There is no way to sugarcoat the long wait you will experience to dine at this place during prime time dinner hours, they do not take reservations. With that said, if you make the decision to stay, it will absolutely be worth the wait. Franklin’s smiling face and easygoing attitude greets you when you come in and takes your party’s name. (we had a party of 6) He does a phenomenal job doing anything that needs to be done as he constantly makes his way around the restaurant checking on table availability and interacting with customers, he never stops! After we were seated, our drink order was taken almost immediately. Our server Johnny was excellent. Actually every server that attended to us were friendly, attentive and efficient. Our appetizers were fantastic, the entrees were fabulous and the desserts were amazing. We all tried a little of each other’s dish, and each of us agreed that every dish was delicious. The Chef’s Table is definitely a must try restaurant!

Our favorite place to hang, eat, and celebrate! All the food is consistently amazing. We order everything - and it is always awesome. Difficult to pick a favorite. The menu changes seasonally - and they are always changing the menu up with new things to try!

My husband and I visited The Chef’s Table for lunch today as part of our day date after a movie, and we were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely spectacular. Our server asked if it was our first time, and after we said yes, he took the time to share a bit of the restaurant’s background — it’s family owned and operated, which instantly gave it a warm, welcoming feel. He offered some great menu recommendations, and while he was attentive and friendly throughout, he also gave us space to relax and enjoy our meal. And the food… wow. We started with the pastrami Reuben egg rolls — crispy on the outside with tender, flavorful meat on the inside, paired with a delicious dipping sauce. I ordered the T.C.T Peach Burger, and it was a total standout. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with fresh ingredients. My husband had the smoked prime rib French dip, which he couldn’t stop raving about. We also shared a side of classic beer-battered fries, which were golden, crispy, and addictive. Every bite felt thoughtful and well-crafted. You can truly tell the care that goes into both the food and the service. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — this place is a new favorite!

Chef’s Table is truly our favorite place! We get here 3-4 times a year, and each time is as amazing or better than the previous time. Great food and casual environment. They have a fun selection of cocktails as well as great selection of craft beer and wine. We most recently had two wonderful entrees. My wife had the Thai shrimp curry, and I had the Cajun rubbed pork chop (could be the best meal I’ve ever had at Chef’s Table). Already looking forward to our next time at Chef’s Table!! 😋

Google
Always worth the wait! They don’t take reservations so get there early or get there late. But there’s a reason why this place is always so packed. The food is amazing and they rotate several dishes in and out seasonally. Which means you can something new every time you go. I haven’t had a single bad (or even mediocre) meal here in the last 5 years. But the fish dish is always the absolute best. And if you like Negronis, Brett makes the best Negroni I’ve ever had, in my humble opinion. Plus, they have one of the best beer selections on tap, almost all local NorCal brews. We come for the food but stay for the amazing people that make up Chef’s Table!!

Dining at The Chef's Table was an exceptional experience. The menu is thoughtfully curated and bursting with flavors that showcase the chef's skill and creativity. While the restaurant may be on the pricier side, the quality and professionalism of the food and service more than justifies the cost. Every dish was a culinary delight, but the scallops and stroganoff were truly standout dishes that left a lasting impression. For anyone seeking a memorable dining experience, the chef's table is a must-visit destination.

This place is always consistently great! Friendly service and excellent food. If you sit at the counter, it's entertaining to watch them cook. They also have a great selection of rotating beers.

Food and service was phenomenal we stopped here just on a whim and I'm definitely glad we did I got the filet mignon and it didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Best chef, staff and cocktails in town!! If you have to wait, it's well worth it I promise... also they have a PB and J burger that's mental.

Yelp
A hidden gem that completely blew us away! We stumbled upon Chef's Table not knowing what to expect, and wow--what an unforgettable experience. From the outside, it's charming and unassuming, but the moment the food hit the table, we were absolutely floored. Our server, Nicholas, was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. The scallops? Easily some of the best I've ever had--perfectly seared and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The peach burger was such a delightful surprise--sweet, juicy, and bursting with flavor. And the short ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfection. Every bite was cooked with so much love and skill. If you're anywhere near this place--go. It's the kind of spot you want to tell everyone about, but also kind of want to keep secret for yourself.

