Our Family of 4 stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment pod in August 2020 for 3 nights. The price was fantastic for the style of room and amenities. It was a home away from home. The manager, Mandy, is amazing. She went over and above to help us with anything and everything. It is unfortunate that the unit was so close to the busy mountain access road and that construction of the new building is in progress. Crews worked from 7am to about 4pm. I also didn't realize that the Village is a 2.5 KM drive away. I think the Ski in ski out access is ideal with the lifts across the road, but walking to the village in summer is a bit of a LONG walk, so we had to drive. We enjoyed a late afternoon paddle board at Heffley Lake. As well as Downhill mnt biking at sunpeaks. This was a very safe and enjoyable Covid vacation. We cooked our meals in and the kitchen is well stocked.

Stayed here over Christmas 2018 in double room, which was much like a small flat. It had great cooking facilities in the room and also a really nice bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfy and had a big TV which you could log into Netflix on. Also nice communal lounge, although didn't need to use this as room was cosy to hang out in in the evening. Ski storage room was also very handy, however good idea to take a ski key lock (skikey.com) with you to use, otherwise you will have to pay to hire one for the week, didn't seen optional. Staff were lovely, very helpful and knowledgable. Burfield lift was 5 min walk away and bus stop also. Great place to stay, much recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here. Building looked nice and the room was clean and modern. The kitchenette was well stocked with pans and cooking utensils. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. It is a bit further out of the village but there is a bus that stops nearby. I didn't use it however as we chose to drive in to the village at night to head out for dinner. I imagine you can sometimes get a hotel in the village for a similar price so needs to stay competitive. This was marginally cheaper during our stay, but the kitchenette was worth having.

Great place to stay. Away from the main "village" so it's a lot quieter. Saw some deer one evening. We were upgraded to the larger 1 bedroom one unit. Very spacious and clean. Unfortunately no a/c, but it's cool with the windows open and I don't see that being a problem in the winter! Underground parkade is a bit tight but I suspect there will be surface parking once the 2nd apartment building it completed. In the winter it's literally across the street from one of Sun Peak's chairlifts.

Our family of five stayed for two nights and we had a great stay. The front desk person-Mandy was very accommodating and friendly. The place was very clean. It takes about 15-20 mins to walk from the hotel to the village. The bunks were very comfortable but it needs an ac/electric fan during summertime. Overall our stay at Burfield was excellent.

Stayed in the Burfield for a month and had a great stay. Clean and modern suites with everything you need. Mandy who runs the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Lots of measures for coronavirus were in place and we felt really safe. The only reason I haven't put a five is the location isn't the best, a good 30 minute walk to the village and the room was super hot with the window not being able to open all the way. These things wouldn't be a problem in Winter. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Not quite open fully yet, but from what I saw the plane is impressive. Good quality structure and furnishings, great facilities and a nice overall layout. The way it's set up can accommodate pretty much any group, or individuals, in any size room/dorm. It's not huge though, so I guess you'll need to book early to get the right room for you. Location wise it's great for ski access, but about a 20 minute walk into the main village.

Hmmm, I debated between the Sun Peaks village and The Burfield, and even again between the Queen Pod and a Private Suite. In the end I took a Queen Pod at The Burfield. Check-in was great, a really personal walk through of the property, the room, the ski storage room, the car garage and all the analogue and digital locks. Lots of great detailed information given about places in the village and pick up pre booked lift tickets at the Burfield chairlift across the road. The staff are super friendly. My room was exactly as the web pictures depict, no complaints. My con was the noise transfer from the room above, footfall, bangs, voices. While it did not go late into the evenings, I have to be honest about it, otherwise what is the point of these reviews. A lot would depend on the guests at the time and the room you had. I wanted to love it but due to that I just liked it. Ideally any room on the top, 3rd floor, would be ideal. It's worth a stay. A unique location.
