Staying at this boutique hotel was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. A special thanks to Christina, John-Michael, and Sarah for their incredible hospitality. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The rooms were absolutely unique, each with its own character and charm. Everything was impeccably clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better—situated right on historic Route 66, it was the perfect base for exploring the area. The combination of charm, cleanliness, and convenience makes this boutique hotel a true gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

This is the kind of place I dream of when it comes to hotels. I've seen reviews on various sites that said there was chipped paint on the walls, a throw rug that looked old, an armchair that was slightly worn. All true. Thank goodness. This place felt like home. As someone that has traveled quite a bit over the years it's refreshing to stay somewhere that "gets it".||The front desk was welcoming, ample parking, the room charming and comfortable. The easy chair was like an old friend when I sat in it. Ample lighting, a quiet space, comfortable bed, easy climate control. I think so many people consider the sterile modern everything chic and cutting edge to be what a hotel is supposed to be. Not me. I like to feel welcomed, to feel at ease and at home. Love seeing an old building renovated.||Part of the charm is that in a way it is imperfectly perfect. A paint chip here, creaky hardwood floor in spots, for me that makes it all the more attractive a place to spend a night. Zero issues and cannot say enough good things about the place. One I will for sure stay in again when I pass through Tulsa. Absolutely recommend.

Google
The room was elegant and the people were kind and helpful. If Stephen is working at the bar, definitely stop by. He is delightful and fun. Made delicious drinks from his own creativity and engaged in conversation. We will be back for sure, even if only for Stephen. Highly recommend.

Google
It's so cool and unlike any other motel in Tulsa. First of all It's incognito, like u would never even notice it was a motel from the street view, it looks like a store front but it has the big sign at the top. U pull around back to park and get to the front desk. BTW the back does not look like the front of a motel. Then it's such a mystery guessing what each room looks like inside because they are all different experiences and I think I had the best room there because there was big windows but very discreet and sexy vibe huge bathroom jacuzzi and separate stand up shower. 5 stars for me and no one would even know u were in town.

Google
What a fun boutique hotel. It may not stand out on the outside but inside is full of classic look and charm. The staff are all friendly. Accommodations are close to great food options and highways. Would recommend and will visit again

We got married on Saturday. We stayed in the Renaissance suite. We loved the theme and the vibe that it put off. There are a few things that could use a little bit of love. The drapes were loose in a couple of places from the track. There were no stirrers at the coffee station. The bathroom had natural stone elements throughout. It was absolutely remarkable. The light fixtures were beautiful. Very very classy.||The feel of the entire hotel, and the staff were amazing. We ran into and spoke with a couple of other people staying at the hotel, and they were very polite and had good conversation. The staff were very helpful and kind. Overall, we loved the stay and will certainly be back.

Google
Very comfortable suite with sitting room, bedroom and bath with jetted tub. Friendly and accommodating staff were very helpful with our function we held in one of the meeting/conference rooms. Great historic hotel that is close to T U, the stadium, downtown and the fairgrounds. Bar was good too. We enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel is a historic hotel. The rooms need upgrades. The toilet seat is worn out. The seats are not that expensive. I feel management should look into this. I discussed this with the guy on the front desk and he agreed with me about the toilet seats. The base boards in the rooms need to be cleaned too. Staff is awesome.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay in this historic, quirky hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfy and well-appointed, and the parking was plentiful and free! I wish the linens were more substantial, and the pillows more comfortable, but I managed. The one negative is that the gym is in need of some updated and upgraded equipment--and you have to go outside to get into it. Other than that and the fact that the hotel isn't that close to downtown, it's a great find and good value! ETA: The breakfast options are basically just pre-made muffins and snack bars, too, so be prepared to buy or bring your own food.

Julie P.

Yelp
No one should pay good money for this room, with peeled, chipped wallpaper and broken blinds, not to mention a dirty pillow. No contact from management after sharing concerns with front desk. A disappointing experience.

Yelp
Fantastic! Highly recommended! This is a wonderful hotel on historic Route 66 in Tulsa. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and rooms are very clean, located in a nice area. Convenient parking right at the door. We will stay here again.

Yelp
The hotel bar used to have an awesome bartender and a piano, but it's been a snooze since they got rid of the piano and the amazing staff. It's kind of a snooze now.

