Google
The staff is very kind and patient (I almost made one spill my drink everywhere and they did not make me feel stupider) had good drink recs for my group and ensured we were all taken care of the entire time. Not a ton of people, witchy decor vibes, very much a safe space. The lighting and atmosphere felt very safe and still super fun without being crazy.

Google
Had the best time ever chatting with Jack, drinking tasty drinks and playing with all of the magical elements. Will definitely book the potions class next time!! Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Cheyenne Kirkland

Google
It's a cute place! I haven't had a chance to do the potion class yet but I like the special drinks and the size of the place. The food menu is okay but you're mainly going for the drinks. There's no happy hour Mondays or Tuesdays.

Google
we visited this past weekend after our harry potter filled day and it was the the best part of the trip! if you haven’t already, definitely take the potion making class! Our potion master RRRRRRRAMONA✨ was absolutely fantastic! The staff were super nice and the atmosphere was incredible. The science behind the drink making was so cool to watch and to experience making. We made The Foragers Cauldron and The Maleficaria, also ordered an Ectoplasm shot and Bubbling Shot of Death, all were delicious! The decor, staff, and experience were absolutely incredible and we definitely plan on coming back soon. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience ❤️

Google
I wish I knew the name of the bartender, he had elf ears on, but anyways he was AMAZING! Truly made our experience soooo much better. All of the staff were so sweet. I highly recommend this place. The drinks were super cool and the vibe is fun. We just went in for drinks, maybe next time we'll do a class, but it was an overall wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Add this place to your list of things to do in NYC!

Google
The food & service here was so amazing!! I went for the first time with friends last night who had already gone multiple times, and spoke very highly of it- it absolutely lived up to the expectations. Shoutout to Griffin for being such a fantastic server!! Definitely worth going with a group of friends for a whimsical & fun time making potions (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) as a special treat :)

Google
The Blob is the best drink I’ve had in a long time. Atmosphere is one of the better fantasy/ Harry Potter themes ever. Lots of fun and recommended.

Google
Been wanting to try the potion making class for the longest time. Finally got the chance to go. It's was Sooooo much fun. Professor David was the best. The drinks were strong. The food was great. Just a magical time. Already bugging people to go again.

Yelp
This was my third visit to The Cauldron. I've been to both the NYC and Philly locations. I was lucky enough to have the same waitress I'd had at the now-closed NYC location, and she truly made the experience. If you're deciding between the two, I'd highly recommend the NYC spot, especially if Maddie is working. She brought so much energy and fun to the experience, which is exactly what you'd hope for at a wizard-themed bar. On the other hand, the Philly location was a letdown. You'd think at a place centered around magic, the staff would help create that immersive, whimsical atmosphere. Instead, they seemed indifferent, which really took away from the experience. If I'm going to a wizard bar, I want all the theatricality the over-the-top enthusiasm, the commitment to the theme, the feeling that I'm actually brewing potions in some enchanted realm. Without that, it just feels... awkward. At the Philly location, our waitress seemed completely uninterested, and it honestly made the whole thing kind of uncomfortable. So, if you're looking for the full magical experience, do yourself a favor and go when Maddie is working at the NYC location she absolutely nailed it!

Yelp
Difficult to get in contact with to make a reservation. No phone line, had to go in person to confirm after contacting multiple times by email and receiving sparse responses. Potion master david was AMAZING, made our experience wonderful. Cocktails were great, wonderful mix of flavors and low alcohol taste with good alcohol content. Would recommend, just need to improve booking system.

Yelp
Came to The Cauldron as a +1 for my partner's work event. We were a part of the potion making class and it was a super fun experience! It was exciting getting to mix the vials they provided you to craft your own cocktails. The cocktails were personally, a little too sweet for my liking, but our time spent in the class was still enjoyable overall. Our potions master did a great job and she was very attentive to any requests we had. She did a great job acting out her role and made the whole experience very enjoyable for us all. The best part was probably the decoration in the bar, especially in the underground area where our potions class was held! Super spooky.

