Had an amazing experience at this location. I have a dairy allergy and the employee with the pink hair (I believe her name is Katie) was very helpful with suggesting dairy free options. Took a little longer than usual since it was busy but it was worth the wait because the drink was absolutely delicious! There’s a reason this is my go-to spot!

This place can charge your phone or laptop, they have charge on set, is a very good place I like to study at this place.

Fire the emo girl that works on sundays she is so UNPLEASANT. Are you forcing her to work there? It looks like she hates life man I feel even hesitant to order coffee cause her attitude is the most unwelcoming. I used to work in the industry and believe me even when I was having bad days I would make an effort to be slightly nice. She is hurting your business, she can eff off for real.

The best! This is my everyday go-to spot in town. First off, the main manager Marcus is the coolest, friendliest, and most organized guy out there. Manager Marcus makes this place the great place that it is. The rest of the staff are all friendly and polite. I order mobile to-go orders while I leave my home to drive there, and my order is always ready and waiting for me in the 3-4 minutes it takes me to drive there. BEST SPOT IN TOWN!

Nice, quiet place for studying with spacious tables. The tables are pretty big, so if you happen to grab one just for yourself, other people might join you. There is ample, free parking downstairs in the structure [rare for CA]. Service is friendly as well! I got tea last time, so I will definitely be back to try their coffee/other drinks.

This locations is really a five star location! The service here is absolutely outstanding. The manager and staff all seemed to know their clients by first name. They welcomed everyone with cheerful greetings. No strangers here! Met a friend for a coffee break here The regular latte was delicious The everything toasted bagel was yummy. This place is clean and welcoming! Just be careful of where you sit. My friend and I sat at a table. She has a walker. At the end of our visit a man came up to us and told us that we were sitting in his seat. He sits there everyday for the last 25 years! Sorry, my friend.

I just love my neighborhood Coffee Bean! People that work here are so nice and accommodating. Perfect rainy day for some hot coffee. I usually order a vanilla latte with oat milk. So delicious and creamy!

It is Brentwood meaning no parking lot, street parking only. Corner of San Vincente Barrington. Busy during weekdays and quieter during weekends! Staffs are kind and friendly. Lots of outdoor tables and chairs but the city needs to clear the trash more often on the street which is infront of Coffee Bean and Tea leaf. Everytime I come, that trash bin is overfill with trash all over the ground. A disgusting sight!

The coffee was fine, and the people were nice, but I ordered some egg bites and didn't find out until I had driven away that they had pink mold on the bottom of them. Y'all need to check that kind of thing.

I've been coming here since childhood and it never disappoints. My go tos are their hazelnut ice blended and I absolutely love their seasonal winter dream latte. FYI - if you ever order from Postmates or are not there in person, do not order an iced blended. It's runny by the time it gets to you. It just tastes like an iced coffee, so not the worst thing in the world. I would get a hot/iced coffee for takeout and save the ice blendeds for in person visits.

I love the quality of the drinks served here just absolutely exceptional customer service and best drinks prepared. I ordered my regular breakfast but it is always too crowded to park in front and the back parking is always a hot mess and oddly there's an attendant who tries to regulate and I'm just there to order and go. I don't like the location here particularly because of the difficulty getting in and out but the service and drink qualities here are exceptional. I ordered a small drink and wish I had ordered the extra large it was that delicious. I love the customer service here and the drink and food quality here which makes this spot probably my second favorite or favorite location for Coffee Bean. The one at the LAX were the worst but West LA has the best quality due to location.

This store is one of the best of the chain as the staff is always very personable they remember your drink and the quality of the drink is excellent. Marcus is a great role model for all his staff as he is so upbeat and personable and runs a tight ship

I should've went to Starbucks. The people working were super nice but the place itself and the clientele, definitely not my cup of tea. Their food is just processed and packaged, I was hoping the coffee would make up for that but naaa super mid. Definitely not worth it, you can spend the same amount of money at a local coffee shop and support a small buisness instead.

