The Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel

This boutique hotel is wonderful! The staff are attentive and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. The apartments are immaculate, kudos to the cleaning team. We ordered breakfast to be served in our room and it was well presented and delicious. I stayed in a few hotels in Thailand and this was my absolute favourite. The location is not walkable but that didn’t bother us, the hotel provided a car into town and the night market or we sometimes used the Bolt App. Would stay here again.

My partner and I spent one night at the Riverside. Kwan, who seemed to be everywhere all at once whenever you needed her! provided excellent service. The staff were very helpful in planning our activities, including transfer to sister hotel for massage and onwards to airport. The room itself is spotlessly clean, large, spacious and a comfy bed. Breakfast is ordered on arrival for the next day, all which can be ordered for room service. The staff all speak great English.

This 16 suite hotel was probably the best value for money hotel that I have ever stayed in.|There were 4 of us staying in a 115 sqm suite with 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchenette, a living room and a balcony.|Service from the staff was very attentive.|Breakfast could be ordered the day before from an ala carte menu, with no limit on the items just the quantities. It was served punctually to the suite and nicely laid out on the dining table.|It was a luxury and a time saver. There was no need to leave our suite to go to a restaurant. The only set back was because all items had to be ready before being brought to the suite, they were a bit cold, especially the hot drinks. Perhaps some solution can be found for this. For us, it was a small price to pay for the convenience.|One issue that we had in both bathrooms was the water temperature. It simply could not keep steady.

Perfect for a family stay, great apartments with good facilities. The kitchen made meal time fun as kids were tied of eating out 3 times a day. The kids loved the pool, the water was perfect and the two levels made it fun. It is so quiet and peaceful, albeit a little out of the way. Staff was super friendly.

Experience at Chiang Mai Riverside I stayed at the Chiang Mai Riverside hotel, which claimed to be 5-star but didn't feel like it. Here's what went wrong No buffet breakfast, I had to ask them to prepare breakfast, but they said I needed to inform them a day in advance. Inconsistent service. When I asked for breakfast for next day prep, they said the kitchen was closed and they were preparing dinner for clients. Dirty pool The swimming pool was not clean due to leaves. Extra charges They charged a lot for drinks from the fridge, so it's better to bring your own. Location, It's far from the city center, and taxis are expensive and time-consuming. River side which is a dirty brown water in the river Not Recommended This hotel is only good for those who want to burn their money. The rooms aren't soundproof, and the noise from outside was disturbing. I wouldn't call it a 5-star hotel at all. Maybe it's better for those who want a quiet, photo-friendly spot, but overall, I'd say it's not worth the price.

This hotel is truly the best choice for your stay! The staff is incredibly welcoming and provides top-notch service, while the cleanliness is impeccable 100% on both. Although the hotel is about 3-4 km from the market, transportation is very affordable with Tuk Tuk and Grab. If we ever return, this will undoubtedly be our first choice. The rooms are well-equipped with a dining table, gas stove, and a TV loaded with applications, plus complimentary water bottles. The view from the room is fantastic, adding to the overall experience. The hotel perfectly blends luxury and boutique-style interiors, making for a comfortable and stylish stay. In my opinion if you book your stay here, and you’ll absolutely love it!

The hotel wasn’t large but 10 out of 10 in all aspects! I booked a package on their website and it was of really good value. I got airport transfers and massage at their old town branch (they drove us there) also vouchers for food. I ordered dinner from Malao Malao, they were reasonably priced, very tasty and flavourful. Breakfast was just as awesome! Check-in was very smooth and their staffs were all very attentive- provided friendly and very warm services, arranged everything perfectly for me. The room itself was very spacious, very clean. View is good too- you can see the river, and possibly a little sunrise. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was impeccable! It is a bit of a car ride from main attractions, but this area is probably just better- very quiet and safe, peaceful.

Lovely, quiet hotel just outside of town. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and really nice. The restaurant has great food and is really accommodating for special dietary needs. A boutique experience with easy pool lounger access and fantastic breakfast cooked to order. Felt very safe. 7/11 across the road so very handy. Highly recommend.
