The Cheesecake Factory

We visited this Cheesecake factory location on a weekday evening before 6 pm and hence could try their happy hour menu. The wine and appetizers that we tried during the happy hour were great value for money compared to those in the usual menu. I highly recommend the fried mac and cheese, avocado tacos and Korean cauliflower. For cheesecakes, we tried 4 different ones - original, 30th anniversary, mango key lime and Oreo. All of them were amazing and so unique! Service was friendly and quick.

The food was amazing and the service was great. The bread was fresh and warm and the pasta was delicious and on point! My daughter really enjoyed her butter Parmesan and the meat ball and spaghetti was perfectly seasoned and enough for my 12 year old.

Absolutely amazing! For my first time there, with company, I have to say that it was an incredible experience. The food was delicious the atmosphere nice and friendly. And we got served by dusty from stranger things! Well not him, but he looked just like him!! I swear!! Go and see for yourself, I didn’t want to take a picture of him because I would have been doing to much!

ALWAYS GREAT 👍 Nothing bad with this chain or this particular place. Everything is mostly as it should be at this price point. Only reason for no 5* is because it's not somewhere unforgettable and slightly pricey *for what you get*. Some of the dishes are either too high in price or too high in calories! Still great 👍 The light menu is GREAT 🤩

I've been to the Cheesecake Factory a lot as a kid, but I didn't remember it being this good! The food was so fresh and delicious. You won't leave hungry! Service was on the slower side, but the food really made up for it.

The Cheesecake Factory's menu is as extensive as any beloved local diner's, not to mention their array of cheesecakes! Despite its 'chain' label, the consistency in service quality and culinary delight across locations is remarkable. So I love chains! And who could forget those generous Cheesecake Factory portions? Delicious! 🤩 On a side note, they've ceased the birthday song tradition due to feedback at corporate about it disrupting others dining experience. Isn’t that part of the fun?! 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Maybe my experience was isolated but I thought it was okay experience I went there for my son's leap year birthday a very special day for me and my family the first server we had was very nonchalant I requested a different server the manager provided that to me I was grateful the second server we were provided she was good but she was too busy it did not feel like a special event and we waited a long time our reservation was at 6:30 we waited at least 45 minutes before food came out I didn't like that I thought that was horrible and then I had to continue communicating that it was my son's birthday so they can write happy birthday on a piece of cheesecake and I wrote that in my reservation. Besides the long waiting it took forever for us to get bread it took forever for us to get our food the manager in the end went above and beyond to hear my concerns he even took off my son's meal from the check as a apology that was very nice because of my experience and they provided the cake with happy birthday on it and they sing Happy Birthday in the end the manager is the icing on the cake at this location he really cared and what above and beyond what's he noticed our experience was not going okay and I appreciate him so much for that I will go back. You should go here too because no place is perfect but at least management is willing to listen and do something about an issue.

My first time here and the atmosphere was top shelf. AJ gave us great service, but the Chef did not deliver a juicy burger. They even cut it open to check that it was overcooked. The crab appetizer was delish. The desserts were also good. Try the Peach Lemonade. They have to tools as I saw the nice grill. Techniques have to show up. Great place to eat. Notice, no pic of burger 😐

Went for an early Sunday dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Newport mall at it was a nice experience. We had the Chicken Parmesan Pizza Style and the Chicken Bellagio and both were nice-sized and very good. Our server Cece B was super friendly and helpful. We also did a takeout order (via DoorDash) and it was prepared nicely and packed well for travel. Solid all around!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered at a Cheesecake Factory: The Cheesecake Factory is a classic comfort pick my family and I used to go to since I was ten, and I have been to locations all over California, New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey for over two decades. First time at the Newport Mall location and I can't even comment on the food because we never got it. My wife and I decided to sit down for a Sunday night dinner after a movie. We get seated around 7:05 and order by 7:15. Our waitress is nowhere in sight by 7:45 until a line cook comes by to tell us that our order is not available. It took thirty minutes to realize that the restaurant does not have enough ingredients for their classic Louisiana Chicken Pasta dish? The waitress then explains that "she forgot to tell us" and that she can bring by the menu to change our order. We decide to leave at this point given our frustration with the service. Only at this point does the hostess come by to apologize (fairly insincerely at that) saying that she will bring the bill for the cocktail we ordered. Any hospitality school would have taught to at least make an attempt to make amends, whether that is an appetizer on the house until we can make a replacement order or at the very least a waived bill on a $13 drink after 40 minutes of lost time. The manager swings by at the last second to take the bill away telling us not to worry about it as she walks away. If anything, she should be worrying about the quality of service that is degrading the chain's reputation. Message to Corporate: Staff needs better training. Safe to say we will never be returning to this location, and I hope the others continue to have reasonably decent customer service that I have seen over the past two decades.

