The Clan Hotel Singapore

We stayed 9 nights at the Clan during our trip to Singapore and had an amazing time. The hotel’s location is great, you’re within walking distance of the waterfront and MBS, Downtown and Chinatown. The Telok Ayer MRT is 1 min away and accessible by an elevator at the rear of the property.||As for the property itself, the hotel is very clean, the cleaning staff were very detailed, and our room was immaculate when we would return each evening. The room had a Japanese style toilet, rainfall shower, large TV, and comfortable bedding.||The staff were great and very helpful lduring our trip. I would like to specifically appreciate concierge staff Wilson. His willingness to help us with things to do and sights to explore, including helping us find a durian vendor, went above and beyond and truly made our visit to Singapore even more special. Beyond that his positive energy and demeanour each and every morning made us feel welcomed and made our trip that much more special.||If you’re considering a trip to Singapore, and can fit it in your budget, I would definitely recommend the Clan as the place to stay during your trip.

Like others have said, it's good but not 5 star hotel quality. Room/bathroom felt cramped (bad layout), pool is tiny but worst of all, 2 out of the 3 hotel front desk staff I spoke to didn't give the warmth of the other 5 star hotels I've stayed at in SG. This feels more like a 3 or 4 star hotel. Hotel entrance staff was nice. Electronic toilet was good. Overall not worth it.

The room was fine and the location was good but we were very disappointed by the service at this hotel. Having just come from Thailand where staff welcomed us warmly with welcome drinks we were left to stand at reception for 5 minutes before anyone even came to check us in at the Clan. The staff at breakfast were unfriendly and the breakfast itself not great - we went out of the hotel straight after for a “proper coffee”. Our room was directly under the gym and we were woken at 6am by a loud, constant thudding. The only saving graces were the concierge who was kind and friendly and the Dyson hair dryer.

One of the most accommodating and amazing hotel we've been to. The staff was amazing from the get-go and the room was incredibly plush. The pillow and bed has to be one of the best of any 5-stars hotel we've been too. Special thanks to Ivan and walking us through the tea ceremony, we got it at the end of our stay instead of the usual start because we were too busy running around exploring the amazing city.||We'll definitely be back

The Clan Hotel is, in my opinion, an underwhelming property that does not live up to its supposed five-star rating. The room sizes are small and feel quite cramped, and the interiors seem dated and not especially clean. Service levels fell short of what you’d expect from a luxury hotel, and felt closer to a three-star experience. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for a true five-star standard. There are much better options in Singapore at similar prices.

Our family of six went to Singapore. Thank you to the team for taking care and preparing 3 rooms on the 20th floor. We all had corner rooms and thanks to them an amazing view (recommended). Breakfasts are good, especially Asian specials unusual for Europeans, but we dried them all out 👌. Pool and jacuzzi until midnight amazing after walking around the city 30th floor and night Singapore 👍. Strategic location and MRT under the hotel allows you to be everywhere in a few minutes. Near the river where there are many bars and restaurants. Thank you, we are in your Clan!!!

Overall, the hotel services were excellent. I still remember Wilson's warm smile and his helpfulness during my stay. I also greatly appreciated Ivan's attentive service.||Although I was granted a complimentary late check-out until 3 PM, I had an urgent appointment in the morning and needed to store my luggage with the concierge. Upon my return to the hotel, Ivan was quick to assist me, guiding me to another seating area where I could prepare myself. He even helped me find a taxi back to the hotel.||Thank you for the outstanding service!||Except noisy air conditioning system system even I run the lowest level …

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The rooms were spacious and modern, with a luxurious Japanese-style toilet. The pool staying open until midnight was perfect after a long day. Breakfast was delicious and fairly priced, and the staff were all incredibly friendly. Fantastic location—right in Chinatown, near attractions and just across from the MRT. The hotel is beautifully designed. My only small suggestion would be to improve the gym—it could use more equipment. Still, this will absolutely be my first choice when I return to Singapore!
