Google
Been here twice and loved it both times. One of the best if not the best burger chain. Large dining area and quick service.

Lillian Wong

Google
Very nice holy smoke burgers and stern fires, the staffs are very nice, they also remind us that we could get a combo with the fries plus drinks (we were originally ordering a la cart...). I love the fried pickle and saute sauce, very full with just the burger! The stern fries is amazing, caramelised onion, plus cheese and maybe mustard? Nice taste! One advice is to clean the front windows, as it almost looks like it's closed from outside. Maybe that will help attract more customers? But the washroom is very clean, so, overall a very amazing job, thank you!

Paige

Google
They COMPLETELY missed my order notes. Asked for extra lettuce, onion, pickle and sauce. I actually got a pathetic amount and had to add my own. If a big cheaper chain can get this right, why can’t BP?

Google
The burger at this place is pretty darn good. The poutine that we had was okay. Trying it for the first time you realize that it's just fried potatoes and gravy. If you're in Toronto is a must try just to say that you tried it.

Google
Ordered the Holy Smokes and it was good. Perhaps a little too oily but that's to be expected when you order a burger with deep friend jalapenos. Could've used some more sauce/seasoning. The fries were awesome!

Google
It's our first time coming to try Burgers Priest and it did not disappoint. We had the Vatican and the Bacon Double Cheeseburger, it's very well made and delicious. We will definitely come back to try other burgers.

Google
Absolutely incredible experience! The food at Burger Priest is next-level — juicy, flavorful, and made fresh to perfection. The staff were super friendly. Sruthin, shinas andMidhun , making the whole vibe of the place warm and inviting. You can really tell they care about both their food and their customers. Highly recommend if you’re craving a top-tier burger and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Having not been to Toronto for over 20 years, I found myself starving and shivering on the street—until I was greeted by a warm and cheerful girl named Nina at Burger’s Priest. Noticing I was a first-timer, she kindly recommended a few burgers and fries. I ultimately went with the Double Cheeseburger and Stern Fries, and they were absolutely delicious. Thanks, Nina!

Yelp
First time trying Poutine and fell in love. As vegetarians we really appreciated the veggie options as well. Another must try are the stern fries. Yum! The customer service was friendly and the restaurant is casual counter service.

Yelp
Loved this burger spot. While the ambiance isn't amazing, it's great for a quick fast food stop. The dining space is small but it was just fine. Clean, which is the most important thing. I really appreciated the gluten free bun option and that the gravy for the poutine was also gf! Super tasty and it hit the spot! Only slightly negative comment: when we dining, there was a terrible banging/racket coming from the kitchen/cook space. Not sure what it was but it about drove us out of the restaurant!

Yelp
Amazing burgers and great staff. Wonderful ambiance and open late. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Food was so good I definitely recommend this place! Burgers and fries to die for! Best milkshakes

Yelp
This place went from being the best burger place in Toronto to horrible customer service. Do not eat here if you are A celiac (ANY LOCATION). They have given me a full gluten burger and then when I realized before biting Into it just chuckle and offer a new one (they don't even know what celiac disease is except some of the cooks who are still good). The cashiers and customer service are the worst in the city.

Super 8.

Yelp
Place is incredible! First, the customer service is next level great! Nina and Mika recommended an amazing burger called Holy Smoke, combo with Poutine, . Finally I tasted an excellent burger, super quality! Poutine was also delicious I will be back!

Yelp
We came here for a quick bite to eat before a Raptors game. My son ordered their regular cheeseburger and I ordered their High Priest cheeseburger. Burgers we're a little disappointing. I regretted ordering their High Priest burger since all you're really getting is an extra bun in the middle similar to a Big Mac. I should have just ordered their double cheese burger. Screw that extra bun. Burgers weren't anything special, although their secret sauce had a nice flavor to it. I also ordered their poutine side. The poutine was good for a fast food place but nothing special. Service was great but I don't see myself coming back next time I'm in Toronto.

