It was a great place to pass the time in Moadto Strip in Doljo beach. Very quite nook even when a lot of tables occupied. The vibe is homey. Loved their ice cream, especially the avocado flavor. Our son loved the chocolate flavor, too. Provided free appetizer bread with spread. The servings of spareribs was big, so you get your money's worth. But it's not as fall-off-the-bone as I would've liked compared to Mosa. My wife liked the seafood pasta, too. Stayed for maybe more than an hour and was able to even charge my phone while waiting for our early evening flight schedule.

Buzz Cafe in Anola Beach is a gem. The building is gorgeous, the staff is great, and the food really hits the spot! We started with their squash bread & spreads. I had a perfectly cooked steak, tender and juicy, with fries and a fresh salad. My wife and son shared a pizza that was surprisingly good, even without cassava flour. Highly recommend!

Google
Great food. Amazing food. I'm always impressed. I've been to all 3 Buzz/ and Bee Farm restaurants and I'm very impressed by each. The food is always amazing. No matter the dish I try. You just can't go wrong. I had carbonara and seafood lasagna. They also have complimentary bread with tasty spreads. Complete with a gift shop to bring home and share with family and friends. The ice cream is very flavorful with the fruit flavors. This one on Alona had a great view on the second floor too! Good stuff!!

Nice food... Very organic especially the rice and salad... Fresh na fresh... Including the flowers at the salad. With complimentary bread and nacho

Google
awful experience. We order roasted chicken that was dry and covered in some sort of very salty gravy and pork sisig that was all fat. When we complained that the pork dish had no meat their answer was that that is how they make this dish, no meat only organs, pig head and fat… needless to say, we won’t comeback here.

Regret not discovering the Bee Farm along Alona's shoreline earlier for a nicer first night, but life happens! The food is exceptional—fresh, organic, a paradise for vegans/vegetarians. Must-try: their irresistible ice creams, and I'd surely explore all flavors if I stayed longer. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and dining here offers a picturesque view of Panglao waters. Absolutely recommendable for a delightful experience!

Google
Ordered spicy mango pizza. The pizza was burnt, not spicy at all and mango was dried mango, not fresh. Staff were only laughing behind the desk which made us feel uncomfortable. No wifi and toilet was out of order.

Google
Great place to find local farmed produce alongside the white sand beaches of bohol! Amazing prices and portion sizes here with indoor and outdoor seating. Really nice coffees and fruit juices here. I enjoyed the mango flavour.

Yelp
The presentation was very pretty. Ambiance was great, had great views. Workers were really nice and worked fast. Everything was yummy !! My favorite was the grilled squid dish !

Yelp
I came here looking for their halo halo. This cafe is on Alona beach. Downstairs is a small store where you can buy goodies. Upstairs is an open seating area that overlooks the beach. Service was ok and the halo halos came quickly. You had a chiice of what ice creams you wanted, so I chose durian and mango, and the bf asked for ube and dragonfruit. The halo halos had fresh cut fruit as their goodies, not the typical candies and gellies you would expect. This disappointed me at first, but I appreciate the healthiness of if. We got up and left quickly after we finished, as one group of people was starting to get rowdy.

Yelp
What came from humble beginnings in 2002 has blossomed into a full-blown resort with several locations sprinkled around the Philippines. I love hearing about the success stories of local businesses and The Buzzz Farm is indeed one of them. Organic Garden Salad (P240) -- The most beautiful salad I have ever set my eyes on. I wasn't sure it would taste as good as it looked but all doubts were shutdown at first bite. The romaine lettuce, turnips and mustard greens were topped with incredibly colorful flowers that were so fresh with no imperfections whatsoever. The honey mustard dressing added a light sweetness which complemented the greens well. Mango Fruit Shake (P100) -- One of the freshest mango shakes and so refreshing on any given day. You can adjust the sweetness and also ask for no dairy, which basically makes it a blended juice. I had to keep myself from ordering more than 1 because of how quenching it was. Make sure you sit at a table along the deck so you can enjoy the oceanfront view. Don't forget to leave room for dessert; their homemade ice cream is made with organic ingredients!