Yelp
Walked in (no reservations taken) and was told there was about a 30 minute wait. Walked around the parking lot to checked out the other stores, and just as discussed- 30 min to get a table. What they do not mention tho is that it's about 10 minutes to take your order and about 45 min to bring your food! So you are sitting there for another hour with no food. Our waiter (Asian guy) and his teammate were super nice but..... when you have a kiddo with special needs - a 30 min wait for a table and 60min wait for the food is too long. The actual food was ok - my fried chicken was overdone and dry. My daughter loved her filet mignon and sauce. Not sure I would go back given the mediocre food and the 90 minute wait overall. The waiters and check-in guy were all super nice and friendly but stressed as the kitchen backs up all.

Yelp
A standout experience from start to finish! We dined at Chef's Table and were absolutely blown away--not just by the food, but by the service, the drinks, and the whole experience. Our servers, Archie and Brahm, were phenomenal. Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being pushy, and genuinely warm throughout the evening. They made us feel welcome and taken care of in every way. We started with the Pesto Fries, which were unreal--crispy, cheesy, and packed with fresh basil flavor. Total must-order. For entrees, we had the Pan Seared Scallops and the T.C.T. Peach Burger. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a beautiful sear, served over rich fried smash potatoes and a smoky cherry tomato beurre blanc that we could've eaten by the spoonful. The peach burger was such a fun surprise--grilled Twin Peaks peaches, applewood smoked bacon, and balsamic glaze gave it a sweet-savory balance that worked incredibly well. It's not your average burger, and that's a good thing. As for drinks, we tried two of the cocktails and loved both. The Whistle Pig Old Fashioned was strong and smooth with just the right citrusy twist, and the Blackberry Jalapeño Margarita had the perfect balance of heat and sweetness--refreshing with a subtle kick. Chef's Table nails every detail, and Archie and Brahm really took the whole evening to the next level. We'll absolutely be back--and we're bringing friends. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Whenever we are looking for a tasty meal and a good cocktail we go to The Chef's Table. It can be a busy place but the staff are very friendly and you can order a drink while you are waiting for a table (if you have to wait). We like to order the shareables because there are so many good options to choose from. If you have any questions they are always helpful. The staff at the bar make amazing drinks and the food comes out pretty quickly.

Yelp
Still one of the best dining experiences ever. Our server Nick was fantastic with his suggestions and service. We had the recommended specials. The mussels were OMG good. I had the short ribs which were amazing. And the others had the peach burger. Also amazing. And a filet. Cooked to perfection. If you're in the area. Do NOT miss a chance to eat here!!!

Yelp
While in the area, someone told me that this restaurant has great food and a menu Du jour. The ambience is intimate and unassuming. Our server explained the beer and cocktail menu right away. I tried their Farmers Light Beer, my wife had the Hawaiian Mule cocktail which she mentioned was refreshing. For our entrees, I had the Braised beef short rib Argentinian style. So tender and flavorful, dressed with a really good chimichurri sauce. The green beans and sweet polenta were also a perfect pairing. My wife had the Alaskan Halibut which she mentioned was flaky, pan seared accompanied by a cauliflower puree. We were satisfied with the meal portions. The servers were wonderful and attentive; they all took turns in checking on us. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in town. The crew knows me by name and they know my order by heart. They produced a consistent and fantastic product and they really do their best to be attentive to everyone. I'm grateful I live so close now that I can frequent this establishment so often! There isn't anything on the menu I haven't tried and there isn't anything on the menu I haven't enjoyed. Beef, short rib, and panag curry on top of the top.

Yelp
Been wanting to go to this place for awhile now and finally was able to try it! It is in a busy shopping center in Rocklin. When you walk in it looks very basic, nothing fancy. A bar and some tables. I ended up getting the peach bacon burger and a peach cocktail. Cocktail was very good but a little pricey. The burger and pickle was extremely flavorful. The peach added a perfect sweet and savory, bacon was crisp yet tender. Everything is a la carte. My friend got the risotto which she liked. I do think it's kinda pricey for a la carte, but they seem to use fresh, seasonal ingredients. The good and service was overall good.

