Charming hotel in a central location . We arrived in Queenstown in a heavy rain storm and so were very pleased that the hotel had reserved a parking space for us in advance. There is limited on site parking so that was a nice touch to find a named space.|Our room on the first floor had a gorgeous view over to the snow capped mountains and we loved the chaise longue and the heated bathroom floor. The room was lovely and spacious with loads of useful things like an ironing board. |The hotel decor is different and an interior designer has had a field day with it. But it's perfect for a warm stay close to the town. |We thought the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel for its location close to downtown and the fact that it offered complimentary bike hire and happy hour each evening. The bikes were not serviced, had malfunctioning gears and handlebars that twisted out of alignment. So make sure you request they service the bikes if this is a reason you choose to book here. Oh and they tried to charge us for the bikes before I pointed out they were included! Otherwise we were happy with our stay. The room was large, nice big bath and the bed very comfortable. Happy hour was very nice. Good wine and tasty nibbles and a nice social ambience.

We had an unforgettable stay at the Central Private Hotel in Queenstown. After our late arrival, we found an email with our room number and entry code. When we opened the curtains in room 21, we were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains.|The next morning, Shauna welcomed us warmly. The continental breakfast was delicious, with coffee, tea, and soft drinks available all day.|Each evening from 5 to 6 pm, there was a happy hour with complimentary wine, beer, and snacks. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests.|The room was cosy, the bed was comfortable, and bath salts provided for a long soak each evening was a nice touch.|The staff was wonderful, especially Sasha and Shauna. However, there was one older male staff member who was not very friendly or welcoming. He rarely engaged with guests. Some customer service training could help him improve his demeanour.|Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this boutique-style hotel to anyone. It's a short walk to the town and all the amenities.

Great location only a few minutes walk from the center of town down hill. Nice walk up|Hill after a few drinks and dinner|Loved the breakfast daily and happy hour and lollies throughout the day. Very comfy bed and and spacious room. Also loved the sauna. Had a deck as well in room 14 which was nice for airflow as was warm in our room. Staff all very friendly and polite and very clean room and premises. Would defo stay again!

Beautiful hotel with a very spacious and comfortable room. Fantastic location being a five minute walk from the City Centre. Complimentary Happy Hour was a lovely touch. Highly recommend if looking for a smaller hotel with a personal touch. We pre-booked parking, and it was a lovely touch to pull up and see our name on our parking spot 💗

What a funky, fabulous hotel. From the friendly staff to the great brekky spread to happy hour each night. The little extras in the room and the treats are a welcome surprise. Very easy access to the heart of Queenstown. Great views of the mountain. Clean and quiet.

Everything complimentary in huge room. Loads of space. 5 minutes walk from centre. Parking on the street only - can be hard to find space when busy. No lift in property so must bring cases up & down stairs. To be honest, these are minor issues. Loved this hotel & would stay again.

Perfect location, beautiful aesthetic rooms, very clean, daily breakfast was convenient, lighting in rooms needs to be rectified, no power points in bathroom, but heated floors and towel rails were a plus. Mini bar being included was a nice touch. |Thank you for having us.

Stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are really cool looking with a relaxing vibe. Very comfortable bed and accommodating staff. They give you a bottle of wine at check in, light. Real fast and even a happy hour 5-6. Would highly recommend.

Good management. Very helpful for tours and calling when our bus didn't come. Makes breakfast fresh. Attention to detail. Knows your name!
