"As the name might imply, classic British-style elegance is the order of the day at Claridges New Delhi. Some of its best features haven’t changed much since the hotel opened its doors in 1952, like the manicured lawns dotted with gazebos, the large freeform swimming pool encircled in glamorous white cabanas, and the charmingly old-fashioned bakery, specializing in chocolate cake. Guest rooms have been updated, of course, and feature gleaming parquet floors, marble bathrooms, and handsome four-poster beds. A range of restaurants and bars cater to every taste: there’s casual Punjabi cuisine at one, Cantonese dishes at another, and an extensive vodka menu and nightly jazz at the hotel bar. Easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. An exceptionally beautiful and well appointed hotel from the common areas to the sumptuous rooms. Extremely helpful staff at every level. PeiMei in the Jade Chinese restaurant was incredibly good and made our dining experience very memorable. Staff at breakfast were super friendly and chatted with us, sharing their knowledge of the area and India in general. Every facility in the hotel was brilliant. It’s well situated, close to all the monuments and city centre. We’ll definitely be back.

We recently spent 5 nights at the Claridges in Delhi and we found everything from the guest services, to the room and the restaurants to be amongst the finest we have experienced in any of our travels. The stay easily exceeded our best expectations. We encountered an unforeseen disruption to our travel plans during our stay but with the excellent assistance of Mr. Pardeep Singh Bhooi and the entire front desk staff we were able to access all the assistance needed to keep our trip on schedule. I cannot recommend the Claridges highly enough with a simple 5 star rating.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Claridges New Delhi. They took fantastic care of our group. The spa service was excellent, the facilities were great and I can't say enough about how fantastic the staff was. An especially big shout out to Ahasan Ali and the housekeeping team. We have never seen so many creative towel creations.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. Comfortable, well appointed room, pleasant and attentive staff and a variety of restaurants to choose from. A special mention for Bharat in the Dhaba restaurant for making our dining experience so pleasurable.

Lovely welcome and complimentary tea/coffee and cake while we waited for our room to be prepared (we arrived at 11am). Staff couldn't do enough for you.|our room was perfect, spacious and had everything you could ever need.|The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Many dishes cooked to order.||In the evening we ate in Erawaan and Dhaba and thoroughly enjoyed these.||We walked to Lodi Gardens and the Gandhi museum and felt safe doing so.||Outside the hotel it is quiet compared to the noise and craziness of the rest of Delhi.

I stayed in room 18 at the Claridges. A very posh pace indeed. Marble everywhere. Close to the Habitat center where I had a meeting. A few points 1. There was a drilling sound in the evening and at 4 am. It disturbed my sleep. The solid stone conducts noise well. Not sure of the source. 2. Careful in the location, in case you use google maps it may take you to the bus stand named after the hotel itself. 3. Breakfast was very nice, but surprisingly they did not have decaf tea (the attendant brought be decaf coffee). I decided to take herbal tea but it was not the same. Ironically, a week prior I stayed at a B&B at 1/10 the price and enjoyed the experience a lot more. My sincere suggestion is to focus on the fundamentals - a good night sleep.

We loved our stay! The staff was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. It was well located and very clean. We loved Krish, who kept our room incredibly clean and even left us towel art in the evenings after turn-down service. Thank you!

I was really disappointed with Claridges in Delhi. The room was outdated, twin beds stuck together like a double bed which should have been apart. |Staff in the restaurant had no clue what they were doing. The positive was staff in the reception and concierge gave exceptional service, so polite, smiley and went out of their way to help you. Rajesh was extremely helpful with my bags and helped my Dad. |The salon was really good too, very professional and did a great blow dry.|However based on the price and the quality of the room and service in the restaurant and quality of food would think twice before going again.
