This was such a cool evening. It was the first time going to the resort. The staff was amazing the view was beautiful. We ate at Beverly’s and it was awesome, not a fan of the mashed potatoes though tasted like boxed potatoes. Everything else was awesome! Highly recommend!

Google
The customer service is outstanding. My mom and sister came for a birthday and they prepared everything perfectly and we got a room overlooking the lake. We were impressed by the flowers, food and staff. It’s such a lovely resort and we so enjoy staying there. (Personally, we adores eye seasonal decor and ambiance making the environment so special).

Our stay at the Coeur d’Alene Resort was absolutely unforgettable! We booked the Hot Winter Nights package, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel like VIPs. The perfectly prepared room and the thoughtful amenities made our stay extra special. The package itself was a dream come true—relaxing heated pool under the stars, cozy tents for changing, and luxurious accommodations made even the coldest nights feel warm and inviting. The staff at the bar were friendly and in great spirits. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the shuttle ride to the pool, robes and towels in heated areas, to the excellent service from the bar. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with kindness and professionalism, the service was flawless. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. If you're looking for the perfect winter escape, the Hot Winter Nights package at the Coeur d’Alene Resort is a must! We can't recommend it highly enough.

I have been coming here for decades and it’s one of our favorite places to stay. Unfortunately they don’t do military discount anymore and the young gal who took our reservation was off putting and has poor bedside manner. You should train your front desk workers to be polite. We stayed on June 21, 2025.

Our experience here was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The booking process online was intuitive. And the moment we walked through the door Payton greeted us with a welcoming smile. He helped us through the entire check in process while Nathan answered every question we had about amenities and our stay. The two of them absolutely made our stay better and the room was beautiful with an amazing view. I truly cannot recommend this place enough and it deserves 5 stars for every aspect of the room, staff, and amenities. I absolutely recommend staying here, and speaking with Payton or Nathan at the front desk for friendly helpful service. My experience here was truly incredible, and beyond what I had hoped for. I will be back 😊

Google
Sadly our first and last visit. Our $379.00 a night room was circa 1990, with no fan in the bathroom and a small sunken living room. Just NOTHING special about it. The TV was angled hanging on the wall, had to keep adjusting it. The view was great. We checked in and were told nothing other, than our room number. After going back and forth several times to the concierge and spending an extra 10$ on parking to run to the store, we were told they should have told us about the parking not needing validating and using our key card instead. 🤦‍♀️ We had a cocktail in the restaurant and were charged for one Double and one single, we only asked for and received singles, but the service was so slow, we didn’t care to wait for the server to come back to tell her and it wasn’t busy.

Google
Was there with family, so we did the 2 double bed room. As a 6 foot plus man, the room was not accommodating. The shower was the only thing that was great about the bathroom. They have double doors to access the shower and toilet area. I had to enter that sideways. The lake room view is amazing, the location to downtown, great. The restaurant service was awesome. This was my second visit here, and I don't know if there will be a third.

Google
Beautiful location on the lake. Close to the strip and lots of beautiful areas to hike and walk. We did the boat rental and it was awesome. Four hours was enough time to get down to Harrison and spend some time walking around and make it back. Everything was beautiful.

Yelp
Overview: Older but great resort on Lake Cor d'Alene. Excellent service but very dated rooms. Arrival: Drove from Spokane. Easy drive, and good valet staff. Check-in: Very polite and efficient check-in process. Room (1668): Beautiful lake view room with fire place and small patio. King bed, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, desk, sitting area, etc. Spacious room but everything is very dated and minds me of cutting edge in the 1990s. Bathroom: Nice size with tub and separate shower. Separate dual vanities. Bed: Decent king bed Sleep quality: Sound insulation could be better. Our room neighbors came in late and woke us up making noise on the way to their room. Housekeeping: excellent Overall staff service: excellent Parking: on-site valet or self-parking, both for a fee. Restaurants: Beverly's for dinner is great, and the early bird special is a great value.

