The chocolate museum is worth visiting while in Porto, it is in fact in my opinion a must do. The journey that takes you through is fantastic, getting to know everything you need to know about chocolate -and more! What really impressed me was the chocolate tastings you get while you’re there, the staff is amazing and the gift shop is fantastic too.

For such an interesting subject and a stiff ticket price, the experience at the museum felt a bit flat. There was so little interaction except a little bit at the end, and so little demonstration as well. I don’t mind text- heavy museums if the texts were interesting, but all information in display are nothing more intriguing than a wikipedia page. Staffs were friendly.

This is one of coolest museum I've ever visited! The exposition, infographics, design, the way of giving information - all are super interesting and perfectly made. I really enjoyed reading different facts which is not long and not boring (as generally museums have). The chocolate gifts and try chocolate spots are extra enjoy! I want to express my delight to creators for a great job they did! I highly recommend visiting it. Sadly I didn't see any recommendations about this museum in any Porto must-see lists. I found it occasionally while walking. It's absolutely worth!

Very interesting and educational experience about everything chocolate: from its discovery to the harvesting and processing, world production and consumption, its different qualities around the world and how to read chocolate labels. There's a little chocolate factory inside of the museum, and you can taste the cocoa nib as well. The visit ends at the chocolate store, and then at a coffee shop, with the best hot chocolate ever!! (melted real chocolate with whipping cream, marshmallows and milk) highly recommended!! You can buy tickets online or in person. Watch for deals if you're coming in a group or family. No lockers available.

My mother & I did not spend a lot of time in the museum, but we did book a chocolate and port wine tasting workshop. IT WAS GREAT!!! Fabia led the workshop in a private part of the museum. She was enthusiastic, kind, knowledgable, and a joy to spend the workshop with. The chocolate and wine was delicious. We learned a lot and had even more fun.

The chocolate story was an absolutely amazing experience! It was like stepping into a world of cocoa dreams. Learning about the chocolate-making process, indulging in exquisite tastings, and discovering the rich history behind this delectable treat left me in awe. It's a sweet journey every chocolate enthusiast should embark upon.

Disappointing. Very weak.. not very informative; not many options for test & trial; interesting to try the bean itself; maintenance not uptodate.. many things are already damaged & many things are out of order etc; overpriced for what it is.. if uv never seen a choc museum: ull be fine; if you‘ve seen some around thr world & switzerland: youll be disappointed :) Choc quality itself: not good at all.
