We called the hotel at 8pm last night to see if we could get a room, and we're greeted with a friendly voice and a booking for the night, in a great location. The room was well presented immaculately clean and very stylish. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the homemade granola was delicious with the yoghurt. The staff were very kind and respectful. Nes was the icing on the cake... right man , right job. (these things all make for a perfect stay) Thank you!

Just had an overnight stay, my Wife was attending a function at Oxford University. Great place to stay, clean, comfortable, really friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast, good local restaurants, we ate at the New Dancing Dragon just down the road and it was lovely. Easy access to Oxford, good local shops etc. Highly recommended.

Delightful four night stay over a weekend. Ideal location for local amenities in Summertown. Easy city access by regular buses. |We stayed in the small room annex which was perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast cooked to order. |Definitely would stay here again on subsequent visits to Oxford.|Many thanks to Nes and Victor for your hospitality and making our stay special.

We stayed for one night on our way for a break in Devon. The queen room we had was a bit on the small side but as it was only one night that was ok.|The fact that you can park free and get into Oxford easily by bus or even walking is a great bonus and the local area has plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants .|All the staff we met were really polite and helpful. The owner Nes greeted us and is very informative about the hotel and the area.|Breakfast was really good with all the ingredients being of high quality.|We would certainly stay here again when we come back to Oxford.

Good spot for Oxford visit,. Great freshly cooked breakfast. Bus stop only yards away and bus times really good both ways Room on the small side and in a separate annex, but as only for 1 night not really a problem Also free parking which for Oxford is a real bonus

This is a gem of a find in Oxford. The room was excellent, the breakfast a delight and I cannot speak highly enough of Nes who saved the day for me as I sought last minute accommodation after a less than favourable experience elsewhere in Oxford. The magician of Oxford, I cannot thank him enough for turning my stay around and all his kindness and help. A lovely place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

This gets twi stars for the following reasons||1. We got the ‘guest room’ which is separate from the main building which does not feature in its images in terms of the interior. ||2. The room was small. So small that the bathroom is the type you find on Brittany ferries with a shower that floods the whole place - and is nicely rotting the door and wood fittings from the bottom. ||3. The room had a smell of mould. ||4. The kettle in the room did not work. That wouldn’t have mattered except we needed an early exit. We asked for a coffee but that was impossible because the kitchen didn’t open till 730. ||5. The staff were nice. ||6. The breakfast too.||7. Overall poor value for money - cheaper better options down the same road.||We think the ‘guest room’ was a staff quarters.