Yelp
Afternoon tea experience is not worth the money. They were 20 minutes late for our reservation but still ended at the original time so the actual experience was short of what was advertised. The magic chest was broken and didnt work when it was wanded so both the wand and chest had to be swapped out after multiple failed attempts to open it. There are no instructions given for how to blend the teas and what ingredients go together or how much to put in or for how long... a printout of instructions for common tea blends would've been nice to have since the tea is the main component of the experience. They also should've given a teapot for each person so we could brew each person's teabag in actual pots the way they do at other tea places instead of in those small cups. The little finger sandwiches and scones were fine, but not particularly filling and youll leavr hungry. Potionmaster David was nice and tried his best, but with the amount of tables he had to tend to, the experience felt rushed and you're kind of left on your own for most of it. I brought someone here for a birthday celebration. for $130 for two people, I expected a lot more. Usually when you tell a place its someones birthday they wish them happy birthday; never happened here. For an underwhelming experience that people fully prepaid for, going around handing them a bill for 20% gratuity at the end of it all was a bit much. Theyre running a deal for a Pulsd voucher for this experience but good luck trying to get a reservation with it; their customer service via email is unreliable and unresponsive. Would not recommend the tea experience unless they put more work into it; concept was promising but execution was severly lacking and not worth the high cost they're charging.

Yelp
Cute bar with fun drinks and a fun atmosphere to match it. The service is great too. We got a couple Of drinks which were super strong but delish!

Yelp
What an awesome place! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Came here with a friend today for the potions making class and It was great! Our potion master Poppy was so sweet, she was helpful, kind, and efficient. The drinks were YUMMY as was the food. We had the chicken tenders and you could tell these are not frozen tenders, they were def fresh made. The quesadilla was delish as well. I would def recommend this experience. The decor is beautifully done and adds to the magical vibe! Stop by for the experience or for drinks and dinner, you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
Goofy campy fun. Looking for a spot for drinks near Eataly and tried this. Service is friendly but a little slow. Ambience is haunted house themed. Goes with the potion making gimmick. Had a few drinks and the hummus plateand ended up staying, and winning their trivia night for $30 bucks off. Hummus is fine. The cocktails are eye catching for sure. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're in the area it's a solid spot.

Yelp
We went to the new location for Cauldron for their potion making class. A lot has changed since we went to the stone street location. These new drinks are average at best. The previous location had drinks that tasted good and felt unique. The "magic" involved in the drinks has also changed a lot. They used to give us a chest that opened with the wand and revealed our "potions" but now everything just comes in a wooden box. The potions we brewed felt really normal other than the dry ice component. There wasn't sparkles and color changes and a big production of our potion bubbling (dry ice). This place also just felt super crammed and the bar area just looked chaotic. Glasses were breaking all the time and it felt like all the employees were in each others way. Some of us were missing parts of the ingredients or had the wrong rubber bands as labels. The location itself just felt blah. When you went to the stone st location, you felt like you were entering a magical world, partly because of the stone paved streets. The decor there also seemed to match the vibe. This new location feels like a restaurant, not a hidden magical pub. The air of mystery and magic has really disappeared in this new location. It's sad as we used to bring many of our visiting friends and family to The Cauldron but I don't think we would now. The service was great as usual. Everyone is very friendly and do try to be in theme with being ghosts, elves, or other magical characters.

Yelp
Cute cute place! The decorations were on point, and we had a wonderful time. We arrived a bit early, so we sat at the bar and were offered water. The bartenders were lively and fun, they really loved singing along to the music, and the DJ/MC was the same. We did the potion making experience here as three. The drinks were super yummy, and definitely got us a lil tipsy. The experience gives you three drinks to make, and one drink prior from a keg-like area. The recipes were really easy, but sometimes would be missing parts and you'd have to ask for them, so it could get a little confusing, and a few of the labels were outdated. However, this was only for one of the recipes. All of the employees here are sweet and work hard to make sure you're cared for. However, I will say there are quite a few groups. For our teacher, we had around 5-6 tables of 4-6, and there was definitely at least 20 people for the one teacher. She was really busy, and you do need to be a lil assertive with your "summoning spell" to get service. However, we had a great time! Would also heavily recommend their bubbling green shots. They do not taste alcoholic at all and were a great final drink to our experience.

