Google
Honig Napa Cab… it was an honorable visit with a friend from Israel, who said that she felt very safe and comfortable and totally enjoyed then experience at this establishment. She felt “no racism here” her words .. we had a good time … I had the Honig Cab X2 … or 3… I lost count …she had Negroni. Great service … amazing experience. They have a Moet vending machine as shown. Please forgive me. I did not try the food. I just was focused on drinks on this visit.

Google
Great selection of local whisky, and a very viby space I'd totally recommend for a nightcap, though I do wish the bartender knew a little more about some of the more local spirits.

Had after dinner drinks with friends. Right place for conversations. Good whisky selection

Went last night with family. Bartenders were very rude. Didn’t look at us as we stood waiting to order, just to say they’d be with us. We stood behind a chair and waited for our drinks when one of the bartenders told my daughter to move so another patron could sit. She was trying to pay her bill. If they would have taken care of her, the other patron could have sat down much earlier. Very rude staff, won’t be back.

Amazing little Whiskey Bar inside the Pendry. Very talented staff and very cool ambiance. Pricey, but worth the money.

Google
The perfect place after a night out to the vagabond theater across the square. Stopped in for a nightcap after a fantastic show. Found the place lively and energetic - just fine for a Saturday night out. The decor welcomes you to settle in with friends. The crowd was clearly in a great mood which ensured we continued our own. Top that off with great drink professionally made.. thank you!

Google
Outstanding bar, awesome bartenders. Atmosphere set just right (‘inside voices’ suffice for good conversation) and you can show up as a single or with a crowd. Dress sharp and enjoy yourself here with some great bourbon and wonderfully crafted cocktails. Will come back if i get to come back to Baltimore.

The bartender there named Ezra was amazing will definitely be be back we had a great time!

Yelp
Their boozy tea is such a fun twist on high tea, cocktail-centric vs bubbles and a bit more casual than your traditional tea. They had a series of three tea-based cocktails paired with sweet and savory bites. All delicious! Indoor and outdoor seating (next time I'd consider requesting outdoor seating at booking, it was a bit dark inside). I will definitely be back.

Yelp
What a cool kinda "speakeasy" at the Pendry! We tried an assortment of the whiskey based cocktails and enjoyed a nice intimate gathering of friends. What I like the most is the decor and the seating - very cozy and elegant. The bartenders are so skilled at making cocktails, I love talking to them about their experiences. Overall, a great whiskey bar!

Yelp
This hidden gem is so chill. It's located inside the Sagamore. Ambiance is perfect. I went on a Monday evening and there was only 2 ppl at the bar. (Just how I like it). Cocktails were not cheap, but I already know how these spots are. Bartender was nice and professional. I tried their burger and fries, 10/10. I'll def be visiting again ASAP!

Yelp
I'm going to call The Cannon Room a hidden gem, because you might not know about it (without reading about it on Yelp, of course). Even once we got inside the Sagamore Pentry, we had to ask for directions to the Cannon Room anyway, because it's tucked away in the back. But the ambiance, the comfort, the decor, and the whiskey selections are all top notch. There are some very good surprise finds on the menu, but unfortunately others know about them, and we were told some of those are often gone within a week. Customers not staying at the hotel will have to start a tab with a charge card. If you're looking for a higher-end whiskey experience in the area, this is your place.

Yelp
Such a cute spot to get drinks in Baltimore. This hotel bar is hidden in the back of the hotel and it has really good cocktails! I love the maple thyme old fashion. It had a perfect mix of sweetness and I liked the touch of thyme flavor. Also the sorrel mule was good! It was fizzy and it had a really gingery flavor which I loved. They have bourbon tasting which was fun too! Such a fun place to hang out with friends for a night!

Yelp
We decided to stop here on a whim. The atmosphere was awesome! It is a beautiful cozy / intimate room. The drinks were great. The patio area outside of this room is absolutely stunning at night.

