Not impressed by the seafood buffet.

Chart room bar area (not Wednesdays) is my go to for a more mellow area. Service is always great! . I ordered the Oscar filled, WOW! Filet cooked to the perfect medium, topped with a stack of king crab. The sides served were a few slices of zucchini and broccoli with a bowl of what I will call, scalloped potatoes because of the cheesy sauce mix, oh so yummy. And then there's that red sauce that's like a mix of bbq, a1, bloody Mary and stuff something idk, but i enjoyed it! It was too much for me but I would still order it again! Brownie ala mode for dessert!

We're locals and it's pretty casual living here. Once in awhile we like to dress up and sit in comfort in a quiet atmosphere, have a nice glass of wine and a meal. We appreciate the servers who appear to care about our positive experience. The Chart Room has seen its ups and downs over the years, but we'll not give up, this place has an important role in our community and we'll keep coming back.

The seafood buffet was fine. Unfortunately I was overcharged by several hundred dollars -- I was with a large group with many seperate checks, and I think somehow many of them ended up on my credit card. I have been in touch with managers but nothing has been done to resolve it.

Food is low quality and poorly cooked. Prices are over inflated. The Seafood Buffet use to be the best in AK, but is now full of deep fried and heavily processed fish. Your better off going across the street where they changed things up.

This is a fairly pricey place with good, but not great, food. It's probably the best restaurant in Dutch Harbor / Unalaska, but it still has limitations. The $34 Ribeye I ordered was well cooked and OK, but not a great piece of meat, and the veggies were pretty standard. The dessert (a cobbler) was good. The atmosphere was upscale corporate - but the view was good, the service prompt and friendly. This is the place to get a full sit-down meal ... but keep your expectations moderate.

I've got to agree - the seafood buffet is something to behold within Dutch Harbor. Should you pass on the buffet and join the resturaunt for dinner you're going to be pleasantly surprised. If you can believe it, I would consider this 4 star dining. The tables clothes are the purest white, the servers are polished and the wine list is extensive. If I may suggest the venison, you will likely be very impressed. In a location as unlikely and unassuming as Dutch Harbor - it's a nice reprieve from the Bering Sea to sit-down to a wonderful meal with your crew and share stories over a wholesome meal.

One of the few choices in Unalaska / Dutch but what a choice. Both Seafood and Beef are excellent - everyday lunch is order or buffet with Excellent choices. Fantastic wait staff. The hotel is kind of the only choice in town, but if you are interested in going to the frontier this is it. Best thing is you will not go hungry - and thankfully there are no "fast food " joints

$40 bucks for all you can eat crab, fresh tuna, oh and I'm a particular fan of chocolate covered strawberries and their little berry smoothies. They also have some fresh salmon... pretty much the most amazing brunch in the world. As long as you like fresh seafood. I don't know when I will get up there again - but Wednesdays and Sundays are a special day in Dutch.

The Chart Room is a nice, pleasant surprise in Duth Harbor. The first time that I went here I was not expecting a corparate upscale dining experiance here with nothing around except fishing. The wait staff is courteous and helpful, especially Dave. The bartender Steve was an asshole, but in a good way, not quite fitting the planned atmosphere but refreshing. Great view, the food is a little pricey but so is everything else in Dutch. All in all, worth a visit.

I took my boss and VP of my company to The Chart Room on 3/10 and we had a great time here. Professional and mature atmosphere. Beer was ice cold and the food was great. I highly recommend the King Crab! Our server was awesome with an outgoing personality. I wish I remembered her name but she was great!

Probably the freshest seafood in the world! The $38 seafood buffet is well worth it! The best tuna, salmon, halibut, and crab legs.. unlimited too! Well worth it if you're ever in Dutch Harbor... for whatever... odd reason..

My reasoning behind a generous 4 star rating for the Chart Room in Dutch Harbor is the ambiance, views, and the relaxed fine dining. Their food is negotiable, other than an excellent Sunday brunch, well worth the $35. They had all sorts of seafood, breakfast items, salads, meats, and desserts. Their service was friendly and helpful, and the place was neat and had a classy appeal to it. I would definitely come back for a future stop in Dutch Harbor.

Awesome seafood buffet. Nothing like it anywhere as it is as fresh as it gets and cooked just right. Love this place.

What a pleasant surprise after a day of exploring Unalaska to enjoy expertly mixed cocktails at the elegant Chart Room bar and then adjourn to a table in this grand dining room for gourmet fine dining. Not only excellent meat and seafood options....I had a Kale Risotto that rocked. Hats off to the chef, bartender, and waitstaff!
