My service at Cliff Spa was great. The woman who did my spa service was very kind. The problem was with the rest of the spa and staff. One of their employees left a really inappropriate message on my phone. I have included the screenshot with the message that shows the spas phone number. It left me really unsettled and made it so I wasn’t looking forward to my service. It felt like the opposite of relaxing and incredibly unprofessional and a bit scary. When we arrived at the spa there was a sign saying the hot tub was out of service for the next couple of days. This was also frustrating because that was the main reason we booked the service with our whole group. If they had told me when I confirmed my booking the previous day, I would have changed my plans, so I guess it was smart on their part. The spa was also a bit messy and there wasn’t anyone cleaning the areas. Overall Cliff Spa is beautiful but the service leave a lot to be desired. So sad.

I found the Cliff Spa on things to do in Utah and the photos and videos do it no justice. From the inviting staff and atmosphere everything was perfect. I arrived at 6am and spent the entire day there. I loved the views from the different areas within the spa and they were simply breathtaking. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and was willing to assist me. I loved that I was greeted on arrival. The outdoor pool and hot tub was just the right temperature. I would suggest going early in the morning to beat the crowds as I had the entire rooftop to myself from 6am-8am. The locker rooms were very clean and maintained and there were plenty of towels available. I value customer service and I would rate the service 10/10. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing day!

The Cliff Spa, which is located inside the the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, is a relaxing getaway buried in the middle of the mountains. Parking here is fine during the summer, but winter can get crazy since the chair lifts are close by for skiing the mountain. When you get inside, you take the elevator up and check in (reservations are recommended). If you want to do a class, make sure you sign up at least 2 hours ahead of time or you can't get in. Prices here are a bit steep for what you get - including a pool and hot tub on the rooftop, a gym, yoga studio (classes only), a sauna and a few private rooms. The place is a bit outdated and they've recently removed some basics they used to have in the locker rooms, including being down to 1 hair dryer in the women's room. Staff were scarce, especially on the top level. The steam room was very bright and the scent was overwhelming, like it was masking another scent. Some things need to be updated here, like the heaters, paint (that's chipping) and some other cosmetic things that should make it feel more relaxing. Cold towels and cucumbers weren't there anymore either outside the steam room. They have a good amount of tea available, with the only machine for water being at the stairs. Overall, I can see the allure for people using the mountain but there's quite a bit needing attention for the price you pay and the distance you travel to get here.

I was REALLY looking forward to my massage. I had been moving so I was super sore and stressed so a massage seemed like the perfect remedy for my dysregulated nervous system! So as you can imagine how disappointed I was to have one of the very worst massages ever. The guy truly had know idea what he was doing. I almost felt bad for him. Needless to say, I was even more stressed after my massage. Certainly I was not expecting this poor quality from such a nice resort spa. I would not recommend a massage here.

I visited the Cliff Spa for a Bachelorette weekend and booked a massage with Benjamin Bowen: it was absolutely incredible. From the moment he greeted me, Ben was warm, professional, and attentive to what my body needed. He checked in about pressure and focused on the tight areas I mentioned, blending relaxation with real therapeutic work. His knowledge and technique were really amazing. I left feeling loose, calm, and completely renewed: honestly the highlight of the trip. If you’re visiting the Cliff Spa, aside from all of their really nice amenities, please do yourself a favor and request Benjamin. You will not regret it!

Google
The spa was absolutely beautiful — very peaceful, clean, and it smelled amazing the moment we walked in! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff were all kind and welcoming. My partner got a wonderful massage and really enjoyed the experience. I decided not to get one, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to use that credit toward anything else or get a refund, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, it’s a gorgeous spa and such a serene place to unwind!

Google
I've been in the service industry for over 10 years and own and operate a Spa in salt lake, so I have high expectations when it comes to customer service and hospitality. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at the Cliff Spa have been very disappointing. The professionalism at the front desk was lacking, and the customer service did not meet the standards I anticipated for such a “premium” spa. My husband and I booked massages and, quite frankly, felt that the $600 charge was not justified given the level of service we received. In an industry where top-tier pricing is expected, the quality of customer care should reflect that. It seems there are significant improvements needed in management and staff training, as I would never allow my team to deliver such a horrible experience. Customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business, and I hope the spa takes these concerns seriously for future guests.

