The Chalets Motel

Very tidy and clean chalet with everything we needed. Plenty of room for a family of five. Owner was very friendly and happily added an extra night to our stay for a good price. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and swing and if it had snowed, the outdoor area would have been extra fun. Easy walk to town.

We were a family of five travelling and had a quaint little cabin with all the amenities you could ask for. We were travelling with a service dog so the lovely hosts made sure we were located in a unit with easy access to the domain across the street so we didn’t have to go far (or climb a hill) every time we took the dog out. You can also hire towels here for the hot pools for a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our recent stay in Hanmer Springs offered wonderful privacy and an unbeatable 10-minute walk into town. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved being able to pick our unit (there were a couple free at the time), and the onsite laundry, plus the fun trampoline and swing, were nice bonuses! On the flip side, some appliances were outdated, and we did encounter condensation on the outside walls that unfortunately ended up soaking some clothes. Overall, if you're seeking a private spot with great staff and a prime location in Hanmer Springs, this is a good choice.

A wonderful place to stay. Lovely friendly host. Our unit was warm, cosy and extremely clean. The complex is a credit to the operators. Very quiet and relaxing. Everything you need and more for a great stay.|Close to the shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Great location away from the main town and with fantastic mountain views. Everything we needed - with heaters in both bedrooms and living areas. Cabin was very clean and well supplied.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom Chalet a few weeks ago with extended family. Very clean, tidy, with comfortable beds and pillows. Fridge, oven, microwave...everything you need. Close to town, the pools and bush walks. Friendly, helpful service. Would definitely stay here again. Bev & Steve

Very happy to let us have unit early. Heating was sufficient as was small but had everything you needed if wanting to cook. Perfect for 2 people.

We had a great stay at one of the many Chalets cottages. It was amazing for my wife and my daughter. It was very private with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It was close to the pools, village and restaurants.
