The Cannon Room

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Cannon Room in Raleigh, NC. The venue is stunning with its elegant decor and historic charm. The staff was incredibly professional and accommodating, making the event seamless and enjoyable for everyone. The lighting was perfect for photography, and the beautiful city views added a unique touch to the wedding photos. I highly recommend The Cannon Room for any special event!

Our work with Christie was first class customer service throughout the process of securing the space, previewing the design, answering my questions and the evening of the event. I highly suggest considering The Cannon Room for your next meeting, event or wedding reception. The space is so flexible- it can do it all! The furniture is modern and gorgeous, and we were able to arrange the room to meet our many needs. As with any downtown venue, my only suggestion is to carefully plan ahead about transportation and places to park. Particularly for our event (Dec) it is a busy month downtown and parking is limited so we sent detailed instructions to our guests about where to park there was no problem. Would I use them again? YES, YES I will.

Being in the event industry, I know how important hospitality is. One thing is certain, The Cannon Room and their staff are accommodating, kind, professional, and deliver high-quality service. Not only that, the space is STUNNING with a phenomenal view! The remodel was very well executed and really sets the tone for a variety of events: weddings, corporate, conferences - so versatile! Love hosting and working events here!

Beautiful natural light, stunning historic architecture, amazing downtown Raleigh location. Could you ask for any more in a wedding venue? The Cannon Room was truly the perfect wedding venue for my husband and I. We wanted our wedding to be classy and timeless, with a touch of fancy. The white walls and tall windows created the perfect vibe for us. There is a grooms suite and a bridal suite in the building which allowed for seemless transitions throughout the day. Our guest list fell right at 110, the room was full but not too crowded, and there was plenty of room on the dance floor for everyone to dance the night away! Christie was fantastic to work with and she truly made our vision come to life. She was so easy to communicate with and spent so much time with us to make sure everything was what we wanted. I highly recommend this venue.

Our company had the opportunity to have its holiday party at the Cannon Room in December 2017. It was an amazing experience. Everything about the experience was phenomenal. The space itself was great with a spectacular view of downtown. Christie went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great time. We had space to mingle around the bar before dinner, eat dinner at a number of large tables and dance afterwards. The staff was impeccable, ensuring we were well taken care of. With the Cannon Room being downtown, we were able to walk to several other venues after our time at the Cannon Room was over.

We hosted a sweet sixteen birthday party at the Cannon Room in October. It was perfect! The venue is spacious with ample room for seating, DJ setup and dance floor. The bar/kitchenette area is ideal for serving food buffet style. Christie is a wonderful coordinator, very responsive and very easy to work with. She made this an awesome experience and we had an awesome party. So so glad we found this place!

I “Goggled” venues and the Cannon Room popped up. I reserved this venue for a surprise birthday party for my husband and I am so happy that we booked this space. It was absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere was great, and everyone love the view, I love natural light, and it was in abundance. Teresa was great, helpful, and very friendly. I will definitely use this place again.