Yelp
Very campy wizard-themed bar. My friend and I came here on a Thursday night and it was basically deserted. I had an iced tea and he had a cocktail that was served in a little cauldron. Really nice staff and fun/goofy vibe.

Yelp
I wanted to love this but honestly, I thought the drinks were mediocre at best I had mocktails for the evening and truth be told, it's better to just let the person who drinks have two because some of the mocktails were straight up disgusting. I think my husband liked some of the alcoholic drinks he had but not all. We got potion making for 2 for holiday special and they give you prosecco and candy cane shots to start - no mocktails version of those so my husband had all of them haha Some of the drinks were complicated and they emphasize how complicated but they're not complex drinks - the instructions just suck because they say like put the purple top in but you don't have anything with a purple top instead they used like a white rubber band. For it being SO expensive, it's kinda cheap. The boba drink is supposed to be their hardest one and it's just not a drink I'd ever pay money for. It's just tapioca in some peach cider or clear juice? Super sweet, and tapioca taste like tapioca aka nothing so just a weird texture The vibe is cool though. They have you wear robes and the entire place is aesthetic so it's cute for a pic but way too expensive for what you're getting. I think the bar drinks were ok though but you don't really need to order their mixology drinks bc this isn't the Aviary although the prices want you to think it is The server was super nice though and they do charge you an obligatory gratuity on top of whatever you paid online so fyi They also do not have any food and they're a bit disorganized. They called me to ask if I could come in for my reservation early but when I got there, they had no idea who I was or why I was early until like 3 people in so that was also bizarre!

Yelp
I just have to say that this was so much fun! Truly one of the best experiences in New York City! It's so hands-on. I came here to celebrate for my One Year Anniversary of being Sober and they had mocktail options for the potions class as well. All my friends and I had a blast! Our Potions master was iconic!!!!! Everyone was 10/10 and I can't recommend this place enough. Don't be fooled once you go in though! All the magic happens in the back! They're brilliant and magical that way!

Yelp
My daughter and I were so excited to visit this place! It was portrayed as a wizard'ish theme bar on with a potion class. Which means we made our own concoctions. We stayed in The Pub Room since we were early. We enjoyed the cheese board and the hummus platter. We ordered the witches brew, which came in a nice cauldron. We had a better experience at the bar than we did for the Potion event! The problem began when we were escorted at 6pm to do the potion class. Well, where do I begin? 1) They had no idea what package we ordered 2) The room the event was in was not even decorated as a theme. It seemed an after thought 3) They were short in a lot of supplies. 4) We never received our Prosecco we ordered that were an up charge. We ordered them to drown out the HORRIBLE taste of all 3 drinks we had. I have never had drinks that tasted so bad!!!!as well as never been to a establishment run so chaotically. I was willing to overlook the less than stellar experience, until I went to voice my disappointment to a "Floor Supervisor" who told me he can't control how I made the drink. So it was basically my fault the drink did not taste good" Really, we followed the instructions exactly! Did the other people seated at our table do it wrong too??? All four of us left all three drinks. The fact that he said that to me is another part of the reason I am leaving 1 star! The only reason we even stayed as long as we did was because our waitress ( did not remember her name, she had blue hair)was great, and did her best with what she had. I know the couple seated with us complained as well.

