The Bull - Beaumaris (Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Keep an eye out for the old water clock and ducking stool in the bar of this characterful 1670s coaching inn. Bedrooms in the main house are named after Dickens characters and are traditional; those in the townhouse are more modern and colourful. The former stables house the restaurant." - Tablet Hotels

We had a wonderfull time at the Bulls Head Inn last week. Lovely hotel, with nice rooms and wonderfull staff to sort any problem you may encounter. The food is excellent, I love their fish & Chips and they are dog friendly. Our Charlie looked forward to meeting Holly again, as we been before but not stayed there then. All staff are friendly and very helpfull. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering visiting Anglessey (Beaumaris). I am sure we will be back next year. Thank you to all the staff there for a lovely experience.

Not stayed in Beaumaris for a couple of years and previously always stayed here. I am sad to say that standards have dropped significantly since my last visit 2 years ago. The bathroom in my bedroom in the Townhouse was probably the grubbiest hotel bathroom I have ever experienced! The grouting was pretty much black all the way around the bath area. I just had a quick shower each morning however there was no way I could have enjoyed a bath surrounded by this! The restaurant floor was not hoovered/ swept for the 2 days and looked unclean and covered in bits/ the restaurant menu was on the floor under my table. I joined the loyalty scheme and although great to receive a 10% discount it didn’t count for a nice room. I can’t imagine the hotel had much worse rooms than mine. Staff were friendly and front room nicely refurbished. Only ate breakfast which was ok. Good quality sausages on 1st morning however cheap and nasty on our 2nd morning. Such a shame as used to be so good

Excellent three night stay in the indigo room. Room was very clean and comfortable, but if you’re over five feet eight inches tall beware the ceiling light hanging by the window, just the right height for heading practice. Ate in the restaurant all three nights, food was excellent, good quality and piping hot. Breakfasts were equally good, probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. I can’t praise the staff enough, couldn’t do enough for us and always with a smile. I must single out Holly for her patience and service, how you can be that pleasant and helpful towards the end of a twelve hour shift is beyond me. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again when in the area.

What's more to say, good food, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Hey eating outside can be an issue, seagull problem, but that's normal for these places. In sum we had great food, dogs were welcomed and looked after and a nice little soujorn on our day out.

What a fall from grace! Was last here2 years ago and had a brilliant meal! Last night I took my young family there and have never had to complain and leave an establishment, before even been served our main before! Staff are friendly and trying, but are woefully under trained and under staffed! Food quality is very poor for the price point! Hopefully they can sort going forward as it’s a great building in a great spot!

A really nice pub in a great location. We were in a 'cottage room' which was rustic but comfortable. Food was pretty good and the staff were excellent. The place was considerably quieter than expected, even more so as there was a singer with a decent sized crowd.

Came for a few drinks with friends of an evening. Staff were very friendly and very helpful when recommending menu items and drinks. The Bull Inn is definitely worth a visit if you ever pass through Beaumaris. Whether you’re local or on holiday ❤️