Yelp
Went for business trip with girlfriend, stayed at Campbell hotel, very impressed, we ended up changing rooms to honeymoon suite, Christina was awesome, I dropped girlfriend off at meeting and asked and surprised girlfriend with room change to honeymoon suite, thank you so much Christina, your the best!!!! Awesome service and very friendly, will definitely be back and would highly recommend

Yelp
This unique historical hotel was fantastic! Upon check in Latoya was very helpful and kind and accommodating! The decor is lovely and tasteful, parking was spacious and ample we were in a truck pulling a 30ft trailer and had plenty of room to perk behind the hotel. I really appreciated the extra outlets that were easily accessed on both sides of the bed to plug in our phone chargers! I also appreciated the light switch next to bed that turns on the lamp.. the room was entirely too cute! They had real black out curtains so my sleep was so sedulous and uninterrupted by sun light, the bed was super comfy.. I would only suggest maybe a few more pillows that were not so fluffy! They were a bit high for me but still comfortable so no complaint .. in the morning they had coffee, muffins, granola bars and a restaurant but we didn't have time to check it out. I'll definitely stay here again when in the area. Rate was great and the thoughtful conveniences really made the stay just perfect oh and the jacuzzi tub was the icong on the cake!

Yelp
Spacious, clean room and comfortable bed, we even had a small coffee bar. At check-in we had wonderful service but have not interacted with any other staff members. My guess would be they are very busy doing their jobs because everything is done so wonderful. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity. Lots of things nearby for a good walking tour and food of any kind.

Yelp
What a wonderful historic hotel with a Super location and helpful, attentive staff‼ Love the accommodations and furniture... Wonderful comfy bed... Awesome bar downstairs! Loved spending my birthday weekend at this hotel... We will be back!

Yelp
5 star for vibe, cleanliness, & HOSPITALITY! the place was beautiful, special and clean. the staff were so helpful and friendly. Ricki and John-Michael helped us resolve a mistake that WAS OUR FAULT & quickly. they were so nice and understanding and seemed more than willing to help us as much as they could. the rooms had everything you would need in a hotel room and everything was clean. the floors in the room were wood which I loved because I feel like they are cleaner than hotels with carpet. will not hesitate to book again next time we're passing through town!!!

Yelp
Great Boutique Hotel, lots of charm. Opened in it's current state in 2011, a decade in it needs a refresh. It's not unpleasant, but showing age. Maintenance needs improvement. Peeling paint, broken and faulty items. Heat lamp didn't work in beautiful oversized my double vanity, jet tub bathroom. Toilet wasn't refilling after flushes. Nice room amenities, coffee, fridge, microwave , nice TV and the mini split ac made keeping the room temps level was great. The Electric Fireplace was nice, we didn't use it's heat. The interior of the hotel was nice and in theme with the rest of the property. Being a historical building, I wish they were allowed to do some exterior beautification, but I know that's a whole other story. Neighborhood is a mix or sketchy and beautiful. Located near the beautiful grounds of UT and bewildering homeless and drug addiled. We felt safe though, nothing crazy, but provided some entertainment. The number of Canibus Dispensaries is staggering, they like to light it up in Tulsa. Staff was wonderful, were fast to address anything needed, and information. Quickest Check In in all my travels. They have a nice Bar in the Lobby that seemed very lively, while I didn't partake, was nice to see. Farewell Tulsa,

John A.

Yelp
We booked the honeymoon suite, a luxury price, mainly for the whirlpool bathtub. The water was lukewarm for the first few hours we were there, and only heated up by the end of the night. I expressed frustration that the sole purpose of our visit (luxury bathtub experience) wasn't even available, but the manage on duty just shrugged and offered to move us into a different room. I expressed frustration at check out, and was offered a discount for a future booking (although not the honeymoon suite, since that one isn't available for discounts). I was also told that a manager would be contacting us to make it right (which I naturally inferred to mean that they would discount our visit). Two days later I got an email asking if I'd leave a review. I responded, saying I never heard back about my complaint about the hot water, and was basically told that I was offered a future discount on a booking, and that the rooms around our room had hot water (so we must have been lying?!...). I gave the manager another opportunity to make it right. I'll update if that happens.

