Burger Haus in North Hobart Best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had. At one minute before closing, I went in to order this burger. The staff were super friendly and accommodated my order. A selection of buns included Pita bread (yum). Burger was fresh, generous serving of fillings and lip smacking good.

Google
Best Burger place in Hobart! We visited this place on a three day mini vacay from Sydney, and it did not disappoint. The burgers were awesome. Great flavour, big portions and the staff were lovely and friendly. We would have definitely come back if we lived in Hobart or if we were going to be here a little longer! Definitely a hit!

Super nice atmosphere. Food is always good. One the 'fresher' burger places around in that the food doesn't feel too greasy, just a good balance. The flavour balance is great!

Worst place! Totally regreat stopping by, they forgot our order when there were only 3 people in the entire restaurant. Blend food, sugary milkshake. 40 minutes waiting and the cashier, instead of apologizing, she made up an excuse! Brought us a horrible burguer, those in the supermarket tastes better, fries to be laughed at! This place is a joke. Thank you for wasting our time and our money

Google
They have a great variety of burgers - everything from the classic beef to lamb, chicken, fish and vegetarian. I highly recommend adding on the cheesy fries (go big or go home). The lamb burger was excellent!

Food is always delicious, and they have some interesting combos on the menu, though I can never go past the Electric Blue. You can also have a beer with your burger which is a nice bonus.

Google
A bunch of ingredients in the burger and you can choose your own type of bread, which is great! Big portion can absolutely fill a man. Friendly staff, reasonable waiting time even almost hull house and lots of take away orders. The thick chips are really thick and filling, crispy outside and soft inside, it is no seasoning at all, but salt and pepper and tomato sauce are available if request. However, I personally think the burger is too dry, the bun is good, the meat and bacon taste good, but they are all staying apart, no media to mix them together.

You guys! Do not think twice to eat at this restaurant. Personally, I loved everything I ate and my boyfriend also loved it. The service customer was lovely from the beginning until the end. We order the food through the QR code and it took a bit longer to have the food on the table. However, the wait was worth it, I could taste flavor in every bite. The beef was so delish and tasty and thick. I would come back definitely. 100✅ recommended My boyfriend asked for a miss steak burger and I asked for a summer loving.

Yelp
The Burger Haus is Hobart's answer to Grill'd on the mainland. That's right! Tasmania doesn't get Grill'd. Like so many other chains, they haven't made it down here. But that's just fine, because we get to eat local instead. Which means burgers at Burger Haus in North Hobart, Jack Greene in Salamanca and Burger Got Soul in Sandy Bay. They're all competitors, as far as I know. All owned separately. And yet the experience is pretty much the same across the board. Big burgers full of ingredients that make a right mess, some tasty fat chips on the side (and other sides, like Burger Haus's A+ onion rings), and a fizzy drink (with or without alcohol, you choose). Burger Haus is my local of the three when I need a big fat messy burger (not that often, but... you know) and I like the space as well, it's pretty cool. Inside or outside dining, fancy lighting, fun little nooks. Nice.

Yelp
Well priced menu, chicken ribs that were on special were amazing. Didn't rate the burger - I had the "old mate" with the extra chicken patty, unfortunately the fried chicken didn't have the crispy bite of the ribs which would have seen it be spectacular. As I had takeaway and the schnitzel wasn't crispy the whole thing leeched into the bread and was a bit soggy. Definately warrants another visit, but I'd probably change up my order.

Yelp
Went on a really busy night. Besides the 15 minute wait to be served, food was quick and well worth the wait. Would consider returning next time I'm in town. Best burger I've had in a while!

Yelp
1st time at Burgerhaus. Impressed as. Burgers came out fast. We're the best burgers I have had. Service was spot on, polite etc. chips were among the best I've had. Onions rings cooked perfect and the specialty shakes are unbelievable. And a decent size. Will be coming here for sure.

Yelp
Do NOT wear your good clothes! Especially don't wear white. You may end up wearing your meal. Firstly a warning, if you're coming from Elizabeth street the restaurant is up an alley & not clearly signed. I was nostalgic for my honeymoon in Tuscany so I was thrilled to see cinguale on the burger menu (wild boar). Damn it was good! Tender, tasty, falling apart. Team it with a Moretti Autentico birra (beer) & I was in heaven. Ditto also to the other reviewers.

Yelp
They're vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian friendly! At a burger place, that's a one in a million opportunity. The food was amazing! I got the electric blue (without cheese) and it was phenomenal.

