The Cobblestone Inn

Sadly, not all that we had hoped for. This place has definitely seen better times. A real pity. Bedroom rather tired. Windows do not seal, broken glass with hole in one pane. Let in a lot of sound of staff chatting in courtyard. Floor rather gritty when we arrived. Bed comfy! Bathroom occasionally smelt of drains - can not isolate from bedroom. A ‘judicious’ amount of silicone sealant seems to have been the ‘fix all’ remedy over the years. Toilet seat only partially connected to the bowl. Water supply failed on one occasion. The restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch (on some days breakfast only) - this is a major issue as very few other eating options in the surrounding area in the evening. In fact, no options on a Sunday except KFC! A pity really as a small amount of spending would go a long way to improving guests experience. A redeeming feature was the super helpful day time receptionist.

I spent six nights at the Cobblestone Inn whilst visiting Kingstown on a historical quest.|Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, I had the full breakfast each day. My room well furnished large and clean. Well appointed bathroom. Basil's bar and restaurant on the ground floor, not part of the hotel, serves excellent food for very good value. Only drawback was the bedroom ,being at the front of the building with very intrusive traffic noise. I found ear plugs essential. Suggested secondary double glazing might help.

+ Good location in the center, spacious room, big comfortable bed, teapot, tea, nice environment;- The receptionist didn't proceed with proper diligence while collecting the payment, compromising a credit card;- If a neigbour flashing the toilet, the sound breaks in the room. Every three mornings it woke me up. Sound isolation is a must.+ Other receptionist was helpful and nice, thanks for the service.

Arrived at the Cobblestone Inn in the evening after long flights, endless delays etc. from San Francisco. I was so tired that I didn't realize until early the next morning that I'd been given a room directly facing the busy main street; loud traffic starting at 6am woke me up and prevented further sleep. I fail to understand what motivated the manager at the time, knowing my situation, to put me in this noisy room instead of a quiet room where I could actually sleep in the next morning. The hotel itself was not busy and very few guests were around – there were plenty of vacant rooms available, as I discovered the next day. Furnishing in this noisy room was adequate but the lighting was poor and a lamp was broken. The room felt like it hadn't been used for months or even years and was completely unlike the glossy pics you see here. The rooftop restaurant was unfortunately closed the evening I arrived and the next morning.

A/C & Cable Tv in each room an so nice. Would recommend to anyone. Ask for special discounted room if its available.

The restaurant was very dark and you had to go outside in the alleyway to reach the bathroom service was good. Our waitress was very helpful.

A great option in the middle of town for those coming on business or wanting to explore their small and quaint town. This hotel provides you with all the amenities you need, also equipped with a rooftop restaurant and bar for all of your meals. The ladies at the front desk are always pleasant and courteous.

The Cobblestone Inn I must say is far by the worst place I ever stayed at The only good thing about here is it's location only if one is attending carnival nothing else Hot and cold water was not working good, half the room had no electricity by the second night, we woke up to a cockroache watching us one morning, we killed it and it was left there even after the room was cleaned, no clean towels, not even a microwave breakfast was expensive and wasn't worth it. I would never recommend The cobblestone to anyone
