We had such a wonderful experience here. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They have a great restaurant and cafe attached with delicious food & service. It’s perfect location. You can walk everywhere. Our room had a view of Windsor castle. They gave us a special congratulations card for our engagement.

The room was comfortable, well appointed and the bath/shower was excellent but there was no ability to turn on the heating so this gets a low rating. This is a 4 star hotel!! FFS. It is a pretty basic and essential requirement. The thermostat was locked so the room is and was cold. There is choice but go to bed and to get under the duvet which was, I must say very warm. The bed was also comfortable. My second, but connected gripe: The towel rack. Again this was not functioning and was a recurring theme during our recent holiday across England. Why? One of Britain's single greatest inventions, the much maligned heated towel rack and I can't turn the bloody thing on? Why? Is the Castle Hotel struggling? Is it because the UK is poor, or can't afford the gas bill? Sort it out.

This hotel is very conveniently located just steps of Windsor Castle. We arrived in the early morning, and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well kept and clean. The staff was amazing from the moment we checked in until we checked outl. We dining in the restaurant both evenings and breakfast, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet and orrered a great variety of hot and cold foods.We plan on staying here again next year, and we recommend this hotel very highly.

Quaint hotel with 5-Star service and atmosphere. Efficient layout that was workable in the available space, didn't feel cramped. Only down side was the time to draw hot water, especially at the sink, but even in the shower. However, once it got hot, it was very hot. Complimentary breakfast buffet was of high caliber. A pot of coffee or tea was served at your table upon being seated. Food selection included: juices, fruited waters, dry cereal and milk, fresh fruit, mini croissants (plain and chocolate), assortment of fresh bread baguettes and sliced bread, selection of jams, butter, sliced fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, sliced meats, sausage, bacon, sauteed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs. We were informed that if a different form of cooked egg was preferred (fried, poached, boiled, etc) to ask the wait-staff at no charge.

Stayed here for one night. Car park was fine. Staff were helpful. Room had everything you need and was very clean. Bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was buffet style and very nice. The location is perfect for visiting the castle and doing a boat trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

The Castle Hotel exceeded my expectations and we had a brilliant few days in Windsor. The location is very central with the Castle opposite and Windsor Great Park at the end of the road. Shops,restaurants and the river are very close by. The room and the bathroom were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. All the public areas were very lovely and we experienced great service and attention from all the staff. The food, including the breakfast, was exceptional .

Charming, warm, classy but not pretentious. Very clean, lots of nice extra touches like water, tea and cookies in the room. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We loved it and Windsor is a great place to visit.

All members of staff provided a great service, and were polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, however a little out-dated with some basic maintenance repairs required. In saying this, this did not affect the comfort of our stay, and the rooms were cosy and quiet, with an extremely comfortable bed.
