Second Vist was not great but I was willing to ignore the horrible service because the food at that time was eh….ok. Third and absolute LAST visit there were a ton flies! So much to the point that we relocated to another table to see if this would help. It did not! The manager, poor thing, came out with an old fashion fly swatter, 😆! It was kind of ridiculously funny yet not funny of course because there were so many flies within the restaurant! He got 1! But by then we were done and chose to take our burgers out! Should have just left without the burgers. My brioche bun was stale. My husband ate his burger and just the same as I, abruptly became terribly ill 🤢!! Overall, I hate to reduce my 5 ⭐️ review. However, getting food poisoning is not a good thing to ignore.

I went to Burger Barn over the summer for the first time. I ordered a blue fig burger and it was absolutely WONDERFUL. But what was even more wonderful was our waitress Gabby. She was super attentive without being overbearing. Im around her age and she made me feel very comfortable. I went there with my boyfriend and he got a sloppy poppy. He also enjoyed very much. Gabby explained everything clearly and knew the menu very well and gave great recommendations. (what we both ate). I went back this past week with my family, gabby unfortunately was not there but our server gina was also super sweet. Overall amazing experience, great food, and super amazing service!!!!!

After being turned away from Harvest Moon Farms, my girlfriend, her sisters and I were looking for a place to eat. We saw this place on the map and decided to give it a shot. I will say it's the BEST DECISION we made that day. We were immediately greeted by a server at the door who welcomed us in and held the door open. The woman at the front desk was training a new hire. They were very friendly and courteous! I was taken back at how friendly everyone who worked there was. It was like going back in time and experiencing genuine southern hospitality. Not only was the place welcoming and inviting, the burgers were delicious!! It's all made to order, and everything we had was as good as it could be. The burgers are $16.95 and are served with fries. That's a fair price in comparison to prices in NYC- where I live. They also have a full bar and 2 big screen TVs!! The waiter was very friendly and accommodating whenever I asked him for anything. If this place wasn't an hour and 20 mins away, I'd be there as a guest on the regular!! It's REALLY worth checking out of you're in that area!!

Great burgers, drinks, and beer. The wait staff was Great and attentive! 2nd time, there had the blue fig burger. What a combo! Delicious! 3rd time had the Sloppy Poppy. It was sloppy and delicious! 4th time had the Barn Burger and Sour Bourbon cocktail. Delicious and great!

Absolutely incredible. Drove over 2 1/2 hours to eat here. Would do it again. Incredible burgers. Fries are crispy and delicious. All ingredients fresh and amazing. Delicious meal. 12/10

Very nice spot!! We were in the area and i’m glad I stopped by. They were so nice to us since we asked to sit at first in the backyard, and then we moved back inside again, so thanks for being patient! and most importantly, the woman who greeted us at the door was so nice and respectful! Loved the burger, and the chicken wings were nice and crispy! we really enjoyed to have lunch there and would love to come back if i’m around again!

Low key place with a nothing-special atmosphere, but WOW, the food! Creative combos, like the Fig-Olive salad and Baked Goat Cheese. I don't eat bread, so they served my burger on top of the salad. Husband had a cheeseburger and said it was Perfectly prepared. Soooo good! Service was friendly with average wait time, but we'll be back for the food.

I had passed the Burger Barn many a time and always thought it was just another burger shop, but what a pleasant surprise to find I was wrong. I will most definitely be bringing friends and family here. The service was great. Incredibly friendly, and attentive. And it was pretty impressive in their use of headsets for efficiency. When we had a question about the menu, they simply pressed the microphone on headset and asked. They didn’t have to run to the kitchen and then come back with the response. We had the response immediately. You usually only see this in the city. There were four of us, and each person was happier than the next with their order. They had a good menu full of a variety of burgers (along with other options!). There aren’t many places that offer a salad with “baked” goat cheese anymore (must’ve been a fad!)so that was a pleasant surprise. They have a great avocado burger as well. The decor is inviting. Comfortable for families as well as those that just want to stop in at the bar for a drink and appetizer.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after apple picking! Was fairly empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately and our orders were taken. Food took about 15 min to arrive and at first it didn't look too appetizing but it definitely did hit the spot! Burgers & chicken sandwiches were cooked to our liking. Had a cute barn house like ambiance and the servers/owner were friendly :) can't go wrong with this place if you're looking for a good ol' American meal

randomly came here on a weekend around 5 and the place was empty! it had us nervous at first but then so many families began to pile in. the service was fast and friendly and the food was good and reasonably priced. we had the option to choose our sides and for mine I picked the truffle fries, which were okay, but they had so many options which felt nice and different from other places (esp since it's free of charge!!) the burger itself was juicy and fresh. def would come back if I was in the area - the food is also reasonably priced for a group of 4 the meal was less than $100!

