The Clan Hotel Singapore

This hotel is good, but not great - and needs to improve to be considered five star. The rooms are nice and clean, and the location is good, very close to Lau Pa Sat hawker. Very nice high-end Toto toilets. We stayed two nights and were greeted once during our entire stay, and that was during the check-in. The valet/lobby staff ignore guests. The front entrance (which you need to enter and take an elevator up to reach the check-in desk) was closed and locked with no valet or lobby staff around and no one answering the phone to open the door at 7:30am - that’s not an odd hour at a hotel? I’m sorry but you cannot call yourself a five star hotel and not offer turndown service. We turned our service light on and left for the day by 2:00pm and came home to our room later in the evening having not been serviced at all. When I called down to request new towels and ask why (I had to call three times and no one answered - at a five star hotel? The front desk did call me back however), I was told we must have had our do not disturb light on in the morning when they tried to service the room and they don’t do second cleanings or turndown service. Why have a service light if you don’t monitor them? The shower became a bath and didn’t drain water correctly. If you’re looking for a clean four star hotel with a cool pool, this hotel is a great option. If you’re looking for an actual five star hotel, you are spoiled for choice in Singapore - I’d look elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the end of September and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Chinatown location was perfect for our needs, the corner room on the 19th floor was spacious, very well appointed and modern. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. A shout out to Wilson, our concierge, what a top guy! We highly recommend this great hotel. A perfect start to our holiday.

We especially loved the pool on the 30th floor — the view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more relaxing.||Another huge plus is the Downtown Line (DT Line) conveniently located just beneath the hotel, giving easy access to nearly all the must-visit sites in Singapore. It made exploring the city so effortless.||Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore!

Excellent hotel. Top choice. Very good location. Good shower and rooms spacious (for Singapore). Only criticism is the rooftop gym. Nice view but I’ll equipped with almost no free weights. Has to find another gym nearby. Otherwise top marks for the hotel. Recommended.

I stayed at The Clan Hotel for 3 nights and had an excellent experience. The service was consistently attentive and warm, and the location is truly prime—perfectly situated for exploring the city. The design of the hotel is modern yet welcoming, with thoughtful little touches that make the stay feel special. My room had a beautiful view, which made it even more enjoyable. The only downside was a faint smell in the washroom, which I suspect may have been due to a drainage issue. Overall, I would highly recommend The Clan Hotel for its outstanding service, design, and location. I would definitely stay again.

My room was immaculate, tastefully designed, and more spacious than expected, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and all the essentials for a restful stay. Thoughtful touches like high-quality linens and excellent in-room coffee added to the overall comfort.Despite being in such a central location, the hotel maintained a quiet, relaxing ambiance that made it easy to unwind at the end of the day. I left feeling well cared for and refreshed, and I’m already looking forward to returning. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of convenience, comfort, and outstanding service.

We arrived super early in the morning, absolutely washed out from our long haul flight from England. The reception staff worked extremely hard to give us life support and got us into our room earlier than schedule. A big thank you from both of us. All the crew were extremely polite and helpful, nothing was a problem. The breakfast's are amazing, a wide selection to suit everybody's appetite. Room was great, although the aircon was a little noisy. Tough call to turn it off, but we needed to get some sleep.|Most Cab drivers know the place and had no trouble getting back from various locations around Singapore.|Again, a big thank you to everyone.|Cheers|Rodney & Lynne