Yelp
We came up in November to watch our sons compete in the Route 66 half marathon. There wasn't a huge selection of hotels due to the race but found this and looked very nice. From the outside it doesn't resemble a hotel and we actually drove past it twice. As soon as you step inside though it's quite remarkable. Apparently it was a hotel turn of the century and went back to a grocery store and back to a hotel recently. They've spent some money remodeling it. Great coffee bar and old time bar in the lobby. The staff was super friendly also. The rooms are themed and different than a standard hotel room. More like your living room than a plain hotel room. We really enjoyed it. The breakfast at their hotel diner was complimentary but honestly not any better than Dennys. That's the only down side. I would stay here again though.

Valine M.

Yelp
My husband and I are driving Route 66 and are trying to stay at as many renovated vintage hotels as possible. My hub and I are in our mid 30s. We had a really comfortable time in this hotel. The service was wonderful. The Chanel Room was fun, clean, and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. I had a great night of sleep. The continental breakfast was nature valley breakfast bars from costco which I can't eat bc of allergies, but the coffee was great. I would stay at this place again. The decor was awesome. If you like vintage or retro decor, you'd love this place. It would be a fun place to stay for a bachelorette party bc of all of the fun photos you could take! I just got married so I'm still in that mindset. It's just a few miles from downtown. We took a $8 Lyft ride to downtown to a craft beer pub. We got back from dinner around 11pm and the receptionist greeted us with a smile and some kind words. I felt very comfortable and safe here.

Amy G.

Yelp
Beautifully restored, lots of antiques throughly, great staff at desk. Only issues were the bar area was closed so no drinks or snacks which was one of the reasons we booked it and a homeless man bugging us for smokes or money who just walked into the lobby.

Mark L.

Yelp
WHAT!!!? One Tulsatown's Greatest hidden jewels! There is a groovy little bar in this hotel that is a Must! A Resturant, Jane's Delicatessen on the corner of the building, and an Awesomely Quaint Hotel above. So back to the bar. Holds 30, so this is a perfect hideout to watch some football and catch up with friends!

Yelp
We came to Tulsa for just one night and found The Campbell by searching online. We had no idea what to expect but online it looked cool and funky and we were not disappointed. We loved the older building and its history. Our room was clean and cute. Like most boutique hotels, you have to enjoy the little quirks of the place and we did. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. On top of it all, the staff were fantastic. Really nice and helpful. Friendly and open. I would totally stay here the next time we come through Tulsa.

Jose H.

Yelp
We were here because of a work function. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the front doors. The manager was very sweet and upgraded our room "just because." We stayed in the equestrian room, which was a larger room filled with decor that followed the theme. The room was clean, large, and well-lit. The hotel itself was surprisingly luxurious. The hotel is close to a lot of amazing restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel that is tucked away from Tulsa downtown, check this place out. It truly is a hidden gem!

Yelp
I hate to even post this but we had such a bad experience with The Campbell Hotel. I called to reserve our room (221 - the Bridal Suite) and was told not to worry, it wasn't available online so it was for sure mine. The night before our stay, a pleasant front desk woman called to tell us there had been a mistake and that room was not available (we had been bumped). She was nice enough and offered us another room for 1/2 price. After picking another room, we were all set. Until we arrived. There wasn't anyone at the front desk - we had to sit for 15-20 minutes until a couple of people appeared behind the desk. Check-in was easy and we headed up to our room. The key wouldn't work so my husband went downstairs to get a replacement. He was told they had been having "trouble" with that lock and we might have to move if the new key didn't work. And, of course, it didn't. After being moved to a new room, my husband entered only to find that it looked like someone had just left - the room was dirty and had not been made up! The bed had been slept in and there was a wet towel on the couch. We opted to leave and head down to the Ambassador Hotel instead. We are locals and were really looking forward to a romantic night away from home. Not only did the hotel lose money on what could have been regular patrons of the hotel, but the bar/lounge lost money as well as the restaurant (which I've heard excellent things about!!!). Although the front desk associate was very pleasant, I would not recommend this hotel. Ever.

Rebekah W.

