The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Pearl City

This is the kind of vibes you wanna have when you get coffee, tea and everything in between. The atmosphere is chill, the layout is spacious and the theme of coffee just resonates alongside the cosy scent of caffeine, chocolate and beans.

Terrible service. Terrible quality of food. The male in the pink shirt who took my order was very distracted and I had to repeat my order to him 5x for two drinks. They were out of bagels so I got a croissant sand-which and asked for it to be toasted…. It was cold when I took a bite. Same male is the one who warmed my items up. I asked for a bag after getting my drinks and the two females working the drive thru ignored me…. I walked to my car and from the car saw the male who helped me was vaping on the side of the building. Explains why he was distracted. He was pressed to be able to take a smoke rather than provide great service.

Stink homeless always sitting on the chairs outside. You go inside to order and they place you behind the drive through orders (happen to me twice) when I was the ONLY walk in waiting for a small coffee- terrible service, no system and their regional manager needs to speak to her owners and elevate their game- you fixed Pearl city Foodland didn’t you?

Frustrated!! everytime I come here they mess up my drink. They ask you “do you want whip” I say yes and get to the window and there is no whip. Something always funny because there always laughing so loud on the intercom l! Also I don’t know who does the inventory but they need to have someone else do it. One time I got my drink I had coffee grounds in it and they gave me a big boba straw!! They’re always out of something. Whip cream, cards, etc! The Ewa location and Ala Moana are by far the best in my own opinion.

It is loud with a cacophony of different sources of music, it is dirty, and there are no accessible cup sleeves, napkins to clean the table with or warning that you might burn your hand holding your drink or have no wifi to work. Worst choice in a while... I can't comment on the food. Horrible atmosphere, and I suppose best used for the drive-through only.

Their AC is currently broken, barista had no idea I'd been standing there waiting for a few mins, or she knew and ignored me. Another barista had walked out from the back area, didn't acknowledge me standing there. There was maybe 1 person that was in the drive thru when I arrived so not busy enough to not be able to acknowledge customers. Will not return to this location.

This is the worst run Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf out there. Out of everything (for literal months) & the barista's laugh about it. No food and if they have what you want, the toaster has been out since March. Don't mind the homeless taking up all the seating outside either. Clearly going out of business & well deserved. Awesome service, cool A/C and a variety of indoor or outdoor seating options. Lychee tea is amazing!
