Delighted by the expansion of The Closet Hippy. Malanda is fast adding to the cultural richness of the Tablelands as a place to go, to relax and indulge in simple pleasures. And The Closet Hippy is a big contributor. It offers so much, live music, wares of all sorts, an Aladdin's Cave of intriguing and beautiful experiences and products. Fabulous to sink into the atmosphere of calm, love and simple pleasures, cup of chai in hand.

One of FNQs hidden gems 💎 my absolute favourite shop for gifts, incense, clothing and more! Worth the drive from anywhere to just experience the atmosphere of this special place. Cafe section offers the best coffee in Malanda using local beans and milk as well as REAL LEAF CHAI! Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options available. So grateful to have a shop like this on the beautiful Tablelands ✨🌸✌️🕉️

Not so chilled. While I was viewing the stores great niks and naks my two boys were resting in the ‘chilled’ seating area,(zero people in there btw) and because they weren’t buying food were asked to leave. Not cool. They lost a sale from me due to it.

The customer service in this place was unwelcoming especially from the owner, the young lady serving me was struggling with the register until the owner basically shoved her out of the way and had nothing but a cold scolding look to give. They pride themselves on great coffee and service but it was just one bad thing after another. Owner needs to learn how to put a smile on her face not just to customers but to her staff. Makes it no surprise that I hear she’s been taken to court. She made the drive to Kuranda well worth it for some happy service.

Love the store. It has so many wonderful things. You will always find something you like. They have a great range of ear and body jewellery. They now do ear piercing. How fantastic is that The staff are always welcoming and very friendly

What a GEM of a shop! I could spend hours looking thru all they have to offer or just chatting with the lovely people who work there. Beware: the Zen Den will pull you in as you enjoy your coffee and treats. You could lose hours, but you'll come out so relaxed and happy!