When I tell I love it here I mean it with everything in me. This is my happy place. The menu is a book of goodness anything you can dream of. And any place that has desserts as a specialty is amazing. The cheesecake here is sent from heaven. Better than anywhere else in the planet. Today I had the steak Diane and I tell you what it's all I have been thinking about ever since. I also had the shrimp scampi and it was to die for the shrimps were breaded omg breaded I have never had it that way and honeyyyyy it did not disappoint . The service was okay we waited awhile at the host station to be seated and it was pretty empty. The Cheesecake Factory is a beautiful place to take your family. The inside is gorgeous you can celebrate anything here.

We go to Newport Mall quite often, so we spontaneously decided to go round Cheesecake today. What a mistake, should've just went to the food court instead. The Mac and cheese balls were cold... the pasta was fine, nothing special. I've been to better cheesecakes. Now let's get to the service. The waitress forgot about us and so after waiting for some time, we asked another waiter for assistance. He just stared at us like we were bothering him. We asked him for two take out boxes, he gave us one. We asked for the bill and we saw him talk to our waitress about it. She looked at us and walked away, wasn't seen again. The guy ended up getting us our bill. It was just an awkward experience. The restaurant itself was messy. When we walked in, there was bread and other food all over the floor. I had to be careful about where I stepped. Definitely won't be coming back.

Food (4/5): We ordered the chicken madeira and chicken picatta. The bread came out first and it was actually really fresh and delicious. I particularly liked the wheat one. The chicken madeira was solid and the chicken succulent. The chicken picatta was also quite good! Service (4/5): Overall ok service. We had to ask for bread a couple times before it came out. The food came out in not too long. Our server was friendly and helpful. Ambiance (4/5): Nice and well lit interior as expected from a cheesecake factory. Some of the utensils came a bit dirty and they just put it on the table without a napkin to keep clean. Overall though nice interior.

Too much jelly in the apple, not enough ice cream to balance the sweetness of the dish. I won't get it again but since no one posted the dish I figured I would because I wished I could see it before I ordered it. It's enough for 3-4 people to eat! It tasted pretty good the apple peel was cooked & seemed there were plastic like pieces ending up in my mouth from it couldn't enjoy.

Food: Soo many options, can be a bit overwhelming, but overall the food was pretty good. I'm not sure about the rest of the dishes in terms of quality since there are sooo many options, I do not know how quality control will be for everything. However, their cheesecake is great! I mean, I'm glad it is hence the name. I would def return to try the rest of the flavors. Service: Good. Ambiance: Clean and not too crowded.

My fiancé and I came to this Cheesecake Factory twice and we had a good experience both times. The servers were friendly and checked up on us multiple times. The bread for starters were nice and warm and fresh. The wheat bread tasted amazing especially with the butter. We got the bread twice because it was pretty good. The entree I got was Chicken Piccata. The flavor was very good but it felt extremely heavy. For me, they added way too much oil or butter. Overall, we enjoyed the place. The place was nice and clean, and had many seatings. The food potion was huge and the service was good.

I came here for lunch once on a weekday and the service was decent. I always get the chicken littles dish and usually always have leftovers! I'm glad the dish is always there as it is my go to. I appreciate that the server was able to accommodate separate checks. I also gotten a birthday cheesecake slice and the service was quick at the dessert counter. Staff was super friendly and nice.

