue joint. I got the brisket sandwich with potato salad and was pleasantly surprised at how tender and flavorful it was. I would return if I were in the area because the service and ambiance were excellent. I give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars

Yelp
We were browsing and Ubereats and stumbled on this gem. It is quite difficult to find bbq places that will do take out without compromising quality or taste. Most bbq restaurants require long wait which can be challenging with a time constraint during lunch hours. The third time ordering we went inside during lunch rush and did not have to wait. They have a quaint interior with logs stacked on the right side of the entrance. It added to the ambiance. Service was friendly and the food came out to us hot. This is a true Texan style bbq in the middle of the city. The price is fair and you get so much food. We ordered a full rack of St. Louis style ribs. Those ribs have such beautiful smoke rings and are super tender. They come with homemade toasts, onions and pickles. The bread is fluffy and soft. We ordered their mashed potatoes and fell in love. Definitely satisfying and creamy. Lastly, their bbq sauce is nice and smooth without the taste of vinegar. Love them for their consistency and flavors.

Yelp
I haven't been in a few years. I use to come often when I lived near by. The sides were subpar in the past. This time I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was better then the last time I tried it. A higher quality kraft or processed quality. Not gourmet but not horrible. The loaded mashed potatoes were good and tasted like real potatos. I ordered brisket, lean and turkey. The turkey was good. The brisket was not lean. Mostly fatty. It disappointed me a little. It tasted good.Maybe my expectations were too high. Either way I enjoyed my meal.

Yelp
It was good. Bbq sauce wasn't my cup of tea but the brisket was moist & everyone ate it.

Yelp
So dang good! I had recommendations to try other places while we were in Houston but the locals kept saying this was one of the places we had to eat..... they weren't wrong! Brisket was so moist and sides were excellent as well! We will definitely be going back next time we're in Houston!

Yelp
The Brisket House is definitely a must try when in Htown. The service was excellent and the BBQ was worth every bite... Yelpers this place is so amazing. Let me know what you think. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN.

Yelp
Brisket is a 4-4.25. The amount of food you get is a 5+. It's been a long time since I've eaten at the Brisket House. About 10-15 years. After Goode Co went to complete garbage, we decided to swap for a change in our neighborhood. The service is great and friendly and the portions are what you think of when you think of Texas BBQ

Serelem C.

Yelp
It was a very authentic, local restaurant. The ambiance was dark but clear. The food was delicious. The brisket was very juicy. And the owner or cashier knew what he was selling.

Yelp
the signature sandwich from here is delicious. tastes amazing and the coleslaw and sauce is good. also friendly and on-time service. the sausage casing is not of a good texture so the sausage part was dipped in sauce removed from the sandwich. good with the pickles and onion.

Yelp
Over the years, I have heard a thing or two about the Brisket House, so today I decided to order from there via Uber Eats. I really only wanted a baked potato, but I figured that I'd get it with brisket to get a feel of their bbq. Well, let's just say that they didn't read the order notes at all. I specifically requested LOOSE cut brisket and no sauce at all needed. Thank God that add-ons were on the side because the rating would've been worse. I must say that it was packaged very well. The very lean brisket that I absolutely did not want, tasted like it had been boiled and had little to no flavor. Also, do not expect the potato to be that big. I gave it a 3 because the potato was literally okay. Really disappointed maybe it just wasn't their day.
google avatar

FridaYeo E.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was so delicious and tender. We love the brisket, smoked chicken, baby back ribs. We also like all the side dishes: cream corn, fresh coleslaw and the fluffy cornbread.

Yelp
I've been coming here to eat for almost 10 years now because I consider Brisket House to be the best BBQ restaurant in the Greater Houston area. The brisket, chicken and ribs are as good as ANYONE else's and the side dishes are better than most. In particular my favorites are the baked beans and baked potato salad as both are perfect. Their bbq sauce is my kind of good! Beef and pork prices are sky high so eating excellent barbecue ain't cheap! Kind of like the way crawfish prices have skyrocketed over the past 10-15 years. Brisket House is a little less expensive on their meats and sides as compared to other "top tiered" Q eateries around here. So eating at BH does provide some value in a tough price environment. This location is the OG and offers great aromas when walking inside but the seating space here is on the small side. The other location that I frequent on Cypress Creek Parkway is much larger. Either location serves the same great tasting food which speaks to BH's consistency and I'm sure the Deer Park location is the same. The meats are tender, juicy and flavorful. The side dishes are simply delicious. The prices are reasonable. What else can you ask for?
google avatar

Hong T.

