Had the most amazing stay at the Coach House last week. We stayed here the evening before my wedding and it was fabulous. Zoe was brilliant and really took care of us during our stay! The garden area was so beautiful to relax in with a drink. We even did some bouquet making on the table outside! The decor of every room was beautiful and the whole place had a lovely feel about it. Definitely want to come back in future! Thanks to everyone for our stay it was great!

We recently spent two nights at the Coach House, with our adult children and their partners joining us for one night. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were comfortable and quirky, the garden was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The ‘on the house’ chocolate brownies were scrumptious. We had a great stay here.

I stayed at The Coach House for a week earlier this year, during a trip home to visit family and friends. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and I had a fantastic stay. I stayed in one of the old stable rooms, which had a small private patio and a pond. The room was clean, comfortable, and especially lovely with the French doors open and the sunshine streaming in. The included breakfast was delicious and flexible, with options like lactose-free milk, eggs cooked to order, and a selection of cereals. There was also a nice range of fixed items on the menu to choose from. Tea, coffee, and juice rounded out the drinks. The Full English was a standout and set me up perfectly for the day. Next time I visit Derby, I will definitely stay at The Coach House again. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Coach House, can't praise it enough. The room was amazing and had everything we needed, including electric fan! Welcome on arrival was really warm and helpful as had been my communication with the team prior to arrival about where to eat locally. Location was perfect for wedding venue we were attending. Breakfast choice and quality was great. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Spent two nights at The Coach House with my husband. The team were very welcoming, helpful and flexible. The public rooms were really nice and our room was lovely - spacious, stylish and comfortable with good facilities. To top it all, we had a beautiful little private garden! Shared outside space was also very well thought out and attractive. Breakfast was delicious. Parking wasn't a problem. Overall an excellent stay, I would highly recommend.

My parents got married in May at The Coach House. The venue and team made a very special day incredible. Great communication up to the day, multiple visits beforehand and conversations from over 300 miles away. The ceremony was perfect. There were plenty of food choices for the set menu and it was delicious on the day. The room looked beautiful throughout. Some music and plenty of drinks from a cute well stocked little bar. Every guest said how much they enjoyed themselves (there was twenty six of us) and what a friendly environment it was. The garden looked full of colour and naturally stunning. Nothing was to much trouble and we'd definitely recommend. ||Special thanks to Kimberly, Zoe, the lad behind the bar (forgotten his name due to all the cocktails!) and anyone else working behind the scenes! ||A great choice for a small, intermediate wedding 💒

Cannot thank the coach house enough for going above and beyond. We recently booked the coach house for the night before and of our wedding and so glad we did! On the run up to the wedding there was nothing the team wouldn’t do to help, early check in added to the booking for a small fee, taxi and food recommendations, cots in rooms etc. We had the stables the night before the wedding, everything was immaculate and we used the dining room to have a lovely chill dinner. Breakfast the following morning was continental platters brought to the room while we got ready and were delicious! The team bent over backwards to help, coordinating suppliers, checking we had everything we needed. They helped with guests parking / collecting keys before we went over to our wedding. Absolute bonus to have the stunning gardens and outside are for some beautiful pictures. We then booked all 6 rooms for the night of the wedding for additional family. Rooms were swiftly turned over and left immaculately clean. Breakfast the following morning (hot breakfast in the dining room) was amazing, great selection so something for everyone. The little bar area with fresh milk and brownies was an absolute bonus! Thanks again to all the team at the coach house, we hope to be back again soon! Highly recommend to all, whether you have little ones or are a couple, staying for a big event or just a much needed night away.

We stayed at The Coach House for a friend’s wedding at The West Mill. The location was perfect for this, just a 10 minute drive away. Hosts are 5* friendly and accommodating. It was a really warm weekend but the room had a great fan in there, generally all the facilities are above and beyond. We asked for a cot to be in our room for our baby which was arranged no problem. Breakfast was delicious and high quality. We’d love to stay again!

We have stayed at the Coach House many times over the last few years and we love it! The owners Carol and Zoe are really friendly and immediately make you feel welcome. Indeed it is more like being at home than at a B & B! The full English breakfast is excellent. The house is well-positioned for both a stay in Derby and as a base for exploring the wonderful Derbyshire countryside. We would recommend it wholeheartedly. Paul & Gail.