Google
Highly recommend a massage with Emma R.! I've been dealing with some tension in my shoulders and back for a while, and I left feeling like I had a whole new body! Definitely the best massage I've had. I appreciated how attentive Emma was -- she asked about my needs beforehand and I could tell she truly customized my experience based on that. Of course, the Cliff's pool/hot tub is a major bonus, and the facility as a whole is clean, nice and relaxing.

Yelp
All well-seasoned Utahns know about the notorious Cliff Spa. Located on the 9th floor of Snowbird's Cliff Resort, it offers pristine mountain views, suitable for a relaxing getaway year round. Can't afford a service? No problem, you can purchase a day pass that allows access to their rooftop pool and hot tub, locker rooms with saunas, and a rejuvenating steam room. It's the perfect escape from the city either solo or with a companion. The staff is smiley and helpful, yet respectful of the zen-nature of the space and not overbearing. They offer you robes and sandals to make your experience top notch, and the facility as a whole is very clean. We wandered downstairs in our robes to the Atrium to get hot chocolate, and got to explore other parts of the hotel at our leisure. I've gotten a massage here before and it was amazing, but I will warn that their services are a bit pricey.

Yelp
My friends and I recently visited Park City for a bachelorette trip and booked day passes/massages here. this property is stunning and the customer service was good but overall the spa experience was very underwhelming. the spa is located inside the cliff lodge which is a ski resort. the actual spa is small, the ceilings are low so it feels very stuffy inside, and overall the amenities did not live up to the hype but the views were iconic.

Yelp
Beautiful Location, Underwhelming Spa Experience The Cliff Spa is in an absolutely stunning location with unmatched views of the surrounding mountains. The scenery alone makes it a relaxing place to visit, but unfortunately, the spa itself was underwhelming, especially if you're used to more luxurious, full-service spas. Coming from Reno, where we have multi-story spas like those at the Peppermill and Atlantis, I expected more in terms of amenities, treatment options, and overall experience. I am very biased to the spas at home so I was trying to not have high expectations but I was still disappointed. This spa is very minimal--there are no food or drink options aside from tea, and if you want anything else, you have to leave the spa to get it. When you're used to having food and beverages delivered poolside, this feels like a major letdown. The highlight of the spa is the gorgeous heated rooftop pool and the single hot tub, both of which offer breathtaking views. On their website they offer heated decks and gas-fed fire pits but those were turned off and not working during the time of our visit. Beyond that, the amenities are quite limited. There is one coed steam room and a sauna in the individual locker rooms, but that's about it. While they do offer a long list of massages and facials, be prepared to pay a premium price. A couples massage was $200 per person before gratuity, which is steep. That being said, the massage itself was phenomenal--easily a 12/10 experience. The massage is what did it for me and my husband. Tai, my massage therapist, did an incredible job working out my muscle tension, which was the one truly redeeming part of the visit. One unexpected disappointment was the spa robe. Normally, you'd expect a plush, cozy, high-quality robe at a luxury spa, but this one was stiff, small, and a bit itchy--definitely not what you want when you're trying to relax. Beyond that, the entire atmosphere just felt lacking. The décor was very basic, and there weren't many thoughtful details that make a spa experience feel special. It was missing that sense of luxury and ambiance that you expect when visiting a high-end spa. There is no where to lounge except outside and it was too cold to lay in the lounge chairs. They do offer day passes for the spa: $55 for Monday- Thursday, $75 for Friday-Sunday, and $37 for hotel guests. This is the way to go if you want to swim and relax in the hot tub. Overall, while the setting is beautiful and the massage was excellent, the lack of amenities, high prices, and little details (like the uncomfortable robe) make it hard to justify a return trip. If you're looking for a spa with a full luxury experience, this isn't the place.

Yelp
I went during the fall, so the experience was extra vibrant and special. I'm used to having the jacuzzi and pools being indoors, but I love the idea of having them outside to really appreciate the beautiful nature and outdoors. It was so nice to see the fall trees at different views from the rooftop. I felt so relaxed and peaceful that time went by so quickly! What's wonderful about the jacuzzi and pools are that they're heated, so it's super convenient during cold weather. It was actually raining intermittently the day I was there, but it didn't stop anyone from staying outdoors. It was packed and busy that day, too. I spent most of my day there and used every amenity--jacuzzi, saunas, showers, indoor resting area. Such a perfect way to decompress, read, meditate, ground myself, and detox for the day. The facility is clean and they even offer different types of teas. Also, I didn't have any issues finding parking. Next time I'm coming back, I'll be sure to check out their yoga classes and perhaps have lunch or dinner after.