Yelp
The food was really good. I got the TBH platter that comes with brisket, ribs, and sausage, and three sides. The brisket was super tender and delicious. The ribs were a little salty on their own but perfect if you dipped it in the bbq sauce that was included. I got the jalapeño sausage nothing special but delicious nonetheless. For my sides I got the baked potato salad, sweet potato mash, and Mac and cheese. All of the sides were delish! I got the pecan pie and tres leche cake for dessert. The pecan pie was so so so good! Their sweet tea was also really refreshing! I ordered delivery via Yelp and the food was amazing. Can't imagine how good the food is if I were to dine in.
google avatar

Yelp
So what gets me here is the unique platter you can order with two meats and a slab of cheddar rather than sides "the brisket house special." I also tried a piece of cornbread which was tasty. Overall the BBQ is good. Perhaps not the best I've had, but solid. Sadly it's been a while since I ate here and forgot to the the review immediately so I don't recall specifics about the BBQ... guess I'll just have to go back and review it again! When I go back I think I want to try the TBH Platter... brisket, sausage, ribs and 3 sides... split it with a friend!
google avatar

Yelp
this place is great if you're in the area. employees are super nice. get the cornbread 2 meat / 3 meat plates are classics, their sides are all great as well
google avatar

Tanveer S.

Yelp
Best brisket in town, I would put it up against killens bbq. The place is small and gets busy during lunch time brisket is scrumptious and cream of corn has small little peppers now that give it a kick. Make sure you have an extra shirt because you will end up smelling like bbq. Also recommend their pbj sandwich ( pulled pork brisket and sausage on a warm ciabatta bun)

Dusty L.

Yelp
Amazing food helpful and nice custom assistance I would recommend you all to anyone I'm hungry right now wish I had money for food

Deborah R.

Yelp
I placed an online order through their website for my office for Go Texan Day for six people for delivery to my office. One of the bbq plates in the order was missing. I called the store and was advised I could either pick up the missing item or get a refund for the missing item because they said there was no one to deliver it. Since my employee needed her lunch, I had to drive to to the store to pick up the missing plate. I asked for a refund of my delivery and processing fees as they should of done for me having to go to the store and pick it up. The manager wouldn't talk to me but had his staff offer me a free dessert. I really like their food but won't be going back due to this lack of customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Service: the people working there were so nice and patient as we had a large group with a ton of questions. Super friendly overall! Food: so we got the 3 meat plate brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. The pulled pork was my favorite but my daughter loved the brisket. The corn bread was absolutely delicious along with the cream corn. For dessert we had the banana pudding! Hands down everyone's favorite! It was overall a great place to visit and I would recommend it if you are in the area!

Yelp
Grass-fed lean brisket, turkey, baked beens, and mashed sweet potatoes were all top notch. There was nothing I found lacking except I wish they were bigger. All the tables were taken. I'll be a frequent patron here,
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Place is clean snd neat, ambience is good they were playing a baseball game, i ask for the brisket and it was moist and flavorful the turkey was kind of dry the sides i got the mac and cheese ant it was simple and tasted like it was out of the box, the baked beans were great!!!! Remember the sides are as important as the meats the complement the whole thing!
google avatar

Lamar G.

Yelp
Yes, they are smoking meat on-site, and they don't cover their smoked meat in sauce. Good signs. for a smokehouse. If they're not smoking on-site, keep driving. So this place smokes brisket, pork ribs, chicken, turkey, and pork shoulder. I tasted out most of it, and I would say they are in the top tier for their brisket. Their ribs were also very good. The turkey was tender and juicy, which is hard to do, but the pork shoulder (pulled pork) that I had was on the drier side for my taste. I had to use their sauce for the pulled pork. I also had the pinto bean side, which was also very good. I would definitely return for the brisket and ribs. The brisket was "beast"!
google avatar

Tarsha G.

