Stunning views of your room is located on the "view side" we were upgraded, so our room was beautiful. Comfortable mattress and linen. Stunning bathroom. Very clean and well thought out space. Lovely restaurant. Tasty food. Room service. And nice breakfast buffet. Great service. The spa was absolutely amazing! Really, it made our stay! This is a little gem in gardens cape town. We will definitely be back.

While we appreciated certain aspects of our stay, our experience did not fully align with the standard the hotel aims to deliver. At breakfast this morning, we were informed by the hostess that only one person had been booked for the buffet, even though my boyfriend had confirmed arrangements for two the night before. She said she would speak to her manager, but instead of updating us directly, she continued glancing at us while speaking with her colleagues. We sat waiting for clarification until the manager eventually approached and mentioned he would look into it, acknowledging that he was aware of the arrangements made the previous evening. Again, we waited for further communication from either the manager or the hostess, but none came. As we were finishing our breakfast, the hostess continued to give us unwelcome stares. It was only at that point that a waitress came over and brought us a bill for the breakfast—despite it already being paid for the night before. We had to ask her to call the manager who then finally informed us that everything was sorted. We weren't upset with the waitress, but rather with the lack of communication among the staff. The hostess’s behavior, making comments and giving looks instead of offering an explanation, came across as unprofessional. There also seemed to be poor communication across other departments. We had credit to use during our stay and instructed staff to deduct our room service and bar charges from this credit. However, this appeared to confuse several staff members, as no one seemed to be tracking our purchases. Upon checkout, the front desk staff believed we hadn't used our credit at all and stated the hotel owed us money. Despite these issues—including minor maintenance concerns such as stained bathroom walls, a clogged sink, and some non-working lights—we did enjoy parts of our stay. Special thanks to the staff at the parking entrance and the bar. One bar staff member, in particular, stood out—he wears glasses and usually works evening shifts. His friendly service and engaging conversation truly made our night. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Capital 15 on Orange is exceptionally located in the heart of Cape Town, everything you could want is within a convenient 15-minute drive, and the airport is just 25 minutes away (traffic-dependent). The area is peaceful yet vibrant, and perfectly walkable to all the exciting hotspots nearby.||Check-In|Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Nathan, whose genuine smile and efficient service made check-in an absolute breeze. His hospitality instantly set the tone for a memorable stay.||Room|I audibly gasped when I stepped into my suite, it was stunningly spacious and tastefully designed. The floor-to-ceiling windows revealed a breathtaking panorama of Lion’s Head and Table Mountain. Waiting for me was a plate of delectable, clearly chef-crafted pastries, an unexpected delight.||The room features not one, but two state-of-the-art smart TVs - perfect for unwinding in either the stylish lounge area or from the ultra-comfortable king-size bed. Ordering in-room dining is seamless with the QR-code system, and for those who need a morning pick-me-up, the dedicated bar/coffee station with a high-end coffee machine and pods is a lovely touch.||Bathroom|The bathroom is elegantly designed and generously sized, featuring a separate spa-like bathtub and luxurious rainfall shower. The double vanity and well-thought-out lighting make it feel like your own private sanctuary.||Dining|The breakfast buffet is impressively expansive, offering everything from freshly squeezed juices and artisan yoghurts to delicious pastries, sushi, and eggs cooked to your liking. All of this can be enjoyed with majestic views of Table Mountain.||In the evening, do yourself a favor and visit the vibrant bar, ask for Roland, the cocktail maestro, who crafts drinks that are as artful as they are delicious.||Overall Experience|The Capital 15 on Orange is the epitome of luxury, exceptional service, and effortless style. The team has done a remarkable job creating a space that feels both elevated and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.||As a final touch, I’d love to see the hotel introduce monthly experiences that would appeal to both locals and hotel guests - perhaps a chic Sunday Jazz Lunch or a Bubbly Brunch with a live DJ playing laid-back lounge tunes. It would be the perfect complement to an already extraordinary offering.

My husband and I stayed at The Capital over the weekend. We got upgraded to the Executive suite upon arrival, which was absolutely stunning and spacious. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is convenient and central making travelling around the city easy. Thank you Nadia and the team and the team for your exceptional hospitality.

||From the moment we checked in, our experience at this Cape Town hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were brilliant—spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect retreat after each day of exploring. The hotel amenities were top-tier, but what really made our stay stand out was the outstanding staff. The waitresses were fantastic and nothing was too much for them.||||A special mention must go to Laverne -the concierge/customer services representative - who was the absolute star of our trip. She went above and beyond, helping us curate the perfect Cape Town experience. Thanks to her, we enjoyed a stunning sunset cruise, a seamless Table Mountain visit, and a memorable walking tour through the colourful Bo-Kaap area. She also managed to secure a much-coveted reservation at The Bungalow restuarant in Clifton, organised the unique GOLD African dining experience, and crafted a bespoke Cape Peninsula tour that was unforgettable. Honestly, whatever the hotel is paying her—it’s not enough! She made our stay truly magical.||||Of course, it helps that Cape Town is such an amazing, vibrant city, but having Laverne as our on-the-ground guide made all the difference. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommend.

I moved to Capital 15 on Orange for the remainder of my stay in Cape Town after finding my original hotel far too small and noisy. The difference was immediate and impressive. From check-in to check-out, the experience was professional, comfortable, and a reminder of what proper hospitality should feel like. The room was spacious, bright, and quiet, with a sofa, large wardrobe (complete with robes, slippers, iron and ironing board), and a well-designed bathroom with both a separate shower and bathtub. Coffee pods and bottled water were replenished daily, which was a thoughtful touch. Housekeeping was excellent – my room was always serviced while I was at breakfast, which made a real difference. Although I didn’t dine at the hotel, all the staff I dealt with were warm, helpful and quick to respond. A minor issue with the air conditioning was resolved efficiently. Parking is free and on-site. The towels were large and mostly fluffy, and the bathroom amenities were good quality. The large windows filled the room with light during the day, but the blackout curtains ensured a dark, restful sleep at night. If I had to mention one minor flaw, it would be the small room safe – a bit tight for a laptop – but that’s nitpicking in what was otherwise a seamless experience. My room attendant was particularly friendly and happy to help with any extras. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be back.

I just thought of writing a review after experiencing terrible service elsewhere. Last week, we had a wonderful dining experience! The warm lighting and cozy ambiance immediately made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, with the mussels and bruschetta being a standout dish. What truly impressed us, however, was the exceptional teamwork among the wait staff. Our waitress provided great service, and the friendly Rasta guy ensured our table was always clear and tidy. Overall, a fantastic evening out! I will be back.