Yelp
Seems like the ownership of this location changed because I've never been so disappointed in a burger. If my friend and I weren't hungry and didn't eat the entire day then we wouldn't have ate our burgers. We ordered the high priest, the holy smokes, the chocolate shake and the poutine ($43.51 with tip). Waited from 5:35-5:57pm for our orders. The poutine came cold. The shake wasn't chocolate (vanilla shake with 3 pumps of chocolate syrup) the shake at McDonald's is better.. The burgers are hard and overcooked. Please don't order from this location. They don't even open late night anymore so what's the point

Yelp
These are the best burgers in the city. The chicken sandwich is good too. The fries are so good and their gravy is great. A must try.

Yelp
Every time I ate at The Burger's Priest, I feel like I need to repent my sin. My sin of being gluttony. I always want to go for the biggest flashest burger and I always regret after I wolfed that down. I am glad I have someone to share with this time. Seriously, Chris C you never been to any of the Burger's Priest locations?! Here let's go in and give them a try. My victim was really reluctant? I was thinking why not? It is always good to go for a burger right before another burger joint?! Decisions Decisions and more Decisions?! I assured the newbie everything is good.... just pick something. OK I ended up picking The HIGH Priest. Nothing too out of the ordinary: Two beef patties, secret sauce, cheese, pickles, diced onions, chopped lettuce, non-sesame bun. Good, eh? I asked newbie. Nice and juicy and sinfully delicious. Patties were cooked with just a hint of pink. Sharing is caring as I happily ate my half of the burger. Until next time.

Yelp
A funny thing happened on our way to checking out a new burger restaurant. We walked by Burger's Priest and decided to drop in for a quick burger. Seriously, who does that? Burger's Priest has been on my list for a very long time but I've never had the opportunity to try it until now. My companion and I decided to share a High Priest (Two beef patties, secret sauce, cheese, pickles, diced onions, chopped lettuce, non-sesame bun). It was pretty darn good, juicy to the point of threatening to be messy. The toppings all played well with each other to create a good flavour. I'll definitely have to come back to eat a whole burger. Maybe I'll try one of their other offerings. They all look good. BTW, this was better than the burger at the other place we went to. PS - I worked at Tyndale University, the Alma mater of the founder of Burger's Priest. He provides complimentary burgers to the students every year. It's a great way to remember where you came from and give back. Bravo!

Yelp
I heard this place has some of the best burgers in the GTA. So, I went ahead and ordered: NEW YORK'S FINEST TAXI SERVICE. This is a cheeseburger with G14 sauce, lettuce, and tomato. It tasted like a typical cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. The G14 sauce looked like a mix of mustard and mayo. The ingredients were also pretty fresh. Wish I ordered something from the secret menu, as I've heard some of the better, interesting burgers are on there. The quality is definitely superior to other fast food burger joints! Side note: A man rushed into the store, swore and yelled at the employees about the garbage cans being full and not thrown out, and then pushed his way into the kitchen. I assume he's the manager at this store. I was quite frightened :( Shortly afterwards the employees started to tell customers that they're closed even though the store hours say they're open till 9:30? I wouldn't mind trying other Priest burgers in the future but this experience freaked me out a bit, so I'll likely go to a different location if I'm craving a Priest burger.

Yelp
Had a late night craving after a show and ended up at this place near our hotel. I had always heard of this chain and thought when i get to Toronto i should try it. Ordered the Chicken Low Priest combo with fries and an orange creamsicle shake. Found some pink-ish parts on the chicken, the fries became instantly cold and the creamsicle shake... i had never tried one before and i think it will be my last. The fries seemed to have been hanging out all night. The place was relatively packed for midnight and still they weren't fresh? Confusing. I'm just disappointed there wasn't a really good bite/sip in all of this food. If i lived near one of these i'd probably go back in and get a burger to try, but i'm sure there are better alternatives in the city.

Yelp
We had the california burger and the high priest. The california burger had a different bun - really good and a lot of meat juice. The high priest is similar to a big mac but the quality is a loooot better lol each burger came with a lot of fries. It's more expensive than McD's but you pay for the better quality. Great burger place!