Yelp
We were stuck in Houston due to the tropical storm and flooding in Florida and I decided to try this place and it did NOT disappoint! We will definitely be coming back to visit our next trip to Houston....even if we have to plan one! The food was smoky as described and so good after being delivered to me in almost 30 minute traffic during rush hour! That says a lot! The ribs were tender, the sausage were juicy and the Mac and Cheese...so creamy! The NEXT DAY, I ordered the same thing and added the Banana Pudding and OMG, words CANNOT EXPRESS! I am from Louisiana originally and it reminded me of my Aunts fresh banana pudding! It was just right with the amount of wafers and not too many banana's! I have NO complaints about anything and will DEFINITELY be back when we come through H-Town again...SOON! You don't know what you're missing people!!

Carol A.

Yelp
Best overall experience! I had a 3 meat plate 2 brisket and 1 sausage. The brisket was delicious as was the sausage. I had a side of potato salad that was so good and they were able to accommodate me with a baked potato.as another side, My.order was perfect, as they took time to make sure it was right. Also, the brisket is lean if that's your choice. The person who helped me was amazing . Hope you enjoy as much as I did! Highly recommended! (Delivered by Door Dash)

Mel S.

Yelp
BBQ is usually good here - ordered 2 baked potatoes, the potatoes were barely warm. The Brisket House should attempt to put some pride in the food they serve, shame on them for taking my money and giving me something mediocre. If you're looking for a good BBQ baked potato, look elsewhere.

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
Food is still somewhat tasty but don't expect a lot on your plate for considerably high prices. I just had a $15 chicken plate that left me starved. Completely disappointed.
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
The Brisket House is one of my "GO TO's" whenever I'm in Houston. Their brisket is consistently great! I especially like how it's trimmed tight, but just enough fat left for flavor. I've never had a dry cut.
google avatar

Yelp
(From August 2020) A fine BBQ joint and one of the better ones in Houston. I was dying for food after a long bike ride and made a stop to get some BBQ. Went with a two meat platter (Brisket & Chicken) + two sides (potato salad, Mac & cheese). Also got an order of beef ribs and a banana pudding. The brisket was moist and tender, definitely restored my faith in Texas brisket. Chicken wasn't bad either. Potato salad was serviceable although not as good as other spots. Mac and cheese was tasty as I expected. Now for the beef ribs, it's one of the finest pieces of meat I've had. Juicy and smoky, it's what defines Texas BBQ. Don't use utensils, it was meant to be eaten by hand and off the bone! Of course I saved room for the banana pudding as I had to have sweets to compliment the meats. It was an excellent finish to the meat sweats with the wafers and banana cream. There's other BBQ places on my radar but this one has made my rotation when I'm in the mood for Texas meats! Might've ordered too much for one person but my appetite and taste buds have no regrets!

Therese W.

Yelp
I used to love bbq brisket at this location but not this time. It's so dry like it's been days old. Maybe 1960 location is better now. So dissappointed.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
Brisket house is pretty good for a neighborhood BBQ place. I usually order online so I can scoop my brisket potato for lunch. The past two times I've ordered I've had to wait for my food. It's weird because I'm the only customer in there. I think they may wait until you arrive to prepare your meal. For some that's okay but for me it's inconvenient. I usually get wet brisket which is flavorful and the bbq sauce is good as well.

Dana L.

Yelp
Food quality & small portions don't justify the prices Ribs were chew and rubbery to the point I sent my rib plate (3 ribs) back after only a few bites and replaced I was a small portion of pulled pork which was dry and barely edible. I only ate 1/2 of the he pulled pork and gave the other 1/2 to my friend to take home with her leftovers The barbecue sauce was very runny & tasted watered down so maybe husband, friend & I didn't like it Cole slaw was dry and not creamy at all. All 3 of us agreed on the Cole slaw. The backed beans, macaroni & cheese and green beans were barely decent and edible. The best of our 3 meals besides the white sandwich bread and pickle slices. If I could give 0 stars I would. Especially after my friend & I both got sick with severe stomach issues hours later after eating lunch there. The only meal we ate that day. Food is the worst barbecue the 3 of us have ever had l with smaller portions and more expensive than most barbecue restaurants Never again! Just hope my husband doesn't get sick or my friend & I end up in the ER this evening. It stomach issues continue m. OTC meds and drinks t to prevent dehydration no help at all. Yes, I'm in the restroom sick as I type this review I will post on other social media platforms to try and prevent others from wasting their money on this horrible, sickening, expensive food and hopefully prevent others from getting sick and waste their money and time at this restaurant

Great food a great variety of sides. Highly recommended. We had plenty of great food for our family gathering.