Yelp
Such an intimate cozy spot for a nightcap. I loved the cozy and upscale vibe of this place. The service was super friendly. I think this is the perfect spot for a date night night cap. It's very intimate and romantic. Seating is limited but it wasn't too crowded when I went.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem after a ghost tour. The ambiance is inviting and warm. Service was excellent. Upon ordering a beverage, we were told they were out of it, so we ordered two other drinks. A few minutes later, we were told the bartender made a mistake, and they could, in fact, make the requested drink. And a moment after that, said beverage appeared on the table. They were all quite yummy. The seating is comfortable, so grab a drink and stay a while.

Yelp
Bartender was very friendly for a family of 10 that sat down at the bar. We all got different drinks. I had the Manhattan which was amazing. Sagamore Rye whiskey is something that you want to try. Smooooth very smooth.

Yelp
This place is cool but not cool in the chic, modern, uptight sense. It's cool in the classic, timeless elegance sense of cool. It's the kind of place that is evocative of the prohibition and gilded era and the prices frankly reflect that. However the quality of the cocktails is pretty much unmatched so you do get what you pay for. The service was also perfectly invisible and there when you need them, which is a certain attention to detail that you usually only find in the most upscale places. Would go again!

Yelp
Let me tell you! This place is uber fancy, more than the likes of me. But! A buddy and I popped in for a pint, and it was a great experience. Sat down and our server Jessica was amazing! Had good recommendations and she was knowledgeable. Management... give her a raise! I'll be telling all my colleagues about this place if we ever need to host a business meet. Can't wait until we come back. Thanks jessica!

Yelp
If I could double the stars, I would, because The Cannon Room is *that* good in every regard. We started with drinks: a Rye for my husband and The Cannon Room's signature Rye in a Whiskey Sour for me. If only every bartender knew how to make a cocktail as perfect as this drink. No egregiously excessive straight liquor, it was perfectly balanced, refreshing and utterly delicious. My young daughter asked for lemonade and she was given a freshly made lemonade! We decided to order dinner too, and we are very (very) glad we did. She and I shared the filet mignon, with broccolini and potatoes sides. My husband had rack of lamb. It was all absolutely delicious: we left nothing on the serving plates My husband sampled two more whiskies over the course of the evening, and I had the Sorrel Mule, which was another grand slam of refreshing tastes. We loved the ambiance, drinks, food and superb service so much we want to get back asap for more of all of it. Thank you Cannon Room staff: please know that we appreciated your hospitality.

Yelp
Came on a Friday evening for a drink with my fiance and our friends, as we were visiting them for the wknd. Service was efficient and friendly, the room was romantic / cozy. Drinks are a lil expensive, but really tasty. I loved my last word cocktail. The truffle fries were out of bounds - could've had those to myself for dinner!! I sat along the couch area to the right just as you walk in, and I'm 100% docking a star because the pillows in that area are literally the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever touched in my life. I had visible scratches on my arms from these pillows (insert crying laughing face here)...I ended up having my friend move them to the floor bc I just couldn't. They look nice but holy smokes we need some function over fashion in this scenario. Long story short - come for a cocktail & truffle fries, wear sleeves.

Yelp
3.5 stars really. Stopped by for some cocktails when in Baltimore recently. The atmosphere is awesome - beautiful hotel and the room itself is perfect for cocktails while you can see the actual cannon built into the floor itself! The service was lacking even though we went early-ish in the evening and it wasn't yet busy but we had to wait quite a while for someone to provide us menus. While the cocktail my gf and I got were good, I would certainly hesitate to say they were $16 good. That's a pricey cocktail even in DC, Boston, or Chicago so I wasn't quite expecting that in Baltimore.