Yelp
I had a heavenly last day--I was runnin' through The 6 with a bloated stomach. Before I made my last Toronto food stop at The Burger's Priest, I had Sweet Jesus. (Okay, I lied. I stopped by a random pizza place for water, but we all know that Nestle water ain't exactly holy water.) Without the recommendation of a coworker, I probably would've never cared to look twice at this place. Being from a city where a burger place is within reach on almost every corner, frankly, I get easily tired of the sight of burgers (*gasp*). But when he told me of beef patties that were sandwiched between two grilled cheese buns, known as the Vatican City, I was sold. I don't know about you, but I pictured excess melted cheddar cheese coming from the bread and running through my fingers like a waterfall. This thing was heavy--be prepared to not want to have another meal or move for the next few hours. Firstly, the burger was great. The patty was cooked well and the toppings were all perfect. I ate this before my flight and didn't even bother looking for food when I got home. The grilled cheese buns, on the other hand, weren't what I expected--they were thin buns, each with a thin slice of cheese--but I honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this burger and a burger with regular buns because the grilled cheese didn't stand out. Pricey for burgers, but I also realize that they thrive on the gimmick.

Yelp
First off I am not really a burger person. Second off my friend and I only came here b/c he was hungry after a late evening and wanted a quick bite. I just wanted to nibble on something. I ordered the cheesy fries. They looked like a glob of orange. The fries at least were thin and crisp but other than that....I really don't know what to say. I had a bite of my friend's burger. It was lackluster to say the least. It was empty when we were there so not sure if that is indicative of anything of not. I'll keep walking by next time I see it, I guess burgers and me just don't mix.

Yelp
Avoid. Ordered a burger for delivery, requested no onions - not only did come with onions (which I cannot eat) it also came loaded with grilled mushrooms (which I am highly allergic to) Had I eaten even a bite, I would have ended up in the hospital. Careless staff, mindlessly whipping up orders, with no consideration for the customer's health.

Yelp
The burgers here are amazing! Love the options and the meat quality. The food alone is probably worth 4.5 stars, however there are a number of things that prevent that. First, eat it hot and its amazing. Wait, and your jarge style cheesy poof is gonna just be a mushy mess. Even hot its nice and gooey, but melted cheese just tastes better hot. In order to eat it hot, you need to find a table. Good luck with that. Seating here is limited. There are also huge steps to trip over just getting to the counter. NOT FOR KIDS or large parties. Most people seem to get it to go, however that prevents you from enjoying it HOT. Prices are high. It's a good burger, but this is priced in the $$ range which demands high expectations. I've burgers just as good or better for smaller prices. When it comes down to just the burger though, my Pope Jarge Style (5) didn't disappoint. Amazing flavor and quality! Love the Jarge style fried cheese thingy you can add to any burger. But you gotta eat it hot. That Vatican dog is a joke. Too small. Don't get it unless you're really craving a nicely grilled regular hot dog and love overpaying.

Yelp
Arrived in Toronto late and was craving a burger. Was delighted to find this burger joint was open till 4 a.m. It's located in the entertainment district surrounded by bars, clubs and restos. There is a take out window to the left of the main cash where you can grab your order conveniently. The menu is divided by burgers, hot dogs, sides and drinks. You can get basic toppings of ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Extra toppings for a fee. There is a photo of a vegan burger called Daniel on display. The burger menu had clever names like The Vatican and The Priest. I'll definitely delve into it on another visit here. I opted for the single cheeseburger, chilli cheese fries and of course the old fashioned vanilla shake. The service was quick and efficient, my favorite. Upon my first sip of the shake, sent a memory surge of Shake Shake. It was smooth, not too thick and creamy. The burger was a nice size and was perfectly cooked. The chilli cheese fries was tasty, yet the cheese was not melted and overloaded for my taste. I like the simplicity of the logo, sleek and black. At 1 a.m. majority of customers seemed to have been drinking and wanted to fix their craving for late night grub. There were two security guards which was interesting to see. I'm guessing it's necessary considering the area of the restaurant. The prices are high, I'm told it's normal for Toronto. The meal was about $20.

Yelp
It was ok. Nowhere to sit, but that's what you'd expect at any small space during lunch time. Orders took a while. Burgers were Alright at best.

