The Bungalows Hotel

This super cute old world Mexico hidden secret was our favorite surprise of our whole trip to the Cabo area! Ale was our host and made us feel so at home the moment we arrived. We were invited to have a delicious cold glass of hibiscus tea and a very quick check in - under 5 min. The biggest surprise was the superb tasting and presented breakfasts every morning. Great fast service with a smile in the beautiful garden room right off the pool area and fresh fruit and smoothies to go with the gormet french toast, Burritos and banana pancakes. The gardens were like a magnificent well cared for jungle and we loved watching all the birds in the morning as we had our coffee. Our room was clean, quiet and simple. We walked to the Marina area, the ATM and a very good resteraunt called Yerba Santa with the best margarita I have ever had in my life! We highly recommend this little hidden jewel and absolutely will stay here on our next trip to Cabo.

Absolutely incredible experience! Very serene and quiet hotel, walking distance to the center but not close enough to hear it. The hotel manager was so helpful and kind, recommending restaurants and various locations. Fresh made breakfast each morning with singing birds, good conversation and great company. I loved my experience in this beautiful hotel and would prefer it over any all-inclusive hotel. I will be sure to book my next stay at the same place to ensure that my vacation is truly relaxation at its best! Muchas gracias familia Bungalow!

Loved it as much as the others who wrote reviews. Would stay here again. Stayed for 3 nights and my husband and I were the only ones who swam in the pool. We met a very nice couple at breakfast and chatted each day. Met a very sweet young family as well. Delicious coffee with breakfast. Plenty of beautiful birds to watch while waiting for breakfast

The staff was exceptional! Allie was the best hostess!! The food was great and they took great care of us!! The rooms were clean, though a bit dark for us, and the air conditioner was very loud. My friends had great water pressure in their rooms, but ours was not good at all. I loved the homeyness of the place, and the family atmosphere. I would love to see more lighting for groups that want to play games at night. All in all, great place!!

Been coming to Cabo for decades and am blessed to find this incredible boutique hotel that is up on a hill away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the marina in about 15 mins. An uber back is only $5 but well worth it so you don’t have to do the uphill walk. Ali, the innkeeper, is magnificent to the eyes and heart. She is a genuinely lovely person and you can tell by her warm hugs and beautiful smile. She and here entire team keep the property immaculate! It is an absolute oasis of calm and beautiful greenery and birdsongs! Please don’t miss Casa Martin for dinner across the street. Not only is the scenery absolutely phenomenal but the food is just as excellent. It’s a beautiful lively environment with many locals and amazing music. Be sure to dress up because it is a little fancy and folks are often in their celebrating special occasions. Reservations are a great idea. One block away is an OXXO market that is super convenient for snacks and drinks. The neighborhood in general is lovely, with a few different small local restaurants. Down the hill just a few blocks is Joe’s Garden that opens at night for the most fantastic pizza you’ve ever had and absolutely the best prices in all of Cabo!!! Such a treat. The Natural History Museum is also just a few blocks away as you head down to the Marina. Note: Please be courteous of other guests while you are at the pool. Save your phone calls for a private area. Also be sure to observe to make 10pm to 10am quiet time.

Place was cute and close enough to walk to town every day. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. BUT if you are a light sleeper at all DO NOT get the hammock suite on the second floor. The neighbors dogs bark ALL night. The air conditioner is loud and turns on and off a lot. Sirens going, and car alarms were a nightly occurrence. Because of this, I dont think we will be back.

A gem of a place: cozy, clean, with a well-mantained pool that is bigger than it appears in photos. A fresh hot breakfast under a palapa surrounded by lush foliage completes the impression you have arrived at a refuge from the chaos of Cabo. Even driving at night, it's easy to find - basically at the end of highway 1. But the true gleam of this gem lies in the manager, Alé. When I called in desperation late at night because my reservation at the Hampton Inn was not honoured, she not only offered me a room at the usual rate, but warmly welcomed me when I finally arrived after midnight. She is a gracious master of the lost art of hospitality. If I ever return to Cabo, this would be my first choice, and you won't regret making it yours.

Aletse was a great hostess. Knows the area and activities. Breakfast each day was great. The facility and the swimming pool was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
