The Bull - Beaumaris (Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Keep an eye out for the old water clock and ducking stool in the bar of this characterful 1670s coaching inn. Bedrooms in the main house are named after Dickens characters and are traditional; those in the townhouse are more modern and colourful. The former stables house the restaurant." - Tablet Hotels

After working a half day on Sunday, I fancied treating myself to a roast dinner. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend recently. The trio roast dinner was priced at £22.95, very reasonable. So a quarter of an hour later it was brought to my table by a young waitress. The restaurant was moderately busy, I chose a quiet area.||||The restaurant was well lit, cosy and peaceful. The oval plate had two Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, parsnip, carrot, swede and cauliflower. Also the plate had stuffing, beef, pork, turkey, gravy, roast potatoes and three pigs in blankets! The meal was fit for a king, a right feast. I opted for apple sauce and a pint of Guinness as my drink of choice. Excellent meal and great staff.

We came for dinner. My parents and my dogs. we have a rescue dog who is very nervy and can be loud and anxious around other dogs and people. The gentleman helped us find a corner table, he was attentive and the staff were faultless. Very excellent service. The food was fabulous too - proper home cooked chips and I don’t have a big appetite so they let me order from the children’s menu which was plenty for myself. Thank you guys. The pub part is also lovely and staff very friendly. We had an afternoon in the pub earlier which enticed us to come for dinner here as we were so impressed. Lovely people and lovely food. Must visit! 5STARS. 🤩

We had a lovely stay at The Bull’s Head Inn - situated in a historical building and also ideally placed to explore Beaumaris. ||The family room we stayed at was spacious and nicely furnished. The breakfast was nice and the hot food was cooked to order. We also enjoyed our dinner and drinks in the restaurant. ||The servers were all helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended!

Good experince. But could be done better, Paid £384 for two nights. Breakfast included, which to be fair was good. Room was ok after the epic stair journey and dodging beams. Pipes very noisy when turning on taps, under floor hearing non exsistant. Free standing bath looked great, overall room was nice but a bit dated. A nice touch would have been a bottle of wine and a late check out for the price. Staff i couldnt knock very polite, Beaumaris itself is lovely well worth another visist.

What a fall from grace! Was last here2 years ago and had a brilliant meal! Last night I took my young family there and have never had to complain and leave an establishment, before even been served our main before! Staff are friendly and trying, but are woefully under trained and under staffed! Food quality is very poor for the price point! Hopefully they can sort going forward as it’s a great building in a great spot!

Came here for lunch on a very stormy Friday. Food was great (club sandwich with chips, and hummus and tomato sourdough). The fire was very welcome and the staff were lovely.

What's more to say, good food, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Hey eating outside can be an issue, seagull problem, but that's normal for these places. In sum we had great food, dogs were welcomed and looked after and a nice little soujorn on our day out.
