The Cardiff Hotel & Spa

Cardiff Hotel is hitting above its rating in service delivery. It’s hard to believe this is a college. The facilities are great, well maintained, clean and comfortable. The customer service is fantastic, overall great service and facilities. The cleaning service is also top notch. I was disappointed with the food. Although food service is great, hardworking staff, food restrictions are not appreciated. Food was included in our reservation but I couldn’t find toast or boiled eggs and the breakfast was the same everyday except for the porridge. Aside the food was great. Please also pay attention to service commitments. Loved having a fridge for my stuff, but a promise as part of the service must be kept. Thank you for a great getaway.

My experience from check-in to check-out was great. Staff was very pleasant and any issues were handled expeditiously. Property was beautiful and the room was very clean and inviting. Definitely will visit again

I only spent a night as I went to Jamaica to attend a funeral and the resort i was staying couldn't accommodate me for the first night of my stay in Jamaica ( sold out). I was with my son and mom. First of all, check-in was excellent. The staff are so friendly and professional. The room was a bit dated but it had my essentials therefore i was ok with it and I wasn't looking for a five star. I slept comfortably. The breakfast was excellent and the scenery was everything.

Uhm....I think they need work on..the staff seem to be trainess which makes inexperienced. The rooms are kinda musty and needs to be freshened up more especially for the ones that don't get occupied often enough. But the exper wasn't a bad one. The pastry isn't bad either.

Great quiet atmosphere. Staff are pleasant and try to help. The found is a lot and mainly authentic Jamaican. Tasty and served well

In March of this year we came in from England 21 of us to be exact we had a great time staff was excellent ,great food comfortable clean bed nice view dinner was great breakfast was awesome we had a good time customer service on top we are already telling friends about the hotel we will be back next trip to Jamaica thank you guys for a wonderful vacation

I visited the Cardiff hotel for a meal on three different occasions during our group trip to Jamaica. Our villa is in the Hotel's community, so we were allowed to utilize their services. My first meal there was breakfast. Throughout our meal, we were the only ones there eating. Although service was slow, the meal was overall nice. The property is very esthetically pleasing and clean. My next two meals were not so great. Both were dinner. The first time we were there for around 3 hours. Our appetizers came out one by one, our salads came after our meal (even though we had requested they come out prior to) and our soups never came. We had ordered crab cakes and they came out, literally hard as a rock. We are aware staff is predominately students, so we were fine just cancelling that off the order. The second dinner we had there was even worse. 3 groups came in and ordered after we did and still they received all of their food before we did. All of the food was over cooked. Our server (who was the same as the night prior) seemed to stay hidden somewhere out of site the whole night and we even had to go up to the bar to get all of our drinks after the first round. It's unfortunate as our villa was walking distance from Cardiff and we would have been so happy to walk there for most of our meals. But having to wait 3+ hours for a subpar food isn't anywhere near worth it, no matter the cost.
