I spent a long weekend here for a wedding and it was overall an incredible experience. The professional and warmly welcoming staff made my time there so pleasant, easy and relaxing. All of the food was delicious!! The included breakfast was so generous- I will miss that the most! The room (bathroom, bed, and patio) is probably the nicest I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous views. I think everything is very reasonably priced for what you receive. If you are looking for a resort where you can spend 24 hours a day- this place is perfect. Thank you to all the staff ❤️

We spent 4 wonderful days at Hotel La Capase in July 2025, and it was an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant design and a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant offers a stunning sea view – perfect for romantic dinners or a serene breakfast outdoors. Breakfast was included and very diverse, with exceptional quality food – from fresh fruit and pastries to warm options and local specialties. The infinity pool was another highlight – calm, uncrowded, and overlooking the sea. A lovely touch: complimentary still water at the pool, a tasty snack at 11 AM, and fresh fruit at 5 PM – thoughtful details that made a difference. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. On our last day, since we had an early flight, they kindly let us access breakfast 15 minutes before the official opening time (8:00 AM), which we really appreciated. As a small downside, mosquitoes were a bit of an issue both outside and inside the room. I recommend bringing mosquito repellent spray. The rooms were equipped with various anti-mosquito sprays and devices, which helped. At the pool and breakfast area, bees were also quite present and caused a bit of discomfort. However, because we truly enjoyed our stay, we still gave a full 5-star rating and are definitely planning to return!

Phenomenal property, perfect for a relaxing time. The silence is wonderful. The staff give good suggestions for things to do outside of the property, since it’s so secluded - be prepared to drive quite a bit for a dinner/lunch. The breakfast was lovely, the pastries were the best part. I didn’t want to leave, everything was lovely. I just wish they didn’t have cover music constantly, it would be nice to enjoy nature and the sounds that are natural.

This hotel is an absolute show-stopper. I brought a group of American tourists to the area for a fitness-based vacation, and the staff at Le Capase were unbelievable partners. Lilli met our every need with the utmost graciousness, treating each and every one of us like VIPs.||The hotel itself is stunning. The sea-view rooms are divine, with comfortable beds, panoramic terraces, and plenty of thoughtful amenities. The infinity pool will take your breath away. Truly, words don’t do it justice.||Our guests couldn’t get enough—in fact, it was hard to persuade them to leave the hotel to explore the surrounding area! The area is rich in charming towns, seaside activities, hiking, and biking opportunities. But honestly, you could come here and never leave the property, and still feel as though you’d been transported to a place where time stands still.||Do not miss the chance to stay at Le Capase.

During our travels in Southern Italy Le Capase did by far the best job of all the resorts of helping us celebrate our milestone anniversary. We were supposed to renew our vows here 5 years ago but COVID had other plans. It was nice to finally make it to paradise with stunning unobstructed views of the sea and a pristine infinity edge pool. It looked exactly like the photos on the internet but was even better in person!||This area was also our favorite in Puglia - more laid back and less populated than areas like Lecce, Otranto, and Monopoli. The clientele was respectful and it was a truly peaceful stay. Our room had a view of the sea with a patio (2 comfortable loungers). There was plenty of tea in the room (and again in the lobby after dinner - loose leaf provided). The Culti bath products/toiletries were divine and all of the extra touches were noticed and appreciated. The beds were comfortable. But the truly what set Le Capase apart from the rest is the exceptional service. From the reception attendant to servers at the restaurant everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful.||One of the biggest surprises was the quality of food at the restaurant. The reviews had been mediocre so I managed expectations but was completely blown away. "Catch of the Day" here means the server brings around a cookie sheet with literally the fish that was reeled in that very day. We had aragosta (lobster), sea bass, and prawns! They prepared these with fresh pastas.||Breakfast was a wonderful experience. I immediately bonded with the female hostess who had stylish glasses. She was our server and ensured that we had fresh orange juice, formaggio, and of course cappucino. Everything was fresh and of the highest quality. This was the best breakfast in Italy and included the opportunity to order eggs cooked to order. I'd go back just for the breakfast (and the views)!||Another unexpected perk of this resort was the outdoor gym with exercise equipment. This is not even advertised on the website but was unusual and something extremely helpful. We did not see any yoga classes during our stay but could have borrowed bikes for free.||I was wondering about the area. You are close to the 1867 Punta Palascia lighthouse (to the North) and the cute town of Santa Cesarea Terme to the South. It is an easy drive all the way to the tip of the boot.||An update is that the resort has decided not to rebuild the path to directly access the sea. This did not take away from our visit as there are plenty of beaches nearby. The motorcycle noise cited in previous reviews is noticeable at the pool but I did not hear in the room or in the restaurant; it occurred during daylight hours as the road is popular with motorcycle enthusiasts. If you are willing to overlook these details, I'd highly encourage a less touristy and relaxing stay at this resort.

We had an amazing experience at a wonderful hotel. It is small and the staff are extremely friendly. We loved Lilly and Rafaela. You will not regret visiting the Capase. Also we found the further south in Puglia the less touristy and the more interesting places to visit.

Stayed here as part of a guided cycling tour. Seems most if not all rooms have a view of the ocean. Staff is very friendly and speak English. Pool area is clean and has incredible infinity edge. Otranto is within reach by taxi.

My husband, our 21-year-old daughter, and I stayed here in May 2025, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is wonderful — it offers breathtaking views, a stunning infinity pool, and beautifully landscaped gardens full of quiet corners perfect for reading or relaxing. I booked a massage with Luigi, and he was incredible — one of the best I've ever had! Breakfast was excellent, and after trying it once, we ended up having dinner at the hotel every night — it’s the best restaurant in the area. The staff were consistently helpful and charming, adding to the overall experience. The surrounding area is full of great spots to explore. We especially enjoyed the nearby town of Castro Marino (don’t miss the amazing ice cream), the beach cove at Acquaviva (there’s a great little lunch spot there called Anam), and Porto Miggiano for swimming. Also, be sure to take the walking tour of Zinzulusa Cave — it’s a must-see!