Yelp
This burger had extreme potential! Not that I had a bad experience or anything but this could have been an excellent burger with some changes. We ordered off uber eats and some time later the meal arrived. It was The Vatican Burger which is basically two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Now my critic is that the ratio of cheese to sauce didn't match. Definitely needed more secret sauce which would have completed the burger. Other than that, no complaints. It's a must try in my opinion!

Yelp
This good Burger place but not the best. The price is high though. Fast Service and nice ambience.

Yelp
The wait was long, but it wasn't bad. They definitely are redeeming hamburgers one Burger at a time. I went for the California Classic, it was, like some said, is very buttery, but I don't mind, it's just the way I like it. There is just one thing, this place is definitely not accessible as you do need to climb a set of stairs to get to just order. This is what you get when you have a restaurant at such an old building. It's kind of hard to look at McD's burgers after you have one of theirs.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
They apparently sold out all their locations to a restaurant conglomerate. There's hotdogs, fried chicken and all kinds of other crap on the menu now. F

Jesse V.

Yelp
Ample food for any human. Well cooked and creatively named. Even Americans liked it. We prayed to the burger god, and our prayers were answered. This is on the list of reasons we don't want to cross back over the border.

Yelp
Burger's Priest is definitely my go to burger joint in Toronto. This location is conveniently near the financial district so it can get really busy during weekday lunch hours. I tried the chili cheese fries, double bacon cheeseburger and Vatican City. All are staples of the franchise and made fresh when you order. There is definitely a lot of open space in the middle at this location and you need to walk up stairs to get to the main area. The kitchen is at the back as well as the counter to order. Make sure to check out their hidden menu online. And for some odd reason, they do offer free WiFi but the most recent times I have visited this place, the WiFi does not work or is very, very slow. Definitely my go to place for burgers.
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
We came here at around 6 on a Tuesday and while the place was starting to get busy and filled we were able to place our order and receive our food within a reasonable time. I ordered the California classic burger. Wow. It tasted so good that even with all the oil dripping off the burger and the grease of the buttered buns I still didn't feel bad about eating it, it was delicious! The burger was nice and hot, and I loved the sauce on the burger! I tried some of the fries from my friend who ordered it with her burger, which were also very yummy! It is a little pricier but I think it's worth it to treat once in a while. Definitely satisfied the burger craving!
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Today was their "trial" opening. "Training exercise", they called it. Officially, they open tomorrow for lunch. There were several different menus to order from, but you had to stick with the one menu that was given to you. We had the California Classic and the Pope. Both double patties. Damn that was good. These are the best burgers I've had in the city. The beef is moist and flavourful. It's loosely packed and it stays so juicy. We are huge fans of the Queen West location, the original location is just too far east for us. We also had two orders of fries, a pop, and a root beer float. Loved it!!! Come check out the new location! So much more seating! Open late, giving Burrito Boyz a run for their money!
google avatar

Chantal Y.

Yelp
Seriously do not waste your time. Had 2 double fiery furnace burgers, took forever to cook, and once we got them turned out that they were already sitting in a bag for the last 20 minutes but nobody bothered to tell us that it was ready. Cold and soggy! Plus the taste was sour and under cooked patty ( red ish) I wish that this tasted good, but it just was nasty. Even if after being starved this could not taste good. Also thought we should try the cheese fries, BIG MISTAKE! the cheese looked like it was scraped from a freezer judging by the fact it wasn't even melted. Unfortunately nothing was done when we voiced our concerns, and that is the end.
google avatar

Signe L.

Yelp
I got a vegan burger with a gluten free keto bun. I'm unsure what the patty was made of, but it was ok. The bun was really good, based on nuts and seeds. Toppings were skimpy and the burger was not filling. I'm glad there was a choice I could eat, but I'd up the game a bit with 2 slices of tomato and more onion. How about some cashew cheese as an option? One pro was that it was not at all greasy. I'd give it another go, especially if they add more vegan options.
google avatar

Souk S.