Yelp
Amazing and relaxing time! Many reviews we read complained about the location being outdated however with a prime location with Mountain views in the winter it was more charming in my opinion. We went early, started off with an amazing couple massage. Marsha was great at his craft and was able to set the tone for the rest of the day. Relaxed in the rooftop pool/jacuzzi, since we went early didn't really experience the crowds as people mentioned. My only complaint was I wish they offered snacks or food for purchase as you are relaxing and enjoying the services it does build up an appetite

Yelp
Great service. Great massage! Super nice and cozy. I recommend for sure! Love the tea stand

Yelp
Reasons to go: Can you beat a 360° view of the best peaks in Little Cottonwood Canyon? Has there ever been a better mountain view from a pool? Great for bringing out of town guests. Relatively reasonable day passes. Yoga /spin classes available. Reasons to skip: Feels like a fraternity now. Updates to the spa change rooms were skipped in the renovation. Finishes are dated - at least 20+ years old. Linens and amenities (robes, towels) are very basic. No food/snacks available for purchase at the spa. You must leave the spa for the resort restaurants, and return within 2 hours. It appears that most people come for day use, which leads to overcrowding. The $25 day passes of yesterday to the Cliff Spa were a locals secret, especially in the off season when the roof top pool/spa was essentially empty. Now, there is no off season in the mountains, and day passes are $50, and the spa/pool is crowded no matter the season. The rooftop area underwent renovations a couple of years ago but one can hardly tell. The tiles are wonky and move under foot. Perhaps this accommodates all the snow that has to have somewhere to melt but it feels haphazard. At the time of making the reservation there was a stern warning about absolutely no food or drink (anymore) in the outdoor pool/hot tub area, which is strange since there are so many picnic tables available. We complied only to find that literally no one adhered to this new rule and no one was enforcing it. Bring all the snacks and drinks you wish for your pool day.

Yelp
As someone who frequents resort spas, the Cliff Spa left me feeling underwhelmed. The customer service from the moment we walked in was subpar. For example, we were asked if we wanted a robe and slippers. I've never been to a spa where that was even a question. I also had to ask for a walk through of the spa. Usually you are given a tour of the spa without having to ask. Another note: There are no spa snacks. Only water and tea. Big disappointment for spa connoisseurs. The amenities themselves need updating. It feels outdated and the door in the steam room was dirty looking. The pool is the most redeeming part of the spa experience. However, there is no food or drink allowed or served in the pool area. You have to leave to go to a restaurant. This is a major turn off for anyone used to the convenience of pool side dining. The views at the pool are stunning and very unique. However if you are looking for both exceptional service and views I would suggest a resort in Park City.

Yelp
Excellent treatments with Hannah and Melanie. Two hours of serious pampering and nurturing my body! The combo package of scrub/wrap with oil scalp massage followed with an exceptional massage was a highlight of my week. After two days of skiing this was exactly what I needed.

Yelp
The cliff spa was truly a dream!! The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are amazing - we got there early for our 8:45 massage and hung there. The spa opens at 6 so you can get there early (and I'd suggest getting there early). We hung out in the jacuzzi and the pool for about a while and then went to the sauna in our locker rooms. Vanessa did a my massage and she was so great - I would absolutely ask for her next time I get a massage there. She was friendly and did such a good job on my message! After our massage we went to the steam room and hung out for a little bit before going back to the jacuzzi. Sooo worth it!

Yelp
Used our day pass at the spa while staying at the Lodge. The spa feels a bit like something out of the 80's or 90's, and while it's probably been updated, it retains both some of that charm (love the stairs to the second floor) but also feels a bit tired and commercial for a mountain spa resort. The dressing rooms were large and comfortable, with plenty of lockers. Sauna and steam room were both nice. The pool was pretty dirty and needed to be cleaned and picked up at the end of the day (a whole days worth of towels and trash left by guests had gone without being cleaned by staff). The hot tub was hopping even close to closing. There's free tea but one of the machines was broken. I was impressed by the small shop in the spa. Overall, I've been to so many nicer spas this one just seemed to miss the mark. Glad we only used a day pass instead of paying $$$ for services (mainly, we chose not to after reading reviews... we have nicer spas on our itinerary as we continue our honeymoon trip. Front desk staff was friendly, but we never encountered any other staff.