Yelp
The brisket sandwich was amazing, and the staff were super friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
This place hits the spot! My general BBQ preferences are: - beef ribs (my top spot: Killen's) - moist - not lean - brisket (fav: Rudy's, and not Spring Creek's, Roegel's, or Goode's) - good sausage: taught skin, juicy inside, and spicy - with some spicy pickled carrots/cherry peppers and sliced onion I hadn't had BBQ in awhile so I decided to give this a place a try. Ordered through DoorDash and delivered in 40 mins - nice. It seems that this place no longer has beef ribs or at least doesn't have them daily. The prices listed below are prices via DoorDash - not sure whether they're different from the store menu's. I got: - An order (1/3 lb) of jalapeno sausage, $6 - A 1/2 lb order of pork ribs, $9 - A double meat plate, which comes with two sides: brisket and ribs with green beans and baked potato salad, $16.50 Subtotal: $31.50 for two people. I got the double meat place for "science" to compare values. I didn't weigh any of my orders, but the 1/2 lb pork ribs had 5 ribs. The plate gave me 3 slices of brisket and 2 pork ribs. Based on that, I'd say the plate had about 1/2 lb of meat total, approx 1/4 lb each. Given the brisket by itself is $11 for 1/2 lb, and I already mentioned the pork rib price, the value of the meat I got from the plate at 1/4 lb each would be around $10 ($5.50 brisket + $4.50 ribs). Based on that, for me, at least, the $6.50 for the sides is definitely not worth it. The funny thing is that the baked potato salad that some rave about cannot be ordered by itself as a side and can only be ordered as a part of the plate (via DoorDash, anyway). So I was okay to give this double meat plate a try - and I am confident not to get their sides in the future. The baked potato salad was WAY too heavy on mayo (to the point that it was tangy, not from any mustard but just from the mayo), and the green beans, while they looked good with meat bits, tasted like they had some sort of MSG or artificial seasoning. Not a fan. I also wish they had better pickled vegetables. The pickles they include are sliced cafeteria pickles. I appreciated the sliced onion, though, and the 2-4 slices of decent bread per order. The sausage also will not be a repeat purchase for me. It was okay on texture but a bit on the dry side and somewhat flat on flavor. I also didn't taste any spiciness. It's perfectly fine to snack on, but at $18/lb, I'd much rather get the Kiolbasa from Costco and grill it myself. This review so far sounds more critical than I mean, so let's get to the good part: the meat! The brisket is beautifully moist. It has some fat to trim but not a lot, and it's perfectly seasoned - really doesn't need any sauce. I really liked this. On that note: some people are sauce fanatics, and I generally don't care much for it. Some of the Killen's sauces are pretty good, but I don't like Rudy's sauce, and I didn't care for the Brisket House's sauce, either - too vinegar-tangy for me. (This is probably also because my aunt makes the best dang bbq sauce by miles - it's rare that something can be that much better, and the best comparison I can give you is store-bought mayo vs. fresh homemade. Yeah, incomparable. Anyway, I digress.) As you can probably guess, I don't hold it against them for not having amazing sauce - their meat is good by itself. And the punch line to sum it up: Brisket House has the best pork ribs I've had in Houston. That may not be saying much because I've only had bbq at the five aforementioned places, but suffice it to say none of their pork ribs have been marked as repeat purchases for me, yet Brisket House's with its fat cooked off without drying out the meat established itself as a solid repeat item. In short: 4 stars for its availability to appear at my doorstep in 40 mins and delicious brisket, plus an extra star for the notable pork ribs. Next time, I would just get a pound of brisket and 1/2 lb of pork ribs - still for $31.

Had read good reviews and got the three-meat platter (brisket, ribs and pulled pork). Brisket and pork were both really dry. Ribs were solid. Sauce was good.
