We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming — especially Oscar, George, Lucas, and many others whose names we unfortunately can’t mention one by one. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Thank you so much, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

A great small pub for a meal. The bar was packed, clearly a popular spot to go. We could get a table in the bistro without booking which was great, although the area is small (this does make it more quiet). Beer garden was booked for a function but looks like a great spot to watch sport and enjoy a meal. Enough options on the menu with weekly specials a hit. Staff were lovely. Food came quickly. Definitely book in advance for larger groups.

Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Barramundi was good. My lamp rump was overcooked and full of gristle. But the side salad was delicious and the sweet potato fries were good.

Had dinner here tonight and was extremely disappointed. Coming from a town 1 hr away from the bay, we get fresher sea food back home. We ordered the Oysters Killpatrick and each oyster flesh was smaler than the size of my thumb nail. Had to search for the oyster amongst the bacon. Couldn't even taste them and they weren't attached to the shell and didn't seem fresh. For $45 a dozen, was expecting much better value for money and quality considering Warrnambool is by the bay. Also had the tasting plate. The battered fish looked and tasted like it was from a frozen supermarket packet. However, the 2 Calamari rings where delicious and tender. Overall, we won't be back anytime soon.

Lovely pub atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. There was a band advertised for Sat 4th October. Turns out it was a singer/guitarist. Still it was nice to have live music.

The location is excellent. It's been nicely updated and extended a few years ago. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were nice, but pricey for what you got. Music started up in the front bar, and we couldn't hear ourselves talking in the dining room. Nice place, but I won't rush back.

Amazing location in the city centre near the train station. Easy check-in and friendly staff. Can get bit noisy at nights with loud music from downstairs hotel. Recommend for price and room availability with easy to use shared bath and toilets.

Travelled from Melbourne by train for 1 nights stay at this hotel. We were very impressed as the service is excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant and we were not disappointed at all. All the staff are very friendly especially Lucas who bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this place as they have everything in the hotel and it’s walking distance to the station.

Yelp
I'm not really sure if this pub actually knows what it is supposed to be. On one side there is this facy pants restaurant, however you go over to the other side it is sort of an old man pub, but it has a menu offering food at fancy pants prices and having craft beer on tap. It is of - no actually it really baffled me - what's going on here. Mind you, it is probably in a bit of a transition, but it still seems to be one of those pubs that the locals regularly flock too, no matter what transformation it is undergoing. However, the front bar is still pretty tacky, though I suspect that that is not going to last too long.

Yelp
This place is full of things to do with the kids! Such as pool and arcade games. They had a diverse menu with something for everyone. I ordered a garlic pizza, one of the best pizzas I ever had. It was a bit small though, I also ordered the calamari bit bland but the huge drinks made up for it.