Yelp
I wanted to love it but it was just okay. I remember hearing the buzz many years ago and also wanted to try it but didn't make the time. Went for lunch and got the double stack. Smaller than what I expected and the meat was tasty but this place has been hyped up for so long that I expected to have a burger moment...but it fizzled. Loved the fries though!
google avatar

Lori C.

Yelp
Ordered 2 combos with drinks through a delivery app. The drinks didn't come. When we contacted the restaurant, and then put on hold while they "looked into it." We were on hold for nearly 10 minutes when we decided to call back. We are immediately directed to their voicemail/away message - the restaurant closed. Yes it was reaching the close of their hours of operation, though why weren't we told this issue would be resolved tomorrow? So we essentially were put on hold to endlessly wait while no one got back to us because they closed the restaurant. Terrible.
google avatar

Brittany A.

Yelp
Really delicious juicy and flavourful burgers. I am not one to order super heart stopping burgers in the first place (aka ones with double patties, added fried things, etc) although I am sure those are tasty! I stuck to the classic and ordered a cheeseburger which was so so so good. Side note, I am a pickle gal, and their pickles are really good! Service was friendly and efficient, I would definitely return!
google avatar

Ozlem K.

Yelp
After hearing about this place I decided to try it with my MealPal subscription, that day it was offering "high priest burger", which is like 2 big macs stacked on top of each other. I was expecting a huge burger but it wasn't as huge. The burger meat was delicious, sauce was good but oher than that there wasn't anything much special about it. Normal price is 9.99 plus taax, which is I think overpriced for take-out. If you are gonna eat in the restaurant it has a nice atmosphere and might worth the money more since you are using the facility as well.
google avatar

Will T.

Yelp
Do you love Shake Shack? This is probably the closest thing to an American burger. I always get the Fiery Furnace because it's very close to a SmokeShack burger. The cherry peppers. The venue is only OK, same with the food. Although I'd still come back. Nuff said!
google avatar

Kenneth T.

Yelp
Best burger in the city. Eat the High Priest (their take on a Big Mac) and its saucy goodness. The meat is so fresh that it breaks apart in your mouth. You come here for a good burger and you definitely get it. Some people think the price is a little high for a burger but if you want to try other "premium burgers" you're likely paying the same or more for a lesser grade. Don't skip out, this place is for real.
google avatar

Bex X.

Yelp
The burgers here are awesome, so glad I made the trip here. Plenty of seating inside too if you're going with a group. They seem to mess up orders pretty often - they either take way too long for certain orders or forget to add/take away ingredients. The menu is unique for a fast-food chain and I like their options.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
I ordered in via just eat and i have to say these were very good Burgers! I love their take on the "Big Mac" it's just so much better!! and so much fresher! I really I loved the burger. The only complaint i had was in regards to the fries, they were not the greatest and really takes the whole experience down a notch as they were also delivered cold, but even if they were not, they were still pretty bad. It seems like they put so much effort into the burger, and seem to totally disregard the need for good fries to compliment their excellent burger. if they served fries like they do at fresh burger or 5 guys, these guys would be close to the best in the city.
google avatar

Rob K.

Yelp
I took my team here as a treat. It was Wednesday and Payday to boot. We arrived just after 1:30 pm. Each employee made a separate order for a total of ten burgers. Personally I had the High Priest ( double cheese burger) with fries and a chocolate milkshake. All 10 orders were made quickly and exactly as ordered. To a person, they said their burger was well made, hot with a fresh tasting patty. Given the generous portions we could have easily split the order of hand cut fries. And whether you like them plain or with ketchup or with malt vinegar they were great. I didn't get chilli fries only because I ordered a very delicious milkshake. The team all said the Priest was worth the walk and the price to have one of the best burgers in Toronto.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
I went with their "High Priest" which consists of two beef patties, secret sauce, cheese, pickles, diced onions, chopped lettuce, non-sesame bun. The burger was decent but lacked that kick of flavor I was hoping to get. There was nothing special to this burger and frankly wasn't worth the $10+. I also went with a root beer float and it was downright comical. Imagine a "float" consisting of a standard fare beverage cup that can only hold half of the root beer can. I was given 2 items. A half full can of root beer and the thickest "float" in a small plastic cup. This was easily one of the worst floats I've seen. My coworker had some fries and got his fries well before his burger? Fries were cooked in old oil sauce and were mostly end bits. Not sure if this is the style here... Food took about 25 minutes to prepare and during this time I had my sad float in my hands while my coworker stared at his burnt tiny fries. Sorry Burger Priest, your burger joint experience was a SIN to my culinary experience.
google avatar

Vipul T.