Yelp
The Cliff Spa is definitely a unique to Utah experience that is a lot of fun to bring out of state visitors to experience. I'm reminiscing on the days when a pass to The Cliff Spa was $35. Now I believe it's $50 for a day pass, and a little bit harder to reserve and get into. You can make a reservation online through their website, and I would recommend planning ahead and reserving a time slot in advance. If you're staying at the hotel, I believe the pass is cheaper. With your day pass, you get access to their rooftop pool and hot tub, their fitness center, fitness classes, dry sauna, and locker room. They also give you a robe and sandals to walk around the spa in. They also have complimentary tea and coffee for guests as well. You can stay for as long as you'd like once you get in. It's definitely a great place to bring out of state guests, which is typically when I come here. The views are unreal from the rooftop pool, and it's a very relaxing and picturesque place to come to spend the afternoon. They limit the number of people who can visit so it's never felt too crowded whenever I've come. I've been here a handful of times and have always had a lovely experience.

Yelp
Lovely spot to grab a sauna (segregated by sex) with your friends and just relax to give yourself some rest between ski days. Overall a lovely property.

Audra S.

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed in my experience. To be clear, I've been here before to use amenities and had a great time, the amenities like the pool and hot tub are fantastic. This time I returned to have a facial, and the price did not match the experience at all. For $200 ($240 with gratuity), I've had much more elevated experiences at Las Vegas spas, and even other places in the valley. This spa was messy, chaotic, I had to try 3 or 4 lockers before one actually worked, and the front desk was intimidating - I could not get checked out fast enough, they acted like we were such a nuisance just trying to pay our bill. I think the facial itself was nice, but the room I was in had more of a basic strip mall spa vibe, not one of luxury. I will not be returning for more services, you can have a much better experience at somewhere like Sego Lily!

Teressa B.

Yelp
Had a great experience at the Cliff Spa. It was super relaxing to enjoy the pool and hot tub on a cold day after a booked massage. The only downside (reason for the reduction of stars) was the pool and/or hot tub bleached my new bathing suit I rinsed the suit out in the showers with soap immediately after going in the water but tragically it ruined the suit. Recommend visiting but be sure not to wear anything you want to keep after visiting.

Yelp
If you are looking for the complete spa experience, might I suggest taking your business up the road and heading to the Stillwell Spa at the Snow Pine Lodge instead? Upon arrival, the Cliff Lodge itself is beautiful, and so are the views of the mountains. However, I was incredibly underwhelmed with the amenities provided. Including the refreshment station, which was dirty, the "relaxation room", the lack of showers within the women's locker room, and the one dust covered hairdryer provided. I have to say that the rooftop access was absolutely beautiful. That would be the reason to return but I would definitely opt for the $50 day pass and instead of spending nearly $200 on a spa service that was mediocre at best. Because there are so many day passes available, I did find that the spot was pretty crowded and it was not a very relaxing environment in my opinion. The hot tub was overcrowded and full of people that did not understand spa etiquette. Not everyone wants to hear about your sexual encounters. I am going to give the Cliff Spa the benefit of the doubt and say that the women's locker room appearance, and functionality is the way that it is because of the ongoing remodel. However, it would have been nice to be offered a discount seeing that some of the amenities were not even available. All in all an overpriced, underwhelming experience.

Grace M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my trip here!! The amenities were awesome. The yoga class was super relaxing and the view was out of a dream. I had a reiki session with Hannah and it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They held our luggage when we went to the spa even though we weren't guests of the hotel. The spa staff were friendly and gave us a brief tour. The locker room was a little cramped and left a little to be desired. Someone was vacuuming when we arrived and was vacuuming around me while I tried to change- like I was not supposed to be there. The rooftop pool and hot tub were gorgeous big it was windy and FREEZING. Fire pit was not on and there were no other heaters which made it impossible to sit out if not in the water. I got the alpenglow facial which was 10/10. My esthetician was very professional and I had a great experience. Overall, would come back again!

M D.

Yelp
Amenities were nice but terrible customer service. Did not feel welcome and their advertising is wrong. If you stay at the Iron Blossam lodge you will not get access to the Cliff Spa, they will charge you $37 a day.

Jared J.

Yelp
We booked this room for the use of the spa pool for our kids. I booked over the phone and was not informed guests have to be 16 or older to use the spa pool. After arriving, I was told the spa was closing hours early. Again, we booked this for use of the spa pool. At 8:25am, housekeeping just walked in our room. My family was sleeping. They did not knock and we have a do not disturb sign on the door. I travel a lot and I would rate this bed in the top 5 worst hotel beds I've ever slept on. Positives: The views are amazing and the food was good, but pricey. Would not stay here again.

