We came here last minute to find a room for the night after being at the cliffs of Moore at sunset. We found it on booking.com It said the room was private with a private bath! We drove there to ask about it and found that, yes we would have a private room for the 3 of us and the bathroom was in the room. Not down the hall! We had 3 bunks and they were very sturdy and didn't shake or squeak. We paid about $80 euros for the night when everything else near by was 300-500 for the night! We were very happy with our stay. It was super quiet and the staff was great! Would highly recommend. We could have had 6 in the room. Perfect for a group or family. Take your own shampoo. They did have towels, sheets and pillows. The beds were very comfortable

I had booked two nights here but left after the first. The hostel itself is in a good location and the facilities are fine, but I felt very uneasy during my stay. There were a number of men hanging around outside, often watching people come and go, and it didn’t feel safe. What I later found out is that the hostel is being used as a direct provision centre housing refugees. In fact, a recent Clare Echo article reported that a man staying there was charged with assault. Knowing that made sense of the atmosphere I experienced, but I would have liked to have been made aware of this before booking. For me, it wasn’t a comfortable environment and I decided to move elsewhere. I would not recommend for solo travels.

Had a great time here, the staff were so friendly (especially Paola) the hostel was clean and had a great atmosphere. Good facilities and the garden space was lovely. So central to the village. Stayed in the family room and it was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again :)

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, friendly staff. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Beautiful garden area to sit and relax. Sebastian at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and will give you direction to the best sites this area has to offer. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Really great hostel. It is very close to the village and has a car parking. We stayed in a 6-bed room which was fresh and clean. The social areas have cool interior and there are lots of these areas and the kitchen is also big which is nice. The only negative aspects were that when we arrived there was no one in the reception and when we asked around they were just sitting in the kitchen instead of in the reception. Also the WiFi did not reach the rooms