Yelp
I had heard about a lot of their burgers and wanted to visit this place for a long time. So, finally made a visit to one of their outlets on Adelaide street. Their burgers are definitely worth a try. I tried "The Option" burger. It's a great choice for vegetarians. The patty was made up of portobello Mushrooms with oozy gooey cheese inside it. Alongside, I also tried their fresh cut fries and Jarge Shake. The fries were crispy and tasted very good. The shake was very average for my taste buds though. The staff at the counter was quite friendly and the order came pretty quick. It is a self service restaurant. I would definitely recommend their burgers for sure.
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
The burger was outstanding!!!! I had the Highest Priest burger with fries. I honestly thought about the burger, especially the cheese and sauce, several days later. The fries were ok, nothing really special. The chocolate chip cookies were good. The atmosphere is interesting on the weekends/late nights. This location is surrounded by nightclubs and bars. So if you go late, you can get some free entertainment or be a part of the show!!! They have bouncers/security just in case things get too out of hand. I would definitely recommend grabbing a burger here before or after a night of drinking.
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
The burgers are good. The wait will always a lot longer than typical "burger" expectations, but if you're not in a rush you'll realize it's totally worth it. I always feel great after eating their burgers too instead of that bloated feeling after typical fast food. Seems they use more quality ingredients and so it feels more comfortable afterwards.
google avatar

Ashley Z.

Yelp
Ordered a cheeseburger and vanilla shake from The Burger's Priest and honestly was rather disappointed this time. The bread was dry and seemed stale, the lettuce seemed fresh but the patty was also smaller and not as flavourful as I had wished. Overall, perhaps it was that particular burger, but it fell short of my expectations and experience having eaten from The Burger's Priest. The extra special sauces that we paid for were basically just hot sauce and another chilli pepper sauce. The only redeeming quality was the vanilla shake which was super creamy and delicious!
google avatar

Precilla C.

Yelp
I've been to Burger's Priest a number of times so a review is long overdue. Overall, I am a fan! It's no shake shack, but it's a pretty good burger option in Toronto. They also have a fun secret menu (I've never tried anything on the secret menu as everything looks exuberantly rich). The fries are also pretty delicious. If you're looking for a good burger spot downtown, look no further!
google avatar

Ayesha G.

Yelp
The burgers here are delicious and they have come up with many delicious combination. I thought that the prices were a bit steep and for two of us eating burgers and only ordering one order of fries and one drink we should not have to pay $40. The food again was delicious and I would come back here in a heartbeat but they need a little bit more creativity on the menu maybe mixing beef and chicken items they should take some pointers from the burgenator.
google avatar

Xingyu S.

Yelp
I came her for a quick lunch with some coworkers, and it did not disappoint. The burger I had was the blue steel, which is a beef patty with a slice of blue cheese. It tasted quite good, although the beef party was a little dry. The bun was not very special, and the toppings were your standard ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. The ingredients weren't particularly exciting, but nothing was unpleasant and the burger satisfied me for lunch. It was great value for its price of $7.69, or $8.69 after tax.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I ordered the Low Priest Cheeseburger through Ritual (First Visit offer you get $5 off). If you are willing to wait a little extra for a good burger this is the place. The burger is one of the best that I've had from a fast food joint!

Yelp
Stopped in here for a late night burger. The location was clean and modern , definitely more of a place for takeout or to have a quick very casual bite to eat. Prices were a little higher than I expected for a burger. I ordered their cheeseburger and French fries. The fries were good (generous portion, good texture and perfect amount of salt), their burger was decent but I can't say I was blown away. At that price I expected them to be comparable to five guys but they were not in the same league. Five guys burger is bigger and packs way more flavour. All in all not a bad experience but wouldn't be my first pick.