Yelp
Drinks were delicious, albeit very pricey...Their prices are comparable to places in DC. However, I think that they are top notch. Very well balanced, with the right amount of alcohol, but also some bitters and sweetness so that you feel like it's a cocktail, not straight whiskey. It's a small and dark bar, with some dark wood and of course, the cannon in the floor. They do, though, have the option of taking your drink elsewhere in the hotel, so I opted to sit in the courtyard. The courtyard is lovely!

Yelp
Located inside the new Sagamore Pendry Baltimore hotel, right off the water at fell's point. After you walk into the hotel, be sure to ask for the whiskey bar entrance and they will show you the way. The bar is not huge but very cozy and private. I would say it's perfect for date night or small gathering. We tried 2 different cocktails, one is very impressive and one just okay. But to me, a $20 drinks is over priced even with the nice decoration and atmosphere they have it here, especially when there's so many other options in that area. It would be nice to have a couple fancy drinks once in a while, but maybe won't be coming too often.

Yelp
This was the first time my wife and I went out since our second was born back in October. We couldn't score a res in the dining room, but we were directed to two seats at the bar in the The Cannon Room. Beautiful secluded area where the lighting was ideally dim. The music was set to the right decibel level; soft enough to hear your partner and loud enough to block out other conversations. Drink + food were both great. My "Brown Derby #2" with cognac was superb and the tiramisu rich with rum. This next part is going to sound cheesy, but I dish it out when establishments deserve it. So, what I'm about to write is God's honest truth: Kat & Ezra, our bartenders, pushed our evening over the top. They took such pride in their work and their demeanor was friendly and welcoming. Sitting at their 'well' was a much needed respite for two wary parents from The County. They really made our evening one that we will remember fondly for years to come. If you are from Baltimore or just visiting, this place is worth the stop.

Yelp
Really high end, it's a small separate area where you need to ask the reception. I feel they also control the number of people in the room. I'd recommend trying their house distilled whiskey sagemore rye whiskey, but do expect to out $20 for one cocktail.

Yelp
Classy Bar in the Pendry Hotel full of history (cannon from the 1600s on full display) Excellent place for a nightcap and intimate conversations. Beautiful Decor and friendly bartender

Yelp
Awesome spot in the new Sagamore hotel. This place is beautifully decorated inside (like the entire hotel) and built like a boat, with curved ceilings. The cocktails were awesome - albeit $16 a pop. Matches the decor and feel of the entire place. Great date spot. I assume the reason they call it the cannon room is because there is a cannon in the floor that you walk on top of when you enter the place. It was found when they were building the hotel and dates back to the 1600s. Pretty sweet!

Yelp
The Cannon Room has always been special for my boyfriend and me since we had our first date there, but last nights experience made it so much more special! We went back just to have a glass of wine and enjoy the incredible truffle fries, but ended up staying for a few hours. Jess is an amazing bartender and makes a perfect old fashioned! She entertained us all night and definitely added to our night out! We will be back to see her and enjoy the amazing food and drinks!!
google avatar

Caitlin C.

Yelp
Gorgeous cozy atmosphere; 70s lounge inspired but upscale and modern. The bar here was a little less crowded than the front bar immediately off of the lobby and we were served right away. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were DELICIOUS, if a bit pricey. However, we later remarked that we didn't mind the price if it meant we had access to the gorgeous spaces inside the Pendry. Can't wait to go back!

Rensom S.

Yelp
The room is interesting and the bourbon list is adequate. The service is nice but slow.

Yelp
Beautiful space. But $26 for a glass of wine. (The other wine choice - a pinot noir -was $15 )This isn't Manhattan or London or. Singapore.

Ryan C.

Yelp
If you're looking for an intimate, upscale location to have a fantastic drink then this is the place you're looking for. If you want the best Manhattan in town ask for Ronnie or Kat. They will take care of you.

Bill R.

Yelp
Excellent cocktails, friendly and attentive service, and an incredibly designed space. Zero complaints about this bar. Definitely will take future out-of-town visitors for a drink here to give them the full Sagamore experience.