Yelp
Our massage therapists (Ben and Ryan) were 5 stars, but our experience as a whole was horrendous. Our only complaint about them was Ryan was a little chatty and nobody wants to chat and talk about work when they're getting a massage. Both of them gave amazing massages though with 10/10 technique and skill. We came for a couples massage on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed. The vibe was not relaxing at all. We had been looking forward to using the hot tub and pool for months and literally couldn't use it because there was no room. It was like a spring break hot tub. We checked 3 different times and all 3 times it was like this. Extremely disappointed. The locker rooms were dirty and unkempt. There was food and trash in the lockers and the laundry bins were overflowing. The robes they give you are thin and low quality and you could see my nipples through it. There were only 2 toilets in the women's bathroom so I had to wait in line to pee, which is so ridiculous when you're paying $200 for an hour massage. The toilets were gross with chipped toilet seats. There are also only 3 showers for the women. The men's showers were like jail where it was an open room with small frosted glass dividers between them. None of the experience felt like you were at a spa, and for the amount of money you spend for services it was really disappointing to experience the crowds and inability to even use the hot tub which we were most excited about. This brings me to the worst part. When we went to check out, Malia, whose name tag indicated she is the "front desk coordinator" didn't even ask us how our experience or treatments were. I said we were disappointed because we couldn't use the hot tub because it was packed and she said "yeah it gets like that." We told her the gratuity we'd like to leave for our massage therapists. We received a gift certificate for Christmas for a couples massage, and on the amount line it stated "one couples massage." Malia said the prices had increased and we'd have to pay the difference. I said that the gift certificate did not state an amount and just stated for one couples massages, so it should cover whatever the couples massage is. There is no fine print on the GC stating that it was for a specific amount. She argued over this for 5 minutes. She said she was going to take the $10 difference out of the gratuity we left for the massage therapists, which is so messed up. I asked for the manager, and she said she was the manager. Then said she couldn't adjust the price and I'd have to talk to the director, which I said was no problem. Then she said, "it's only ten dollars" to which I said "great then you should have no problem adjusting the price." We're talking about $5 on each massage. This wasn't about the money, it was about the principal and the horrendous customer service and experience. Magically, she was able to adjust the price without having to talk to her director. She completed the transaction, and I said thank you, to which she replied "mmhmm." So unbelievably unprofessional and rude and outrageous for any customer-facing position, but especially somewhere where customers are spending so much money.

Yelp
I joined this Spa as my gym because Snowbird is my home mountain here in Utah and I can't rave enough about my choice. Not only do they have a rooftop pool and hot tub that are open year round with a beautiful view of the mountains. But they also have wonderful yoga and stretch classes that are complimentary with your membership or service. Then there is the gym that never seems to be crowded, both a wet sauna (this one is unisex) and two dry saunas that are in the mens and women's locker rooms. Bonus during the fall and summer the drive up the canyon to the Cliff Spa was absolutely beautiful! Extra bonus with a membership is that you can bring a guest for only 15$ instead of the 35$ daily guest pass,

Yelp
My friend and I each booked services for today, May 6th @ 1 PM. I am from Miami, and visiting SLC for my birthday weekend. Today is my actual birthday. I booked a 90 minute massage with a female masseuse. I would like to start off by stating this is the worst spa experience I have ever had. I am somewhat of a spa connoisseur. I get a massage every time I travel. When we checked in, the ladies at front desk stood at the front and pointed to where we should go. I couldn't believe this is how you treat your spa guests. Typically, a spa staff takes the guest on the tour - locker room, changing room, snack area, and waiting area. A male masseuse came out to greet me when I specifically requested a female therapist. They said they could not accommodate me and I could come back at 3 or another day. We have dinner reservations and a full itinerary. I cannot come back. Secondly, when I was discussing this with your front desk, she said, "You need to request a female therapist". The female therapist was requested!!! Thirdly, she said, "We will not charge you for the massage". Why would you charge me for a massage when your staff screwed up? Lastly, she said I could use the spa facilities and she wouldn't charge me. I didn't book a sauna. I booked a 90 minute massage. She did give me a small lotion or something. I went downstairs to speak to the GM. I was directed to Matt Maley. He was in a meeting, but came out shortly after. When I spoke with him about the terrible experience today, he had a blank stare. I asked him why he had a blank stare. I wanted to know if he thought they acted appropriately. He said, "This is a spa issue, and normally you would speak to the spa manager. He called the spa manager, Paula down. She came down, and stated she was sorry. But all of this makes up for nothing. I asked Matt for a corporate number and he said that The Cliff was independently owned so he couldn't give me a number. When pressed, he said it was owned by Powdr. I had to Google it because he wouldn't give me a number.