Yelp
This hotel is right on Coeur d'Alene lake and has great views! This hotel also allows pets. I wasn't a huge fan of pets roaming the lobby and was concerned the room would be gross, while the rooms are dated they were clean. Checkin: we arrived by car and the valets were super busy. They were not too happy that we wanted to do self park. They did not like we wanted to check in first and then park. The check-in was super fast and easy. Parking garage: The spaces are tight and some spaces are just plain ridiculous, but floors 3 and higher is self park and we were able to find a spot higher up where you did not have to worry about your door being damaged. Service: Employees are all very nice, helpful, and aim to make your experience good here. Elevator: one elevator to your room is modern and easy to use, but if you get the older elevator with the weird keypad, you need to use the keypad and not push the numbers on the billboard on the wall. It is confusing and be prepared to get stuck going up/down the floors until you figure out the system. Room:1668 has a lovely view of the lake. It has a King size bed with nice luxurious linens, nice pillows, and the quality of the bed was good. The sleep quality depends on your neighbors. I could hear them coming into their rooms late and waking me up. The rooms are dated and the carpet either needs a super deep cleaning or they need to be ripped out. The room has a nice chair, chaise lounge, desk area, fire place, and outside patio with chairs to go and enjoy the lovely views. The furniture is dated, not the most comfortable, but you have these extra seating. The desk is too high for the chair and working at the table is uncomfortable. The bed with the mounted TV makes relaxing before bed very nice. Room has a nice Keurig coffee machine and the best coffee pods that I have ever had. Got a few extra to enjoy coffee and the view in my room. Their is a mini fridge, so if you want to get some goodies in town before arriving you can store them. The fridge did not get super cold, but it worked to keep my yogurt cold. We skipped breakfast at the resort and brought yougurt and snacks. There is an in-room safe in the closet for your things. The room also has plenty of plugs to charge all your devices. Bathroom: Two sinks that have nice amenities. The sink area is dark and dungeon like, but surprisingly the lighting was perfect for applying makeup. There is a nice steel tub that isn't too deep but I was able to get a nice soak. The shower is nice and big enough to have a refreshing shower after your soak in the tub. A bonus is their is a ice machine right by the elevator and there is a water filling station too. This was a nice bonus to be able to get filtered water during our stay. The floating boardwalk around the hotel was nice leisure walk. We ate at Beverly's while we were here. The main restaurant was booked solid and we were allowed to eat at the bar. The tables are tiny and the area fills up, so arrive before 5pm to get a spot. We also saw on Beverly's website a pre fixe dinner at $30 a person for 3 courses. But you must arrive before 5:30pm to enjoy this. I highly recommend to check their website to see if they have a special because the restaurant did not tell us about we, we had to bring it up. The food was surprisingly delicious.

Yelp
Stopped by The Lobby Cafe inside the resort while waiting on our Coeur d'Alene Christmas lights cruise. My family got hot tea and enjoyed the flavor and taste of their tea. I chose a beautiful pink macaron that was actually peppermint flavored. I initially thought this was a Starbucks as they look like one and serve the Starbucks branded drinks. However they have an extensive menu and variety of items! They have plenty of drinks including lobby beverages. Cbd sodas, cut water alcohol, juice, salad, pastries, sandwiches, and much more. I loved the variety. The pink macaron caught my eye and was delightful. I usually dislike macarons as I've only had bad ones with weird texture that are hard and gooey. The texture in this was the perfect bite of soft but flaky and so flavorful. I offered my family a bite and was happy when they said no. I finished this dessert in less than 3 minutes it was too tasty! Would definitely recommend the lobby cafe in the resort.

Yelp
My wife and I stay here every Christmas and it is such a magical place for kids. We did the Santa cruise to the North Pole and all the staff are super friendly. My kids love the koi fish tank and they really decorate well for Christmas including lights all over the marina walk. I've done the igloos for dinner and that is a must experience for the area, especially if you can catch the sunset as well as lights. The hotel itself is from the 80's and you can tell with some of the angles and designs but they have done a good job keeping it up. Also rent boats in the summer which is a little spendy but so much fun.

Yelp
Beautiful place. Enjoyed my stay and will probably come back. Seems to be a pretty layed back community.