Yelp
When I came to Bohol and asked the residents where's the best place to eat, they told me this cute fancy restaurant over looking the water. Food is good, reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly. I haven't taste their ice cream because I was so full from our main food. I loved the juices and food presentation. When we finished our dinner, we buy some crackers from their mini shop. They accept major credit cards. Lots of parking. No need reservation. And BTW, it's all organic food they sell inside even the food they served. I'll be coming back for the ice cream

Yelp
The place might be easy to overlook, but I'm glad I didn't. Stopped in for halo halo and it was the best I had during my trip. I wish I stopped in sooner so I could try their food. For halo halo, you choose 2 ice creams, the mix ins were all fresh fruit: watermelon, mango, banana. On top they put cassava honey chips and honey. Different than what halo halo usually has, but maybe that's why I liked it.

Yelp
* Price: 500 peso for 2 (with 3 dishes and drinks!) 4+ star! * Atmosphere: the restaurant is located up stair from the store with nice view of the strip and beach. Trendy and cute decor. Open air so make sure to bring your mosquito spray. 4 star. * Location: Alona Beach. Since the restaurant located up stair, you don't get bothered by street vendor and beggars. 4+ star. * Meals: excellent local food with local and fresh products from their farm. The honey and presto spread is very delicious! 4+ star. * Service: pleasant and friendly! 4 star. During our 3-day stay at Hennan resort, we came to this restaurant after reading their yelp review. Once again, thanks to yelp reviewers, we had a great time at this place and left with some of their bread spread bottles as gifts! Their bread spread is very delicious and different! We had mango and pesto spreads... Mango is tasty with strong mango flavor but salty and sweet! Pesto is Tangy! We had ribs, chicken adobo and seafood sinigang with two drinks for 750 peso or $15 USD. Ribs are very taty, tender with soysauce and sweet taste! Chichen adobo is tender, moist and perfectly seasoning with vinegar, bay leaf, peppercorn and soy causce. Sinigang is really tasty... Not as spicy and sour like Thai tom yum... But similar with milder taste! Overall, we love this place!

Yelp
The Buzz Cafe was a nice break from all the Filipino food and for those who seek healthier options. My company was used to eating organic and healthier options in the U.S. so this was a nice surprise to stumble upon. I had wished we had stumbled upon it sooner since we ended up eating here multiple times and loved it each time. I think it's a genius idea: organic Filipino food that's actually tasty too! I was in heaven since I am allergic to dairy and gluten. I wish I could eat their ice cream over and over again with all the tasty flavors. I couldn't believe that it was made of coconut milk and that the cone was gluten-free made of cassava. I was in pure heaven! My best friend who only eats fish and vegetables found their menu to be appealing with their vegetable and fish options, as well. Their salad is delicious in my opinion and their service was also great. I only wish I could eat at a Buzz Cafe now that I'm back in the US. Shoot, I wish there was one in Manila too. I think it would be so successful in a city like Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Vancouver where there are more people that are health conscious. Genius ice cream flavors for the lactose intolerant! I hope it makes its way to American markets someday. Please add cab cab chips to your online store. We couldn't get enough of eating these either. I also hope to try your wine since I was unable to buy it and regret it now. Great job, Buzz Cafe!

Yelp
The highlight of my review is on their halo-halo. It's not that pricey at Php 180/order and after finishing one order I can have another one if I didnt eat any main course. This is the first time I've had a halo-halo with honey and it's not that bad at all, it complimented the famous Filipino dessert with its thick consistency. The ingredients are not your typical halo-halo ingredients, instead you'll be surprised to taste something that you probably didn't even think would fit to be in halo-halo. I'm talking about watermelon, mango, sliced banana, honey (as I've said), and then it's topped with two scoops of their own ice cream. The best thing is you get to choose your own flavor. We've tried mango/ube, mango/melon and pandan/melon. We would want to try more combinations but we need to check out on our second day. This surely did an imprint to us, we can't express more how satisfied we are!