2.5 stars; nice looking place, good parking, nice outdoors, decent beer selection and tight menu. Good: wings and pretzel app- really tasty. Burgers good Bad: grilled chicken sando was a horrible fatty mess and had weird flavors. Kids chicken fingers just not good. Fries we had seemed like we had end of a batch. Service - not good, server seemed lost and when she did serve us drinks they came one at a time. We also asked for our 3 year olds grilled cheese first with the apps but it came out after the last mains. Would pass on this place as other options around are better to try.

Went for lunch this afternoon and it was so good that I had to write a review about it. There was quite a few people there on a Thursday afternoon around 1pm. The place is cute, trendy and seems to be good for all age groups. They have a $17 lunch special, drink, burger and 2 sides. I had the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy and I paid extra for the onion rings. ;) It was the best burger I had in my life and I even tried my friend's fried pickles and they were awesome. The dipping sauce was good as well. I will definitely be back and this place is highly recommended!

I have eating here now 3 times and it is AWESOME! I have tried the blue cheese burger , pretzel burger , the barn burger and the sloppy poppy. Each one of these were absolutely delicious and filled with flavor! The meat was moist and not dried and it was fresh ! You could tell they keep their word with house made day of ! Their burgers are also house made - very good. Brussel sprouts were great , the jalapeño poppers are SO GOOD! Deff stop by here and try their burgers so worth it

We stopped in on our way from NYC to Cape Cod. Burgers were delicious, food overall was amazing. The service was great. We didn't have time to stick around, but it looks like a fun place to hangout, drink a beer and play trivia on certain nights.

This place has a great menu. Many "different" burgers to choose from as well as salads etc. Parking lot on both sides of restaurant. Nice lunch special and they hold "theme" nights - Trivia, etc. You'll enjoy!

Wow! Such a great restaurant with amazing staff. My sister, mom, niece and I came out for a nice dinner here. All the food was delicious and the staff was so kind. The restaurant is clean and family friendly. I love the decor. Very good! Highly recommend. We got the jalapeño poppers, Brussels sprouts, and all different burgers. Delicious.

Some changes from the first time I was here when they first opened. I like that the fries are no longer served in a little basket and are now on a platter with the burger. My husband got the onion soup which we both enjoyed and I started with onion rings - they were delicious. The burgers were good. Wasn't thrilled our water came in tall red plastic glasses. They felt creepy to me. Overall ok meal but an adult shouldn't be served a plastic cup.

Unfortunately, the food as well as the service have gone incredibly downhill. Will definitely not be returning anytime soon. Hopefully they get better staffing soon and can save the business before it's too late.

Yummy concoctions, a bit pricey, but the kids burger is really for tiny kids. My 5 year old inhaled his, ignored the fries, and needed a second burger! Staff is great, but I've noticed families are always nervous about their kids being too loud or rowdy. It's not just me; I've checked in with a few moms while they're there. There's free popcorn at the entrance in case you have to wait, and parking is ample.

Been a while since we were there. Last time there burgers were Bland. Figured why not give a second try. Same this time! All it would take would be to salt the patty before cookin. Furthermore, if you use a card to pay, they are adding 3.5% to your bill. Apparently, in this economy ($17.50 (bacon cheese) isn't enough of a profit. They are also passing on the credit card company fees!! I will not be going back.

Service was good. They had a lot of craft beer options on draft with multiple tvs in the bar. The burger was very filling with quite a few other options.

A great lunch spot for after a round of golf at Somers national. Great food in a somewhat smaller town. We ordered the burger salad, the chicken sandwich and the avocado bowl. Their veggie burger was indeed fresh and you could tell it was made in house. It was flavorful and not dry so a perfect combo. The burger was well cooked and the chicken was pretty good.

Family birthday dinner last week. We all had a variety of burgers and there was nary a bite left when we were done. I knocked down the review by a peg simply because our server was a constant presence. She was polite and nice but we didn't need her asking every 3-5 minutes how the food was. I appreciate when a server asks once but 4 times in a meal is a bit much. It's a very family atmosphere and we'll definitely be back.

Burger joint with mediocre burgers. We ordered three for our table and they were impressively bland. All three were ordered medium rare and came out medium. House fries are also bland and the ketchup at the table had a funky taste to it. Additionally we had a fly friend join us at the table for the majority of our meal. Oh and the mens restroom had hand sanitizer instead of hand soap at the sink which is just odd.

