The staff was exceptional! Allie was the best hostess!! The food was great and they took great care of us!! The rooms were clean, though a bit dark for us, and the air conditioner was very loud. My friends had great water pressure in their rooms, but ours was not good at all. I loved the homeyness of the place, and the family atmosphere. I would love to see more lighting for groups that want to play games at night. All in all, great place!!

A gem of a place: cozy, clean, with a well-mantained pool that is bigger than it appears in photos. A fresh hot breakfast under a palapa surrounded by lush foliage completes the impression you have arrived at a refuge from the chaos of Cabo. Even driving at night, it's easy to find - basically at the end of highway 1. But the true gleam of this gem lies in the manager, Alé. When I called in desperation late at night because my reservation at the Hampton Inn was not honoured, she not only offered me a room at the usual rate, but warmly welcomed me when I finally arrived after midnight. She is a gracious master of the lost art of hospitality. If I ever return to Cabo, this would be my first choice, and you won't regret making it yours.

Everything is perfect, the pool is sparkling clear, and the ladies of the kitchen make the best breakfast I've ever had. And Alle, the manager is always so gracious, and you get to hear her talking to and feeding the birds. I've never been so spoiled

My husband and I just stayed five nights here. It was amazing. Allie and her staff are amazing and make you feel right at home. The room we had was so comfortable and inviting. It has everything you need for your stay. The pool is refreshing and you feel like you are in a tropical oasis. And don’t even get me started on the delicious breakfast that is served every morning. From the fruit, smoothies, eggs Benedict… etc. The Bungalows are a hidden little slice of heaven.

We enjoyed our stay at the bungalows hotel! Highlights are their exceptional environment/service and superb breakfast. Rooms are clean and spacious, Ale always give the best recommendations on restaurants and fun activities. Highly recommended

The Bungalows is tucked away about a mile from the beach and Marina. It is very convenient to walk and also take Uber (which is ridiculously inexpensive). ||As mentioned in other reviews, Ally welcomes you with a hug and everything from smoothies to fruit to breakfast to accommodations are excellent and makes you wish you could extend your stay indefinitely.||There is a bodega 1.5 blocks away if you need anything (7-11 type Oxxo market). There are at least 4 top rated restaurants within walking distance that we ate at plus 3 more we didn't get to on this trip. Please try Casa Martin, Brasa Viva, Tres Rayas, and Zoco. There is an Argentian street food and another Mexican food place on the same street we didn't make it to that are also top rated. It really is a great area!||Once inside the gate at The Bungalows, it really is an oasis with a welcoming pool and lush greenery that several species of birds call home. Our room had a patio with several hammocks to relax and take in the sounds and the nice breeze. It was not too hot as we were there March 31-April 6 so the humidity did not kick in yet.||All of Ally's staff were very helpful and the other guests we interacted with mainly families from Canada were all chill and engaging. I really enjoyed this stay much more than the first time I went and stayed in the resort corridor. It is much nicer to stay here away from all the chaos but only a short $4.50 uber to go to Medano beach and get a massage at The Sandbar and hang out at SUR next door and have a nice lunch or head over to the Marina for a water taxi to Lover's and Divorce beaches. ||It was a great trip, and we are hoping to get back to The Bungalows within a year's time.

This property is a true hidden gem in the heart of Cabo San Lucas—perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, the Marina, and all the main attractions. But what truly sets it apart is the genuine warmth of Aletse and her entire team. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are beautifully designed, and the Mexican artwork throughout adds a special touch. I booked the room with the hammock and loved relaxing with the cool ocean breeze. Aletse was incredibly accommodating with our check-out time, and her hospitality, along with that of her staff, made the place feel like home. They truly redefined what great hospitality means. I highly recommend staying here—now I know exactly where I’ll be booking on my next trip to Cabo. Cheers!

Where do I even start?! My husband and I just returned from a stay at The Bungalows after a 17 year break, and it was even better than we remembered. This hidden gem is as magical and perfect as all the reviews claim! The beautiful, tropical landscape, the gorgeous pool, the 5-star gourmet breakfasts with delicious coffee, the rooms with a kitchenette, hammock, and the softest linens imaginable, the perfect location walking distance to downtown Cabo...it's simply the best. But the shining star of The Bungalows is the innkeeper, Ale. She is the most authentic, welcoming, passionate, beautiful person you will have the pleasure to meet and know. She has a heart of gold and LOVES to shower her guests with hospitality. In the short time I spent with her this week, I know I made a friend for life. I cannot wait to go back!!
