"Aura: The Vodka Bar There are some bars that get lost in the crush, while others make a lasting impression. Headed straight into the latter, Aura, a luxury bar in the 5-star Claridges Hotel, specializes in a wide array of vodkas, with more than 60 different rare vodkas from around the world to choose from. It’s one of the oldest bars in Delhi, dating back to the time when the nightlife was exclusive to upscale hotels. The place isn’t very large, so it makes for a cozy atmosphere. If you’re a vodka aficionado, you won’t want to miss this place. And if you’re not, you may just want to go to see the impressive range of vodkas. Full-course meals is not the house specialty, so you can expect to only find appetizers and small snacks to accompany the coveted spirits. Call ahead for various events such as bartending lessons and vodka tastings."

"As the name might imply, classic British-style elegance is the order of the day at Claridges New Delhi. Some of its best features haven’t changed much since the hotel opened its doors in 1952, like the manicured lawns dotted with gazebos, the large freeform swimming pool encircled in glamorous white cabanas, and the charmingly old-fashioned bakery, specializing in chocolate cake. Guest rooms have been updated, of course, and feature gleaming parquet floors, marble bathrooms, and handsome four-poster beds. A range of restaurants and bars cater to every taste: there’s casual Punjabi cuisine at one, Cantonese dishes at another, and an extensive vodka menu and nightly jazz at the hotel bar. But the standout may be Spanish food served by candlelight at open-air tables overlooking the immaculately tended grounds." - Tablet Hotels

We had come for a buffet lunch to the Lutyens in The Claridges. The food overall was very good. We tried multiple cuisines and enjoyed almost everything. Including the gol gappa’s. ||Apart from that, the service was even more impressive. All the staff including the chef Mr. Deepak Joshi, were very warm and welcoming and made our afternoon fairly enjoyable.

The one aand only issue was that I ahd asked for my stay points to eb creditied to my Tata Neu account. But it did not happen. I am not sure if it wwas credited to I prefer. I was asked which one I prefer and I specifically said Tata Neu. Other than that a great experince.

My recent stay at The Claridges, New Delhi was a memorable experience of colonial charm and modern comfort. Set in a tranquil corner of Lutyens’ Delhi, the hotel’s lush gardens and proximity to major attractions like India Gate make it an ideal location. The dining options offered by the multiple in-house restaurants—from Thai to Mediterranean—were delightful, with Sevilla and Jade particularly standing out. ||The consistently courteous staff and timeless ambiance make The Claridges worth the splurge.

Great hotel in one of the best places in Delhi. The service is incredible, the room was excellent and the staff is fully commited to make you feel at home. The variety and quality of the restaurants is incredible and gives you the opportunity to experience trully fine dining without having to leave the hotel. The Claridges is my new favorite hotel of Delhi and I will be coming back many times in the future.

We stayed in this beautiful property for 5 nights and 6th days . From 7th to 12th july . What a beautiful property. Loved the decorations and flowers setup which changes every 2 to 3 days . Staff are courteous and well trained . Highlights : Our second time in this property and we were recognized and welcomed back . It’s was our Anniversary celebration and the staff had handwritten card with cake and beautiful flowers in our room which caught us with pleasant surprise. Breakfast is amazing , only thing which I did not like , I was denied coconut water when asked for. Did not expect a 5 star property with premium price to say they do not have coconut water . Visited the spa and the lady assisting was lovely , she accompanied me with all my stuff back to my room . Bidya at the reception was lovely . Forgetting some more names, the lovely guy with spectacles who recognized and welcomed back my husband and me and took us to our room ,he even assisted me to the car with luggage when I checked out . Would definitely come back .

For years have been thinking of staying at the Claridge's, but somehow did not as my work is nearer to South Delhi.||Finally stayed this time and realized what have been missing.||It's a fine luxury hotel and the staff ensures to look after their guests.||Special mention & gratitude for Miss Aso at the Reception. ||The ROOM was very comfortable and the BREAKFAST top notch.||A small suggestion, that amount of Towels provided should be reduced, especially the Bath Towels (huge in size). ||Thank you Claridge's & The Taj. Looking forward to staying with you again.
