The Chalets Motel

Lovely, quiet and very clean accommodation with the bonus of stand alone units. Our chalet had a beautiful view of the ranges and the location is perfect - just a 10 minute walk to the hot pools and town centre. The grounds are well maintained, staff are friendly and the washing line was a great extra. Excellent value for money and a fantastic place to stay.

Very tidy and clean chalet with everything we needed. Plenty of room for a family of five. Owner was very friendly and happily added an extra night to our stay for a good price. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and swing and if it had snowed, the outdoor area would have been extra fun. Easy walk to town.

Second time staying here. Friendly welcome and cared for during our stay. Chalets are spaced well apart which gives a nice feeling of privacy. Very quiet, tidy and clean. We will be back.

Our recent stay in Hanmer Springs offered wonderful privacy and an unbeatable 10-minute walk into town. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved being able to pick our unit (there were a couple free at the time), and the onsite laundry, plus the fun trampoline and swing, were nice bonuses! On the flip side, some appliances were outdated, and we did encounter condensation on the outside walls that unfortunately ended up soaking some clothes. Overall, if you're seeking a private spot with great staff and a prime location in Hanmer Springs, this is a good choice.

We were a family of five travelling and had a quaint little cabin with all the amenities you could ask for. We were travelling with a service dog so the lovely hosts made sure we were located in a unit with easy access to the domain across the street so we didn’t have to go far (or climb a hill) every time we took the dog out. You can also hire towels here for the hot pools for a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend staying here.

We always enjoy staying here. The grounds are so beautiful with native trees and shrubs. The mountain views lovelly. Very clean and tidy. We will return.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Great location away from the main town and with fantastic mountain views. Everything we needed - with heaters in both bedrooms and living areas. Cabin was very clean and well supplied.