Yelp
What a beautiful drive to a beautiful destination to enjoy a beautiful spa day with did I mention... a beautiful pool view? I was visiting from California and wanted to treat myself to a nice Spa day. My girlfriend took me here and wow, what a lovely experience. I just found out that day passes are $25-35 depending on the season for pool use and classes! How wonderful! I look forward to coming back again in my next utah visit. Everything was clean, staff was nice. Covid protocols followed. Happy lady!

Yelp
I've always been a huge fan of Snowbird - especially when it's snow-less, and green and gorgeous (I'm more of a Summer Snowbird girl) - but it was only recently that I was introduced to the idea of the Cliff Spa. The Cliff Spa offers an amazing experience with an extremely low price tag - especially for being at a Resort. Don't get me wrong, the spa services (massages, manicures, facials etc.) are ridiculously pricey, but entrance into the spa for their other services (in summer season) is $25-30 dollars depending on the day of the week you stop in. We stopped in on a Wednesday - meaning, it was $25 per person for a whole day pass. This includes: unlimited exercise classes, access to their fitness room, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, solarium, sun deck with pool, hot tub, and heated ground. You can also have all the tea your kidneys can handle - which, for me, is a lot. I went with my mom and sister, and we had an absolutely amazing day. We started our morning with a yoga class at 830, followed by a foam rolling class at 1030. Both classes were fun and offered amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We hit up the eucalyptus steam room and relaxed and chatted in their solarium (side room with more views of mountains). You can leave the spa and enter again with your receipt, which we did, to run down to find a bite to eat (slim pickings for vegans). Post lunch, we hopped in the pool. It was still... a balmy 52 degrees up in Snowbird on a mid-April day... but the pool is very nicely heated, and the ground almost burns your feet. Throughout the day we had a lot of time to relax, enjoy life, drink tea, and have an amazing time. The day went so quickly for us, and was well worth the tiny fee. I suggest this place for a nice day getaway, mental health retreat, girls day, mother's day, present for a loved one.. etc etc. Now that I have experienced the Cliff Spa, it'll be an easy and beloved getaway for me.

Yelp
A great yoga class in the most beautiful setting imaginable. I particularly enjoyed Tiffany's class, and decided to join the Cliff Spa for the the yoga. Dave

Yelp
I loved my massage. I had Kwan as my Massage Therapist and I loved her attention to detail and care. Best massage I've had in a while. It is pricey but it was worth it after the experience I had. I will say the checkout associate was odd and I didn't love how she treated me but I didn't let her ruin my amazing massage.

Yelp
Maybe it's because it was COVID but the staff wasn't the most welcoming or friendliest. It almost felt as if we were inconveniencing them just being there. It would seem if you're paying $280 for a 90min massage that the customer service would be more attentive. The masseuse was great and room service would get 5 stars. But the spa staff could get some brush up in customer service skills.

Yelp
Avoid. Just another overpriced resort spa with subpar facilities and bad schedule management.

Yelp
This spa is top notch! I had a massage with Kwan that I can easily say was one the best massages I've had. She was super sweet and performs a great deep tissue massage for a such a tiny sweet lady. I 100% will request her next time I'm there. Also, the entire nail/hair/salon staff was very nice and the group I was with all enjoyed talking with the salon girls. They were full of helpful tips and info but also reflected excellent professionalism. Rooftop pool was lovely. You won't be disappointed with your spa experience!

Yelp
Just another subpar, overpriced resort spa with mediocre facilities. Booked a stay for a wedding anniversary with massages. The spa recommended massages at 6:45pm. Failed to mention the spa was closing early due to a "private event," and that the massages would end after closing. Much to my surprise, as soon as I sat down after the massage I was greeted by an unfriendly employee who told me the spa was closed and we needed to leave. He then escorted us to the locker rooms, and escorted me into the men's locker room, where he stayed until I changed and left. No apology. No offer for an alternative. Just an "it's time for you to leave" vibe. I have never been treated like a trespasser when spending money at a facility. The least the spa could have done is told me at booking that the start time THEY RECOMMENDED overlapped their arbitrary closing time. Or perhaps offered an alternative. Or perhaps given my spouse and I five minutes to recover after the massages before sending mister "rent-a-cop" employee to kick us out. He seemed to enjoy that a little too much. The sad part is the massages were great. But before the spa manager responds to this review latching onto the fact that I said the massages were great, the reality is that these massage therapists are independent contractors and not employed by the spa. So please spare me, and the rest of the Yelp world, the attempt at taking credit for something good that you aren't responsible for.

