Google
A great experience for a stag do hosted incredibly by Marnie. She was fantastically knowledgeable about the distillery and process, providing plenty of humour and insight throughout the tour. I've visited several distilleries and taken part in many tours and maintain that the host is a crucial element in ensuring that the experience stands out. Would highly recommend!

Google
Got a Tour of the distillery as a birthday gift. The tour takes about an hour and there's 3 or 4 quality malt whiskys to sample at the tasting session at the end of the tour. The production area and the small museum and Bar/Shop are all spotless clean. The young tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. A lovely 5 🌟 experience. Highly recommended.

Google
Nice and modern distillery. With tours being interactive and interesting, and of course tasty. 😊 Quite young distillery so limited selection of whisky, my favourite was the HMS Glasgow. In time the selection will be better of course, so I would do a new tour in some years. The guide was very friendly and generous. Videos and info banners and interior are modern and high quality! I was impressed! The location is just 2 stops and a little walk from Glasgow Central.

Google
Booked tour: Whisky and Chocolate. The tour only gives you a basic insight into the technical plant. Nevertheless, in retrospect it was an interesting experience, as the focus of the tour is obviously more on the whisky lifestyle. This became particularly clear during the tasting of the various whiskies and chocolate. Part of the tour is a small museum (which unfortunately came up far too short) as well as a guide who led the group with a lot of humor. The time flew by. The chocolate tour can definitely be recommended! If you are in the small visitor center long enough before the tour, you can also eat delicious (!) snacks there. The staff were friendly and supportive at all times.

Google
Very cool Scotch whisky distillery that opened around 2017. They sell their own brands (which are obviously no more than 8 years old), as well as a plethora of other great brands, some of which have been aged for 20+ years. We went for the tour which gave a great overview of the history of the building and the “why” of the business owners way ahead. The tour ends with a tasting which we enjoyed.

Google
The tour is 45min-1hr and there's 4(ish) whiskys to sample. They let us keep our tasting glass too which was a nice addition to the tour. I'd highly recommend!

Google
Joined the whisky and chocolate tour. Alastair was a fantastic guide. He explained everything clearly during the distillery visit and provided lots of interesting information during the whisky and chocolate tasting. He shared why and how each chocolate was paired with a specific whisky. Really enjoy this part. We tasted five different whiskies, each paired with a locally made chocolate. We received a free whisky glass as a souvenir at the end. The only downside was that the tour felt a bit rushed. There wasn’t enough time to read the historical displays in the Dockside Story area. It is not the tour guide fault. maybe the tour structure could be adjusted so guests have time to explore that section before the tour begins?

Google
Such a great experience to have a guided tour around the distillery. The guides had such an excellent knowledge of their products and whisky in general. The tastings were all very good too! Would 100% recommend a visit to The Clydeside Distillery!

Yelp
Morven was our tour guide and she gave us wonderful insights into the history of the distillery (it's one of Scotland's newest), the history of whisky making in Scotland in general and of course the fine points of how they do it here. At the end of the tour we had the opportunity to taste 3 distinctly different whiskys and she explained how and why they were so different. Very educational. And tasty.

Yelp
The tour was informative and affordable. You get 3-4 samples but omg the whiskey was like hand sanitizer! This is a new distillery so when I went their product had only been aged a few years. Maybe that's why? When we went to other spots like the Johnny walker distillery it was not nearly as bad so not sure what's up.

Yelp
We did the tour with a chocolate pairing with 5 whiskeys. Our guide was cool and informative and the whiskeys and chocolates were amazing. Cool young distillery.

Yelp
Stopped her to do tastings but you can't do it unless you do a tour which is 18.5 pounds each. We got two tastings at the cafe for a total of 9.5 pounds. Not necessarily the best we've tasted.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. They started distilling in 2017. I ordered the Stokehold flight of four for €19. It came with crackers, cheese, and a paste. It was absolutely phenomenal. The whiskey was delicious. The service was also on point.

Yelp
One of my favorite Distillery tours. The tour was so informative and interesting, covering everything from how whisky is made to the history of the Clydeside Distillery itself. Our tour guide was phenomenal, interacting with the whole group and even keeping the under 18 kids interested. Although I am not personally a whisky drinker, the tasting was still fun. We got to try 3 different samples which really did taste distinct. There was no pressure to finish the samples and the group atmosphere was great. We even got to keep our little tasting glass after the tour as a souvenir.