I like the manager there, he makes people feel welcome, good drinks. Every time I go there and the manager is not there. Employee seem lazy and makes terrible drinks. Sadly I won't go back. I'll go to Starbucks across the street. The employees from 8/17/23 3pm makes the worst drinks

Ok. Haven't come here in a while. Thought I'd try again. Placed app order. It'd be ready 806am. Came in at 810 and coffee not there! Asked the barista and she says I know I made it-- umm someone took it?!! You'd think they'd be making me another. But waited 15 min watching other orders being made and picked up. Finally asked her if she's remaking my order. " I haven't had a chance". Omg. Really!? Now I'm late to work. And it only took her two minutes to make it. Oh well. Back to Starbucks

This was my favorite CBTL, as of this morning. Highly doubt I'll be back. The manger was amazing,..... what happened to him? Left in is place 3 overbearing women (that appered to clash when together), that treated me like garbage. I would say in the past; " professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a very clean store, i highlyrecommend". Now today I'd say the total opposite; "unkempt (looks), clueless, snarky and down right rude. Would never recommend. You say I'm being too harsh? Naw, yesterday was the same. Today 2nd in line, 4 behind me. Let's just say all we're served before me. Done... I have $200.00 in gift cards... looking for a new place. Besides they've raised the 3 times in one month, surpassing Starsucks by $1.00 for the same crap! So, so disappointed in this company and management!

They will physically harm you if you don't tip: example I asked for warm so I wouldn't burn my tongue. They made it piping hot on purpose I had to spit it out and drop it not to burn my hand. They're rude as hell and they need a whole crew flushed out and rehired. Should I sue? Do they teach their employees to do this when people don't tip?

Everyone here was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I arrived at this Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at 3:09 p.m. because their mega-chain competitor (across the street) closed at 3:00 p.m. What? Well, these guys delivered like the others didn't. It took them literally 2 minutes to make me a mocha latte. It was in my hand at 3:11 p.m. Freddy was great at the register, cheerful and interested in getting my order right. Apparently, General Manager Marcus Mabella hires and trains his employees well. Check out Mr. Mabella's name proudly emblazoned on the front door. This is where I'm coming for coffee and snacks from now on when I'm in Brentwood.

Such a shame. This is a beautiful location, but the customer service is getting worse day by day. Some of the new employees, especially the college kids that they hired, are horrible at customer service, unprofessional with zero manners. It is obvious they are there for a paycheck. Yesterday they charged me for a large drink and gave me a small one. The barista claimed she charged me for the small one. That's the drink I have every day. I know how much it costs. I didn't want to make a big deal about it. Today, they charged my card twice. For a drink and two muffins, they charged me $15, then $13. I showed them on my online banking app that they double charged me, and they were acting like they were clueless not understanding what I was talking about and showed zero interest in fixing it. Nothing makes the customers run to the Starbucks across the street like bad customer service here. Well, enjoy losing customers and money.

The manager Marcus is the best and Billy is always so sweet! This is a great neighborhood coffee bean. They remember all of their returning customers and are always so friendly. We love our coffee bean team!

Every time we're out for the day our first stop is Coffee Bean it's great to go to places that know you Ona first name basis!

I just had to write a review because this coffee bean is beyond efficient! Post Covid, it's been not as common to see people work as hard as these individuals. The team is incredibly nice and the manager, Marcus, really makes you feel like you are part of their community. It makes my day when I stop by there. They maintain a great chill vibe in the shop - hope they get a raise because they deserve it!!

I'd have to wonder if this location continues to have Covid outbreaks when it has been constantly closing for two weeks at a time. Does anyone know?

The customer service here and at all coffee beans I've been to is SO BAD. The drinks are fine, but they take forever and are just plain rude. On multiple occasions and multiple different coffee beans, they have "forgot" about my order and everyone was getting their drinks before me that ordered after me. Not to mention half the time they only accept cash because their systems are down. Very unreliable and have had multi role bad experiences. If their iced blended wasn't so good I would never come back.