Yelp
Went here for drinks because my son is a Harry Potter fan and it was his bday. Really fun spot, we were there on a Saturday and they had a drag show which we didn't know about until just before we got there. The show was great, very entertaining and fun. They get the audience involved with fun games like musical shots. The staff was great. We will definitely go back. We didn't have any food not sure if they have any, just drinks but the drinks were great. Lots of fun concoctions. Next time we will book for the potion making where you brew your own magical cocktails. They have some pretty good Christmas decorations and one of the staff told us they really do it up for Valentines day. A really fun spot with excellent service and staff.

Yelp
The Cauldron was so fun! The servers were chatty and friendly, and the ambience was like something out of a fairy tale-- trees and witchery abound! The drinks were delicious, too. Would definitely come back for the potions class!

Yelp
A review has to be left. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with this place If there is a problem, question or if you need to make a change your reservation. If you call them, you get an automated message that says you can ONLY be helped using the live chat on their website. However, the live chat has been removed, and currently does not exist! If you try to reach somebody via voicemail at the venue, it tells you the voicemail boxes are all full. You cannot run a business this way.

Yelp
WE LOVE IT HERE!! Everyone was so welcoming and sweet, and we had so much fun!!! Also we are obsessed with the bartender Edwin and everyone else in there! We WILL be back

Yelp
This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We had an 8:00 reservation and were only 10 minutes late -- hardly an excuse for the circus that followed. Upon arrival, we were ignored for 10 minutes before the host begrudgingly acknowledged us, only to tell us to wait another 15 minutes for our table. After a ridiculous 20-minute delay, we were dumped at a table near the bar and left to rot. For 30 excruciating minutes, not a single person bothered to take our order. We had to get up and order our drinks at the bar, even though we were at a table -- an absolute joke of service. When the drinks finally arrived 45 minutes after we sat down, they were so weak and flavorless it was borderline insulting. To call them "mediocre" would be generous. It's clear The Cauldron doesn't give a damn about their diners. The entire focus was on their potion-making class, where drinks were flowing non-stop, while the rest of us were treated like we didn't exist. We were left completely abandoned -- no drinks, no water, no one checking in, not even an apology. The staff's indifference was almost impressive. If you value your time, money, or basic human decency, avoid this place at all costs. It's a chaotic, poorly run mess with laughably bad service. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Yelp
Potion Master David was beyond incredible! Will definitely be back. What a fun experience !!

Yelp
Where do I begin! My friends and I wanted to get fun cocktails and enjoy a drag show. The show was supposed to be from 9-11 and didn't start until well after 10pm. We were seated at the bar and ordered 1 round of drinks and an appetizer. Drinks came in 15 minutes (they were cute). After waiting for 30 minutes, we asked the bartender about where our food was. He confirmed it should be on the way. Another 30 minutes go by of being avoided by all staff. No one even made eye contact. A random server came with the wrong food and we reiterated that we had been waiting over an hour at that point. SPOILER ALERT - we never got the food. My friend tried to at least order another drink, but they "didn't have that one" and then the bartender left again. We somehow managed to get the check and left.

Yelp
I was invited to have an afternoon in one of the cutest spaces in Flatiron. The door gent greeted me, and I was seated at the bar to wait for the others to arrive. The staff is super friendly, and the space is literally "magical." I had a great time chatting with the bartender, Jack. When it was my time, the door host gent in the front escorted us all into a back room where we sat at tables together in small groups (I sat with a lovely couple from Wales UK), and we had the best time ever. We were given wizard robes and Santa hat, with the hosts giving a storyline about Christmas being in jeopardy without the perfect hot cocoa. The high ceilings, cozy features, and everything was super cute, down to the last detail. Very cute indeed. Clad in our robes and Santa hats, we let the adventure begin! We created different concoctions using "tinctures," which were flavored syrups to make fun flavors. Halfway through, we were taken to a dragon head to dispense a citrusy juice with a magic wand. Back to the tables and our cauldron of chocolate. We noticed the pot wasn't so hot (which we were a little sad). Hopefully, it'll be warmer. You've gotta try it.

Yelp
Potion master David was awesome and didn't threaten me at all with eternal damnation if I didn't post this. So much fun, great experience and tasty drinks!