Yelp
The Clydeside Distillery was such a fun experience! We came on a Sunday afternoon for the chocolate and whiskey tasting, and it was unique, informative, and delicious! We booked the tour for three people, but one of the people in our party was not able to make it at the last minute. They were so accommodating and were able to get us a tasting box to go for the third person! The tour was fun, and in February at 4:30, we were touring the distillery right at sunset which made the tour of the copper stills even more beautiful. The chocolates were delicious and it really brought a fun, new level to a traditional whiskey tasting. I personally am not a huge whiskey person, so the chocolates made it more beginner friendly for me! And my husband, who loves whiskey, thought that it was interesting to see how the whiskey interacted with the chocolate flavors. Our tour guide was Andy, and he did a fantastic job! Could not recommend enough!

Yelp
I have been on a lot of Distillery tours, but this would be on the top of my list. The chocolate and whisky pairing is excellent! It is 100% worth your money and time. David was my tour guide and he was so nice and incredibly knowledgeable and informative. The other staff at the cafe are also so nice and helpful. I had a warm welcome from the second I walked in the door. I did the distillery and whisky and chocolate pairing. The whisky was smooth and something even for those who aren't typically whisky drinkers. The chocolates were perfectly curated and some of the best chocolates I've ever had! These chocolates are specially made for this tour and are only available on this tour. I think this would be a great tour for you especially if you are new to Scotch whisky. This was a gorgeous new facility. Everything was clean and sleek in design. I believe this is a must if you are visiting Glasgow.

Yelp
Great tour! Rodney was a great guide and the videos were interesting when we did the self guided portions.

Yelp
Visiting the Clydeside was a very enjoyable experience. The whiskey and the atmosphere were first rate but it was the hospitality provided by the Distillery Manager, Alistair McDonald, and our tour guide, David, that made our visit truly memorable.

Yelp
Had a lazy lunch at the café. Tried all the flights. The oatcakes, cheese, and chutney were excellent for clearing in between tastes. Really interesting choices for the flights not your average big distillery filler stuff. Service was amazing. The soup of the day was great and went really well with the different flights. Loved it.

Yelp
Lovely setting by the River Clyde with optional tour. We popped in to the restaurant for a sandwich and flight. Just a lovely place! Yummy sandwich and soup combos. Not inexpensive, but worth what you pay for. Their whisky is in casks still, expected to be bottled in 2020.

Yelp
It's a young distillery, but a great way to learn about scotch whisky! Especially if you're in Glasgow.

Yelp
Cool distillery in a historic building. We did the scotch and chocolate tasting. Very cool tour that includes some local history, history of scotch, and a lot of info about the distilling process. Is it the best scotch in Scotland? Probably not, but the tour was fun and our guide was very knowledgable. Had a nice little cafe and a large gift shop to purchase different scotch as well as bottle your own cask whiskey yourself which was neat.

Yelp
Lovely lunch here today. I am loving the option of cheese and cranberry or chutney sandwiches while I'm visiting Scotland. The version I had of this today - Tain cheddar, chutney, and watercress on fresh-baked brown bread-was no exception. I also had a cup of cream of carrot soup that was very tasty. My husband had a salmon and cream cheese sandwich with a cup of cream of pea soup and equally enjoyed his meal. They had a nice selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and of course several scotches. We had a flight of scotch that was nicely curated with a variety of tastes. All in all a nice experience with very friendly staff.

Yelp
We visited the distillery over Christmas and had a great time. We were between the ages of 24-76, some whiskey lovers some not, and all of us enjoyed the cafe, tour and tasting. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere, I wished we'd come a bit earlier to have a wee drink before the tour cause they have a great selection. Our tour guide Erin was really knowledgeable about the history of the area, which was great for my parents who are from Glasgow. The tour was informative, well organized and fun, Erin got the group talking to each other and having a laugh. She did a good job explaining the different types of whiskey in the tasting room and giving us time to ask questions. Their own whiskey isn't available yet, but if the enthusiasm of the employees we interacted with is anything to go by then their own product will be impressive. Highly recommend a visit, but allow yourself time for a drink and a walk around the well stocked shop.

Yelp
My son and I came across this distillery on our walk from our AirBnB to the Maritime Museum. We entered as it looked nice, and we spontaneously booked a tour. The tour was great, and this is such a beautiful distillery right above the Clyde river. There is also a nice museum, and a great coffee shop with food. The only drawback was that there was no Whiskey from them yet as it needs to be stored 3 years and 1 day, and they just recently opened. They did have a tasting of 3 other whiskeys which was nice! Oh, and the kids get a science lesson, and soda at the end.