Yelp
Very disappointed. After lots of looking for a weekend getaway, we called & booked a specific room here for an anniversary getaway. We have a confirmation email. We drove several hours, checked in efficiently and went to our room - only it wasn't the one we booked. My husband immediately went downstairs as was told there was a note that we had been moved by the GM & we were offered a 50% discount and two brownies. When you arrange childcare for nine children and are looking forward to a long soak in a whirlpool tub & a reading lounge and get them taken away without so much as a courtesy call it is *not* a pleasant start. (After 35+ minutes, they were able to move us into a room with no windows but a whirlpool tub. Apparently whomever AT THEIR HOTEL booked our reservation neglected to check a "do not move" box [despite my husband being very clear about the room requested and confirming a second time before ending the call]. We have booked *many* B&B and boutique hotels and have *never* had this happen.

Zachary W.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick drink at the lounge with friends. The lounge itself is small, but you can take your drink out into the hotel lobby if you would like. Decent beer selection, but nothing really unique. Lots of your standards and a few internationals. Prices high though. Two beers was $14.

Linda K.

Yelp
Mold found along ledge of window with my first room. I got asked what I would like to do about it? My second room had no shower curtain, there was dirt that I could feel underneath my feet, and the bathroom smelled musty like an old basement. Not all of the lights worked in the bathroom so it was very dim and the window edges had small areas of mold on it as well (but not as bad as the first room). The front desk staff couldn't tell me where the spa was located but ensured me that if I tried to find it, the hotel wasn't very big? The bed in my second room was very worn down as you sunk in whenever you sat on the bed. This is the first time I have stayed here and I would not recommend to come back unless they can get rid of the mold (very old building) and change out their staff.

Donna H.

Yelp
Love this place!!!! I called for reservation and got a discount from online prices. Love the renovated building. Love the refinished wood floors on the 2nd floor, but that could be noisy with people walking in high heels. Very nice employees. So many extras...especially the brownies from Sweets and Cream! Love the Keurig and all the K-cups. Seating areas downstairs and upstairs. Down to basics, such a comfy mattress and pillows. Nice TV. Wish the shower had more power, but I can understand water conservation. Wish the white bath mat had actually been white and not had black stains on it. I was on the street side, but traffic did not bother me. The bar has a door to the street for locals to enter. Spa on site!!! Massage!!! Love the room safe being large enough for a laptop! Don't waste calories on the attached Jane's Deli. Look at the website to see all the amenities. There was hand sanatizer at the desk and employees did wear masks. Annoying, the toilet ran and cut off repeatedly, at night not appreciated. Breakfast was granola bars and gigantic Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, no fruit or anything healthy.

Jacquelyn F.

Yelp
My husband and I were staying in Tulsa for the weekend and booked a reservation elsewhere before ending up at the Campbell. Boy are we glad we made the switch! The staff is SO friendly. Lindsay went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed when we arrived. The rooms are very kitchy - and unique so if that's not your thing I don't suggest you stay here - but we love that sort of thing. Each of the rooms are themed and we stayed in "The Rose Bowl". Very comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Very clean. My only complaint is the area. It's just far enough away from downtown that you have to take transportation (car, uber) to get to most of the places you'd want to go.

Cindy H.

Yelp
Stayed the night as a Valentine's Day celebration. From the outside you wouldn't think much about the building. It's an old 2-story brick building on 11th Street (Route 66) near Bama Pies. Only 26 rooms. It's on the national historic registry and was built in 1927. Cool interior with small lounge/bar. We stayed in the Bama Suite. Very comfortable 4 poster, king bed. Very quiet, didn't hear a peep from our neighbors. Some street noise. Service was exceptional from check-in to departure. Victoria checked us in and was extremely helpful and kind. John checked us out and again same demeanor with pride in what he does. We needed 2 more pillows for our bed at 11:15pm, front desk personally delivered them within minutes. Had a drink in the lounge before heading to bed. Looking for a unique stay? This is a very good option. Prices aren't bad and once they have a new restaurant in the building you could walk down for an easy meal.

Jillian N.

Yelp
The rooms were cute, but for the price tag we paid we were extremely underwhelmed with the service & food. Armature hour at the front desk with lots of issues that took a long time to resolve and no real closure. A fun decorated hotel, but definitely not a high end hotel. When I mentioned all the issues we had to the new front desk person in the morning, he seemed to be listening nicely and then was like "oh. that sux." with no resolve. With all the issues we had we expected some reduction in rate (which was pretty high!)