Yelp
Local farm to table restaurant, small town feel with a limited amount of tables. Long wait times during weekend dinner rush, waited a little over an hour for a two top table. The service was wonderful, fast and efficient without rushing. The egg rolls were delicious, the sauce was amazing! I really enjoyed the burger with a huge pickle! The chicken mushroom risotto was okay, wouldn't order again. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu!

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here since I moved to the area 8 years ago . Everyone talks about this place some people love it some people say it's okay . I came in expecting the most . We tried to come previous times, but there is always a wait. So fast-forward it was a Saturday night and I said I really want to try this place out no matter how long the wait is so, We waited an hour on a Saturday night. Walking into this restaurant is very small inside. Seems like there is two sides there is a big bar in the middle that divides the room. Each side has a few tables to seat for dinner and then there is bar seating as well. Everyone was super nice and attentive. The food all comes a la carte. There is no kids menu so we ordered my son a burger a plain burger which comes with no sides so that burger alone was $21 dollars not including my son's drink, which I know is 3 to 4 dollars. We ordered the pastrami, reuben eggrolls so delicious! I highly recommend them . We also ordered the Short Rib it was very good. I just felt like the pieces were not cut up so they were just on top of the pasta . We ordered a red velvet dessert that was really delicious. For our drinks, we got an old-fashioned that I know the liquor was a little bit better so it was $22 I got a "Tank Tini " for $18 . At the end of our dinner we all smelled a strong scent of marijuana in the room really strong . I could see the people at the bar and they were looking at us telling us it wasn't them . It was just a little awkward moment where everybody could smell it, but nobody knew where it was coming from. My honest opinion this place is overpriced for what you get . What I mean what you get is the ambience.. It feels more like a bar. You could definitely go to a different place. That is really nice with a nice ambience for the same price for the food and they might even have sides to them. The ambience doesn't match the price tag.

Yelp
Moved to Sac from the Bay and it's been tough trying to find restaurants that make me say WOW!!! How unique or I'll be coming back.. etc. etc. 11/21/24. Yayyy!!! Hubby's Birthday!!! No reservations and you can join the waitlist on arrival only. I don't usually wait, but we had already drove out 40 minutes in the rain and I had to do it for his birthday. I could already tell it's packed by just walking towards the door. Nice guy told us the wait for 2 was gona be 30-40 minutes, but only waited for 20. Nice! Our waiter was cool and friendly! Did my research before coming so, we were ready to order. //APPETIZERS: 4/5 stars. Pastrami Reuben Egg Rolls $16+ Shaved pastrami, swiss cheese, caraway, sauerkraut, whole grain mustard, with russian dressing. - Love the crispy-ness! I like the meaty taste, so I wished I tasted more pastrami. Slightly sour because of the sauerkraut. Maybe I'm so used to/enjoy filipino eggrolls that I wasn't into this egg roll as I would like to be. The russian dressing was, also, on the slight sour side. Wished the sauce was sweet since the egg rolls were already slightly sour. Still pretty delicious! The cheese and crispy-ness made up for it. 5/5 stars. Pan Seared Scallops $26+ Parsnip puree, green apple gravy, cranberry sauce, toasted pecans, and micro intensity green. - Yummmmmmmm buttery scallops and I can tell they put so much work on the sides. DELICIOUS! 4/5 stars. Oyster Shooter $6+ each Pacific oyster, house made ponzu, sake, siracha, micro cilantro, and piece of lemon on the side of the cup. - Ordered 2. One with sake and the other without cause I am preggo lol. Not suppose to be eating oysters, but haven't had one in sooo looong, so I risked it for the biscuit lol. Clean and buttery oyster. Delish light house made ponzu. Wished it had more cilantro and does not need lemon because ponzu was good enough. They made it into a small cocktail-like drink to sip on which was awesome! Better than any other oyster shooter I've had in a long time. //ENTREES: 5/5 stars. PB&J Burger $21+ TCT Bacon Jam Fig Burger. Rib brisket chuck blend ground beef, bacon, fig jam, brie, arugula, mustard aioli. - Peanut butter and jelly... WHAAAAAAAAT?! WOW! Amazing. Who would have thought a peanut butter and jelly burger would be a hit?! We wanted some thing different for a change and this was the star of the show. No arugula. No big deal. Just being detailed. Juicy beef, crispy bread, semi-crispy thick cut bacon, and not-so-sour thick, juicy pickle LALALALOOOVE IT!!! Every thing combined just worked out to perfection! 4/5 stars. Braised Beef Short Rib $39+ Beef short rib, red wine jus, butternut squash, and white polenta sauteed bloomsdale spinach, sorrel gremulata, vela dry jack. - Loved how the meat was super tender!!! Flavorful beefy taste and just melts in your mouth. Butternut squash sauce could use a gravy-like flavor to cut out a little bit of the fat from the beef and add more flavor over the white polenta. Would love to have more greens. Still DELICIOUS! 3/5. Caribbean Braised Pork Shank $38+ Toasted basmati rice with mango and coconut, caribbean veloute, chayote mignonette. - Flavorful! Star of the show was the rice and the non-existent sauce. The pork shank was chewy and kinda dry. It should have been fall off the bone, juicy, and tender. The whole entire entree should have been smothered with that yummy sauce. It was alright! Would order again if they make adjustments. //DESSERTS: They had 2 desserts to choose from. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, so I wasn't sure if it was on there. Asked our waiter and he said 1) Brownie with caramel glaze and vanilla ice cream. 2) Pumpkin with some sort of custard. Birthday boy picked the brownie with ice cream and OH BOYYY!!! Delicious! Brownie has melted filling and outer crispy shell and the ice cream on top with a caramel glaze was soooooooo gooooooood! It was a PHENOMENAL experience! Would love to come back for drinks (when not preggo) and just endless orders of scallops and oyster shooters. Shout out to the whole staff here!!! woOhOo!!! Even though the 3 entrees took an hour to come out, they came to us to let us know. They talked to us for a bit to welcome us and thanked us for our support. Grateful for our waiter who helped me sing happy birthday to my hubby =) I LOVE THE VIBE HERE!!! ESPECIALLY THE MUSIC THEY PLAYED AND HOW SUPPORTIVE THE STAFF WAS TOWARDS EACH OTHER AND TO US!!! Team work definitely makes the dream work. HAPPY EAT'S YA'LL!!!

