2024 Best Hotel Bars in the United States

"This see-and-be-seen Beverly Hills bar nails the no-expense-spared, Hollywood glamor experience. The Club Bar is dim and leathery, with dark wood panels and deep chairs that are often occupied by movie exes and other high rollers. They’re here for the classic cocktails, rare spirits, and a lavish wine list (including bottles blended exclusively for the bar), plus the classy bar snacks like delicate folds of shrimp har gow and Peking duck potstickers." - Kate Dingwall

I sat down and was immediately greeted by the lovely bartender (I forgot her name) and she gave me great service. I ordered a cocktail made with hibiscus-infused Mezcal garnished with candied rose petals and it was very good. I then ordered it again on a large rock with I would recommend over having it up. The sliders and fries were good as well, 8/10. Will definitely be back again.

This bar isn’t what it used to be!!!! The service has gone downhill, and employees seem to charge different prices for the same drinks, which feels unprofessional. Crooked!!! The food is mediocre at best, nothing worth coming back for. With so many great options in Beverly Hills, there’s no reason to waste time or money here. There are far better places with consistent pricing, better service, and a much better atmosphere. Skip this spot and find somewhere that actually values its customers.

Now when you need luxury and you actually get one. The bar at this place is what you get from the start. Believe me its not because of beverly hills needs. There is all the fake there. This place actually gives the real luxury, real food, everything REAL. Do you get it. Absolutely must see

Ring My Bell was a fantastic beverage.

Shnazzy, to say the least! Very friendly staff and accommodating service, they allowed us to switch tables for a better view of the room (hubby and I came out for date night for a couple drinks). Great people watching, drinks were also delicious! High price point, but the classy ambiance and five star service make it worth it. Also, the bathrooms are beautiful, clean and well lit!

We had such a great time at The Club Bar! Most of what made our experience so pleasant and special was the service from Tracy - SO sweet and accommodating and went the extra mile to make us feel taken care of all through the night. This place will now be on our list of places to come back to when visiting from NYC.

So it’s hard to rate this place without speaking of the prices for the drinks. I have NEVER paid 30 dollars for a cosmo in my life. Granted it was grey goose but I own a liquor store and I know what liquor costs . It is ridiculous to charge 30 dollars for a cocktail. The food was ok and overpriced but not as bad. I paid 17 dollars for three egg rolls. Look, the bar is cool, the people watching is nice and the staff is very polite and friendly and yes I know you pay for being in a posh hotel but 50 bucks for a drink and 3 egg rolls is ridiculous . I won’t be going back.

Steve (bartender at The Club Bar) is the best slinger of sauce I've ever bellied up across from. If you go for no other reason, he's well worth the price of admission. 100/100

Yelp
I'm not a drinker. I'm not into the "bar scene." I love this place! At such an upscale hotel in the middle of upscale USA this little oasis is a relaxing, casual, non-pretentious cozy place to hang out and people watch. You are greeted with a tray of cheese, olives, and addicting potato chips. You can order a burger, salad, appetizers, drinks, and dessert. I've never ordered anything other than dessert because we always tend to go later at night after being out for the evening. The desserts are fantastic. The cinnamon cake has a side of pears and the combination is great. But, it's the chocolate soufflé that comes with vanilla ice cream that is spectacular! Couple that with a cozy, intimate atmosphere with nice soft music and it's a winner all around.

Yelp
Casual calm atmosphere with a cigar lounge vibe, dark paneling typical of hotels in this vein. One of our fave places to have a bite and relax during these super hot summer days; you don't feel the bustle of the city and it hasn't become crazy populated by locals yet. Dim sum is yummy and portions are generous, but we mainly come back for the tea and desserts.

Yelp
Drinks. Perfection. Service. Devine. Ben was charming hysterical and so attentive. And the music was perfection. Vibes for days. Oh and the people watching!!! Josh Altman and Marcus Lemonis in one night. Plus the pretty people.

Yelp
My favorite i food is the chicken quesadilla. The service is 5 and food and drinks are always on par. East coast feel with the dark wood panels...come for the food...stay for the piano bar in tea room on weekends.

Yelp
Great bar and servers. But new management discontinued the roasted salted almonds and instead serving salty trail mix ?? To paraphrase the former CEO of Costco -- "don't ('mess' )with the almonds !!!

Yelp
We've been frequenting The Club Bar for years, and yesterday was another birthday for a friend. We were seated immediately by the pleasant hostess and attended to by Ben, the expert waiter who provided us fantastic service, with a little birthday dessert on the house. The drinks are obviously great, but the food is also in a starred category. Truffled fries, the trout and salmon mousse bar platter, the dumplings, the ice cream sundae - all perfection, and no need to go anywhere else for dinner. Our friend was fêted and so pleased. The Club Bar is always a hit, no matter when. Such a party place, and highly recommended!

Yelp
The prices have gotten out of control!!! Yea it's Beverly Hills but come on $26 for a martini- I can go to the store and buy a bottle of vodka for that price. I love the Peninsula, I love the bar at the Peninsula but I can't afford to hang out here anymore even if the ambiance is gorgeous. The drinks are crazy expensive and the food is mediocre. Truffle fries for $16 that were soggy, shrimp har grow too doughy they fell apart, and greasy veggie spring rolls. I'm sad. And hungry. And need to find another place to go. We had a good run Peninsula....moving on.

Yelp
Great ambience, love the dim lighting and wooden bar setting. I went alone for happy hour, and it was absolutely relaxing, no TV's, which actually turned out great. Had a martini, the server, who's name I forgot was very friendly and welcoming. From the moment you walk into the door, the staff at The Peninsula is friendly and the service is great. Will be coming back more often :)

Yelp
A friend and I walked into the hotel and staff was friendly. But as soon as we reached the bar security came up to us and asked if we needed a seat. It was weird how security was speaking to us. We just left. It felt really uncomfortable.

