Your first stop for breakfast in the CBD, get a savoury and a sweet to share. The cold brew is particularly good

A weekend in Cairns

My husband and I had a lovely breakfast here. We had booked accommodation at The Regis Apartments and had breakfast vouchers in our package. I was advised to book, however, it seemed to be after hours and could only leave a message, hoping they received our message. We turned up the next, greeted by a super friendly staff member, who said seating was available, inside too. Service prompt. Coffee great, hit the spot. Atmosphere fair for a Sunday morning, not too busy nor quiet. Food Amazing, Delicious and Pretty as a picture. Definitely recommend dining here, like my husband said is in his review, you can tell the chef takes care and pride in his menu and food. We thank you for this, great respected.

Visited here today for breakfast. We had a voucher from our accomodation. Best to book, however we left a message on the answering machine that nobody received. Got a table anyway, service friendly, prompt, coffee was nice and the breakfast was great, everything on our plates tasted nice and I got some chilli jam which I enjoyed with my rosti and crispy bacon. Would definitely go back and eat here again. My wife had the smashed avocado and it was presented very well, shows me the chefs take great care on plate and I spent 28 years in kitchens.

This restaurant is such a gem for breakfast. The menu has plenty of variety, and we went for the Healthy Breakfast and the pancakes, both were served in generous portions, beautifully presented, and full of fresh flavors. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth. I also tried the matcha, which was good, though a little heavy on ice. Overall, a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxed and satisfying start to the day.

A great place to meet friends, group booking or solo. Coffee here is delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. We came for the High Tea and it did not disappoint! Coffee on arrival, bottomless cups of tea. One three tier tower for sweets and another 3 tier tower for savoury. We enjoyed everything. Thank you for accommodating us

What an amazing place! Seated quickly and food arrived within a really good time too. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious in both quality, taste and presentation. The best smashed avo I have ever had!

Oh my god, I loveeeeeeee this place. The interior was what caught my attention at first because the café is super pretty!! But the food and coffee completely blew me away. Not only are they super Instagrammable, they’re super delicious too!! I tried their iced vanilla latte and the smashed avocado (aka avocado toast) with an add on egg. My friend had the K.F.C burger and we shared the lemon meringue pancake. Their iced coffee was absolutely perfect, just the right balance of bitterness, sweetness and creaminess. I’m not even a big fan of avocado, I only ordered it because, well, when in Aussie right? But I ended up really liking it. It comes with a pea fritter and thinly shaved cucumber, super good. I couldn’t really taste the truffle in the sauce but it was still a nice creamy sauce. The toasted sourdough though was probably the star, such good bread. I had a bite of my friend’s K.F.C burger and instantly got food envy. I should’ve ordered that, it was so good. Crispy chicken, sweet, savory, tangy in the best way possible. And the lemon meringue pancake was amazing too. The lemon curd was hands down the best part, perfectly sweet and sour. I’m literally drooling writing this. Hope I get to go back someday. Oh, and the servers were super nice, friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this café.

Nice spot, good food but just overpriced for what you get (even being in the tourist spotted area). If the proteins would be included, the prices would be great. You pay same for 2 streaks of bacon as you for 1kg at the butcher

We had breakfast here and it was delicious! The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and some truffle fries. They were so yummy! My husband got the Local’s Way with a house-made rosti. His favorite was definitely the rosti. I also got some freshly squeezed apple juice. It was so good! Would eat here again!

Yelp
A lovely brunch! I loved the menu, everything looked so good, it was hard to decide what to order. I LOVED that there was a QR code to see pictures of every item on the menu, every restaurant should do that. The food looked as beautiful as the pictures listed, as well, which pleasantly surprised me. I loved how artfully each dish is put together, with the right mix of colors, textures, and flavors. I ordered the lamb benedict, which was a special, and it was perfect -- with confit cherry tomatoes, Massaman hollandaise, and a hatchback potato, it was the perfect combo of elements, as I mentioned. The portion sizes were also great -- I was the perfect amount of full. My family ordered the smashed avocado, the healthy brekkie, and the karaage and waffles, and they all enjoyed their meals. I ordered a sweet potato and ube pancake to share for dessert, because I just couldn't help it. The flavors were super unique, and I loved the crunchy honeycomb and popcorn touches, as well. It was one of the prettiest brunches I've ever had. The waitresses were super kind as well, and the space is nice and airy, with an outdoor seating option also. A very pleasant last brunch in Cairns!

Yelp
This place is pretty good but I was expecting better from other reviews and photos online ‍. I guess the competition isn't huge in Cairns because it was definitely the nicest place I found online. No Oysters on the menu though :( Brekkie was fine. Zucchini fritters were nice, unpleasantly sweet tomato chutney that I avoided, great soft (goats?) cheese. Risk it for the brisket was not awe inspiring.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, decor and atmosphere. Great coffee too, which is rare for Cairns in my opinion. They forgot the avocado in one of the salads but took it back, gave extra avocado in the new one and took the price of the salad off the bill. I would definitely recommend.