Yelp
The Coeur D Alene Resort is the premier gem of the Idaho panhandle. Just 30 miles east of Spokane, WA, this four season resort offers amazing views of pristine Lake Coeur D Alene and the surrounding area. Nestled on the shores of the town of Coeur D Alene my new husband and I enjoyed a lake tower room with amazing amenities and a sweeping view of this 30 mile long lake. Our dinner at Beverly's restaurant was A hot rock filet mignon, cooked exactly to our liking. Our balcony was warmed by the sun and invited us to share a glass of wine overlooking the marina. A short distance away is the berth of the Mish-an-Nock, a cruise ship that offers frequent scenic cruises on the lake. The Dockside restaurant is famous for family friendly dining and did not disappoint. Evening entertainment is offered, last night featuring a duo with instrumentals and amazing harmonies. Outside the big screen viewed Back to the Future. There is so much to enjoy including a world famous golf course with the signature floating green. Nearby hikes and lazy drives along the shoreline plus shopping in the quaint little town should satisfy every member of the family.

Yelp
As a local person and was always proud of the Coeur d alene hotel,it is very disappointing to see your prices are going up and your quality is trending down food and beverage management is next to impossible to find,if you have a question u deal with an inexperienced hostage,we had two lunch reservations the last two weeks 4 guests and got sat at a table to small for two,the first reservation we were lucky a Waiter helped us,the second res was a birthday party,a very friendly but totally inexperienced hostage just told us that's all we have, needles to say not the most welcoming experience, management was not available to even check on our table,it is sad to see that your sister. Hotel has a better rating than our crown jewel of CDA I will never again recommend your hotel to any of my out of town guests thank you

Yelp
I'm reviewing the spa specifically. Came here to spend my birthday with my husband and had a disappointing experience. We both got a salon service, me a pedicure and him a manicure. My pedicure was messy when finished and when I asked for just a plain white color, she explained to me there's two options for white but to not pick the bright white because it's streaky and looks yellow (why have it then?). So I chose the off white like she recommended and I removed it 6 days later myself to do them better at home. The white polish was already turning grey and chipped (seems like both optioned sucked lol, wish I got that heads up if she was so honest.) My robe had a hole in it but I just kindly asked for another and was able to switch it out. The hair dryers/straightener in the locker rooms were worse than ones at a thrift store. lady at check out desk was snarky and pretty rude. Been to other spas, this has nothing on any of them. It gave motel 8 vibe. I definitely do not consider this a luxury spa, unfortunately.

Yelp
The location & setting helps set the tone for your expectations. The suites were comfortable & well appointed. Small balcony affords guests with views of the lake & surrounding area. This large resort doubles as the local convention/conference hotel with a separate area for large gatherings. As the name suggests the comfort offerings are wide -- sauna, spa, nice shops, excellent five-star restaurant, dockside dining and access to boat tours. I don't golf -- but I'm assuming the dozen limo quality sprinter vans parked out front are heavily used to move people around to their designated adventure zones. Our medium sized group that arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday experienced a two hour delay in accessing our suites. The staff seemed dedicated to making the inconveniences as buffered as possible. Overall a high quality experience.

Yelp
My husband and I had a great staycation at this resort! We found everything from the room to the staff and service to be wonderful. We had a lake view room with a fireplace that was spacious, cozy and clean. We reserved an igloo in the evening and the service, food and ambiance were all top notch! We returned with our kids before Christmas and were blown away by the opportunities available to make the holiday extra magical for our Littles. The North Pole cruise, story time and carols in the lobby, cookie and milk delivery to your room by elves - we found the resort to be exceptional and we would highly recommend it to anyone who asked!

Yelp
A beautiful location and resort! Unfortunately the quality of the food is not on par to match the level of the resort. We were looking forward to sitting in the restrauant and enjoying the view. But the beautiful view is blocked by the heavy volume of blue boat dock tents. You could not enjoy the view, which was disappointing and surprising. But, you can experience an excellent view from the parking garage! I'm not trying to be funny, the view is really great from the garage. :)

Yelp
One of my all time favorite places to visit! Love staycations here! Great service, delicious food and beautiful views

Yelp
I booked a reservation for 1 night, then decided to stay an extra day so I booked another night on a separate reservation. I didn't think it would be an issue combining the 2 reservations but they told me I have to check out at 11am and check back in at 4pm for my new room. & My room has windows that open to a wall. $400/night for this? I'll stay at the Marriott next time.

