When we arrived the reception manager was wonderful and walked us to our room. The room was great, no issues there. Our issue is with the Blue Bar at the hotel. They flat out refused us service because we didn’t have a reservation nor did we want to order food. The reception manager invited us to the bar for an evening of 70’s-90’s music with a DJ. We thought that sounded great and when we arrived to the bar, the bar manager informed us that since we didn’t have the reservation nor did we want food right then, that we would have to sit in the lobby if we wanted rinks. The bar was completely empty while this was going on. I think the “Blue Bar” caters only to locals and could care less about hotel guests. That was strange and very uncomfortable. Or she just didn’t like us. I was even dressed up so it wasn’t our appearance.

The check in was wonderful and we were escorted to our room. The reception manager was very nice and informed us that the "Blue Bar" would have 70-s-90's music DJ that night around 20:30, and that she would be there. We decided that that would be a great idea and went to the bar at 20:00, where we were informed by the bar manager that since we weren't eating or had a reservation, that we would have to have drinks outside of the bar in the "library" or lobby. I countered that we were hotel guests and she didn't care. That was a very uncomfortable experience.I go back for business in April and will not stay at this hotel, due to the unprofessionalism of the bar manager. The "Blue bar" not being accessible to hotel guwests is false advertising, since it seems to cater to locals and not hotel guests.

The reception did not know about the breakfast at room. The architecture is terrible with too many stairs without lift. I would not recommend it. The photo is offered as breakfast. The waiter was ok but not at all trained.

I stayed at the hotel during a conference at Frederick University in Nicosia. The room was not spacious but sufficient and clean. Staff provided excellent service at any time and was friendly and helpful. The small but very convenient gym on the top floor with a nice view is an extra asset. The great location close to resp. in the Old Town is a great plus as all central venues were in a kind of walking distance. Even the university was just a 40 min walk or <10min taxi ride away.

A very nice hotel in the heart of the city. Has many amenities, near public parking and the old town Very friendly and helpful staff, we forgot a charger and they sent it to us the next day. Thank you! Great breakfast with local products. The room has everything you need, could improve in the use of one use products and become more sustainable

Really lovely town hotel. Rooms sparkling clean and efficient air-conditioning which you need in Nicosia. Breakfast is varied and nicely presented. Perfect location for exploring the old town - I am not keen on the look and feel of the new town. Rated three stars for service because every time I visit there is an issue getting the key card for the room to work.

Great location in spite of being across the road from the fire station. Very clean and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning which was essential as it was 40 degrees outside even at 5 pm. |Downside was the en-suite bathroom. There was a step to enter, very small area at the sink then two high steps to get up to the toilet and shower. Very difficult to access the shower in the bath as there’s a swinging glass door to negotiate. Can’t understand why any interior designer or architect could think this is a good idea! My husband fell down the steps when he got out of the shower but luckily recovered himself and isn’t injured. |The full length window overlooking the main road has no privacy curtains. So you’re open to the firemen looking in, or in the dark! |

We stayed at the hotel for a conference and have only good things to report: helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, and a good breakfast. The location is also convenient. Recommended.