Will M.

Yelp
I go here with my friends for a fun time out, it's our "ol reliable" haha They have a great roundup of shows and their drag performers are spectacular. Recently went for halloweekend and it was good vibes all around. Drinks are delicious, wait staff is courteous, though things can get busy which is to be expected in NYC. There's a reason I keep coming back, it's definitely a spot to visit if you want a chill, fantasy atmosphere and see great performances.

Yelp
Had an amazing time at The Cauldron, amazing staff, amazing service, and the cocktails? Beyond amazing. Ask for Faith or Dominick, the manager, who will ensure you have an amazing time. Ask for the potion masters, who will whisk you away to their back room, and teach you the potion recipes and how to brew a delicious love potion. Received VIP level service and treatment from their team. If you're looking for a unique experience in New York, this is your place. Get your witch & wizard on at The Cauldron, make sure you try the Three Witches, to share!

Yelp
Jack the Elf was an OUTSTANDING bartender and the drinks were amazing. We had an expresso martini, an ectoplasm, bubbling shot of death, and a shot of gold. They were extremely delicious!

Yelp
The decorations, music, and staff were awesome. The drinks were fun to make. It's my third time going and it's been fun each time. Ramona was an awesome potions teacher.

Yelp
I've been to their original location downtown as well as this new location in Flatiron, and unfortunately the experience was much better downtown. They don't lean into the theme as much in the new location; there used to be more decor, and their events now aren't related to the theme. (I love Drag Race watch parties, but it doesn't have anything to do with magic!) The drinks were also stronger previously and this time they were just straight sugar with barely any alcohol, and still expensive. I would still recommend the potion-making experience, since you can't find that anywhere else.

Yelp
I went here for a potion making class experience with a group of girlfriends. While we enjoyed ourselves, I wouldn't recommend it to others. To start with, we paid around 70 each for the experience in exchange for an hour 45 experience that included 3 cocktails. We began our experience about 15 minutes late, I'm not entirely sure the cause for the delay. The first cocktail of the class was provided as they explained how the experience worked. We had the choice between a sangria and a non-alcoholic juice. I had the sangria and it tasted very watered down and low quality. The two additional cocktails we made were also not very good. They tasted like the kind of mixed drinks you used to make yourself in high school before you discovered that there were better vodkas out there than pinnacle whipped and UV. The equipment we were provided for the second cocktail also wasn't functioning properly, so we had to redo the drink. Because of the delay this caused, we didn't have time to finish the beverage and we're told we could finish it in the front bar if we wanted because they needed to get the space ready for the next class. To be honest, most of us didn't even want it anyway because of how unappetizing of a drink it was. Lastly, the space was freezing cold. Our group was sat in the back next to an ac vent and large windows, making the experience extremely cold. If they didn't provide us with robes, we would've put our jackets on. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves because we're just that kind of group. But in my opinion, you're better off taking 70 bucks and going to a great cocktail lounge or bar and drinking with friends there. Your money will go further and you'll get higher quality drinks.

Yelp
This review is in regards to the Potion Making Experience. I've been to the Cauldron before, back before it relocated to the Flatiron District. This was when it was on Stone St, lower Manhattan. That place had a magical vibe as the low lighting created a more mysterious, moody, supernatural feel as you're surrounded by friends making "potions." And the wands provided was unique as it was used to open hidden doors and turn on/off lights on an antique looking lamp set on the table. But this new location, it lost all that made it special. The room is brightly lit, so it doesn't feel magical or otherworldy despite the small props along the wall. The wand provided doesn't do anything. There is nothing to tap it against, nothing to open, nothing to light. It's just there to wave around. The previous place, you get a choice of beer (poured by tapping the wand against a mythical creature's head) and two drinks to be made. Here, you get a choice of sangria or a non-alcoholic drink delivered straight to you (again, why even have the wand in the first place if not to tap it against a dragon or unicorn and get a drink poured out from it's mouth for you?) and two drinks to be made. The drink making is fun, but again, in the brightly lit room, feels less magical than in a room with a dimly illuminated aura around you. Our potion master was fun, and I have no complaints there. The price seems too high for the experience when fees and taxes were added to the base price. Compared to the place of long time ago, this is a let down and I felt bad for hyping a friend up to this place when I thought it would be just like before.