East Coast. The food here is about the same as the other Cheesecake Factory, with an incredibly large selection of food from many cuisines, none of which tasting very good, aside from the free bread. This particular one located in Newport has quite a nice atmosphere, but their staff are quite forgetful. Overall, if you want a large quantity of food and a reasonable area to dine, this is not a particularly bad option. (Peach Lemonade: A) - One of the biggest pluses at the Cheesecake Factory is their lemonade with unlimited refills. The original lemonade tastes reasonable, although sugary, but the rest of the flavors taste artificial for sure. Nevertheless, you can't really go wrong with a $4 unlimited refill squeezed lemonade. (Cajun Pasta: D) - This pasta warns diners of its immense spicy flavor and the server even had to confirm with me because this dish was spicy. TLDR: typical huge portions and food done as well as any other Cheesecake Factory, but the service was great. The standard Cheesecake Factory experience applies: - huge portions of food (shared the factory nachos "appetizer" as a full meal for two) - long food prep time - food done as well as Cheesecake Factory can do (pretty solid) Went on a weeknight so there was no wait to be seated, but the service was great thanks to one particularly friendly waiter.

I was late to my reservation by 20 minutes and they still got me a table in less than 5 minutes. It was off to a great start. Our server, Stephanie was an angel. She provided us with amazing services. Here's the issue with Cheesecake Factory. Prepare for decision paralysis. The menu is gigantic and it's really hard to sift through it all. I added going with the bang bang platter (chicken and shrimp) with white rice. We also had a ton of apps to try. My entree was not the best. Rice was undercooked and the sauce to bang bang sauce was not the same flavor profile as traditional bang bang. I will save they were not shy with the shrimp. Some highlights were the avocado egg rolls with tamarind type sauce. OMG!! Top 10 appetizer's I've ever eaten. The fried mac bites were pleasant. The drinks are crafted by a real bartender not a premixed concoction. The wine also has various pour amounts. I appreciated those details. The menu really has options for everyone, definitely will be back to attack more things.

Solid meal. You always know what to expect and they deliver it. Always get the bread to start. Chicken Madeira was on point.

I have been to this Cheesecake Factory twice - for lunch and for dinner. The food is standard Cheesecake Factory; take that however you wish. I love Cheesecake's food, so the mark was hit for me! I'm always a fan of the four cheese pasta and the avocado egg rolls. When we went for lunch, service was excellent. No complaints. However, when we went for dinner, although our waiter was kind, service was a mess. We were given our appetizer and entree at the same time, and then nobody came to check in with us for nearly 2 hours. One of our sides was forgotten, as well. The staff members at the front were also quite rude. I understand dinner is much busier than lunch, but to not be checked on for 2 hours is a little much. Additionally, the staff seems incredibly confused by the new rewards program. Every time I bring up a coupon/reward I have, they seem completely befuddled. I think the reward system is great in theory but needs a little more work on Cheesecake's end before it's totally flushed out.

Revisiting the JC location after about a year, felt like nothing changed. Menu is still reads like a book and you really get value when doing happy hour which is 4-6 weekly. We got the double burger with fries for $10. Relative steal compared to what burgers cost these days. This wasn't a smash burger or overly cheesy greasy creation. Just a good burger with blond fries. Pickles and lettuce on the side served on a charcuterie board. No complaints and unlimited refills soda hit the spot.

There's something extremely nostalgic about the Cheesecake Factory but I always have a great time here and love flipping through the HUGE menu. DO NOT FORGET TO REQUEST THE BROWN BREAD!! Our faves: - fried calamari appetizer - miso salmon - fish tacos - pasta da Vinci We got the banana cheesecake which was good but we were SO full by the time it came.

I did not have a good meal. The service was good and the waiters were fast. However I thought that the food was way too oily - unnecessarily so. The cutlet I had seeped with oil with each cut. Atmosphere and ambience is typical of chain restaurants and nothing special.

We went there and got no cheesecake. You figured why did we even go if we didn't get cheesecake? Well, the place actually have vegan (may not be necessarily healthy) options. The place was packed on a Tuesday evening, go figure. Appetizer: Quesadilla - it is actually good and decent guacamole. Salads: I liked my Vegan salad. My next table neighbor had a huge veggie dish and I may get that next time. Cheesecake: It looked delicious but I am giving up cheesecake for lent. It was devoured by our next table neighbors in a minute!

I regret coming here. The portions are huge but the food is mediocre. Service was fine if slow, and the tables aren't great. I don't recall Cheesecake Factory being this bad before in Boston...maybe it's just this location.