Yelp
This is a lovely little off site cafe from their main branch at the Bohol Bee Farm. No matter which Buzz Cafe you go to you will be satisfied. The Alona Beach site is charming with quality bites of food upstairs and and ice cream and snack shop down stairs. It's way different than the row of resto-bars that surround it. A sure bet is that you can easily order iced coffees, fruit shakes and frappes upstairs for take away. Get a good drink and sit under the palms in the sand and enjoy it. I've always favored the Mango Ginger Shake as well as their Honey Caramel Frappe. The cheeseburger and the spicy honey pizza also hit the spot after a few hours swimming. Finally the staff is always very attentive and respectful and that goes a long way with tourists with high expectations.

Yelp
Props to our boat guides for dropping us off in front of the buzzz which is a stone's throw from Hennan. We ended up going upstairs in their comfy cafe with nice beach views and got to try some yummy bohol bee farm goodies without having to make the drive to bohol bee farm. Wish we had more appetite when we went here coz we were too full to majorly order items. Coz once we tried a few of their delicious food, got curious about the other stuff on the menu. We ordered some shakes which were all natural and refreshing. When we tried the halo halo it's totally different because there was cheese and honey on top of the Ube and mango ice cream and the bottom had fresh fruits which was strangely different but in a good way. Make sure you order the cassava fish tacos. I was loving that clever cone of goodness and didn't want to share. I could eat that everyday! My hubby got a blue marlin special which came with pasta. I thought the pasta was really good and so was the fish but my hubby said the fish seemed overcooked (even if it wasn't crispy). Anywho, I would be down to come here everyday if I were back in bohol. We only got to try a few restaurants whilst there but this place was most memorable to me. It also helps that the price is just right.

Yelp
2.75 stars Just okay. It wasn't worth the walk down the beach in my opinion. I had the organic chicken with red rice and it was pretty bland. I wound up having to ask for more of the gravy they put on the chicken in order to make the rice taste better. I ordered a Mai Tai that I wound up having to send back because it was way too strong and full of cheap tasting liquor. The cassava chips were interesting though, and pretty good!

Yelp
I don't know what it is about this place but their ice cream cones are just different! Not to mention their ice cream flavors, like buko and melon were so rich flavorful and creamy. I definitely recommend if you're in the area or if you're staying at Henann beach resort which is just a short walk away!

Yelp
Just like the bee farm! I had to get the pizza and the ice cream was top notch! Staff was exceptional and cannot beat the prices. Would come back again in a heartbeat

Yelp
Favorite meal in the Philippines! The menu has some Filipino classics (lumpia) but also had salads and pizzas and other fresh veggie dishes that are familiar to a western traveler. I always find it hard to find a hearty salad while traveled but Buzz Cafe had what I needed. They also have incredible homemade ice cream - try the ube and honey flavors!

Yelp
Great ice cream-- had to go back thrice to try other interesting flavours! Not bad for Php 50 a scoop.

Yelp
I wish I could ship this place back to the US so I can eat it all day. I don't even know where to start. The cafe is perched up on a large hill (or small mountain, think either way) in a treehouse like restaurant with LOTS of seating. The menu is long- seafood, chicken, pork, vegetarian, pizzas, salads, drinks, smoothies, fruit juices, desserts- you get the picture. I'd highly recommend the spicy flower salad (beautifully presented and equally as tasteful with chocolate at the bottom for you protein lovers). The honey glazed chicken is also really great (glazed with honey made on their farm personally). All the juices and smoothies are great. For dessert, go big and get a 'Halo-Halo', totally shareable. You can also get an ice-cream cone from the stand!

Yelp
The spicy honey pizza is the best pizza that I have ever put in my mouth. Went here 4 times and everything was great.

Yelp
They have amazing ice cream here! I'd go here everyday! I loved the location and it was a very unique spot. Very nice staff as well.

Yelp
Upstairs is very nice, good healthy food, the service friendly, quick, I can't find anything bad to write about this restaurant, except if you go there daytime and it's hot outside, your heatstroke guaranteed, they have ceiling fans, and only one portable one, but it's not much of a help. So only go there at the evening.
