We are very sad to be leaving the Capital 15 on Orange hotel. For the past 4 days we have received outstanding customer service from right across all the staff at the hotel. We have made been to feel very valued as customers and our needs have been consistently surpassed. Fantastic location near Table Mountain so fabulous views of it from many rooms and 2 fantastic restaurants on Kloof street like 'Kloof street house' and Mama Africa's I want to specifically name (those names i can remember) In Management - Eon At reception - Nadia, Nathan and Buthle (Grace) who made checkin and checkout so easy and with an enjoyable chat. At concierge - Caseim & Laverne who organised AND then reorganised restaurant bookings for us In the hotel restaurant - yo yo & suki and many others we can't remember At the bar - Will and his team In the Spa - Mbali (faith) who did a half day spa for my wife and she felt 100% better for 2-3 days afterwards There were a few others but i'm afraid I must improve remembering African names This hotel is not cheap but we felt the high quality of the service and the excellent location make it absolutely worth it

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the level of customer service at Capital 15 on Orange. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed.||The rooms were absolutely beautiful — spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with every little detail in mind. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view was stunning!||What really stood out, though, was how much care the staff put into making our stay special. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so genuinely looked after.||We can’t recommend Capital 15 on Orange highly enough. Whether you’re visiting for business or a relaxing getaway, this hotel truly sets the standard for hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I just booked in and already feel at home with amazing welcome from the receptionist Nadia. She went over and above to make our stay memorable. Her personality and her warm nature suits her position perfectly. She has really represent your organisation with the best professionalism that it deserves.

I checked out on Sunday after an overnight stay and realised I had left an outfit in my hotel room. I contacted the hotel the following day. The staff member I spoke with took my number and assured me I would receive a call back after she contacted Lost & Found. I called again yesterday and was given the exact same response by another member of staff. Despite these assurances, no one has contacted me. This level of service is completely unacceptable. It is the responsibility of the hotel to notify guests when items are found in their rooms — especially when it is reported less than 24 hours after checkout. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely concerning. I expect an immediate update on the status of my item. This experience has severely damaged my trust in your brand.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious, cozy, and incredible. The service was very good, and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would especially like to highlight the attention and kindness of the hotel duty manager, Nadia Dreyer, who was incredible. She accompanied me to the places I needed to go so I wouldn't be alone, took care of me, and helped me arrange everything I needed for my outings and trip. Thank you very much. Congratulations.

Not the ideal place if you looking for a calm quiet environment. I had to pay extra to add breakfast to our weekend stay. On top of that. They allowed two massive busses to block the entrance and exit point on that small corner street and made a "5 star" hotel look like a taxi rank. Please dont waste your time here. It took them so long to get back to me about my laundry and when it will be done. They made so many mistakes when it came to the booking. There was poor communication among all their staff. I just feel sorry for people working at the front desk because they seemed very understanding and helpful. Hotels like these need to stop apologising and rectify their mistakes. Don't apologise, be better. I've stayed at something called Diamond level hotels and 7 stars. This should be rated as 4 star. Especially looking at the way in which traffic was uncontrolled for those two buses right outside their entrance. What would be helpful is to give a refund or partial refund, thats if your brand known as "The Capital" even cares about image or brand reputation and brand loyalty. Not respond with apologies. I won't recommend this place to anyone ever.

My Stay at 15 on Orange – Extremely Disappointing Experience I stayed at 15 on Orange (The Capital) for two nights, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic hospitality ethics was shocking — especially considering the price being paid as a corporate customer. Our organisation had booked around 12 units at this property during the Africa Com event. On the surface, the hotel appeared nice when I checked in, but that impression quickly changed after my first encounter with the staff the following morning. I had simply requested at the reception if two additional guests could be accommodated for breakfast and whether the charges could be added to my bill. The receptionist’s response was unbelievably rude and dismissive. He kept repeating, “You have to pay upfront,” in a tone that was both disrespectful and unprofessional. I clearly mentioned that I would pay the full amount, yet he remained unapologetic and discourteous. Later, there seemed to be unnecessary confusion between the restaurant and the reception team — something I still can’t understand — which just reflected poor internal communication and management. But the worst part of my stay happened at night. I called for a bottle of water around 3 AM, and the staff arrived with a card machine asking for immediate payment. I politely requested that it be added to my final bill, as I would be settling everything together at checkout. However, to my shock, the next night at 12 midnight, they again came knocking on my door while I was asleep — demanding payment for that same water bottle. When I didn’t respond, they even called my room at 1 AM to ask for the payment. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful in the hospitality industry. Waking up a guest at 1 AM for a minor bill — especially a corporate customer staying on a bulk booking of 12–15 rooms — is beyond comprehension. Such an experience is pathetic and shameful for a hotel of this standard. I will never recommend this property to anyone and will be raising a serious concern with my organisation’s admin team to ensure no future corporate bookings are made at this hotel.

The best 5 star plus hotel in capetown. Very large rooms with designer furniture and views to the museum and Table Mountain. The luxury suites are huge and very comfortable. Walking distance to all restaurants and bars. The staff was very attentive and professional. The breakfast buffet is outstanding as well as the dinner with regional ingredients and organic quality. |I felt very comfortable thanks to the very attentive and caring staff. I would particularly like to mention Brand (souschef) and Laverne (guest relations mgr) They made my stay even more unforgettable. |I wish the awesome general director and his outstanding staff all the best