Perry C.

Yelp
We paid $150 for the Halloween potions experience. They started us an hour late and in the bar area on high top tables instead of the back room allotted for the experience. The waitress barely said a word to us, didn't give us the included witches hats, told us to point our fingers at the ceiling instead of giving us the included wands, and then plopped a drink in front of us without saying what it was. Then we get a cauldron and a crate of ingredients that barely fit on the little bar table and she says to "follow the instructions they should be straight forward". They clearly overbooked because we see another class go into the space with an instructor at the same time and nothing is said to our group on sticky high top tables. We got up and asked for a refund tbd if we get it but that was a horrible experience.

Yelp
Potion Master David or should I say MUHAHAHAHA!!! was absolutely amazing and a delight, but be warned this is Advanced Potion Making, be sure to complete your Basic Potion Making class first ;)

Yelp
This place is a Cash Grab. Like previous people have said, this review needs to be left. We were a family of 5 looking to celebrate a 40th birthday with dinner and entertainment. The issues started with the difficulty contacting someone at your venue even through the chat feature as recommended. Your website also doesn't align with your social media and makes it confusing to understand the different experiences and what your're actually paying for. When I questioned the food, I was expecting burgers, petit fours, and meals as seen on your Instagram page. An appetizer menu was provided however I still booked assuming I was missing something since I was sent 3 copy's of it. Needless to say after spending $600 for an underwhelming experience, I'm still trying to figure out what I had paid for. No alcoholic drinks were consumed, there were not enough cauldron cups to drink from, and no real meal was had. There was only one other table being entertained, so no reason for the shortage. The location we were at also did not match any of the social media photos and we left hungry and unsatisfied. I've never been scammed in such a way in which an experience was put forth that doesn't align with what's sold. We came in from Long Island specifically for this and it fell way short of expectations. It was lost time and celebrations that could have been had elsewhere.

Yelp
Our large group found this place by chance and had an excellent time! It wasn't packed for a Saturday after midnight, and the vibes were AMAZING. Great theming/decor, great music, lots of room to dance, both bartenders were quick and friendly, and the drinks were both delicious and well priced. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Lovely experience!!!! My fiancé and I had a nice time. You are able to create magical and tasty. Potion master David was great and very helpful!

Ariel G.

Yelp
David was such a great teacher and I loved my experience at this location. The one thing I would recommend is having more information on their PUSLD page. As it did not have information that you had to pay extra on non peak days after purchasing the voucher.

Yelp
potions master David was amazing! Highly recommend! Such a fun experience! A must see in NY!

Yelp
Potion Master David made our evening ! The drinks were magical , tasty and most importantly left us tipsy. Although, I came for the alcohol, I was happy to find out they offer a kid friendly potions class, I will be back with my brood :)

Yelp
Made my birthday a magical experience. Potion master David was the best. Will definitely come back for more magical experiences.

Yelp
My GF and I just did the potion making experience here. We loved it! Professor David and Elf Faith made the whole event super fun, easy to complete, and so memorable. It was a great value for the money--5 drinks, a robe to wear and wand to wave, such a playful night, lots of photo memories of our drinks, hosts, and us. I can't wait to come back again..with more friends this time.

Angy L.

