The City of Lougheed

Stopped by for a quick shoot on a weekday afternoon a couple weeks ago and ended up staying way longer than planned. The natural light coming through the atrium near the food court made for some great shots, honestly better than I expected from a mall. Parking underneath was easy to find even on a busier day, which made hauling my gear around a lot less annoying. Staff at a couple of the shops were friendly enough to let me snap a few extra frames without giving me weird looks, which I always appreciate.

FIVE STARS***** YES I KOVE THIS PLACE Great location right in on the border of Burnaby and Coquitlam Android close to public transit lots of options for driving parking nearby and on site. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrances. Washrooms also wheelchair accessible. This is not a very large mall but it is packed with stores restaurants and everything you could need. It gets busy but never feels too busy which is great. There's lots of staff maintenance security and customer service the mall hours could be better but it's still my favorite place to go when I'm in this part of town.

This is the good location for shopping for all basic need. There are London Drugs, Walmart, Kins Farm Market, Cobs Bread, Oomomo Store, Coles Book store and many more. They set up more seats in the mall now. It's too bad for me since the Oomomo was closed. I think this shop is a very good one for house hold supplies. So I need to go to the one in Richmond. There are more shops for kids or teenagers are open. The play area is open again. Please check it out. The New Food Court is roomy and bright for a meal or just have a tea after the busy shopping. Many new restaurants in this food court. You will always find good seats there. But also some chain restaurants are still there, come to try some new multi-culture food. There are a indoor playground for the kids. Kids will love it. The parking is all around the mall. If you don't drive, there are a covered walkway from the Lougheed Town Centre Station leads you to the mall. There are also a temporary Carmeron Community Centre and Library in the lower level. It's really a good location for the residents.

Lougheed Town Centre is a fantastic shopping destination that offers a great mix of retail, dining, and entertainment options. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, making it a pleasant experience for shoppers of all ages. Pros: Variety of Stores: From popular fashion brands to unique specialty shops, there's something for everyone. It's a great place to find both everyday items and special gifts. Dining Options: The food court is diverse, featuring a range of cuisines that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for fast food or a sit-down meal, you’ll find plenty of choices. Accessibility: The centre is well-connected by public transport, and there’s ample parking available, which makes visiting convenient. Family-Friendly: There are plenty of amenities for families, including play areas for kids and stroller accessibility, making it a comfortable outing for parents. Cons: Crowds: During peak hours, the centre can get quite busy, which might detract from the shopping experience. Limited High-End Stores: While there are many popular brands, those looking for luxury shopping may find the selection lacking. Overall, Lougheed Town Centre is a vibrant shopping hub that caters to a wide audience. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy a day of shopping and dining!
