The Burren Hostel

Had a great time here, the staff were so friendly (especially Paola) the hostel was clean and had a great atmosphere. Good facilities and the garden space was lovely. So central to the village. Stayed in the family room and it was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again :)

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable,relaxing, friendly staff. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Beautiful garden area to sit and relax. Sebastian at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and will give you direction to the best sites this area has to offer. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Really great hostel. It is very close to the village and has a car parking. We stayed in a 6-bed room which was fresh and clean. The social areas have cool interior and there are lots of these areas and the kitchen is also big which is nice. The only negative aspects were that when we arrived there was no one in the reception and when we asked around they were just sitting in the kitchen instead of in the reception. Also the WiFi did not reach the rooms

Great hostel, by far the best I've stayed in. It felt incredibly welcoming and cozy, warm decoration and furniture, log fire burning in the TV room (which makes for a better reading room). The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help, especially Sebastian, wine and pizza sold here at good prices too, can't complain for a bottle of wine and pizza for €17, particularly welcome after a long day at the cliffs of Moher in the rain! I stayed with my girlfriend in a 6 bed mixed form, we paid for two beds but shared a bunk, I was very impressed how comfy the bed was, even with two people squashed into it and I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in ages! 10/10 will stay here again when I return to the cliffs! :)

Excellent hostel. Suitable for families as rooms have there own toilets and lots of room for kids to run around inside and out. Excellent staff. Great help with a medical situation. Highly recommend this accommodation

Paula was a wonderful host. We were a party of 6 with kids and loved our night playing pool and listening to the best playlist of tunes.great continental breakfast with gf bread.thanks so much,a refreshingly simple accommodation & very chilled.🤘🌺

Overall great place, but as the title says this is a hostel. Nice open space for lounging or meeting up with other travelers. Rooms were clean but beds a sliver stiff. Water was out in the early morning but could be due to the drought at the time. For the area, great option.

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were super friendly. I will stay there again. Bed was comfy an clean, unsuite to was nice an clean. The over all hostel is clean and has a lovely old feel about it. Nice and quiet at night. All in all I got what I paid for. Very happy 😊