Yelp
Phenomenal experience! My husband, friends and I were in town (end of May) and decided to book couple massages. It was a bit last minute but everything about our experience was perfection. Los Guidry's Thoughts and Recommendations: - Friendly staff! We booked our massages the morning of and the staff was super accommodating and helpful both over the phone and in person. - Great facilities! Starting with the parking lot- it is large and easy to locate. Inside the building the facility is clean and feels luxurious. Cliff Spa has separate men's and women's locker room which were clean and spacious. They have a little refreshments room where you'll find cold water, hot water, and an assortment of teas. - Massages were superb! My husband and I shared a room for our couple's massage and our friends shared a room for their couple's massage and we all agreed our massages were fantastic. The masseuses' ensured the amount of pressure was to our liking and they were targeting muscles that needed attention. Both of the guys admitted to snoozing off during their massages which speaks to how relaxing the experience was. After the massages the masseuses' brought us hot tea and checked in with us to make sure we were good. - The pool! After the 1hr long massages we headed to the pool which was amazing. There are beautiful mountain views around the pool. The pool water wasn't too cold so it was ideal for dipping in and the pool area wasn't too crowded so it was easy to stay socially distanced. We LOVED our experience at The Cliff Spa. I'd say it was the highlight of our trip to Salt Lake City. Highly recommend coming here for fun and relaxation.

Yelp
My friends wanted to sneak away to the mountains to relax by the pool, it was needed. The price is very affordable for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. You are given comfy robes and have access to saunas and steam rooms. There is tea all around and a yoga/zen room. There is a restaurant on site. The hot tub is nice and the pool is great, it's fun to be on top of a roof laying in a pool and looking out at the beautiful mountains of Utah. It's a pretty big spot with lots of seating. We turned it into our own spa day and brought our own face masks. Would highly recomennd for a relaxing escape from the city!

Yelp
Need a staycation - $35 day pass at one Cottonwood Canyon's most delightful spas. Includes fitness, pool and yoga! Wish they had a spa food menu though. I was also shocked no complimentary water

Yelp
Gorgeous spa with views to die for. Who wouldn't want to soak in the hot tub in 30 degree weather? Their day pass is totally worth it and you can spend hours there. Def worth going if you're in SLC or park city

Yelp
Mask policy is not enforced. People coughing in solarium. Staff makes no attempt to ask people to wear them and patrons rudely ignore the signs ALL over saying masks required. An attendant was accompanying a couple into the spa with their masks off, and a staff member in the treatment room hallway had her mask under her chin.

Yelp
This was my first time at the Cliff Spa, and I will be a repeat customer for sure. I signed up for the East Meets West which includes a signature massage for 50 minutes and a 50 minute Thai-style reflexology treatment. I was concerned based on the wording on the site this would be a lame "rubbing" type massage. However, I told Hokyo that I wanted deep tissue, and boy, did she do a great deep tissue massage. I get massages often and this was hands-down, the BEST deep tissue I've ever received in my life. It's the first time I had to often has her to reduce pressure--she was super responsive and had a lot of advice on helping me reduce muscle tension without trying to sell me a whole bunch of junk in the store. I am going to make returning to the spa and requesting Hokyo a must have every time I return to Salt Lake CIty, UT. Amazing and worth the cost!

Yelp
Loved every minute of my time here! Got my nails done with Abigail and she did an amazing job! She went above and beyond making it so relaxing and nice. I also loved the eucalyptus room, roof top pool, and the fitness center. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Great service And beautiful location - unfortunately we were not able to make it due to weather but can't wait until we can. :)

Yelp
I attended a yoga class at the cliff spa and was 100% happy with my experience. The class was more of a guided meditation than yoga and the instructor took us on a cosmic journey through time and space. Then the hot tub/ steam room with hot tea experience was a nice cherry on top. Will be back for more at some point. The bar/lounge outside the spa is a nice way to end the evening with occasional live music.