My favorite coffee bean. Plenty of outdoor seating perfect for a sunny afternoon and great people watching! Most of he staff is very nice, with some occasional not so nice ones, but generally nice. The lady who helped me today however is one of the nicest ever! Great energy, super helpful, nice and funny. The tables inside are a bit limited but thankfully they have heaters outside.

This coffee bean has the kindest team of all the nearby coffee shops. Marcus is a great manager and you can tell everyone genuinely wants that small town vibe where they remember your name.

You found it. This is the original Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location. It's been updated a few times since then. The two things I'll offer here since Coffee Bean's great selection and drink quality are well-established is the parking and the speed of service. Parking is on top of the building. Make sure you get a ticket from the parking guy to get validated in the CB. Speed of service: lightning fast and friendly. This certainly carries well the tradition of coffee bean established so long ago in this very spot.

YESTERYEAR: Boy, did I spend a ton of time here in my 20s with a stack of scripts like every other schmo around me, barely making a dent in my reading because I was too concerned with all the people watching this location had to offer. Back then, I quite enjoyed my sugar-free Iced Blendeds. TODAY: The scene has since quieted down. There's less of a party scene going on that patio, but it's still definitely a louder and less civilized experience than say Alfred's down the street. My palette has since matured to a simple Americano which seems on the weaker/bitter/blander side than my preferred Peet's or even Starbucks (if we're going to compare to other chains). They've also recently undergone a remodel. I was expecting a huge overhaul. Instead, it was a mere update. Not enough, I feel, to make CBTL relevant. I feel CBTL needs to brand itself anew in order to sustain the new wave of coffee spots. With chains like Philz being more in the now, CBTL in Brentwood seems pretty dated...and a bit over. Harsh but true.

I've been calling them over and over making sure they gave me the right ginsing tea for Uber eats and they don't answer at all who doesn't answer the business phone?! Very unprofessional ! They were out of the tea I wanted and gave me chamomile when I needed caffeine answer the phone

The whole stuff there is professional and courteous.I had a great experience being served by Kim and Stephen.The store is kept in great condition,even the merchandise on the shelves was well placed and organized like a doctor's office!

I like the outdoor seating options of this Coffee Bean. When it's a nice warm day, I prefer to sit outside and sip my Iced Hazelnut Latte or Double Espresso. The quality is what you expect from a Coffee Bean. However, the service (2 stars) is hit or miss with a combination of nice and mostly rude baristas. If there's a long line, they move faster than the nearby Starbucks. If you're a CBTL rewards member, don't forget to give your info since they don't always remind you.

The drinks here are okay but I am repeatedly concerned about the cleanliness practices of the employees. Last time I was there, one employee with extra super long hair had it brushing all over the counter as she bent down, and over some of the food stuff. This time, I saw the same employee pick up a patrons phone to look at his drink order for pick up, then immediately go back to making drinks. NO handwashing between strangers phone and drink prep. How is this sanitary? It would be gross before coronavirus, buy now it is just concerning. I hope the management here addresses these things, because I'm not the only person who saw this and got concerned. Aside from that, drinks are decent, and they make you where a mask before entering but it's kinda irrelevant when you see this other stuff going on.

I think we should all admit by now that the Coffee Bean rewards program is really the best out there. Better than Peet's. And easily beats Starbucks' rewards program. On a typical month, I redeem close to 6-7 free beverages, using the Coffee Bean app. They just keep coming. And I keep falling for them. I love them. It's great to spend money, knowing that for each penny you spend, you get something back. It's rare to find such generosity by a retailer, and Coffee Bean should be acknowledged for distributing reward points so generously. I am rewarding them with my 5 stars.

Totally agree with the other reviews- truly the friendliest people work here! I work within walking distance, and the staff I normally see are very kind, and I swear the drinks I get here taste better than other locations. Definitely recommend!!!