Yelp
I love this bar for a fun drink with a friend or to have a leisurely lunch while catching up on work in the daytime. There no other bar like this in Los Angeles with it's old-school grandeur and amazing service. I invited out-of-town friends to the bar last night and they loved the drinks and chatting with Ben, Christine and Reggie. The only bad news at The Club Bar is they've downgraded the bar snack situation. The usual top notch condiments of kettle chips, seasoned almonds and mixed olives has been replaced with a sad combination of humdrum honey mustard pretzel bits and a lame asian snack mix. Sort of a bummer, but I'll keep coming anyhow!!

Yelp
The bar at this hotel does not disappoint. A laid back atmosphere with a great bartender and solid drinks. The cocktail menu has a number of nice drinks with a great balance of flavors. Our bartender Steve is very attentive and knows his craft well. A nice place to pass an evening.

Yelp
Tried it based on this apps great reviews. I spent 30min unseen there. Not for the doors to be opened (which i witnessed, is standard), not helped at the bar, or even really made eye contact with. My intention was to get a couple drinks before meeting with some friends. I left in almost tears. I let the front desk know how I felt, in hopes that another girl like me doesn't feel the same. Probably won't be going back.

Yelp
so disappointed This is usually my go to place when i find I want to grab a bite on my way home. I usually eat at the bar, but the bar was full so i ate at one of the tables in the bar. This is based on tonight. My waitress was basically non existent. She never brought the tray of snacks, she was way too busy conversing with a guy. I finally was able to order. The food came out cold but it took forever to get her attention because again just talking with the guy. Finally got her attention and got my food. I felt completely invisible. Never once checked to see if everything was ok. I get that she works here maybe to meet the guys, but it's still work and you still need to do you job. I don't know if i'll be back again. Really a depressing experience. Have been going here for years and this ruined it, sad to say.

Yelp
No matter if it's dead or crawling with guest, this is the perfect place to treat yourself to a cocktail. Top shelf service & complimentary bar snacks. 2 cocktails will run around $41 (red wine & old fashion). There's also plenty to order from the kitchen. It's pricey, keeps the rift raft out There's no rush so enjoy the ambiance as you sip & nibble.

Yelp
Ernesto was great! I was boring and ordered coffee but my group had other plans and thoroughly enjoyed the bar. Ernesto made our drinks quickly and was very nice to converse with. My friends are regulars but this was my first time here. I will be back to enjoy the libations on my next visit. If you're in the area or stay at the hotel definitely come by.

Yelp
This place is very classy and upscale. Cozy and intimate. Great place to bring a date for drinks or to meet with girlfriends. They have one TV and sometimes golf will be on. Signature top shelf drinks good bar bites they provide complimentary snacks which consist of potatoe chips olives sometimes trail mix or cheese. They have a nice fireplace as well.

Yelp
A quiet bar at an upscale hotel. The service is excellent, the drinks delicious with the price tag to match. The place is immaculately designed. If you are looking for an upscale hotel bar to have a drink and a good conversation this is the place to go in Beverly Hills especially on a rainy LA day.

Yelp
Went here for a drink and appetizer. I ordered the shrimp and scallops spring rolls. You'll get 3 of them. A little greasy, but so mouthwatering good. I also ordered the Bellini. I'm not a big drinker, but it was a 9. Customer service was right on, and the ambiance is a great plus. I went around 3:30 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded, so I really got to unwind and relax. A little pricey, but I thought it was worth it once in awhile. Worth to stop and check it out.

Yelp
Atmosphere is nice and the bartenders are very attentive. The decoration looks elegant and classy and they give you little snacks with your drinks. The bartenders call you by name which to me adds a more personal touch.

Yelp
Had a quick lunch at this bar and was lovely. An atmospheric, plush setting and dog friendly! Highly recommend the Mushroom flatbread, was just amazing!!!

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in Beverly Hills! It's traditional Peninsula style! They make everything just the way you want it. The customer service is impeccable, pretty much they never say "no" ! We love the chips and olives they bring us complimentary. I am always getting a spicy Cadillac margarita or a passion fruit martini which are always executed to perfection. The food menu has great options but you can always ask for the restaurant menu and they will also bring you food from there. It's a perfect place to go after dinner or after work ! I love the atmosphere here! The lights are very dim, kinda dark, mysterious! When we are meeting with friends for a drink we always suggest The Club Bar at the Peninsula! So I would definitely recommend this place with confidence !

Yelp
Daughter and I just wanted some cocktails and finger foods. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Parking is $10 for two hours with a validation (otherwise it is $10 for one hour). I had a bee's knees and it was one of the finest cocktails I've ever had. DD had a 90210 and that was delicious, too. I also ordered a prawn cocktail and DD a smoked salmon flatbread. We were both beyond ourselves as we enjoyed the cocktails and food. Ended with a slice of cheesecake topped with mixed berries and espressos. A thoroughly enjoyable late evening outing.

Yelp
The service is amazing! I have nothing but great thing to say about this place. The drinks and the view are wonderful. If I must say, I recommend the prawn cocktail and the mushroom flatbread! Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
We were here the night of the Stanley Cup final game and it was a lot of fun! The barflies are fun to watch and entertaining. Lots of people come through as it's by the entrance of the hotel. The decor is gorgeous and we would come back for more drinks. It is a timeless, classy, upscale bar (minus the old rich couple making out in the back sofa).
