The Capital Empire Sandton

Originally booked a three bedroom apartment and was upgraded to a three bedroom penthouse. Stayed there for almost three weeks and each day was amazing. The front staff were amazing, restaurant staff were excellent, the chefs for breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Our housekeeper Yvonne was wonderful and my kids loved her. The building exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend

We have had an incredible 9 days at the Capital Hotel, Empire Place. The staff are unbelievable. Friendly, kind, can't do enough! The rooms are spacious, have variety of amenities that are much more than a hotel room. There is a lot around the area, it feels very central. We wanted to extend our stay and they were full. Highly recommended!

It’s not giving a 4 star hotel. Location is ok. Close proximity to Nelson Mandela square. Staff were friendly except at the restaurant area. Breakfast is good but we’re not kept clean - spillage of food at the buffet table and flies on the scones. Staff didn’t ask you for drinks. Had to call their attention to get coffee. Expected better.

The service is not on standard. We left the restaurant without lunch as the service was very bad. It was on shift change and the afternoon shift manager was very disappointed when we told him about the poor service we received. We told him that we planned to not have dinner in-house, but he challenged us to give him a chance to show us what service should look like and we accepted his offer. They ticked all the boxes and we did not regret eating in-house. Just a pitty that not all managers controll their shift's employees.

An amazing stay it was! A walking distance from the mall and USA consulate for your early morning visa interview. ||Staff was friendly, from the securities to everyone else.

We used the conference rooms for a new launch training. It was easily accessible, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.
