The Bryn at Capel

Fab venue - booked it for a weekend for exclusive use for a big birthday celebration. We ordered kegs in and loved the novelty of pulling our own pints. Owners super friendly and full of great recommendations- we booked their recommended chef one of the nights. Just a shame the Welsh weather meant we couldn’t make the most of being at the foot of some fabulous mountain walks. But we’ll certainly be back whatever the weather!

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better property. We had exclusive use so had access to all facilities, the bedroom and en suite facilities were modern and spotless, the kitchen well equipped to cater for large groups and the pub and games room a fantastic addition. The large garden was also well equipped for outdoor cooking with a spectacular view. The location was also great for exploring the local area and perfect for anyone looking to do one of the snowdon trails. We will definitely be looking to return.

Had a lovely weekend here! Rooms were comfy with a lovely view. Great location for Snowdon etc and the owners were really friendly and accommodating! Would stay again. It’s possible to book out the whole place if you have a large group it would be fun as the common areas are brilliant

A well-located self-service hotel right in the heart of Snowdonia – the ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of hiking. The hotel offers all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay, including a spacious kitchen, a pool table, and a cozy lounge area. Breakfast was a nice touch too, with yoghurt topped with forest fruits and nuts, alongside toast with marmalade. A great place to chill and recharge between adventures!

This has been one of the best places I've stayed in Wales, Location of this place and the view it's not the only things that are great about this place of course it's really handy to be so close to all the lakes and the summit with great view from your room and bar window. There is so much to this place, the owner it's lovely and so kind, the place has industrial kitchen with all the jazz cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and dryer and fridge freezers. There are 3 rooms that you can use, game room which has pool table and football table, board games. Room 2 cinema room and finally room 3 with massive bar/ dinner also hotel rooms are so clean and tidy. Honestly what a great place if you ever want to stay near the snowdonia Summit book this place.

Stayed here with family and friends, 17 in total, mix of adults and kids and we all had a great time. Nice en suite rooms and having your own bar/pub is a real novelty. There are lots of communal spaces that includes a large lounge/ cinema room that we used for a great evening of Karaoke. The kitchen is an ex commercial one that is well kitted out if you like cooking for large groups. The local area is really nice with some lovely walks in all directions. We also paid for a keg of beer which was another novelty and great to have. They are dog friendly, we took our German Shepard and she loved the walks. The owners are really nice. Would recommend..

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bryn Tyrch and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The location is fantastic, offering convenient access to nearby attractions, and the added bonus of free parking made our stay even more hassle-free. Our room boasted a stunning river view, adding a serene and picturesque element to our stay. Neil and Cooper, the hosts, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome. One aspect I particularly appreciated about Bryn Tyrch was its unique business model. The setup, where guests sleep upstairs while enjoying a wealth of communal spaces downstairs, is brilliant. It’s like having your own living room, game room, dining room, and kitchen. Overall, Bryn Tyrch offers an excellent blend of comfort, location, and hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