Yelp
Went around 6pm and the place was packed. It's cozy and inviting. Everyone was friendly and engaging. Wait time was somewhere around 30-45 min. There are chairs where you can sit to wait and a server will take drink orders. The food was tasty. We got the egg rolls, meals we went with filet and stroganoff. & ended with the bread pudding.

Yelp
WOW, we finally went here for dinner. It was my wife's and My 36th wedding anniversary. We have been wanting to try The Chef's Table for a long time, but we're scared off by the no reservation part. I am sorry we waited so long. Our "official server" was Nicholas, but we were checked on and assisted by 4 other employees during our meal. We had pesto fries, beet salad, beef short rib, and mushroom pea risotto. And for dessert we had the bacon brownie with salted Carmel and Vanilla ice cream. Everything was excellent. Oh ya, I did not even mention all of the craft beers and signature well drinks. The restaurant is upscale, but casual at the same time. Overall all, we had a very nice evening to celebrate our anniversary. Nicholas and the rest of the staff were definitely worth every dollar and then some of the tip. We went early so the wait was not that long. I would be ok even if we had to wait an hour for a seat because this place was that good. We will definitely be returning. I will also be getting a gift certificate to give my son and wife to enjoy this wonderful place. Thank you again Chefs table, you and Q1227 are my top two restaurants, but service at chefs table is #1

Yelp
Ok...let's get straight to the point, get the "secret menu" item PB&J Burger. It may sound...weird...but don't worry, it'll be the best meal you've had all week. The sweet and salty are perfect, and you'll need extra napkins cause it'll be dripping juices everywhere. The service was nice and the ambience was causal bar type setting. They have a full bar and TVs with the game on. Thank me later.

Chanel N.

Yelp
By far my favorite restaurant in the Rocklin/Roseville area. Amazing service, amazing food, and they make you feel like family. There is a tight knit group of employees who always go above and beyond to ensure service is seamless. There may be a wait, but never a disappointment. From the best burger in the area, to their amazing seasonal halibut creations and cocktails, this is the place you want to be.