Yelp
My daughter booked this for us as a Mother's Day gift to me (but a few weeks after). She paid extra for the city/mountain view. I arrived before my daughter and when I saw the room, I was underwhelmed. The interior was dated, the bathroom shower was very cool BUT there was corrosion on the shower head, the shower floor was slippery, the paint was a faded yellow. The pocket door was dumb. Such a pain in the butt to open and close. There were stains under the sink. The mirror was lighted and really nice but why no fan? ew. Bed was comfortable but there were lights in the headboard that didn't work or we had no idea how. The view. Ugh. We're on the third floor. You know what you see on the third floor? The roof of the second floor. There was no view. We saw trees in the distance and a park. Heard cheering from the dock we couldn't see. And the condo down the street under construction with the crane. yay. Beautiful. Not. My daughter went to the front desk to remind them that we had paid extra for the view. "Yep. That is a view room". I'd hate to see the non-view room. The service was bad. The rooms are overpriced. And the food selection is meh. BUT the spa is phenomena. Book somewhere else for less and then reserve a spa appt. Worth every penny and the service there is wonderful.

Yelp
Why does this resort have such low reviews? we're from Bellevue and the driving was totally worth it. Let's face it, not much to see in Idaho but if you have one day only...definitely make a pit stop to Coeur D'Arlene. And definitely book with the resort! Service - we checked in late around 9:45pm but there was still a guy at the desk smiling and offering us a late check out since we got there so late. He couldn't extend it more than an hour though because the next day was fully booked (Friday). Also, on our last day for some reason the hot water turned cold. I wanted to shower before check out and they said I could leave my stuff with concierge and then go to the spa to use the shower facility. It was such a beautiful spa and I definitely felt pampered even though I didn't get a service or treatment there. Cleanliness - so the hotel rooms are really really clean. Like, even to the point where after the cleaning ladies have turned over the room and it's done cleaning, they'll post a sticker tape thing by the door to prove that no one else has gone into the room after the cleaning!!! Also remember those annoying "do not disturb" door knob signs that always fall off the doorknob? well you don't even have to deal with those anymore! They have cute little neon signs right outside your door and you just push the button to say "cleaning" when it needs to be cleaned! Then it' lights up so cleaning peeps know whether to come in or not. Genius! Amenities - Okay so this is like the best part and I'm giving you a pro tip. Don't do the $40 cruise. Just take the free water taxi the resort offers which takes you to a private beach/golf course!!! Also paddle boarding was super fun there and only $20 for an hour. So much cheaper than Bellevue/Seattle. No transportation? Well, they give you FREE bike rentals so you can bike through downtown and along the trails. It's amazing! My only knock off for the star is because they do charge you parking per day...it's like $20. I think it should be free for guests or significantly reduced. That's my only complaint. Restaurants within the resort pretty decent too and the resort literally connects to a shopping plaza. Nice!!! You can literally just spend the day here and it would be maximized for sure.

Yelp
The Coeur d'Alene Resort was a breath of fresh air with excellent service modern design lots of amenities and a great view. We were pleasantly surprised to see what a great hotel. We didn't need to leave the premises for anything except for a lovely walk around the jetty. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and had a fantastic view. Our bed was comfortable, our room quiet and we appreciated the quiet close doors! We had dinner and drinks, and they were great. The staff were friendly, personable & knowledgeable and service was excellent - it's fab to see a resort that is well staffed these days and the staff are happy at their work! Service & attention to detail makes a property great - so we'll done!

Yelp
Just got here. Called and discussed prices, and was 2 minutes away, so I told person, I would just go in and book. I was pleasantly surprised, as I hadn't been back in over 20 years. I went in to book and prices were over $100 more. Disappointed, but took a room as we had traveled over 8 hours. Found out later, there was an additional charges for 2nd night. No one told me the rate went up from Monday night to Tuesday night. Also, no one told me of the incidental charge. I'm not opposed to paying higher fees, as I just spent $700 a night in Jackson Hole, I would just be prefer to be treated respectfully and not be told one thing, then told something else, and then be charged something else. Very frustrating!

Yelp
Very beautiful resort! The views are amazing! Room is very nice as well and super convenient location. I would recommend more winter activities!

Undefined U.