Yelp
Mastet David (..and Richard) are amazing! Very engaging and only a huzzah away for any questions we had :)

Yelp
I was visiting this location as they were holding their first ever Drag Show Brunch. Sherry Poppins and Robin Rose Quartz were amazing performers and made for an excellent show. There's definitely so much potential in these shows as they master combining it with the brunch. The brunch itself was a bit disappointing but the show and lovely staff made up for it. The servers were so sweet as they handled being overwhelmingly busy. We ordered the chicken and waffles which was fairly priced. The bartender made an AMAZING espresso martini as well. Despite it all, I feel that their menu is limited and some items are overpriced. My hash browns arrived still frozen after having taken quite some time to come out. Again, the servers were amazing as they made up for all the little hiccups. I definitely would go to another Drag Brunch Show or even to the other drink experiences in the future. The show was exciting and still very personable. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully giving off an enchanted vibe, filled with forest like decoration. Overall, I am optimistic about a second visit and my compliments to the performers and the staff.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great! The service is quick. The plates are on the small side. We did the drag brunch and it was fun!

The website looks cute. The idea is cute. ONLINE this place looks adorbs and exciting. IN REALITY the experience is *painfully* boring and disappointing-- and at a high cost. We had reservations (which are pre-paid) for the downtown location, which closed just weeks before we were to arrive. We now know why. We were sent an email basically telling us we *had* to go to the Flatiron location without offering a refund. Again, the company spends more time reminding you that there are no refunds for any reason more than it tries to do anything remotely "magical". This whole company must be going down the tubes (and not the magical, apparating kind!). When all is said and done this is a below average bar with a weak theme. Jekyll and Hyde's achieves the decor and fun much better than Cauldron does any day. Most of the "magical" things are broken. You'll use your wand to hold up to call your server-- that's it. You get a pot to pour cheap ingredients into. The drinks taste bitter, strange, and again, cheap. The servers (not wizards-- they barely attempt to seem fantastical in any way) seem stressed and often confused. I doubt this bar will last an additional year. There are no magic tricks. When I asked about the little enchanted gadgets and tricks they feature online I was told they don't do any of that. I see a Yelp reviewer who was invited to basically review the place at an opening event posted such tricks. Sadly, we were told these are not offered. The only "trick" is that Cauldron leads customers to believe that the experience a choice few initially had at opening is still available. I really wanted to enjoy this. Save your money- go to the Harry Potter experience instead, or simply frequent your favorite beverage establishment and get a drink. Stay away from this mess!

Yelp
Everyone and everything was amazing. We all had so much fun. Alcohol and non alcohol alike were great. Check it out

Yelp
Potion Master David hosted us for an amazing time ! Have been to the cauldron a few times before but they always manage to make new and exciting drinks and experiences. Loved the venue and the staff and the beverages were quite tasty!

Yelp
What a fun experience! This was one of the best birthday experiences I've ever had. Thank you for the silliness and laughs.

Yelp
All of the allergens are on a single menu (vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, gluten-free). My friend and I noticed that we were given less food than the regular menu and the quality was terrible. Also, the "potion-making" was completely self-guided, the host didn't do anything. I'd recommend spending a little more money and going to an actual afternoon tea instead.

Yelp
We did the potion making experience and had a blast. From the moment we walked in, the bartender was engaging with us, cracking jokes, and overall very friendly while they set everything up. The two drinks we made were both great, as were the other drinks you can order from the bar. Amusing that other reviewers who signed up to go make drinks somewhere then complained that they could have just made drinks at home. Sounds like the life of a party I wouldn't come here for a sports bar or nightclub atmosphere, but if you read what you're booking online, your expectations will be met.

Yelp
We went to the cauldron valentines potion making class starting at 5pm. We showed up 5 minutes early and they asked all of our info and then completely forgot about us. We just assumed that the class was a different one and patiently waited like was asked of us. We waited until 10 minutes after the class had started for the person to seat us last after the class had already started. The class was chaotic. There was a lot of people and you could not hear the instructor. The robes they give you were sticky and dirty and had wet sleeves. The drinks were disgusting. Some of the potions bottles they give you were not labeled making it hard to know what you are putting in. This event was insanely expensive for what we received. We couldn't drink any of the drinks :( Sadly we won't be returning. What a bummer.