Yelp
Great food and Cheers-type bar atmosphere. I really felt like I met new friends with patrons at the bar eating and the same wait staff consistently. Excellent fresh food choices cooked to perfection. We come back again and again, always the same experience!

Yelp
I sent the following email to this business and never got a response. Guess they don't need anymore customers! Hi! I drove all the way out there for lunch and found a not open sign on the door! I even called before coming and the recording said you were open. It took numerous calls to get connected which was also frustrating! I have no idea when I can come back since there is no way for me to verify you are open! I'm so sad

Yelp
Oh my goodness.. The food, service and vibe is AMAZING !! I will return.. again, again and again. Go early it is a very popular place 10/10 The entire staff was excellent, our waiter Johnny was awesome !! :)

Yelp
We dined here as a group of 8 people. The host was very accomodating and gave us an eta of an hour wait which we were okay with. All 8 of us were here to try the Fried Chicken and see what all the rave was about. Let me tell you, each person had cleaned up their plates. No crumbs left behind! The chicken was super moist and the mashed potatos creamy and just the perfect amount of seasoning. Carrots were soft not mushy cutting into them was like butter. It lived up to the hype of the locals! For dessert we ordered 1 of each of their offerings. -Bacon Fat Brownie 10/10- Super Moist! -Carrot Cake- 10/10- Super Moist, we could taste the cinnamon and spices in the cake, tasted fresh - Strawberry Cornbread- 8/10- Personal preference tasted a bit salty for dessert. -Churro Bread Pudding 1/10- It was a weird texture for us. We can't wait to go back when in town and try the rest of the menu items!

Yelp
INCREDIBLE service, food and atmosphere. We were in town for the Canyons Endurance Trail runs and found The Chef's Table thanks to all these amazing yelp reviews. It's popular with the locals. Once you enter it seems like everyone knows each other ... big smiles and hugs from the staff to the patrons. The food is absolutely delicious ... we started with the beet salad which was perfect. 3 different types of beets - red, golden (which were pickled) and a pinkish/purplish one on a bed of fresh arugala lightly dressed with olive oil, lemon and pepper. There were also thinly sliced apples (galas I think) that brought extra crunch and sweetness. SO SO GOOD! we also have the Brie, bacon fig jam burger which was so tender, juicy (it's a 2 -3 napkin type of burger) and flavorful. It comes with a huge dill pickle halve to cut through the richness of the burger. It's memorable ... order it! Got a side of the fries (no pesto and cheese as I knew the burger would be rich) and they are crispy, potato-ey and addicting. we also had the korean short rib and pork shank. Both tender (no knife needed) and flavorful (though very different profiles). We wish we could have gotten dessert, but it was before race day. Bummed about that as I imagine the dessert must be excellent based on what we sampled. had to get a signature cocktail though :) Ordered the blueberry houle and it was light and refreshing. The blueberries were fresh and sweet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Water refills were fast (didn't have to ask) and people checked in on us/the meal to ensure all was A-OK. It was a very smooth, genuine, well organized and ran kitchen. Will be back!!!!

Yelp
I'm not one who easily gives 5 star reviews and says a meal was perfect...but it really was! The service was attentive, vibrant and all around made for a lovely night. The restaurant was filled and bumbling with conversation and laughter. A twenty minute wait for a special meal we'll remember for months to come.

Yelp
Outstanding food and service! My first time here! Will be back for sure. I had the Peruvian Tacos with a beautiful Blackberry Margarita.... The staff from the drink shaker , food deliverer, support staff.... AMAZING!

Yelp
(Yes I know the photo isn't the best) but this burger was absolutely amazing. At first I was hesitant to order a PB&J burger, but somehow they made it work so extremely well. The peanut butter and jelly complimented the burger and made it have that perfect sweet and savory combo with the peanut butter they used being super creamy. I would definitely come here with friends for great drinks and even better food! Everyone was super friendly and the staff made us laugh throughout the entire time, making us all feel like siblings honestly! Overall, it's a very "bro" restaurant.

Yelp
Delightfully, The Chef's Table is exactly as advertised: delicious, gourmet food in a casual unpretentious environment. It feels more like a nice sports bar, with elevated food. Service was casual but highly effective. We tried some apps and had two entrees, and everything was lovely: fresh, rich and flavorful. The avocado hummus was great and the grilled corn off-the-cob was my favorite thing overall. I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommend this spot for a casual, comfortable but impressive feast.