Ananda F.

Yelp
This is a little gem. Originally themed, Beautiful clean rooms. Friendly staff. Includes free made to order breakfast in the adjoining Maxwell's Restaurant.

Marisa B.

Yelp
Stayed here one night with family over the weekend. The interior is very pretty, and from what I've heard, newly renovated. We stayed in room 223 which had a cute Route 66 theme. The furniture and room were clean. The room was very cold when we arrived, which we all loved. The breakfast in the morning was in the nearby Maxwell House, which is the only reason my review is 4 stars. The breakfast was a little underwhelming, unfortunately. Great stay otherwise! Would probably stay here again.

Melanie T.

Yelp
By far, one of the worst hotels I've been to. The sheets were dirty and stained. When we asked them for new sheets, they didn't seem surprised by the fact that they hadn't been changed. Gross!! The bathroom sink didn't drain. We could hear everyone in the rooms next to us. We had a "suite" with a possible attachment to the room next to us. There was at least 3 or 4 inches underneath those doors...enough to see their reflections in the dirty hard wood floors. The furniture was extremely old and dirty. Had to complain about someone doing some kind of hammering in their room during the night. Absolute worst experience I've had in a hotel. Didn't even feel comfortable enough to shower before we checked out. Our bill was almost $300 for one night!!

Diamonds Y.

Yelp
The hotel is great. They give you brownies which is nice. Everything is nice, the beds are nice. The lady up front was nice. The fashion is is old but nice. It's a expansive but worth it.

K W.

Yelp
Our family stayed here for a wedding. Awesome staff; everyone so helpful. Rooms are nicely outfitted. Restaurant attached. Sadly, I didn't get to partake of the spa or lovely bar. If you have to stay in Tulsa, this is the place. If I have any critique, it was that I had tv remote issues and the shower water pressure isn't as strong as I would have liked. But considering the hotel was built in the 1920's it was passable and the shower in our room was huge. Really, a great place and so convenient.

Brittany O.

Yelp
I stayed here in October 2019 and didn't really know what to expect since this hotel did not exist when I was in Tulsa and it appeared to be an antique, boutique hotel. That's exactly what it was and that's not usually my style. It has one elevator, loud wooden floors, and no central air and heat in the rooms at least. It was freezing when I checked in and I was not excited about the mounted heater on the wall. It took me forever to figure it out and I even had to have the gentlemen at the front desk come help me. Luckily, the room heated up quicker than I expected and that heater was powerful. I recommended pre-heating the rooms when you know a guest is checking in, especially when it's soooo cold outside. The bed was comfortable and I looked forward to the advertised continental breakfast the next morning. I walked past a display of individually packaged muffins looking for breakfast only to discover that those muffins were the breakfast. Sigh. I had to alter my plans to get breakfast elsewhere. I would stay here again on business if needed, but it's probably not a hotel I would choose on my own. If these kinds of hotels are your thing though, I think you would love it!

Paul H.

Yelp
Initially, I was pissed that my assistant hadn't been able to get me into my usual downtown Tulsa hotel (I travel there often). When she told me she'd found me what looked like a "cool boutique" hotel, I was pretty "iffy" on it because that often means it's a dump. I'm so glad she found this place. The location, in the heart of the old Route 66 area lends the place a very cool feel. A bygone era of roadside camps, gas stations with full service and diners with "Blue Plate Specials" for 85 cents. I'll echo the other comments about the decor...it has a very cool feel to it, with interesting furniture and nice quality renovation. My room was a hoot...sort of a western get up, little buckaroo bunkhouse thing. There was a "worn" look to the furniture, but appropriately so. The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was well-appointed. There's a nice little bar downstairs with a good staff. In fact, all of the staff were very nice. I liked the fact that the parking was so convenient. They offer a free breakfast at the Maxwell which is just down a hallway. It wasn't some bullshit breakfast like you get at a La Quinta either, with crappy, stale pastries and bratty kids fouling up waffle irons. It was a hearty sit down breakfast, with choices of a full country style bacon and eggs meal, a fruit plate or biscuits and gravy. Service in the cafe was excellent. I plan to make this my regular hotel for future trips to Tulsa.

