The Calmtree Bungalows

We stayed for a couple of days in one of the bungalows in Canggu and had an amazing time. The bamboo bungalow had a unique charm and a special atmosphere, with an original outdoor bathroom that added to the experience. The staff were very kind, and the pool was great too. The location is also perfect—close to everything. Highly recommended!

The Calmtree Bungalows is strategically located near the beach and Love Anchor Market. It is a small and quiet area tucked away in the corner of a street. The owner is a down-to-earth person who is helpful and patient in handling our questions and requests. We had a peaceful stay at the hotel, thanks to the owner and staff. Kettle, toothpaste and toothbrushes can be provided. Overall, a clean and comfortable accommodation worth mentioning.

Had an amazing stay there! The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a villa with a private pool which was perfect. The main pool was really nice as well. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of juices. The location was great, it’s hidden away just right off the main street of Canggu so you can easily walk to all the shops/restaurants, beach and the beach clubs. Despite being close to the town it was very quiet and the only noise we heard at night was a tokay gecko 😅

I cannot recommend the Calmtree Bungalows enough. This is our second time staying here in the villas. It is a little peice of paradise in the heart of Canggu. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. The morning breakfast is amazing. The rooms are cleaned daily, it is extremely beautiful. We adore the Calmtree Bungalows and would not stay anywhere else while in Canggu. Thank you so much for having us again

We stopped here for a couple of nights in Canggu at the end of our Indonesian honeymoon. Really convenient location, walking distance from loads of great cafes, restaurants (and the excellent Canggu Tattoo Studio, if you are so inclined)|The beach is also a 10 min walk or 4 min Grab ride. ||Bungalows were great with cold A/C and comfy beds. Lovely outdoor shower and covered porch seating area to watch the rain. It's a small hotel with only 8 rooms I believe so it's lovely and quiet and you can always get a sunbed by the pool. ||Delicious dragonfruit granola bowls for breakfast||Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Very nice little place with charming typical bungalows around a pool. It is visually calm indeed. The swarming Canggu makes the place noisy most of the time though. Breakfast is very good and we were kindly received. It is about 30min on foot from the beach and close to lots of bars, shops and restaurants.

Pros: 1) Staffs are very friendly and helpful 2) Location is at the center of commercial area. super convenient to go anywhere 3) Rooms are nice considering the pirce 4) Breakfast is delicious Cons: 1) Very noisy neighbour who start playing loud music from 8 AM till 12 PM, waking up late during the holiday is simply not possible 2) Air conditioner is not cold enough 3) Some insects or animals are living between the roof and the ceiling. making constant noise

The room is not what I expected. As i am not the first time being in Bali, so i did have some expectation before reach. The room is spacious but not well maintain and still can observe some dirt. No indoor slipper provided & no welcome drink. Also, dont put ur food at the open air area overnight as it might be eaten by bird. But, the staffs there are so friendly & considerate. If u come here for surfing or any outdoor activities, its still a good choice as the location is quite strategic