Yelp
Every employee went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Facilities could use a update for the prices. Definitely cater to corporations where company is actually paying the bill. Advertise 6-7 restaurants but ACTUALLY only 2. All others are off resort ! The Cedars $62 filet has a SALAD BAR !! havent seen this since 1990. Dont even offer a dinner salad ! poor. PARK tower is really PARKING GARAGE VIEW tower. Be honest for these prices. 4 star resort with 5 star prices

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel this week. We opted for the cheapest room because we planned to spend our entire day at the private beach the resort has (which was ABSOLUTELY perfect)! Our room totally exceeded our expectation! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We're planning on staying again next summer!

Yelp
Had a nice weekend stay here! The rooms seem a bit dated, with the sunken living rooms and mirror headboards definitely screaming the 80's, but everything was clean and the views from the lake tower rooms are fabulous! We really enjoyed our dinner at Beverly's. The breakfast at Dockside was just ok, nothing spectacular. Great location right on the water and close to all the cute downtown shops. The views are what made the stay magical.

Yelp
We had a king room in the Lake Tower and loved.it! Corner with a stunning view had me not wanting to leave at all...weird when I typically just use a hotel room for rest and sleep. I liked the little balcony too with a couple chairs and small table for enjoying the view and sunset. We had 3 of us in the room (two adults and a 12 year old) which was disclosed at the time of booking. We were given a king room in the Lake Tower as it was "nicer." It worked well for us and we got some extra bedding for her to make up the couch. I was shocked the king room was advertised as sleeping 5. Cots and air mattresses are also available but I don't know where you would set one up. When I called earlier that week the person I spoke with said you can't sleep 5 in those rooms...so why advertise that?! Why 4 stars? There were many inconsistencies in this hotel. Oh, and to start, it was confusing to walk in and not know where to check in. We found the area but it didn't really look like a typical "front desk" so we asked if we were in the right place. The person we worked with for us checked in much earlier than expected which was amazing and so appreciated. She said there was no couch in the room...and maybe she meant no "pull-out couch" so we asked for an air mattress. It was not necessary as we had soemthing I would consider a couch in the room. The air mattress did arrive but we had to ask for extra bedding for it as none was provided. This didn't make a lot of sense as who would sleep on a bare blowup mattress? We were traveling with friends and one was given a terrible room. Even the employees acknowledged it was one of the worst rooms and yet it was a fight to move rooms. So. When you reserve and check-in just know to clarify you don't want a room by the pool. I forget the actual room number but I made sure to say "please no room ____" and the gal working with us smirked and said we are definitely not in that room ;) The bed was comfortable, rooms very clean. I also loved our little window seat...nice added detail in a corner room! Hotel was very walkable with a huge park nearby and lots of places to explore along the lake. Some great restaurants as well! This hotel does have a shuttle to/from GEG/Spokane Int'l but it's $80 per person. Our group of 3 opted for Lyft which also added up but we still saved and had great experiences with our drivers. For two people it would be a toss up which option is more cost effective but the shuttle does need to be booked in advance. I was charged for parking and relieved I physically checked out at the front desk. We were able to show we used Lyft from GEG and did not have a car. I think it probably went with the group rate we were under. Regardless, I was relieved it was a quick fix.

Yelp
This resort delivered more than I expected. Upon arrival, the parking garage is connected to the resort so you don't have to walk outside in the rain or cold. Check-in was done via online prior to arriving so it's a quick room key pickup at the front desk. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I'll circle back to this later. The rooms were massive. Essentially every room is a suite. Large walk in bathrooms, dual sinks, reasonable closet size with everything you need; robes, hangars, safe, etc. Mini fridge, complimentary bottled water, TV, desk for work, and essentially a living room below the bed area. The room had an expansive balcony as well. It was cold so I didn't use it but would be great on a summer night. I didn't care for the provided shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. It's not a great scent as I prefer luxury toiletries but that's subjective. Recommend bringing your own. The shower pressure was good. Based on the finishes of everything else I would have thought the shower and tub itself would be nicer but all worked well. The resort has a good sized gym and pool. Gym equipment is a little dated but everything you need and was clean. Towel service and complimentary water again. I checked back in with the front desk staff in the morning inquiring about any trails and they were on it. Had a map and provided good instructions. All were extremely kind and knowledgeable, A+. I dined in both the Whisper lounge and 7th floor restaurant, Beverly's. Whisper lounge is convenient being right off the lobby. A little slow for service at first but nice waitress and drinks came quick. I preferred the cocktails at Beverly's as they had a great selection and VERY extensive wine list. We ordered the calamari, filet mignon, and pork chop. All were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The waitress was pleasant and knew a lot about the wines from the bottle list and made a great Napa cab recommendation, Faust, a favorite of mine. The views from the restaurant were fantastic. It's probably a little overpriced for the area but overall great experience. I'll be back.