Yelp
My sisters had heard about Burger Haus and wanted to try it, so off we went. Being that I'm now living in Washington DC, burger snob land, I have pretty high standards for burgers. I was a huge fan of this place! Definitely among the best burgers I've had. Since we had strollers with us, we ate outside (the main building is upstairs and I didn't see any disabled access). To order, you need to go inside and then they bring it to your table. This system works quite well until they get really busy. My husband went back inside after we had eaten, to order more chips. He managed to order immediately after a large group placed their order. He went to the dessert area and ordered an ice cream sandwich. Unfortunately, do to the large group, the chips came out about 10 minutes after the ice cream sandwich (both had quite a long wait), and by that time, my 3 year old, who the chips were for, was no longer interested in them. If this restaurant can improve their kitchen flow, especially during busy periods, then I think they would be deserving of 5 stars. The food was excellent - I ordered thick beer battered chips (delicious), Summer Lovin' Burger + beetroot, and the kids had chicken nuggets. My husband loved his burger too, but said he had had better at Ray's Hell Burger (http://www.yelp.com/biz/rays-to-the-third-arlington) in the States. Can't win 'em all :-P.

Yelp
Pretty easy going place for a casual dinner in North Hobart. Multiple choice of burgers with fun combinations. I got the one with figs and blue cheese and it was a long time since I have had such a good combination of flavours a in a burger. Chips were ok. They charge extra for sauce which I thought was a bit cheeky.

Yelp
The greatest burgers in town. Cheap and amazing. Great staff. And great atmosphere. Love it. Great beer and ciders.

Yelp
Been here 3 times Had a different burger each time 3 of the best burgers I have had in my life. Peanut butter and Nutella milkshake, amazing. The only thing I think they need to change, just put the burgers on a normal plate rather than a slab of wood with a handle. Your burgers are amazingly jucy and that slab of wood just doesn't handle the mess I am going to make every time

Yelp
Burgers are not just burgers. Contemporary eating now provides the opportunity to get your mass produced, production line, no love involved burger or you can go all the way up the spectrum to artisan crafted edible art with gluten and 'organic' ingredients as optional extras and enough love to make your cute grandma gag. An I'm glad now to say that our city has more then one quality burger joint. Burger haus is very much towards the upper end of the afore mentioned spectrum. I have not dined there of a regular basis yet, but the foot I have had there has been of a splendid standard. Yeah ok, the burger I had today could have stood with a bit of toasting on the roll. But if that is my entire list of complaints, you are doing something very right. It was all well presented and pleasing to the eye even before it got the opportunity to please my palate. Served on a rustic wooden board, the salad looks fresh and inviting and the meat smelling emitting a warm salivation provoking aroma. The thick shakes also decadent and fresh in appearance and rustic in presentation, served in a bespoke jar with handle and quality paper straw. The onion rings and aioli brought as an entrée was delicious and moorish. The decor is a little hipster kitsch. at least outside, With some fake grass, seats with milk crates for supports, and don't forget to pick up your menu from the battered brown travel case as you walk to your table. None of this decor excites nor insults me, so I finds it legitimate enough, it's definatly more positive than negative for me. The food was quite quick to come out, but not fast enough to make me feel they were just trying to turn tables, there is definate care in the cooking. The burgers do not come with utensils, but they can be collected from a servery inside if you so wish was surprised neither the drinks not meals came with napkins, a tower of whipped cream of fresh made burger, napkins will always be required, but they can also be collected inside. It was not the final chapter ever written on the burger restaurant business, but I found it a high quality feed an pleasant surroundings. Loved it.

Yelp
Decent portion, tasty food, welcoming staff, soothing music in background, and a cozy place. Definitely my kinda joint! Try Pina Loca: chook with bacon, caramelized pineapple and onion. Don't forget beetroot and cheese.

Yelp
Great burgers but if you go at a peak time, be prepared to wait. Have been on many occasions and had to wait 40+ minutes. For a BURGER! But, great options, nice vegan choices. Great shakes and friendly service.

Yelp
Only my second time here but nit sure there will be a third. I placed my 10 year old son's order first...mini moo moo burger and a cookies and cream milkshake...I was asked if I wanted the kids meal. I already thought the mini moo moo as and said ok. I ordered the Haus Burger and a chocolate milkshake for myself. My shake was delivered long before anything else and thought it strange my son didn't get his. When our food was delivered and still no shake for him we asked and after a wait was told it wasn't on the docket and never ordered or paid for but I could now and would be out in 2 minutes. I know what I ordered and it was more like 10 minutes before it arrived and my son's burger nearly gone. My burger was overcooked and our side order of onion rings soggy. We got a side order of shoestring fries to find out my son's order came with them too. It wasn't until we were leaving the restaurant we read in the menu outside that his meal included a choice of fruit box or spring water. We got neither. The waitress was less than impressive and the whole experience was far from my first visit!