Very good coffee selections and pastries . They had a long line almost by the door and it was around 6:30 pm, they coffee took a bit longer than usual . I'm not sure that time is the rush hour but I don't think it was at that time( heads up ). Obviously all the tables were taken so we had to get out coffee and go. I saw a few people waiting to get tables not many . The coffee was very warm and well done overall .

This place was okay. Service was fast, customers just doing their job, but nothing new. I just came here because it was the closest to where we were at on a video set.

Strawberries n Creme tea latte. That's my typical order at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf places. Flavored tea mixed with a bit of vanilla powder, topped with milk. SOOOO GOOD! The staff at this location has been very friendly to me. Yes, my drink got messed up once, but they took note, admitted fault and made me another one. They even upgraded the size of my drink. That's good service right there.

I love this specific Coffee Bean. It has plenty of seating choices, more outside than inside. The outside areas have coverings and umbrellas for shade. There's also heaters that they open at night and it's really cozy. Different types of seats, some have cushions! Their wifi is awesome. Never had a problem. Their service? Even better! If they mess up a drink, they'll gladly do it again until they get it to what you like. Also, they're really dog friendly. The manager actually suggested this to me: I call in before and walk my dog here and if you wave from the door, they'll bring your drink to you outside and get your money from there so you don't have to leave their dog outside alone haha. Definitely a cozier Coffee Bean and everyone there is so thoughtful! ICED CARAMEL LATTE: Stronger than starbucks and it's awesome! CHAI TEA LATTE: One of the few places that do a chai tea latte correctly. Strong and none of that watered down crap.

They have the worse service ever. Every time I go there which is on Fridays they make me wait for so long to give my order, wrong order or never get my order. Their customer service is horrible compared to many other starbucks that I go all the time. They need to pay more attention to their customer service.

By far the nicest Coffee Bean I've ever been to... It's set up like a higher-end cafe rather than a chain coffee shop. The outdoor seating area is pretty big and you have your option of siting in lounge chairs under umbrellas or the usual plastic chairs that you normally seen. The staff us really nice, helped simplify my somewhat complicated order and I was in and out in no time at all. This is a great spot to study, and there are plenty of food options around if you get hungry, and it's also nice for people watching- lots of eye candy in this area ;)

First time at this location today. Not sure I'll ever be back... First, free parking is only 30 minutes and is located way in the back of the store. You literally have to walk through a long, narrow corridor, to access the storefront on San Vicente. The staff is cool and friendly. It looks like they're doing everything they can to please customers, even the most complicated ones. I had one of them right ahead of me in the line and the staff managed to keep their calm like true professionals (trust me, that took some nerves!). Not a bad experience overall. I just wish free parking was extended to at least an hour.Especially considering that The Coffee Bean charges more than Starbucks on average and Starbucks generally offers unlimited free parking.

I'm not a coffee bean person but I came here for my boyfriend and I to study and this has to be the most annoying place to be to study because there are 2 employees just screaming and talking to loudly, I can even hear them in the back screaming. By far the worst place to be doing homework. The only good thing about this place is the Matcha blended, other than that I can not stand it here. Very unprofessional employees. If the general manager reads this, I was here June 28th, between 7-9.

One time we went to Starbucks on the opposite side of the street and the place was completely packed. We then crossed the street and crossed our fingers for an open table at Coffee Bean. Luckily, there were a few tables available at that busy hour (8-9pm). Not a lot of people were actually doing intense studying as in Starbucks, so it saved me the stress. The drinks weren't as good as I expected, but the barista was nice. Wifi is free, but you need to obtain the passcode from inside the store.

Stop in for a almond latte and muffin. There was a bit of confusion but the gal at the counter was so professional. I didn't realize until she told me. I wish there were more people like her. She was so on it. Big props!! Plus the coffee at The Bean is far superior then at that bucks place.. Yuck! Keep up the great work.

Love coffee bean and always have so much better than starfucks, lately on the Sony pictures lot I have been having the dbl expresso with chocolate and it's damn good!