Yelp
What a beautiful resort! I came here for a weekend away with my best friend and it did it disappoint! The hospitality was great, the rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious and the views were gorgeous. We definitely felt spoiled and loved the entire experience. 10/10 recommend for a weekend away with a friend, a group, or family. There's something for everyone.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to visit the Coeur d'Alene resort to celebrate both of our birthdays. After we checked in, I decided to take a shower before we went to lunch. While taking my shower, I noticed that the water started to backup but didn't think much of it until my wife pointed out that it was sewage backing up. My wife spoke to the front desk, and the changed our room to another. The manager asked my wife to email her the photos, and she included me on the email. To this day we have not received a response to that email and it has been 10 days. If this experience was not enough, the next morning we went to check out and as my wife was bringing the luggage down, I decided to get the car from the garage, and park in the front entrance area to make things easier. As I was leaving my car, the valet person told me I could not park in front of the building even it it was going to be for just a minute, while gathering my bags after checkout. If you have not recently stayed at the Coeur d'Alene resort, know that the rooms are very outdated. It appears that the rooms have not been updated since it was first built. This is probably the $ for value I have ever stayed at. The room we stayed in was a lakeview room that costs approx. $400/night.

Yelp
You will be better off staying at the Best Western! The $300 rooms are extremely small and out dated . Bathroom is very small and outdated as well! The registration desk associates along with the manager are not very sympathetic to my concerns. The only thing the restaurants have going for them are the spectacular views .

Yelp
Fabulous location for family and friends especially as a destination for a wedding. We especially loved the boat ride to and from the Haggadon event center where there is also a private pool, beach and the impeccable golf course. Dockside cafe and Beverly's were delicious and service throughout the resort was excellent. Rooms have great views and were spacious and clean. So much to do with kids and many options for adults who want to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Was a great value for the services, convenience and luxury!

Yelp
2 sandwiches ordered for lunch were so terrible they were returned uneaten. I've frequented the resort many many times. Yesterday's food was awful. That was the worst $60 meal I have ever had there

Chris A.

Yelp
I've stayed here dozens of times and loved it. This time I had a room filled with cig smoke masked by cheap hotel cleaner. Putrid. Called the front desk and she moved me to the room two doors down that was even worse. Told them I cannot stay here and need anything- put me on a cancellation list at any time tonight. Coughed all night and woke up this morning with a massive headache. Zero follow up from management with me. I even offered to pay for an upgraded room desperate to get out of this one. Staff said yes these rooms always smell "old" and nothing they can do about it. Do NOT waste your money here. $400 room. So very disappointed in your resort and lack of effort to correct a situation for a guest. Terrible service.

Yelp
The perfect setting in beautiful, might i say magical, lake Coeur d'Alene. We stayed here this last week for 5 nights. The location could not be more perfect as it's located literally on the lake and right next to Main Street which isn't called Main Street, where all the restaurants and good food is. The staff is very friendly and the hotel itself is nice albeit a little bit outdated. I liked the coffee shop in the lobby and the gym was solid. We ate at dockside restaurant a few times which was good as well, especially breakfast. The negatives are the hotel rooms are old and outdated, mine smelled like cigarette smoke. My room also overlooked the front driveway which is fine I didn't pay a lot for a lakefront because I didn't care in this particular situation. But when they decided to do some landscaping on Tuesday morning at 7 AM it was like the military had rolled in with tanks and were waking us up as the sun rose to get out of bed even though we were on vacation and looking to sleep a little ha ha. The air conditioning barely worked and shot out medium cold air and it was very wet and humid. The room never got really cold and definitely had a wet tinge to it the whole week we were there. Honestly the room sucked. When I checked out I asked for a manager and told him I just wanted him let him know the issues we dealt with even though he had a lovely hotel and I couldn't say enough nice things about the staff. He said he was going to adjust some things on the room and send me my bill later that day and take care of me. I was appreciative and went on my way. Well he never sent me the bill, in fact I had to call back to get the bill sent to me two days later and he basically adjusted $50 of food off the bill as they had already given me a food credit with my room smelling like smoke when I got there. All is good it's a very lovely hotel in a perfect location but overall I wasn't personally impressed and would not recommend it because of the poor quality rooms.