Yelp
We stayed at The Campbell Hotel while on a music tour. The moment we walked in, we felt as if we were walking through history. The building is beautiful, the decor is rustic with a modern touch, and the hospitality was great. Upon entering our room, we were blown away with the size and warm feeling it gave us. We were happy to call our room home for 2 nights! The toiletries provided were better quality than most, the keurig in the room was nice, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We hear each room is a different theme decorated by different designers. We'd love to return and stay in a different room each time. It's location on Route 66 is wonderful... if those walls could talk! Right next door is a restaurant that stayed open later (which was great because we checked in later in the evening). The food was fabulous and staff provided entertaining conversation. When in Tulsa, this will be our accommodation of choice. Thanks for the comfortable stay.

Chuck M.

Yelp
My wife and I took our hotrod from Ca to Springfield Il for the Route 66 Mother Road Show and stopped in Tulsa for another car show that is held every year at the Baptist Church. We decided to stay at the Campbell. I read the other reviews and thought it would be a cool place to stay... We have stayed in many old renovated hotels, The St Francis, The Drake, The Mark Hopkins, The Huntington, The Del Coronado and others, these were and are Elegant hotels.... The only way I can sum up the hotel is "you can dress a pig and put lipstick on it and its still a pig". I can't imagine what would induce someone to provide a positive review of this place, maybe family, friends, employees???? Maybe someone who stayed at a Super 8 in downtown Bakersfield and thought this was an upgrade. We stayed two nights (tried to cancel the second night but the manager wouldn't accommodate that. The beds in both rooms were so worn out that you rolled to the center and we had two different rooms. The owners need to replace these mattresses. They only have 1 luggage cart for the entire hotel, and no offer to help with luggage (the comment from the front office clerk was "I have no idea where it is and if I did I couldn't make them give it up"... the bartender in the restaurant does not have a clue how to make a mixed drink. Questionable area around the hotel... There was a party in the hotel that went until 2 am the rooms have no soundproofing at all and it was impossible to sleep. Positives friendly waitress in the restaurant.

Yelp
Hey there Tulsa, I see you. Gettin' all growed up and the like. Nestled steps from the University of Tulsa, the Campbell was a welcome surprise. I stayed at the hotel for a night while doing some business with TU. The hotel was recommended by the University. When we drove up we were a little skeptical. It ain't the prettiest gal at the ball from the outside, but once you get inside, BAM, prom queen. The lobby is warm and welcoming with a large fire place. Then you head up a wide stair case, probably original to the building, to the floor with the rooms. The layout reminded me of an ol' timey brothel for some reason. Each room is themed which can easily go awry, but Campbell pulls it off nicely. I stayed in the Side Saddle Room. It was girlie without it being over the top. The bed was comfy with a ton of pillows. The bathroom was a nice mix of modern amenities with cute vintage touches like the claw foot tub. Fantastic boutique hotel in Tulsa! Support a local business. It would be an excellent place to stay before a TU Football or Basketball game.

Yelp
What a disappointment for a beautiful hotel with so much potential. In a nutshell, unprofessional employees, a confused sales staff, odd rooms, long hallways that echo every little sound, no food, and hookers. We visited the hotel after speaking with three different people about hosting an event in their event space which is lovely! After three different stories, three different proposals (with different prices), and multiple phone calls, we decided to drive to Tulsa and just see for ourselves. One of our sales contacts 'booked' our room. When we arrived, there was no reservation and the only available room was substantially more than we were told. That was the universe telling us to leave; we didn't listen. The clerk was unsympathetic and told us that 'they screw up all the time' and then laughed and said "Hey, we need the money, what's a little extra?" We ended up paying a lot of money for a room that was quirky and cool, but poorly thought out. There was no room for a computer, the bathroom had a odd step that kept tripping us, and the only place to sit was the bed, an ugly, uncomfortable chair, or a delicate chair by the tiny vanity. The bed was comfortable and there was a little refrigerator. The coffee maker was nifty, but it was hard to get excited about Folger's coffee. There is no food offered at the hotel, but they offer cereal and yogurt in the lobby. And do-it-yourself Folger's coffee (I guess they're really proud of their Keurigs!). The desk clerk would not get off a cell phone long enough to suggest a place for dinner, but the hookers in the parking lot pointed us to 'Cherry Street.' Don't laugh, that's what she said! Oh yes, we could have had drinks in the 'bar' that looks more like a shoe-shine stand and was full of college kids. That night, we thought the hooker and the college kids were having a fraternity party in the hallway. While the noise came from the far side of the hotel, the sound bounced throughout the hotel. Guests commiserated in the hallways and calls to the front desk did no good. But the rattle of the air conditioner helped mask the noise! We woke to sunlight streaming through the flimsy curtains the next day. We had our appointment with the sales person and toured the space we were considering for our event. As stated earlier, the space is beautiful. We heard all about the hotel's history (neat), how the owners were clueless and difficult (really?!), and how they were hiring a new manager to sort things out (hopeful). But when we heard yet a fourth proposal, we decided to really look at all of the mistakes we'd already seen. In the end, the level of service we received demonstrated the care our guests would receive and we ended up booking elsewhere. Which is a shame, because this could be a cool place!