It's 11:10 on Saturday and I was here at 11, together with four other customers. The line is getting longer and longer. The staff doesn't care about how many customers are there. Just setting up her stuff. Not sure why that's so important than taking in a few take out orders. Finally at 11:15 a male staff showed up. And started to take orders.

So we ordered via doordash for pick up. Everything was cold. Ordered sweet chili shrimp- which caused me to write this review. It was mid at best. Not crispy and absolutely dry no sauce. And extremely over done. The kids ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and the corn dog selection they both liked their food even cold. There was no sour cream or salsa given with the quesadilla and no ketchup for the fries. We also ordered the egg roll appetizer and had to throw it in the air fryer because it was cold and soggy. The chicken with pineapple was also cold and flavor mid. Everything was mid and quite disappointing to say the least.

LISTEN I understand it's the MALL but Cheesecake Factory has no excuse to be soooooo FILTHY on top of having HORRIBLE SERVICE first of all the floor was disgusting and all sticky like a movie theater floor !! I had to brush something outta my seat just to sit down the service or lack there of was deplorable was never offered water or bread but I can hear my same waiter asking the table next to me if they wanted white or brown bread ? Sprinkling or still ? At this point I was annoyed but keeping it cool I simply reminded my waiter he never offered me bread or water A SHAME .. COCKTAILS DO NOT waste your money super sweet and watered down NOWWWW for the best part and the LAST STRAW !! .. I get my appetizer an order of fried calamari I see red sauce and assume maybe it's cocktail sauce right?? cause who eats calamari with ketchup right WELL it was KETCHUP and inside of the ketchup was a HALF EATEN FRENCH FRY at that point I got SICK TO MY STOMACH walked out and left before my entree came NEVER AGAIN !

It is what it is, a typical franchise. Our waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. I had the salmon lunch special. The serving was plentiful and tasty. I came in on a Saturday, the place was crowded and loud. If you're looking for a place to eat at the newport mall this place has reasonable food options for you.

Listen! We all know the Cheesecake Factory is Applebee's with a lace front. Now their margarita was good but I was here for the Buffalo BLAST!!! They are a burst of flavor in your mouth. I also had the stuff mushrooms which was good too! Our server Ms.Dee was very nice. I had a great experience. I can't wait to have those Buffalo BLAST again!! You gotta shout out BLAST when you say it. BLAST off to a flavorful universe of spices, marinated buffalo chicken with a crispy finish, yummmm

Visited this outlet 4 times by now. Probably my most visited place in Jersey city. The service is really good and the staff is polite. They are helpful as well. The ambience in this restaurant is good and has a feel good factor here. I usually prefer their appetizers and entrées to their flagship cheesecake. One of the main reasons being though they have a lot of flavors, there's something about the cheesecake which feels missing also the other thing being their appetizers and entrée quantity is really good. I mostly order Nacho's as they are pretty filling and act as an amazing sharable with friends. A big shout out to their staff as recently I had forgotten my credit card at their restaurant but they secured it as soon as I called them up and returned it back to me safely the next day!

Had a brunch there today. The food was not bad (old fashioned burger, soft shell tacos with shrimp and spicy tuna for an appetizer), but the side salad that went with the burger was nasty. Looked like the greens there had died several days before: brownish and starting to rotten. How can one put such a thing on a customer plate?!

The wait time was horrible and the hostess staff needs retraining. The don't notate properly and there's no structure. We never had to make reservations before, but we were told so upon arrival. Made the reservation for 7:30pm which was an hour and a half wait on a Saturday. We waited at the bar. When 7:30pm came around, we received no notification. Ten minutes after, still no notification. We went to the reservation desk to inquire, they forgot about us. After, trying to muddle through this mishap, we were told to wait in the waiting area to be called in order to be seated. We were seated another five minutes later. Disappointing. When we were seated, we noticed the silverware was not cleaned properly. We asked for boiling hot water to put them. Our waiter was great and explained the specials for the day. The food was good. Our waiter was attentive and I liked his nicely manicured nails. The bar staff was nice and friendly. We won't come back to this location again.

