The Bronte Garden Hotel

The property and especially the gardens were beutiful. The staff very gentle and helpfull.Nice restaurant and bar were you can have some snacks with your drink or small plates. Very quiet, very friendy. My relatives in Harare had also heard good words.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful garden grounds and a good breakfast. Bed was comfy and pillows were fine. Air con in room and they provide mosquito spray and cream if needed. Lovely staff and a quiet location that’s still local. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

In the Avenues, just out of town. this hotel looks charming. Unfortunately, not consistent. Rooms are adequate, breakfast was shoddy, would rather stay in a lodge in the suburbs where you feel safe. Been twice, first trip was great, second was terrible.

Lovely setting, but disappointing service. Came in for breakfast - after booking friends in, shortage of items, no buffet like before and charged full price for half the breakfast. When enquiring from the manager, who arrived in a t shirt, we were told we had to still pay full price. Unfortunately the standard of this hotel has dropped badly. Breakfast cost over R300 per person. Not a cheap shot.

The Bronte was a lovely, peaceful place to stay, with outstanding service and great food. I couldn't recommend it more highly. It's a delightful place to come back to after a long day's work, especially because of the tranquility and beauty of the gardens. It's an oasis in Harare. They have a great restaurant menu, excellent buffet breakfasts (with the best croissants outside of France), and a all-day casual menu. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.

Unexpectedly spent 2 nights here, due to car having to be fixed.|An oasis and haven in central Harare. Great service, clean rooms, nice restaurant and best of all the beautiful garden setting. A hotel with real character, would definitely recommend.

Booked for Sunday breakfast but very over priced. Recently their breakfast was a buffet style but today brought from the kitchen. No sauté potatoes, no hake. Ordered poached eggs but got fried. 1 small piece of bacon. $16. That’s R300 absolutely not worth it.

The best hotel in Harare. I spent 10 wonderful days in the hotel. The surroundings are charming, parking, security, 1 minute to the shopping center but also a very quiet area. The service is at the highest level, all staff are very nice and helpful, the food is wonderful (especially breakfast) and the cleaning service is polite, super fast and very thorough. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. thank you to the whole staff for making my stay pleasant
