The Coconut Inn

Great breakfast. Slightly off the tourist/beachside beaten path, but barely. We had a rental car, and it was near lots of fun things. Room had a private patio with table & chairs, plus small kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Pool was clean and refreshing, with lots of seating and shaded spots. Very good breakfast with 3 kinds of eggs, potatoes, meat, fruit, bread, sweets, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and sweet tea.

Liked the pool, the turtle artwork on the side of the building, and the lights at night. This is a very basic hotel, no frills, and it’s about a 30 minute walk to Palm beach. I chose this place because I was on a budget so wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but clean and it had a balcony. I enjoyed interacting with the 2 resident cats and the rooster. Breakfast was a bonus and it changed slightly every day. One day they made a very nice chocolate cake. A 2 minute walk from the hotel there is a Chinese restaurant and snack store. Other than that it is a very residential area. Walking back to the hotel from the beach there is a short curved section of the road with no lights. Be sure to use the flashlight on your cell phone here at night as cars go by and may not see you otherwise. Although this hotel is far from the beach, it is still walkable and has a nice pool so I would book it again if I am on a budget.

So the hotel is definitely in a perfect location not far from all of the live areas ,shopping and restaurants. The grounds are kept nicely and clean the pool is small good for kids , the rooms were clean and comfortable but I did not like that U cannot lock the door once you are in your room it locks automatically from the outside but no reinforcement or security from the inside. The water pressure was very low in the shower and bathroom sink and the TV in my room didn't work i went to the desk about it everyday and no one came to fix it. They have breakfast in the mornings , not so great but something to get your day started. And they have parking on the grounds. Despite the little discrepancies I would stay here again

Positive: The bed was better than we expected. Breakfast was good for the price. Place was clean. It is not luxury, but we knew that going in. Negative: It was further from the beach then we'd like, but for what area hotel prices were, this is a budget friendly way to be in Aruba. A taxi the beach area was $11-13 depending on time so for the cost of room to just have a safe place to sleep, it was great.

Nice little hotel, not close from the beaches , 15 min walk, we felt safe traveling everyday from hotel till the beaches.|Make sure you are getting a flashlight on at night though. |Breakfast was awseome.|Nice friendly staff.|||The big down was the front desk. We asked around 9 am to get a taxi for 11:15am to the airport. She said yes yes I will get that for you. I went to double check with her at 11am to be sure. |11:15 obviously no one shows up. 11:30 still no one. That was very stressful...||Customer service = 0||Just be aware I you need a taxi don't count on them. Manage it by yourself||Overall great experience in that little hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms are not only huge but also impeccably clean, featuring comfortable king-size beds. The cold air conditioning provided a refreshing retreat after a day of exploring. The staff, especially Stefanie at the front desk, went above and beyond. She not only assisted us in renting a car but also recommended incredible excursions.||The breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious regular American spread. Meeting Paul, the chef, was a pleasure, as he consistently delivered fantastic breakfast experiences every day. The pool, meticulously maintained by Roderick, was a pristine oasis. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return for another enjoyable stay.

Positive: It was a little walk away from the high rise hotels and the shopping areas in Palm Beach. However, it is an ideal area for a quuet and peaceful vacation. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and the food is good. Negative: ""

The pictures do not do justice for this inn. It was such a cute, nice and clean inn. The room was very spacious and they cleaned it every day. It had a nice little kitchenette with a stove top, sink, nice size fridge, microwave and cups/plates/bowls/utensils. Our room also had a little balcony facing the pool. The breakfast was very delicious as well and better then I was expecting. We would totally stay here again!