Yelp
5-star on service (the staff culture of this business is a 12 on a 10 scale) and 5-star food. There are already so many good reviews on Yelp for this business, but I spent my first visit here amazed. If you own a business and/or manage people come in see how optimal customer service looks. It's a really special moment at The Chef's Table - a "moment" that has survived ownership changes, a pandemic, and a bunch of other challenges that owner/operator Eric (say hi to him when you visit) has led his team through empowering them to make everyone feel special. As I sat here for dinner with the clock just passing their official closing time, a couple walked in and was received with "I'm so happy you are here! Let me get you a table" from my server Nick. Gracious, warm and engaging defined the entire staff. And the food! I had: Pesto fries Braised Short Rib Stroganoff Bread Pudding for dessert Old Fashioned All were ACES. Do yourself a favor- go to TCT and have one of the best meals you'll ever have. The. Go back again.

Yelp
i haven't written a 5 star review in what feels like months.. but the first one after a dry spell absolutely goes to the chef's table. where do i even begin? the service was a 12/10. when we first walked in, Quinton instantly greeted us and explained the wait times (honestly, so worth the wait). our servers Paul and Brahm were so friendly -- they made us feel like family! then don't get me started on the food.. because i'll just be upset the meal is over LOL. we started with the caprese; such fresh mozzarella and tomatoes with the perfect drizzle of balsamic reduction. we also got the pastrami reuben egg rolls, and wow, they had so much flavor packed inside. if i had to choose one last meal.. those egg rolls might be it. we then got our entrees and they were delicious *insert drool emoji*. the bacon brownie, yes, you read that correctly, just checked all the boxes for a delicious dessert. other positives -- there's tons of parking, which is always a plus. they also played such fun music. they also have an excellent menu; something for everyone. a wonderful dining experience overall, and i cannot wait for my next meal at the chef's table!

Yelp
We sat at the bar. Our service was great and attentive, drinks were flowing, and food was amazing! It seems like they have a lot of regulars. The staff knew their guests by first name basis. I can see why people keep returning! Note: -They change up their menu often -Somewhat of a small place and it seems like they try their best to accommodate bigger parties but probably best to call ahead and ask

Yelp
My fave local restaurant. Food and drinks are always superb. Ambiance is always light and fun.

Yelp
Wife and I wanted to try this place out for the very first time yesterday, Saturday. I called ahead of time to make reservations and unfortunately they don't take reservations! So we drove there and there was a 40-45 wait! There were at least 10 couples waiting to be seated. However there were several tables that were empty and the huge bar they had only had 5 people at the bar. When I asked the host if we can sit at the bar while we waited and he replied, "no those have been reserved and you'll have to get on the reservation list" and I was confused because I thought there was no reservations. So we walked out along with others! We went Bennetts restaurant down the street and they sat us down right away! I don't think we will ever The Chefs Table. Any place that is perfectly OK with turning customers away is not something I want to recommend! There are plenty of restaurants in the area!

Yelp
Absolutely FANTASTIC! I was shocked to find it so busy, but everything smelled so good, and the wait staff was so efficient and pleasant, despite the crowd, that we decided to wait the 30 to 45 minutes estimated. It took almost exactly that, but that gave us time to try a couple of their specialty drinks, meet some new people, and decide on our menu selections. The food was excellent, with each dish prepared in a novel way, and presented with pride. We were also very impressed by the restaurant's background. According to our excellent server, Brian, the very patriotic decor that we asked about resulted from a group of owners and staff that wants to show their appreciation of uniformed services personnel and first responders. That made us feel even more at home, and paired beautifully with our super meal! As you read the reviews, please note that the vast majority of reviews lower than the perfect five deserved are NOT about the food or service. They are silly reviews from inexperienced diners complaining about things that you should EXPECT to result from an excellent reputation, fine food and efficient service, like prices, wait times and crowding. Tough cookies! Those are relatively minor issues, and dinner at The Chef's Table justifies ignoring them!