Yelp
Not a manicure place. I had high hopes due to the Snowbird ski resort reputation, but after leaving with dry skin all round my nail beds and several hangnails never cleaned up, I left pretty ticked off. Conversation was SUPER unprofessional and definitely not the caliber in which this type of resort seems to boast. One coat of color and a clear coat. That was it. $30 and I could have had this done by my 6 year old for free. The music (which I like when I hit the clubs of Vegas) was not conducive to a spa atmosphere either. BUMMED.

Yelp
Cliff Spa is one of the reasons why I choose Snowbird. I needed to find a location that offered amenities for skiers, boarders, and NON-skiers. For $25, you get an all-day pass with exclusive access to the rooftop pool, sauna, fitness classes, and fitness equipment. You also don't need to bring any toiletries as they are all provided including feminine pads. Talk about making planning easy. Just get in your car and go :) Yep, I left my parents at the spa where they ran into more non-skiers whose friends or children were enjoying snowbird while they enjoyed the spa. Win-win for everyone :) P.S. They also offer various massage and facial treatments. Note: for complimentary fitness classes, you must call in advance to sign-up.

Yelp
Definitely not worth $30 a person to use the pool. They are charging Ritz Carlton , St Regis , or 4 Seasons level prices for Holladay Inn quality. Every water dispenser didn't work, the water was turned off in the locker room, and there is zero kind of drink or food service. If I'm paying $30 to swim I should be able to order a cocktail or at the least get a glass of water. Also it's weirdly quiet like not even some spa music in the background. The normal pool at the lodge is honestly better.

Yelp
My bf and I went to the spa for a quick massage and we both walked out thinking it was one of the best massages we have ever gotten (Ana and Jason thank you!). We got the cliff massage and they knew exactly what our bodies needed after skiing hard for a few days. Negative was that the wind was seriously blowing on the roof and it was like a snow tornado to get out to the pool/hot tub which is located far from the door so it was freezing and wasn't that great/hot. I don't believe they had an indoor hot tub/pool option. I don't suggest it during any type of storm. We didn't use the gym but it looked nice. Sauna was nice. Also no champagne! Overall we'd go back for another massage.

Yelp
This was the worst spa experience, my friend and I had booked a massage and facial in the morning. We had never been here before and didn't know our way around and the receptionist didn't give us a tour of the facility or told us where to go. The massage was not good, the therapist ask what area she should focus on and I said shoulders and lower but she barely spent any time in those areas, why ask then. I felt worst when She finish then when I walked in. The facial was alright and basically gave me a facial massage. When I told the receptionist about it, she seemed to brush it off and just asked If I wanted to tip. The staff don't seem to really care about your experience. I spent $350 for two services which was a complete waste of money and definitely not worth it. The only thing that was ok was the pool and hot tube but probably due to the nice view of the mountains. I would not recommend coming here ever.

Yelp
I was at snowbird for a wedding last weekend and booked a shampoo/blowout with Emily. She is magical and made my hair look exactly like the pinterest photos I showed her (ooooo so basic). I sometimes ask stylists for "loose waves" and end up with stupid prom-looking ringlets, but Emily rocks and made my hair look fluffy and nice. I was even mistaken for a Unicorn several times during the evening of the wedding. I cannot tell you how she did it or which tools she used, because A) my chair was turned away from the mirror and B) I am 7 and was playing candy crush saga during the entire appointment. I therefore assume she is a witch and used magic. Also, I didn't wash my hair for 3 days and it continued to look awesome. Price: $50. Pretty much as expected for a resort. The actual facilities at the Cliff Spa are awesome, and the pool is amazing and worth going to regardless of your use of the spa. We even saw a mama moose and her babies looking down from the glass!

Yelp
My business partner and I came up to hang at Cliff Spa for the day. We worked out in the fitness area, used the outdoor hot tub and heated pool. Then we went to the solarium to read and drink tea. After several hours of relaxing, we showered and went on our merry way. Valet was complimentary for spa guests. The locker rooms got trashed with tons of towels, robes and slippers spilling out of the hamper. They need more staff to come through and check more often.

Yelp
I have visited this spa twice. The first time I just got a manicure and pedicure and it was just OK but expensive. The second time I got a facial and a body scrub. The body scrub could have been done all by myself because not too much work was done. The facial was good; I loved being tightly wrapped up, getting my feet worked on and heat wrapped while my face mask was on. They don't use steam or do extractions but the products felt good. The waiting room has no ambience, the robes are not of high quality and even the refreshments are being ugly displayed however the view is spectacular. There were two male cleaners in the women's dressing room/shower area, something that should not be allowed. I wanted to give two stars but the facial and view bumped it up.
