Have been here many times, and service and views are amazing, but your TRIPLE COOKED CHIPS was the best in the Western Cape!!!! 2nd time today that we had bland, newly cooked potatoes...... Don't put it on your menu if not TRIPLED COOKED.

Really amazing venue, the position of this estate gives it a big advantage. On a clear day like I had the views are endless. Service was good as well. The dishes I tried however weren’t as good as I expected. The croissant was quite dense and didn’t feel fresh. Note that i was dining at 11:30am. I wanted to be on time to try the flammkuchen, unfortunately to me this felt a bit underseasoned. The wines as usual were excellent. Definitely a venue that I will visit again. Maybe I will try other items on the menu.

Jordan Wine Estate is a beautiful and relaxing location, and I’ll recommend their restaurant if you visit this site. The food quality is excellent, and the views are beautiful. However, I can’t give them 5 stars, because of service quality. The waitpersons are excellent, but I give a low rating for the service for the management policy; we were not allowed to sit by the empty tables facing the pond(as you would see from my photos), as they claimed it’s reserved. We spent over an hour at the restaurant, and no one came to those tables, which one can only conclude it’s reserved for certain people. Despite this, I recommend visiting this beautiful wine estate; it’s even a nice ‘work from home’ location.

We booked a two picnic baskets for four people online. On the day we chose our drinks. We we escourted to our picnic pod where a lovely area had been prepared for us with blankets and pillows. Our drinks and picnic baskets were also carried to the pod for us by very friendly patrons. It was such a romanitic atmosphere with lovely views of the mountain and the dam. Would highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience. The food was excellent, best beef patty I've had and the vegetarian lunch option is lovely too. The food service was impeccable. The wines are gorgeous, our wine server Billy was incredibly knowledgeable and really added to the tasting experience. All this accompanied by a breathtaking view made for a delightful afternoon.

A bit of a drive on a narrow, and not always excellent road to get to Jordan wine estate, but definitely worth while. There is a very calming and tranquil atmosphere on the deck below large maple trees at the Bakery at Jordan, with spectacular views to match. The wine is good, will definitely keep an eye out for their wines in future. They have a very limited selection of food on the lunch menu, the food was good, I felt the beer battered fish could be more crispy, but overall a great experience.
