The Clan Hotel Singapore

We had a wonderful stay at The Clan mainly due to its location, proximity to food/train, amenities and the views. We were initially unhappy that our room wasn't available when we were checking in at 4.30pm (our flight arrived earlier), but the staffs were apologetic and made up for it with their efficient service in all the days we stayed. Breakfast was moderate in its spread but with high-quality ingredients. Do your best to avoid the mad rush hours of 8.30-10.30 as you'll feel rushed through your meal. On our last day, we had breakfast at 6.30am and what a difference it made to the whole dining experience! Views in the room are fantastic -- we had the corner room. The amenities in the building and in the room are well thought out. The soap was heavenly. Overall a pleasant stay and will definitely book this place again.

Everything was great from the service to the amenities to the room itself and the location! I was able to check in early which was convenient. I had a deluxe room which was the perfect size (I traveled alone), and the view was lovely. I purchased the breakfast option and was able to get a patio seat every morning which was nice. Pretty good food. When choosing between hotels, the sky pool and sky gym sold me-the pool area is small so it's good to reserve a spot, but it's peaceful and quiet. The gym is small but well equipped. Both the pool and gym have amazing views that inspired me to take advantage. Lastly the location is perfect as it's right by a train station. Chinatown and other bars/restaurants are within walking distance. It's quiet and safe. 100% would book here again

Booked the hotel for only one night. Check in was quick and friendly! Room was amazing, clean and had any amenity you can imagine! The hotel is directly next to china town and the city center. Good place to start a tour through Singapore. The breakfast was okay, but there could be more choices, especially for international guests. I would recommend that hotel to anyone!

Nice and clean, at a very good location, just 5 minutes walk from Chinatown and Marina Bay area. Our room was spotless! The view we had was great, with all the skyscrapers around us. Personnel was very polite. The breakfast could have more options though, for instance maybe more variety in fruits and fresh juices. Special thanks to Mr. Ivan, he was very helpful and truly a pleasure to speak with!

Advantage:|1. Outstanding location, just the right distance to Chinatown, not too far or close just right.|2. The room was very comfortable and the room rate was reasonable. The bedding and pillows were fluffy.|3. The snacks in the room are all from UK, very delicate and delicious. Please ask the hotel staff to email me their brand after reading this, I forgot to take a picture of them. Also, the tea and coffee in the room were excellent.|4. the TV and bluetooth stereo in the room worked great and I rewatched Blade Runner 2049 on the HBO channel.||Cons:|1. check-in time was 3 pm instead of 2 pm. Travelers on red-eye flights should be especially aware of this as the hotel is very hot and it is difficult to check in early.

Take advantage of the welcome tea. Ivan was great explaining and welcoming. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are amazing and well worth the stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Free soft drinks in the mini bar and range of teas and coffees. Great shower and Japanese toilet. Amazing breakfast.

Prime location, modern hotel with traditional Chinese elements and sleek design. Located within walking distance to Chinatown, Marina Bay, Hawker Centres, and a train station. Our Premium room was a haven of modern luxury, with stylish finishings. The rooftop pool and gym are breathtaking, while the complimentary Chinese tea ceremony in the reception area is a thoughtful touch. Thanks to Tea Master Ivan for his warm welcome. We would stay here again for sure!

Best ever hotel, for me. Lots of generous details. A lovely tea ceremony just for us. Well, for you too. Roof pool. Best ever, for me. Ceiling waterfall hot shower, so nice. Quality umbrellas to borrow for a downpour, best ever. We walked across the street in that downpour to reach the subway, only to later discover there is a subway entrance in the hotel itself, around the corner within the same building. Best ever.