We were disappointed with the food. The french fries were served lukewarm and both burgers were overcooked- the medium rare one was medium well, and the burger requested medium was beyond well done. There is no excuse for that at a burger restaurant. The $14 cocktail was also quite weak. The service was good but we will probably not be back.

We haven't had such a poor dining experience in a long time. The food was just ok. French fries were ice cold on all of our meals. The French onion soup had to be returned because it tasted spoiled. Waitress brought out meals one at a time. The last meal took over ten minutes to be served after we all had received our food. The rest of our party was almost done eating. And I had to ask the server If the food was ever coming. No apology for the delay from the kitchen. The server never once came to ask if our meal was okay or if we needed anything. Once finished eating, we waited 15 minutes before getting up from the table to find the waitress again to ask for the check. There were three tables in the entire restaurant for lunch. Food is mediocre at best and the service is horrendous.

I have been to Burger Barn several times and never had any complaints. Food and service are pretty good, nothing spectacular but always good. They also have several different dining areas, including space for bigger groups. Parking is easy too.

Solid burgers, fries, and salads! The new Cluck Norris is really good too if you're looking for something other than a burger. Consistently good food

Took my family here for lunch after going to the flower farm and although I would love to give it 4 stars for the food I had to go with 2 due to the waitress and her very bad attitude. Once we got there we got seated at a corner dark area of the place mind you it was not packed at all only 1 table was being served in the nicer well lit area. The waitress took a very long time to ask us if we needed anything and when she finally did it was with the most disgusted look. I'm mexcian and I don't know if this was why she didn't like serving our family but she sure made the time uncomfortable she stared over a couple of times and then ignored the table. When she did bring stuff out I thanked her so did my girls and silence not a word came out of her mouth just eye rolls. Towards the end they sent another waitress to give us our bill (again the place was not full only 2 tables besides us at this point) we left and I saw her and said thank you because I was raised not to be rude and yet I got nothing. The food was good and I might give it a try again but I don't know if an almost $200 bill is worth service with a bad attitude or the uncomfortable feeling of I'm bothering the waitress.

I don't give 'em out often but yeah Burger Barn rocks it in all categories. EXCELLENT service, literally like a top restaurant. Absolutely solid home quality burger with all the right fixin's presented in the just the right way. Nice atmosphere with a full bar available. Strong recommend burgers deluxe or casual fare. Well done! (but medium rare please!) :)

Came here for dinner. We were promptly seat which we have a nice view of the water. Our waitress was Kim. She was nice and probably new. We ordered drinks and the fried avocado burger cooked Medium with side of truffle fries. The burgers came out more on the well done side, which there was no pink meat so that was a bummer. There should have been four fried avocado slices not two..two is lame. My bf didn't get the truffle fries he ordered so we hunted down another waiter who got our order fixed. Kim came over and apologized and said she forgets if she doesn't write it down (umm so write it down smh) and she also didn't ask how the burgers were . Then when the bill came she didn't give us the 91 cents so she said do you want your change because most people don't... we said no but come on give the person their change and let them decide what to do with it it's almost like a little scam to keep the change from every customer adds up to probably a couple extra bucks.

One of our favorites - we have yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu! If you love good burgers with crazy gourmet options this is the spot for you. The Cuban is a personal favorite, but definitely come on an empty stomach - this burger is the size of my head. Pretzel sticks and fried pickle apps are fantastic. Great beer selection and tasty desserts, if you ever have room to get that far! It can get busy during the dinner rush, but they have always been great about accommodating our large parties. Servers are extremely attentive and friendly!

The food was tasty. Prices were over market. As casual as casual can be. Nothing if you don't eat meat.

The food at this place is great and is very tasty. The food actually tastes like it's real. The burgers aren't loaded with a lot of fat and aren't processed junk to make it go farther like most other places. I got the fried avocado burger rice bowl this time and it was the best plate I've had at this place so far. The prices are ok.