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! They are pretty busy so don't show up when your hangry cuz there is a little bit of a wait (also no reservations). The staff is so friend and professional. They make excellent cocktails too! 10 outta 10 would go again

Yelp
Food is so good! First time here and we loved everything we ordered. We had the Beet Salad, scallops and braised beef. Service is excellent. Very fast and very friendly staff. Ambience - dark and cozy. Small spot but we got a table right away on a Friday evening.

Yelp
We had amazing service with great food. The drinks were fabulous too. The restaurant even sang happy birthday to my daughter which made her day. Thank you Chef's Family! We love you all

Yelp
Always the best, atmosphere, staff, food, music, we love everything about this place. It is our regular date night spot, the guys are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Wait is usually long, but completely worth it. Just a heads up: the bar isn't open seating, all seats are wait list only.

Yelp
Menu changes slightly due to local availability of ingredients (my thoughts in looking at recent history of menus) Food - top notch, top quality, and flavor. Ala carte, so a $21 burger is just the burger. But, oh, what a burger.... Burger, with fig jam, was the best burger I have ever had. Rib meat, brisket, chuck roast ground 'burger' meat was the most flavor ever experienced in ground hamburger meat. Like right off the farm, fresh, flavorful, melt in your mouth likely 1/3 to 1/2 pound. Topped with a subtle sweet bacon fig jam, smooth triple cream Brie, mustard aoli, and crisp arugula. All on a whole grain bun with one half of a giant pickle on top of the bun, then stabbed through the heart with a large steak knife. A meal when paired with a starter for the table of $10 beer-battered crispy pesto fries and angel hair swiss cheese. Not soggy like most garlic or pesto fries due to the care in assembly and fresh ingredients, not some store bought wet pesto. Yep, this burger and fries deserved the time to write this. Local sourced Beet salad, $17. A nice light meal for the vegetarian in your party, but I want this next time. Red beets, fresh and flavorful. As was the arugula, golden beets, chioggia beets, asian pears, etc. A couple of bites convinced me this is a must try someday. Very pretty dish, great presentation. Southern fried Mary's chicken breast with bone in leg. $27. Baby (true babies) carrots on the bottom, next comes mashed potatoes, then the chicken and bacon gravy lightly topping off the top. Bar $8 craft beers are all good, ciders too. Fabulous mixed drinks about $14 are well presented just like the food. Staff - top notch casual, too casual if you ask me at these prices. I go to BBQ's better dressed. I can't think of anywhere so casually dressed. Not even Taco Bell. Otherwise, as stated, top notch. Ambiance - American bar restaurant, strip mall, clean but basic bathrooms, 2, gender neutral). No decorations, nothing unique, nothing fancy. Very bust at 1700 on a Friday evening, 45 minute wait, no place to sit (small bar was full), outside sidewalk (no place to sit) was typical swarms of mosquitos due to all the rains. Inside was wall to wall people, glad flu season has wound down.... Overall way above average food, high price, in a too casual atmosphere. Will go again for next years birthdays or special occasion. I have to try that beet salad.... Food 5 star, minus 1 star for ambiance. You have to try this place at least once.

Yelp
The food is consistently delicious! There often can be a bit of a wait but they let you order a drink while you wait which makes it much more tolerable. One of our favorite places for date night ! The asparagus starter, fried chicken plate, and espresso martini are my go to's here! My husband enjoys the PB&J burger that's on their secret not so secret menu!

Yelp
We had a few hours to kill before our Allen Stone concert at the Quarry, decided to stop by after checking the reviews. This is one of those places where you can feel the passion from the staff, the service was spot on, multiple fellas stop to check on us through our dining experience. We decide to try to burger with peaches with pesto fries, recommend by the staff. Everything was on point. Burger was moist, tender and the peaches changed the way I'll eat my burgers. Places was standing room only, line of 10 plus waiting. Again, the staff engaging in conversation while making sure food is to the expected standard was nice and definitely different. Keep up the great work all. See ya'll soon. PS, the quarry venue was nice, Allen Stone, rocked the house. Must see show and artist.

