Rude staff. They seemed to forget who the paying customers were and had an arrogant, couldn’t be bothered approach. ||Food was nothing out of the ordinary and very expensive for the quality. Had far better meals elsewhere locally. ||Overall a disappointing evening. Certainly wouldn’t recommend or return.

We had a lovely romantic couples lunch for a birthday on a Monday, so the pub was about half full for lunch. We had a lovely array of dishes, and were welcomed warmly by the knowegable staff who knew what was on both the drinks and food menu, as well as what to recommend. A lovely setting to treat a loved one, with beautiful scenery around.

This is a very overrated pub, with abysmal service provided by obnoxious, woke staff, rude individuals who left us waiting for ages. When the food came, it was very poor, cold, and bland. Do Not Visit Here, you will regret it. Much better pubs and restaurants elsewhere. It appears you are not welcome !!!

had planned to book a table - then I heard about the refusal to serve the VP of the USA - shameful. Changed my plans - will never visit the Bull. Keep out of politics - stick to food and good service would be my advice.

Rooms: |On entering the room you think this looks nice but then it goes downhill. |There are no wardrobes, no rails, no hangers, nowhere to hang clothes. Not great. |The bedroom is open plan to the ‘bathroom’ / toilet etc, so no privacy. (Why not curtain off that area). |The street view rooms only have full heavy curtains at the windows . Draw them and the room is very dark. Open them and you have no privacy. Net curtains, not cool but would be good. |There’s no fridge or bottled water. Just a jug of tap water. Nice biscuits though. ||No TV just a radio.||Not good enough for nearly £400 a night, ||Restaurant: ||Too dark, too noisy and generally not a great experience.|Quirky menu that needs explaining because the information given is minimal. Need a torch to read it. Staff have to explain everything but that’s not easy when the music is so loud. Sure, they will turn it down if asked but that’s not the point. ||Why not just include a better description on the printed menu. ||They really do need to look at it all from the customer point of view and not trying to be so ‘cool ‘ and different all the time. ||Food not that great either and expensive.||Popular with a young, cool and presumably wealthy set. Some would like that because it's buzzy but in reality with loud music thumping out it's all too LOUD. Difficult to have a conversation, so on a busy night forget the idea of a cosy chat.||Could be so much better with more attention given to the customer experience in the accommodation and the restaurant. ||Since staying there I’ve read their press reviews and social it all sounds good or at least the PR is, and you can sort of get the owners ethos and how they see the modern pub ( a ‘bar’ would be a better word) but the reality is it’s not as good as the hype. ||On the plus side the young staff are really nice and obviously well trained.

booked a table, staff could not find out booking, young snotty staff, food was nothing special, nice pub shame about the staff, will not be returning, so many other great places.

I have eaten here twice the food and atmosphere was just OK but now that they won't let the Vice President of my Country eat there I am never eating there again!

6 of us went for lunch. The service was really good, staff very friendly and helpful. We did have some fussy diners but the staff did their best to accommodate. The weather was great, so was lovely to enjoy the sunshine. Food was really tasty, enjoyed the Korean bites. The portion sizes were big. The chicken Milanese and the lemon sole were double the size they needed to be. The meat portion could have been halved and vegetables / potatoes provided in its place. Would recommend.