Yelp
I will give this place a 3 star and was hoping for more but just was not there...pulling in the valet line wasn't bad and once entering in the hotel a little clunky of where check in is. What was the 1st turn off was the the complete lackadaisical attitude of the front desk. Only one of the young girls was actually checking people is while the other could care less for helping people. I even went to the point to ask her could she help customers? With a very unenthusiastic attitude agreed to help check in the rest of our party of 9...once inside the room it was incredibly spacious. The rooms however are very outdated and in need of an update. But the views OMG are amazing from at least my room of the marina and lake. Once checked in we went down to the bar and that's the reason for some solid extra stars because our cocktail waitress was awesome!!! In the morning we went to the coffee area and they also were so friendly and helpful. But outside of that I was very underwhelmed...

Yelp
A few opportunities: this resort is not kid friendly. NO OUTSIDE seating for people under 21?? Ridiculous. The resort was very complex to navigate and no one shared how to reach the beach / pool area. Food was not great- very limited vegetarian options and staff not sure how to accommodate. Overall a very meh experience, nothing special. The interior was so dark, despite being near to the lake. No thank you. I did have a nice experience with my service at the 21+ outside seating when I went alone and left my kids in the room

Yelp
this resort is an absolute trash establishment I can't believe they charge what they do for how low quality the room, service and accommodations are. the customer service is HORRIFIC. The man was condescending the whole time when speaking to him and no accommodation was even offered for a mess up that was entirely their fault. I Wouldn't spend a DIME here. The fact that they have 4 stars is beyond me. They stated that their team had reached out to us to resolve and acknowledge the issue and when that is completely false and they failed to make any even attempt at an accommodation for their mistake.

Yelp
Stayed there in room 203. My wife and I think that this is possibly the worst room in the entire resort it is noisy it looks out on the driveway and I have no idea what I did to get such a bad room. I normally travel quite a bit and stay at holiday inn expresses, and for the fact that this room cost nearly 4 times what a Holiday Inn express is and a Holiday Inn express is twice as big although it has no lobby. I think I'd rather a nicer room than a nicer lobby although for the money I would think you could get both a nice lobby and a nice room and that was not the case here. I would say in the future, there is no possible way that I would stay here.

Yelp
Pool and beach are offsite. Not convenient to get to. The boat that takes you there only holds 16 at a time and the old guys running the boats are giving free boat rides to people who are too cheap to pay for an excursion. So good luck getting your large party to and from the beach or pool. Beach is rocky and not very nice. You're better off at the public beach. Rooms never get cleaned even when we call and ask. No fan in the bathrooms and closet doors are broken. The town is amazing but this cannot be the best hotel they have.

Yelp
My time at the Coeur d'Alene Resort has been somewhat limited, but every moment spent here I've been blown away. Located in Downtown CDA this resort sits on the lake with some of the best views in town. The resort is home to a number of bars, my favorite being the Boardwalk Bar with a view that oversees the docks and lake. Bartenders on the boardwalk serve up a variety of tropical cocktails, beers, and seltzer's for visitors to enjoy by the water. Inside the resort is a spa, a variety of restaurants, a small mall with shops and food, and a golf course. While we didn't stay at the resort itself, all these amenities are available to tourists as well. What will really leave you in awe is the beauty. The grounds are covered in bright flowers and green grass, which is a major contrast to the deep blue water of the lake. Perfect picturesque landscape. If you're visiting CDA this spot is a must.

Yelp
This is an amazing resort and the lake view rooms are incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and especially loved having a Gooey at one of their restaurants. Shout out to Kevin in room service who was so kind, prompt and helpful when I placed room service orders. He was cheerful and professional, and he helped make my stay a great one!

Yelp
The Lobby Cafe was extremely disappointing. My wife and I stopped by for some breakfast sandwiches and a coffee. The sandwiches were re-heated, days old, and barely edible. Oh and over priced vs other available options. The coffee was ok. I'm sure other places in the Resort are way better. Just skip the breakfast sandwiches at the Lobby Cafe.