Yelp
Definitely worth the money. The place had character, which I look for in my "Boutique" Hotels. The staff are a pleasure, and I've never meet a kinder housekeeper than "Mama Lisa". She makes you feel like family. The bar is small, and has a good selection of poisons for it's size. Justin, the bartender, has spoiled me with his amazing martinis:) I so look forward to visiting the bar after a long drive from Austin. Every room has a different theme; I can vouch for at least 3 different rooms, and I appreciate the time and effort into the design. Love the bathroom heaters. Oh, and their towels! Also they just added a brand new restaurant in the hotel, breakfast is now walking distance!!

Yelp
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. In a great area with super friendly staff who were all wearing their masks and practicing social distancing well!

Yelp
Nice boutique hotel for a reasonable price. Full disclosure I have worked here so I am a little biased. The rooms are all unique leaving something for everyone. Onsite restaurant and bar means you have all you need for your stay. Locals and travelers use the facility for a great night out on the town and an elegant overnight stay. My wife and I had the honeymoon sweet on our honeymoon and they treated us lovely. Enjoy!

Yelp
Oh my god, I can't say enough about this old school boutique hotel on historic Rt 66. I stayed first about 4-5 months ago on a cold, chilly winter night. That night I ended up in the Leon Russell room. Meticulously decorated to honor the late Russell, you feel like you are in a unique room. The room is smaller than expected and it might be too small for Two people, especially if your gentleman friend is larger. But for me, this was perfect for a relaxation spot. The cool colors were soothing. I decided to a second day and just relaxed. Didn't leave the room. I recently returned and was put in a larger sweet just as beautiful. My only complaint was the skylight woke me up early but I quickly went back to sleep. The hardwood floors are gorgeous, the bathrooms pure luxury, but most important, beds are perfect. Every detail is.

Yelp
I have been to this hotel 7 times since February. Each time I stay I pick a new room. Try to get a tour or check out their web site before booking. Every room was designed by a different designer and unique. All the rooms are pure luxury. Linen, furniture, floors, deep soaker tubs and more. I feel like I have escaped the daily pressures of life and don't want to leave. Can't wait to stay again.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights while on a work trip. Check-in was easy and I was originally assigned to room 209. When I first walked into the room I found a bloody band-aid on the top blanket of the bed. I grabbed a tissue and flushed it telling myself that it must have stayed stuck on through the wash. (now I'm questioning if they even wash the top blanket at all) The next morning I found bedbugs in the sheets. At this point I'd had enough. I mentioned the bedbugs to the front desk, and showed the the pictures I'd taken. The guy at the front desk seemed somewhat concerned (although not apologetic) and assigned me to room 220. I asked him if this was a common thing there, and he said no. So I packed up all my stuff and changed rooms. It should be noted that I had to do this on my lunch break since I was there for work and couldn't be late in the morning. So aside from missing breakfast, I also missed lunch. Once in the new room, it was hard to shake the issues I'd had in the old room. The next morning after a rough night on a lumpy mattress I asked about the "free" breakfast mentioned on the website. Only to be told that the "free breakfast" isn't provided at the government rate... Sigh, I mean it's fine, but this stay was just one disappointment followed by another, with zero compensation and not really even an apology. Now that I'm home I've got to take extra precautions bringing my luggage into my home, washing clothes in hot water and fogging my bag. For me, the "cute-ness" of the the hotel wasn't worth the significant hassle that came with it.

