The Bundanoon Guest House

We had a brilliant weekend at the Bundanoon Guest House, Lucy and Tim, our hosts, were exceptional. So comfortable and a great breakfast, lots of great walks locally. Many thanks guys, we'll be back. Cheers Simon and Ros

This is our second visit to the Bundanoon Guest House and both visits have been amazing. Tim & Lucy are amazing hosts and do everything possible to make your stay the best it possibly can be. For our second visit we took a group of 30 people in our walking group and every single person thoroughly enjoyed it. As well as the great accommodation we were treated to an excellent three course dinner and Lucy put in extra effort to dress the table beautifully.

Recently stayed here while attending a wedding in a nearby Southern Highlands town and can't recommend it enough. I've always wanted to stay in a proper traditional B&B and finally fulfilled this wish at The Bundanoon Guest House. The House itself is spacious, romantic, charming and full of character, with gorgeous decor and interesting antiques and collectibles in every corner of every common room. I took lots of photos! The House and gardens look like the set of a Nancy Meyers movie. Tim and Lucie were incredible hosts, friendly and attentive. Check in/out with Tim was easy and informative, and Lucie's breakfasts each morning were delicious and kept us full each day until dinnertime, thus saving us $ on lunches. Our King Spa suite room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed (FYI - no TV in the room - but I prefer it that way as don't care for TV). Parking was convenient and right beside our private entryway. Bundanoon's centre with cafes and restaurants is just a 5-7 min walk away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. This is a great little town with heaps of history and set in a spectacular location. Lots of national parks to explore, great accommodation with great food and a good selection of drinks Slightly off the beaten track but like a lot of these places, that's what makes it special

A lovely, well-kept guest house with beautiful gardens. On-site parking was easy, and check-in was quick. Our King Spa ensuite room was beautifully presented, with a convenient door that led directly to the car park. My only suggestion would be for a shelf above the sink to place toiletries. (I placed them on the edge of the spa bath.) The common areas were comfortable and and cosy, with plenty of magazines and books about the local area. There were amenities for all guests to use including two TVs, a fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine, cups, plates and cutlery. The pool table was an unexpected bonus. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, which was tasty and filling. Hosts Tim and Lucie were personable and helpful with local knowledge. The guest house is located opposite the train line, and while you can hear trains passing it isn't loud or intrusive. Shops and restaurants are located about a ten minute walk down the road. We found the guest house to be a well-located base to explore the area, away from the bustle of the larger towns. Would recommend and return for another visit.

What a wonderful experience from the welcome when we first arrived.|The guest house was just wonderful, bought me back to my childhood with the lounges and hallways decorated in an era gone by to the modern rooms totally renovated with comfortable and linens (including electric blankets).|We were there for the Brigadoon weekend the guest house was decorated in the Scottish way, which was just lovely.|The dinner on the Saturday night was fun and delicious. Piped in the haggis, which was tastefully prepared with mashed potato and swede|Highly recommended

Stayed here apart of a work trip and it was amazing! The rooms are awesome and Lucy, Tim and David were great hosts!