Burgers which I had the mushroom one and wife had turkey burger and we orders a solid that had this toasted Brie cheese on it that was amazing Will definitely be back here

This has been our regular once-a-week-place pre-pandemic and since we've discovered take-out, still going here once a week during the pandemic. Their service is outstanding every time. Every server we've had has been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Our usual order is the Sloppy Poppy, and the Truffle Shuffle burgers, both medium. Their burgers consistently cooked with the right done-ness and come with a nice slice of pickle. Your options, though not advertised, is a side of fries, house salad with vinaigrette, or coleslaw with the burger. I agonize over giving them 4 stars because truly, they are a solid 4.5 in my book. Here are a few minor tweaks that could make them a perfect 5: - Go lighter with the red onions in the burger and a salad. A whole slice is too much. - Fries can be more crispy. Burgers definitely outshine the fries in taste and texture. Now that we order take-out, we usually do a quick 2-minute air fry of the fries them again at home. - Vinaigrette can be bit too sour and could be thinner. It's hard to drizzle over salad. Burger Barn's interior style and down-to-earth waitstaff are befitting of the "barn" name but their burgers are far from "barn" quality. They are the quality that you'd find if you ordered a burger at an upscale ~New American~ restaurant. When I feel comfortable dining in again, I can't wait to be able to chat with the bartenders and waitstaff, and compete in Trivia Night again. TIP: Ask for the Chipotle Mayo! You won't regret it.

My husband and I were looking for burgers and happen to drive right by. Hands down the best burger in a long time. My husband got the fig burger and I got an avocado burger bowl, which was beyond amazing. Highly recommend! Dog friendly as well!

Well you can call me crazy it first started with visiting croton dam & we stumbled upon this place with my bride who is fussy where she eats oh I forgot to tell you were from Nassau county Long Island well a month later back up there to eat again!! People forget upstate people are more relaxed then downstate people great service & if my wife made me drive all the way up there on a Sunday the food is great.

I've been meaning to try this out for years. Finally I stopped by after a quick loop on my motorcycle. It did not disappoint. The burger was flavorful and the pretzel sticks were great add ons. Service was good too. I told my family and we've grabbed it twice for takeout in the week since!

I popped in last night to order a quick burger for takeout for my burger loving son. They were very kind and promised to rush the order so I could make it home on time. My son gave the cheeseburger a 10 out of 10. The most he has rated a burger in the past month.

It's a nice place. Plenty of parking. The menu is nice and varied. Reading the menu is tough because it's on a dark brown background with the writing in a light tan. In a fully lit room it maybe easier but the night we went the lighting was subdued. We were two couples. Ordered drinks but they were delayed. I wanted a hamburger so badly and because I am gluten intolerant I asked if they had gluten free buns. The waiter checked and came back to say they did not have gluten free buns. This is annoying because many burger places do not have or use gluten free buns though they are readily available. We ordered appetizers and they were good- chicken wings and fried pickles( and did not eat these). The drinks came. They were good. So I couldn't eat a burger unless I wanted it bun less. I ordered a wedge salad. It was good but the honey mustard dressing was super sweet and thick like pancake syrup. Other than the super sweet dressing and the over riped avocados- they were super soft almost like mush- the salad was fine. Everyone else's meals were good though 2 of the people at the table didn't eat the fries because they didn't like them. Overall not bad but if you are gluten intolerant you won't find a gluten free bun here for your burgers.

Waitress was awful - she was so scattered, messed up our order, almost hope it was her first day. Draft beers tasted sooo bad - like they need to clean out their system. My arugula salad was defrosting when served - very wet and cold. My husband did not like his simple burger and fries. So sad because we used to LOVE this place but this experience was so bad in so many ways, will not be back.

Very rude manager named Kiera, mixed drinks sucked. When we complained about the Texas iced teas (comparable to LI iced teas) we were told rudely that we can upgrade our drinks with an additional charge or order new drinks, but would still be charged for the bad drinks. She mentioned the drinks were exact measurements what it should be, but 1 drink was clearly darker than the other and tasted like only soda! She cannot make us decent drinks. Burger was good, grilled cheese was okay but charred badly on 1 side. We should have known because this burger barn was empty! Don't order mixed drinks.

This spot is recommended. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and attentive. It's a great location for outdoor and indoor dining.

Usually great food and service. Except for my last order where there was a screwup with the computer and I had to wait an extra 30 minutes. The manager apologized and gave me my order for free. I really appreciated the extra customer service when I was frustrated. That is how you make loyal customers.

I came here with my mother, grandmother & sister on 12/24 around 1:30pm and we had a really great experience. Our family often has trouble with restaurants because my grandmother has mobility issues and needs a lot of assistance walking. When we arrived, the hostess (sorry didn't get her name and I wish we did) opened the door for my family as we were helping my grandmother walk. We were very grateful for this gesture. Our waitress- Kim- was excellent. She was very attentive and made some great recommendations. We had a really amazing experience and my mother and grandmother have already returned! On 1/3/2019- their great waitress was Kailey and the same great hostess helped with the door! Such a small gesture that makes such a big difference. (Sorry we don't know the hostesses name but we will definitely ask next time). This will probably be our family go-to spot from now on! Thanks Burger Barn & your amazing staff for a great experience!