Yelp
Recently I had the opportunity to Travel to Tulsa on business (again) & stay at the charming Campbell (again). Do you know how critics say the sequel to a blockbuster movie is never as good as the original? Well, that definitely does NOT relate to The Campbell. My sophomore stay in the historic Campbell was even better than the first time around. Things I love about the Campbell that cause all other hotels to pale in comparison: the Kuerig (both in each room AND in the lobby/breakfast area), the HUGE flat screen TVs with tons o'channels - I can't say for certain what size the televisions are but they seem like movie screens, the complimentary Campbell plush terry-cloth robe that is always waiting for me in the closet, the REMOTE CONTROL CLIMATE MACHINE THINGIES (YES! When you're all nice and comfy in the snuggly high thread count sheets you can turn DOWN the air as you're lulling into a deep sleep and turn the heat up before your toes ever have to touch the gorgeous hardwood floor the next morning), and the cute as a button adjoining bar I tried for the first time. They know their wines and the appetizer crackers were not run of the mill. This was only my 2nd trip to the Campbell. I'm coming back in January and can't wait! First I stayed in the Rose Bowl Room where I channeled Marilyn Monroe's spirit in the mid-century glamness of black, white, silver, and red decadence. This time I was fortunate enough to stay in the Renaissance Room. Seriously, the bed is in the center of the room and the canopy seemed to be 20 feet tall. I thought a medieval prince was about to call my name out from the street and ask me to lower my hair down for him! One can always wish, right? My only question? Who will I get to be next time? Well done, Campbell, well done.

Yelp
This place used to be great. The owner let go of some really great employees or their employees got tired of the piss poor attitude from the owner. He treats his workers like people treat their sneakers, like crap. The restaurant used to be good too, but since a year and a half ago it too has gone downhill. Much like the owners attitude. Years ago I'd of given this place a 4 or 5 star, but sadly because of the way I've seen the owner treats his employees, I've watched an establishment go from a place I would recommend to everyone to a place I would tell people to avoid. All because the owner doesn't care.

Yelp
We have made this a regular stay on date nights, always enjoy the decor, the bar , the staff and the feeling of nostalgia.

Yelp
I travel to Tulsa frequently, and I am very happy to have found this little hotel. Great decor and very nicely appointed rooms. The staff has been very professional, and I really enjoy having a bar in the hotel so I can have a glass of wine before going to bed. I thought the complementary breakfast was fantastic - the best by far of any hotel that I've stayed at in Tulsa. It's best to request a room that does not face the busy Main Street that the hotel sits on.I have one suggestion that would greatly improve my experience, however: better showerheads. I really wish American hotels would adopt the use of hand held shower heads. The ones in the rooms I've stayed in are not only fixed, they are not adjustable at all. The spray was thin and not very soothing. But overall I really like the place, and I intend to stay there any time I go to Tulsa

Yelp
We had planned our son & his fiancé wedding at another Venue a year in advance. We found out 4 days before their wedding that the venue had messed up our reservation so we had to find another place. I called Campbell Hotel & Event Center and they stepped up and turned a very stressful time into a awesome experience. All of the staff went above & beyond the normal to make sure everything was perfect. They all helped make the wedding a beautiful and fun time. We also booked several rooms in their hotel for out of town guests and everyone had a great experience there as well. I would highly recommend the hotel and event center

Yelp
I have only stayed here once (since I live in Tulsa) but I wanted to see all the renovations they did. GORGEOUS. And their banquet rooms chandeliers are to die for! I'd recommend this hotel to out of town guests.

Yelp
I stayed at The Campbell for a wedding. The rooms are very unique & cute. The staff was friendly. My only concern was the cleanliness. It appears to be clean, but when I got into bed I felt something in the sheets & it was an iPhone charger..... That wasn't mine. It was INBETWEEN the sheets, so if they would have changed the sheets between visits- it wouldn't have been there. I told the guy at the front desk and he just said "thanks for telling me" and didn't offer to get a manager. I was thinking I deserved a discounted night or some sort of compensation for something that unsanitary. Needless to say, I won't stay there again. The hotel bar & restaurant was nice, I would recommend them!