Unfortunately I have to give this location a big no. The location is big and had a nice bar area. Food: The food completely lacked flavor. When it came out so colorful I had high hopes but they missed the mark. I should have known when our bread and butter came out and the butter was so cold and hard. My fiancé returned his Cajun pasta and ordered the chicken sandwich instead the cheese wasn't melted and the plate looked like kids play food. Service: The service wasn't bad at all but nothing to rave over. I'm big on the server stating their name and they did not. Overall: There is a lot of food in the area that you can go to instead of here.

It was wonderful here. The staff was friendly, and the food was made quickly. The environment wasn't too loud, and my drink kept getting refilled. I will definitely be back.

Friendly service at the table, but the host lady was not very friendly at all. Ppl were trying to get her attention to get tables, but she doesn't even notice or care with such an attitude like she doesn't want to be there or talk to ppl. Very bad look for any hospitality businesses. Great burgers and pasta were a little salty. Overall, there are no complaints about the food.

I gave second chance to Cheesecake Factory. My reservation was 8.00 pm and I got my table at 8.40 pm after that they got our food to table at 9.35. Wasting time...

Have given this location multiple chances, they screw something up every time. There's definitely something wrong in how they train their servers, kitchen has gotten food correct but service has always been worthless. Waited 20 mins for a ginger ale, order put in wrong by servers, forgetting about our table. You name it and it's gone wrong here. Absolutely pitiful location, if I could give it 0 stars I would. Never had issues like this at other locations.

Paid $20+ for a bag of lettuce. Cobb salad arrived with laughable traces of egg, cheese, zero avocado and very few pieces of strange rubbery chicken cubes vs the regular shredded chicken. Quality and quantity unacceptable. Photos included of what arrived. Very sad as I've been ordering this salad for many years in multiple locations. This location has always been somewhat of a disappointment but this was beyond unacceptable this time and will never order take out from this location again. My husband's chicken dish was also pretty inedible rubbery chicken. He threw away without finishing. Quality really needs to be checked at this location.

I spent well over 10 minutes on the phone trying to tell the hostess to let the kitchen know I want my sauce on the side. I waited patiently for 5 minutes before hanging up to call again. Even after explaining that I'd like to make a small request before they finish making my food, she still put me on a long hold. I called again and asked if she would let them know, and she hung up. It was so crazy because if she lied about letting them know, she could have gotten rid of me sooner. It was just rude for the sake of being rude Of course the sauce was on the sandwich, and I was so put off by the hostess's attitude.

A great place to dine with all the good food amicable service the coziest restaurant to satisfy your cravings. I always look forward in having my best meal after a hard day's work.

There's a wait to be seated. They didn't ask about vaccinations nor require mask use. Service is slow so expect to spend at least an hour dining. Bathrooms are near the kitchen, at the rear of restaurant. Booths are better option for seating, although service is faster near the bar. Very casual environment. Food is average. Fine for catching up with friends and family or if you're tired of the mall activity. Drinks are good. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. Not too shabby but not a destination spot

Ordered an alcoholic pink lemonade and felt something as I was drinking it. I tried to bite into it thinking it was sugar from the rim but it was hard. I spit it out and it was a shard of glass. All they did was comp my drink with the glass in it and a cheesecake. I'll reconsider eating at Cheesecake Factory from now on.

Went there for a weekday dinner with family after a long day. Not sure if it was because it was 8PM but the nothing was positive that night. We had plates with stuck on food, no napkins, and no bread. The food tasted good but was lukewarm by the time we got it. Bread was told it was unavailable after our entrees were delivered. They must have been really short staffed since it took another 25 minutes to get our check. Was not a memorable visit.

Amazing service! We had voiced a concern abour our food to our waiter Hector and he fixed it immediately and 2 minutes later the manager came to our table to make sure everything was okay! If y'all come and have a problem voice your concern and I am positive management or your waiter will take care of it. Such a great example of customer service for a franchise!!