Yelp
The room I stayed in has not been updated since maybe the 70s? Asked for a lake view and I guess technically got one. It overlooks the docks of boats though and you can't see the lake. I would suggest not asking for a lake view to save about $200. They charged my card several times too for one night. Do not recommend

Yelp
Joe aka Aston Kutcher was a spectacular server at Dockside. I give him 6 out of 5 starts!

Yelp
Came to Couer d'Alene for my bachelorette party with my maid of honor who lives there and we came here for the weekend. It was a great place and we had a great view of the lake! Was so much fun, they took great care of us and even sent us some treats the first night we were there. The place was so nice and everyone was very helpful. It's just a short short walk to the downtown where there are bars and restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this place for bachelorette or bachelor parties or birthday weekends! And they also have a boat that shuttles you to another area where they have a pool overlooking the lake! 10/10 weekend

Yelp
Not sure why this place boasts an average of a 3 star review on Yelp. We loved our stay here over Labor Day Weekend. Great location, rooms were clean and well kept.

Yelp
First, it's super expensive. Way too much money for what you get. The hallway smelled like pot 24/7 (pretty sure it had to be employees, I mean who would pay $400 a night and smoke pot in their room literally all day?), the rooms are out dated and smell like old hotel room- if you know what I mean. The multiple emails I received prior to my arrival wanting me to check in with their "contactless system" was kind of annoying. Then the night before my departure I start receiving more emails wanting to know what time I'm leaving. I mean I feel I'm paying a premium here- leave me alone! I'm a native Idahoan and have always wanted to stay here. I was disappointed to say the least. I was here attending a conference- the food was great, however. I guess I've checked this off the list. Won't be back though.

Yelp
Another Spa experience. Massage with Jason. Outstanding. Not first time here and can say that they deliver consistent excellence.

Yelp
It's too bad that so many people have had bad experiences here because we loved ours. We arrived on Labor Day and only stayed one night (wish we would've stayed more) but we experienced as much as we could during our visit and thought it was amazing. Although the rooms could use a little update, there was nothing bad about our lake view king size room. We thought the bed was so comfortable that we started looking for the exact brand. The spa was absolutely beautiful, one of the best I have been in and provided us with everything we needed. Did not feel rushed at all, the massages were great and their newly open sauna was an added bonus. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the infinity pool. All of the staff were great, the food was delicious, and it could not be in a better location in CDA. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place was so awesome if you are looking to have a great day on the lake! The location was easy to get to and the staff was so nice and helpful in getting us set up on our boat. We had the best day!

Yelp
Sadly never coming back. SO unnecessarily expensive for what you get. Not to mention you have to pay $30 for valet parking for one night and there's no complimentary breakfast. The pool was cold and only 4 feet deep. The blinds let in a lot of light in the morning. The walls are thin and I could hear a dripping noise all night. The check in was weirdly slow and confusing. All of this would be acceptable for a hotel if it WASN'T $300 for one night... save your money and go to the Best Western.

Yelp
Location, location, location. You'll stay in a high-rise hotel over looking the beautiful lake and majestic mountains. This hotel is located in the heart of Coeur d'Alene downtown. Older hotel but kept in great condition. Rooms are spacious and beds are leveled higher than the living area.. hotel and rooms are very James Bond-ish vibe. Rooms felt very clean. - Big workout room and an indoor pool. Plus they have a full service spa. And one of Coeur d'Alene's BEST restaurants (Beverly) is located on the 7th floor overlooking the lake. Customer Service within the hotel is tip-top. Everyone is friendly. The hotel also has another one of our favorite restaurant called "The Cedars Floating Restaurant" (classic steak and seafood ), located a few miles away-The hotel will offer free shuttle service for hotel guests. The lobby of the hotel is huge and reminiscent of a large hotel lobby one would see in Las Vegas or Hawaii. We've stayed here a handful times and we've had consistent customer service. Definitely feel like it's worth the money. Great place for families, singles, couples and pets!

Yelp
nice resort but my internet connection was cut off before the end of my stay. The staff was no help in trying to solve the issue. This happened to several others in my business party. The staff commented they had a call into their technician. 12 hours later... there is no resolution or response. Apparently, if your stay is longer than so many days, your internet service is axed. when I asked if they could issue me a new password, the response was, "No". completely unacceptable response for a luxury resort.
