Been here a few times before, and it’s always been a good experience. It’s a restored building in a vintage-looking part of downtown. The front has large windows, a couple of patio tables, and bright yellow mums that invite you to step inside. Once inside, it’s a big space with a chill vibe. The order counter is large, with a few seats and a good view into the barista area. There’s plenty of seating for different-sized groups, plus an elevated seating and stage area at the back.
It was late Monday afternoon, and there were only a couple of other people inside. I got a friendly greeting from the barista and help with my order. I went with my usual London Fog Tea Latte in a mug (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). I also wanted some bakery, but the only options were cookies and brownies, so I chose the Molasses Cookie. Along with that, I ordered a Peach Mango Refresher.
The beverages and cookie were good. The refresher was made with half coconut milk, which added some richness. The London Fog was decent, and the cookie was chewy and flavorful. It made for a very relaxing time, sitting on a sofa and reading a book.
On the way out, we browsed the small wine and grocery room off to the right. Lots of interesting spices, wines, vinegars, and gift ideas.
This is definitely a place I’ll stop in again.
