The Cactus Garden

What a great place this is! Years of dedication has made this old quarry into a great space with so many varied plants to see, it's a shame there is not more information about the different types though, it is always nice to educate yourself in these places, I had so many questions. The cafe is nice and has a great view over the garden, they do have various cacti based foods on the menu, we had the cactus burger, a bright red seeded bun with a bright green burger shaped thing in it, tasted a bit like mushy peas and guacamole, it wasn't for us. Free parking as there is everywhere on the island and it was a nice day out away from the wind

Fantastic place and well worth the trip. Manrique was a genius and it’s been a delight to see a number of different places that he created. It’s a popular destination but beautifully designed and created. Wonderful and €8 entry is a bargain.

If you love cacti then you will love this garden. Fabulous display of cacti, which look incredible against the dark stone and soil. Perfectly presented & curated. 100% recommended.

Enjoyed very much. Learnt about new plants. Biggest cacti I've seen in real life. The place is not massive but has multiple terreses to walk around. Not much room to hide from the sun, take care. A cute gift shop and an on site eatery with specialities. If traveling by public bus, get cash, and find the stops, they are not where you might expect them.

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem of as place. Beautiful gardens with over 4,500 varieties of cactus and they are so unique. The facilities are fantastic with a lovely cafe and gift shop so you can even take some cactus and aloe home. There are little ponds filled with fish and birds flying around and dipping into the pools. Well worth a visit to walk around, but be aware there is little cover so it is a heat trap and sun cream and hats are advised.

Stunning! So many varieties and as a family we all enjoyed different aspects of it. There's plenty to explore in the well designed and created garden. There's a windmill that's worth the short climb up the stairs for the views. We smacked at the cafe where wait staff were excellent. Table service and QR code menus in Spanish and English. We had cactus croquettes, cactus maki rolls and prickly pear juice. Exquisite and very reasonably priced. There is a small gift shop within the gardens which has unique and quality gifts. We bought tickets online but plenty of people turned up on the day and purchased tickets on the gate without delay. There are clean and well kept toilets, including wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Some areas are not fully accessible but if you have limited mobility or are a wheelchair user you will be able to enjoy the vast majority. Very young children may find this a little dull and a running toddler among all the cacti may be a recipe for disaster! Ages 5 upwards will find things of interest and it's a relatively small garden. A couple of shadier spots and further development of the pond area would further improve the experience.

Amazing place to visit especially if you're a botany nerd. So many different crazy cacti to see. Great architecture with the natural landscape. Could visit every day and not be bored. Lovely and quiet even though there were a lot of visitors. Hot in the July afternoon but you can sit in the cafe or on the terrace in the shade. Food and snacks available, friendly service, felt relaxing, not super expensive , decent local food, nice souvenir shop and lovely ambient music. Look out for the toilet sign designs! Great place definitely worth €8.50

A lot of cactuses, some over 10m high and some in really interesting shapes. Nice walk but quite a lot of people. Be aware for food in restaurant, it is really not worth it, rather enjoy a glass of wine only.