I recently came here for Dinner and Natalie was our waitress. We have had her twice as our waitress and she is amazing. She has a great bubbly personality and she is very attentive. I have no complaints !thank you Natalie

good service, big portions but TOO SALTY :( we ordered the louisiana chicken pasta & the chili crunch shrimp pasta & they both came out WAYYYYY too salty. i never send food back but i had to this time :( the server was super nice about it & i think it was a manager that he spoke with that asked if i would like it remade. the louisiana pasta came back a little less salty but honestly i think they just rinsed it in water or something & put more sauce on the same pasta cause it came back with the same chicken that i took a bite out of LOL the server told me that sometimes this happens where they salt the pasta water too much (which is an honest mistake tbh i could see it happening during a busy time) but the manager just said that the sauce is a little salty to begin with :/ we only ate about 1/3 all in all it was just an ok experience. dont think i'll be retuning to this location

Ordered many times takeouts during the whole pandemic and had only good experiences. Food were always packaged well, fresh and came with the complementary breads. I have to say the takeout experiences are in general much better than the dine in experience I had before - as food preparations were updated in app real time and they had a section for DoorDash pickup. The staffs were super nice and quick. After a lot of trials my go to meal is the shrimp and chicken gumbo - where the rice was untraditionally just white rice instead of mixed in. It was huge and the cajun sauce was terrific. Second fav is bang bang chicken and shrimp which is a Thai fusion with some creamy curry sauce. And for small plates the top 1 in my mind is the stuffed mushrooms- rich in cheese and the sauce was just unbelievable. Crispy Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflowers are decent as well.

When arriving, my friends and I were told that the wait for a booth would be 45-60 minutes. The host then told us that if we wanted one of the smaller, higher up tables, we would be seated right away. We ended up going with the smaller table since we were already super hungry and felt it'd probably fit us. The type of table we were at had 4-5 chairs around a round table but i'd definitely say that if you want to be comfortable and not feel crowded, sit at those tables only if you have a max party size of 3 (you'd probably be seated faster like us with a smaller party anyway). Any more than that and you'd definitely be elbow to elbow and have no space for all the plates/drinks. The service was actually phenomenal! To be honest, I was a little bit skeptical of how we'd be treated because of a negative experience another friend of mine had here in the past. However, we actually had a super attentive and very sweet waitress. Her tone was kind, and she answered any questions we had about the menu. The menu is HUGE but I ended up ordering the Fried Calamari for my appetizer and for my main dish I ordered the Chicken Costoletta with a side of fries. Later for dessert, I ordered a slice of Oreo Dream Cheesecake. The Fried Calamari appetizer was very "eh" at best. The breading didn't stick and was all over the place and I found myself dipping the Calamari into the marinara sauce or french dip to give it more flavor. The Chicken Costoletta with fries was incredible! The chicken was breaded correctly, packed with flavor and the sauce was delicious. Fries are fries, but they weren't soggy, didn't taste overly salty and came in a little cup. The Oreo Dream Cheesecake was EASILY the best part of the entire night! They gave me a pretty huge slice with a giant Oreo cookie on top of it and a side of whipped cream. The chocolate top & bottom combo'd perfectly with the middle layer of cheesecake while the whipped cream served as a nice optional topping if I ever chose to add some. It was definitely a very satisfying way to round out the whole meal. If you'd like to try new menu items you haven't had before, I'd definitely recommend the ones I had with potentially a different appetizer as it was the one thing holding back my experience here from being higher.

Sat at a two top behind the hostess station at the Newport Centre cheesecake factory tonight (Jan 28th) around 5pm. Paid via phone (0194). Wish I got our waiter's name because he was excellent. Young man with light brown skin and black bushy hair, if that helps. I just wanted to let you know he was great. Sadly, I don't often get good service when I'm out so I really appreciated him. Food was good too. I hope the young man gets this praise. I was the woman with pink hair dinning with my boyfriend.

Avoid this place at all costs, pretty rude and racist environment. The worst customer service i have ever seen, the staff was very unprofessional and totally unapologetic. This was the first time we visited and were shocked by the level of staff inefficiency. The hostess gave us a table per request and then a few min later the server asked us pretty rudely to move to the back of the restaurant. When confronted, the hostess / manager started lying and said she never allotted this table and it was reserved. Also, threatened to call security when the argument started. All of this despite the fact we had a 3 yr old and two senior citizens with us.

Who knew they had such a great happy hour still! ...yes it used to be better but- At least they still have it! Food and drink discounted - much better than the place across the way
