Arrived in Toronto late and was craving a burger. Was delighted to find this burger joint was open till 4 a.m. It's located in the entertainment district surrounded by bars, clubs and restos. There is a take out window to the left of the main cash where you can grab your order conveniently. The menu is divided by burgers, hot dogs, sides and drinks. You can get basic toppings of ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Extra toppings for a fee. There is a photo of a vegan burger called Daniel on display. The burger menu had clever names like The Vatican and The Priest. I'll definitely delve into it on another visit here.
I opted for the single cheeseburger, chilli cheese fries and of course the old fashioned vanilla shake. The service was quick and efficient, my favorite. Upon my first sip of the shake, sent a memory surge of Shake Shake. It was smooth, not too thick and creamy. The burger was a nice size and was perfectly cooked. The chilli cheese fries was tasty, yet the cheese was not melted and overloaded for my taste. I like the simplicity of the logo, sleek and black.
At 1 a.m. majority of customers seemed to have been drinking and wanted to fix their craving for late night grub. There were two security guards which was interesting to see. I'm guessing it's necessary considering the area of the restaurant. The prices are high, I'm told it's normal for Toronto. The meal was about $20.