Yelp
Frustrating you can't make reservations but there's always a wait. With a sitter or time crunch it doesn't make it an option

Yelp
This is our all-time favorite restaurant! Every single dish on the menu is completely thought out and perfectly executed. The unique flavors paired with the gorgeous presentations make this a real treat to remember. The atmosphere is lively and has a very classy feel. The staff members are all incredibly knowledgeable about their menu and always make great recommendations. A few of our favorites are the pesto fries, pastrami Reuben egg rolls, lamb shank, and Korean-style braised beef short ribs! The cocktails are beautiful and delicious as well! Try the Blueberry Haole!

Yelp
The food was very good and presentation was lovely, the service was great. It seems they have lost that air of sophistication they used to have. There were take out and service items stacked haphazardly on the end of the bar and TVs blaring. While the food is as good as it ever was I felt like I was in a neighborhood sports bar. I am giving it 4 stars for the food and service but keeping back 1 star for atmosphere.

Yelp
We got to the Chef's Table between 4:45 and 5:00 pm, and the place was buzzing with activity, however, finding parking was a breeze. As we entered, we were greeted by a crowd of waiting patrons and a lively atmosphere, amplified by the bar's proximity to the entrance. The wait time was surprisingly short, around 5 to 10 minutes at most. We were greeted and seated by someone who seemed to be the manager -- we couldn't be 100% certain, however, his exceptional kindness throughout our visit greatly enhanced our experience. As we continued our journey, the next person we met was Paul. He greeted us at our table and promptly took our drink orders. Paul offered an apology for the wait time right away, which, although unnecessary, was a considerate touch that we appreciated, particularly as the wait turned out to be quite brief. Before taking our order, Paul was very engaging; we discussed a variety of topics, which made us feel relaxed and like we were his sole priority, akin to being VIPs for the moment. Ultimately, my wife and I settled on the same cocktail, the Blueberry Haole, which was immensely tasty! Then Quentin (or Quintin, I'm not certain of the spelling) came to our table and took our order for food. My wife chose the Beet Salad, and I was torn between the Shrimp and Grits or the Southern Fried Mary's Chicken. After seeking Quentin's expert advice, I ultimately decided on the Shrimp and Grits. We received and savored our flavorful meals. My wife adores beet salads, and this occasion was no exception. The Shrimp and Grits had a taste reminiscent of my homemade version, and it was delightful. However, if you're cautious about greasy food, be aware that the broth in the Shrimp and Grits seems to be derived from the short rib gravy, but its flavor is so compelling that you might overlook its slight oiliness. Paul came back to take our order for the final course: dessert. Once again, we struggled to make a choice. Paul, emphasizing that he wasn't pushing for a sale, suggested the "Cornbread Strawberry Short Cake." We gladly accepted his recommendation, and we were delighted with our decision. My wife and I agreed that this was probably the best Short Cake we ever had, prompting me to want to try and duplicate this at home at some point. This was our third visit to the Chef's Table, and although our visits are infrequent, this experience ensures that we will definitely be returning much sooner. The Chef's Table is a strong supporter of law enforcement, adding to their appeal. If you find yourself in the Rocklin area, be sure to give them a try if you haven't yet.

Yelp
First off our waiter Johnny was fantastic!!! Everything we ordered was five star. I ordered the pb&j burger and it was the best burger I have ever had, the bun was soft and perfectly toasted, the meat was fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had the French dip, it was again on a fresh roll layered with perfectly cooked prime rib with the right amount of blue cheese, onions and horseradish cream, it was the best French dip we have ever had. Let's not forget our appetizer and drinks...the almond hummus stuffed avocado is fantastic and my whiskey sour definitely made me happy!! My husband had iced tea and even the tea was excellent. Everything about this place from the service to the food is top notch. We will gladly be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
I will admit, I was skeptical about the food at first.. if there's any advice I would give about coming here -- run! Don't walk. The food was spectacular. I was impressed from the first bite. The peso fries came out first. And this is a definite must have. Fries were crispy, and doused in a pesto seasoning topped with cheese. Who doesn't love cheese?! Literally licked my fingers as to no waste the flavor by wiping it on a napkin. The risotto was also made very well. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. And they certainly didn't skimp out on the portion size. My overall favorite would have the be the steak bites. For about $5/pc they better be an amazing bite. And that they were. The complexities of all the flavors was *chefs kiss* the tamaato, grilled lemon, and garlic. I'm already drooling just thinking about it. 1000% must have
