Had the most amazing stay at the Coach House last week. We stayed here the evening before my wedding and it was fabulous. Zoe was brilliant and really took care of us during our stay! The garden area was so beautiful to relax in with a drink. We even did some bouquet making on the table outside! The decor of every room was beautiful and the whole place had a lovely feel about it. Definitely want to come back in future! Thanks to everyone for our stay it was great!

We recently spent two nights at the Coach House, with our adult children and their partners joining us for one night. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were comfortable and quirky, the garden was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The ‘on the house’ chocolate brownies were scrumptious. We had a great stay here.

We stayed here for two nights as my daughter was getting married nearby. The room was clean and decorated nicely. All the information needed was emailed in advance. The court yard was lovely with seating under a gazebo. Cushions and blankets along with lighting so we could chill out together with the bride to be and all the bridesmaids. Breakfast was great a lovely choice of food. Service was good and the food was quickly cooked. I cannot fault the coach house and would happily recommend it.

We stayed at The Coach House for a friend’s wedding at The West Mill. The location was perfect for this, just a 10 minute drive away. Hosts are 5* friendly and accommodating. It was a really warm weekend but the room had a great fan in there, generally all the facilities are above and beyond. We asked for a cot to be in our room for our baby which was arranged no problem. Breakfast was delicious and high quality. We’d love to stay again!

The room was lovely, the photos don’t really do it justice, the decor created a serenely spacious, comfortable atmosphere, the furnishings were good quality, and it was well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Homemade granola and fruit compote made it stand out for me, as did the excellent scrambled eggs (I didn’t try the rest of the cooked breakfast but it looked good. The garden is very sweet and the sunny sitting area and indoor lounge very inviting. The service is warm and professional. Altogether very good value for money. I would definitely return.

I stayed at The Coach House for a week earlier this year, during a trip home to visit family and friends. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and I had a fantastic stay. I stayed in one of the old stable rooms, which had a small private patio and a pond. The room was clean, comfortable, and especially lovely with the French doors open and the sunshine streaming in. The included breakfast was delicious and flexible, with options like lactose-free milk, eggs cooked to order, and a selection of cereals. There was also a nice range of fixed items on the menu to choose from. Tea, coffee, and juice rounded out the drinks. The Full English was a standout and set me up perfectly for the day. Next time I visit Derby, I will definitely stay at The Coach House again. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Coach House, can't praise it enough. The room was amazing and had everything we needed, including electric fan! Welcome on arrival was really warm and helpful as had been my communication with the team prior to arrival about where to eat locally. Location was perfect for wedding venue we were attending. Breakfast choice and quality was great. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Spent two nights at The Coach House with my husband. The team were very welcoming, helpful and flexible. The public rooms were really nice and our room was lovely - spacious, stylish and comfortable with good facilities. To top it all, we had a beautiful little private garden! Shared outside space was also very well thought out and attractive. Breakfast was delicious. Parking wasn't a problem. Overall an excellent stay, I would highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Coach House many times over the last few years and we love it! The owners Carol and Zoe are really friendly and immediately make you feel welcome. Indeed it is more like being at home than at a B & B! The full English breakfast is excellent. The house is well-positioned for both a stay in Derby and as a base for exploring the wonderful Derbyshire countryside. We would recommend it wholeheartedly. Paul & Gail.
